Excellent food and great value breakfast Everything was good
- Paul (10/5): Amazing value for the money. - Hotel plus Indian restaurant that also does a Sunday carvery at a very good price, cheap beer. Very well priced, great staff and nothing is a problem. Highly recommended Nothing
- Robert (8/5): Warm short stay for Worcester trip - Welcoming kind host. Really handy location for Worcester & beautiful surrounding areas. Useful to have a garage next door.
- Maurice (6/5): - Everything was as I expected, the menu was extensive and the food very good. The heating in the room did not stay on long and the room got very cold
- Matteo_j95 (9/5): - Amazing host with extensive historical knowledge about the pub and good facilities.
- Jennifer (8/5): - Warm fire and food
- Linda (10/5): Perfect location for me, the staff were polite and helpful and friendly and I would stay again. - The breakfast was good The could've been cleaned better as their was alot of dust and cobwebs around the main door entrance
- Alex (10/5): Very happy - A very old building with a lot of history loved how the staff was very accommodating, the food was outstanding Loved everything but the pillows could do with extra
- Helen (7/5): Enjoyable - Amazing staff, welcoming and knowledgeable around the property. fantastic food and great service. Facilities could do with updating
- Phil (8/5): - Both good
- Sarah (7/5): - The hospitality of the staff was wonderful Little old fashioned
- Jane (7/5): -
- Beverley (8/5): Great value for money place to stay - Staff extremely friendly
Good food Needs a bit of cosmetic upgrade but nothing major
- Manish (10/5): -
- Yannis (9/5): - The welcome of staff. A good smile makes a difference. An open common cabinet with toiletries makes perfect sense for good environmental housekeeping.
Dinner was very good as well. Nothing to write here.
- Terry (10/5): Stayed here many times always feel welcome and the staff are really nice - Everything and the staff are so nice and friendly Nothing
- Linda (8/5): Visiting family - Friendly welcoming staff, food excellent As previously mentioned the rooms are a little tired but great value for money
- Jean (4/5): Unpleasant - On arrival we were told to sit and wait, then we were given a glass of water each. Then we were told to leave our bags and follow the receptionist- he wanted to show us the well in the restaurant and to look at some old photos of the building. We just wanted to get into our room.
The room was miserable. The window didn’t fit its frame. The shower was mouldy. There were bare wires to the towel rail next to the sink. The decor was tired.
We were told breakfast started at 8 and booked it for then; we needed to leave quickly. When we arrived at 8 we couldn’t find anyone at first, then told where to sit and asked if we wanted tea or coffee. There was no sign of any food anywhere, so asked how long breakfast would take to prepare (we had no idea what it was going to be). We were told it would be 15 minutes or so. We decided to leave since there was no evidence of any food being available at all and thought it likely to take longer.
- Tony (8/5): - On arrival I was offered a glass of water which was nice after a long day. Also given a brief history and made a wish in the well!!
Very friendly and helpful staff It is what it is. A budget stay for work. Don't expect too much but bear in mind that it is very good value for money.
- Megan (5/5): It’s good value for money would recommend - It’s a very interesting place with the history it’s decent value for money We had an issue with our radiator and it flooded our room in the middle of the night
- Abdel (3/5): -
- theo (8/5): Friendly staff excellent food - The staff could not have been more friendly The food was excellent. I had the evening special meal which was fantastic value and extremely tasty. The room was a little tired and could do with some tlc but it was a budget hotel and overall I was happy with the stay for the money I paid.
- Gary (5/5): Friendly owner, but the hotel needs a refurb - The owner was welcoming and the bed comfortable. Your view will vary according to your expectations. We wanted cheap and cheerful and it just about met that brief. It was not unpleasant, but I would not choose to stay there again. The place is worn out and needs a complete refurb to stand any chance of success.
- Dave (10/5): Midweek break - Loads of parking open fire
- Alexandru (3/5): - Mold in the bathroom
- Linda (9/5): Think this was my third time of staying....thank you once again. - AS usual I was met with a warm welcome and a lovely glass of cold water. All staff are very friendly and courteous. My room was clean and tidy - just the location of the hotel and room, meant that that traffic was heard. Breakfast was fine thank you I also ate dinner at the Inn which was scrumptious. YUM room could have been quieter but otherwise everything was fine as usual. thank you.
- Adrian (6/5): Short 2 night stay - Always a warm welcome and we like the location to stourport on Severn, and links to the surrounding area and M5.
The rooms are fine for the price you pay and breakfast is also fine although full English appears to be the only choice offered. Don't actually dislike much at leaking well, but be prepared to use the 24hr access door as it closed around 9pm on Sunday Evening,
Simply filling in screw holes and a lick of paint could easily eliminate potential marking down of rooms in reviews. Along with silicone replacement in showers.

- Anthea (9/5): A brilliant place to stay near Stourport, friendly and comfortable. - We chose the Leaking Well because their restaurant got great revues, and they're well deserved!
Friendly welcome from the team, with an introductory tour of the ancient pub the fronts the property, and an invitation to make a wish in the original (indoor) well.
Fabulous food, chosen with difficulty from an extensive menu - and amazingly inexpensive.
Also a superb breakfast - plenty of choice for every palate We had a family room and the single bed was placed in front of the radiator - so no heat gets into the room - wouldn't be a problem in the summer, but it meant the room was a touch on the chilly side for November.
- Terry (10/5): -
- Hollie (6/5): -
- martin (8/5): -
- John (7/5): Basic but very good value. - Price & Evening Meal (Curry) Very small room.
- Margaret (8/5): Excellent value for an overnight stay with full English breakfast included. - Great location and excellent value for an overnight stay on our journey. Nothing

- Cameron (8/5): Great for an overnight stop, fabulous host - Really nice owner, for the price is what excellent value , nice breakfast, good WiFi Sealant around shower needs urgent attention as it's black
- Tony (8/5): Very reasonable pub/hotel with fabulous food. - My price included breakfast which was a full English that was fabulous. I ate in the evening and it was Asian food that was absolutely amazing. Only minor, the rooms are a bit tired, but clean.
- tim (9/5): - Good breakfast. Good room and we had a great dinner there
- Barbara (1/5): Don't stop here - The whole property stunk of curry. It was freezing cold, and the radiators had hazard tape warnings on them. The breakfast was very poor. Only instant coffee on offer, no cereals on offer, I asked for toast and was brought the cheapest bread with some tasteless spread on it.
- Richard (9/5): I would stay at this place again if I was in the locality - The food was excellent All good
- Carl (8/5): -
- Blaine (8/5): - Roadside location was great Nothing
- lynda (8/5): Lovely night stay in accessable room staff were very helpful and friendly and food great too woulain - Breakfast was lovely staff very friendly and helpful
- Donnelly (10/5): - Beautiful place to stay if your working in the area I.e Worcester, Kidderminster, stourport or Droitwich I recommend it. Yes one, for such a beautiful place, great setting and beautiful countryside why not advertise more, promote it and update your website I only knew about this because someone told me at work.
- Andrew (8/5): - How welcoming and friendly the staff were The rooms are a little dated
- jane (9/5): - Great location for our journey. Lovely welcome on arrival. Clean room, comfy bed. Good price. Excellent Indian meal in restaurant.
- Omari (10/5): - Staff was amazing Nothing
- Guy (8/5): Decent place - Good size room for 3
Comfortable beds
En suite
No traffic sounds
Very good breakfast
Bar with a good selection of drinks
Amazing price for our stay Pressure for the shower was more or less non-existent.
- Samuel (7/5): -
- Malcolm (8/5): Excellent Nepalese food, comfortable room but in need of some renovation - Excellent Nepalese food also English food provided., friendly helpful staff. Comfortable clean room. Large car park Room in need of some renovation. Isolated location with just a petrol station next door but a short drive to Worcester & Stourport
- Stephen (1/5): - The host was very polite and personable. The room was depressing and the bedding was dirty. The bed felt uncomfortable. We were so disappointed that we immediately left and booked in elsewhere even though it meant paying again.
- Bill (9/5): Exceeded expectations - Staff welcoming and very helpful on arrival. Escorted to our room upstairs and our luggage carried there. Room was clean and tidy with a view to the rear of the premises. Usual facilities provided, TV and beverages etc. Bathroom was again clean and tidy. There was a bar and a restaurant that served superb Indian dishes. Not sure if alternative English evening fare is available because we didn't ask. Had a good night sleep followed by a huge full English breakfast which neither of us could finish. This was accompanied by copious amounts of tea and coffee. Finally, when about to leave, a staff member insisted that he carry our luggage to our car. All in all a very good stay. NB Ask for room 4. Could do with some plug points by the beds.
- Lauren (10/5): -
- Adrian (8/5): Overall comfortable stay at a good location and a good price - Good location for my trip. Friendly owners and staff. Good Indian food, recommend Friday buffet. Lack of draught beer and Guinness
- Nick (10/5): Good location. Friendly welcome - I was at a wedding at Curradine Barns; around 4 miles away. A nice friendly welcome and was kindly allowed to check in early. I didn’t use the pub/restaurant as I don’t have time. However it looked a lovely clean area. A bit noisy being on the main road. The room very basic but comfy.
- Richard (8/5): Good value and did the job for what we wanted - Convenient and very attentive staff. Evening meal was good too. Could do with a bit of an decor refresh but did the job
- Amerjit (10/5): - The staff were very good and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable. Nice place to stay. Very friendly. Will book again.
- Chidambaram (8/5): - Price for 3. Breakfast.
- Gerry (5/5): Location good staff excellent. Disappointing room. It was chilly. The sky box didn’t work. shower US - Hot water in our room kept going cold then hot then cold
- Sarah (9/5): Very welcoming and helpful owner - Easy to find spacious rooms
- NICOLA (9/5): Lovely little place - Breakfast reasonably priced and fantastic
Customer service brilliant
Clean and comfortable room
Very good price
Noise minimal for main road location
18 minutes drive to safari park Nothing
- Santorelli (6/5): - Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Comfortable bed. Needs a refurbishment.
- Elaine (8/5): Nice and cosy - The landlord/proprietor is proud of the history, giving my grandson a coin to make a wish and showing us the old photos.
Lovely that they have a dresser/bureau with items to top up the room such as tea/coffee/sugar and shampoos.
Clean and welcoming room.
Food was lovely and freshly cooked, good menu choices too.
Staff friendly and helpful Shower need a little tlc, not much pressure and some mould present.
- Deakin (9/5): Would use again for business trips, really lovely place to stay including location. - Host was very welcoming and attentive.
- Lynn (8/5): Enjoyable and friendly. Relaxing. Food very good. - The hospitality of the host and bar person.
The food was very nice. Shower enclosure. Noisy room by fire escape.

- Pauline (9/5): -
- Dixon (10/5): Third time staying here so it must be good - Clean comfy fantastic choice of food and huge portions lots of alcohol choice
Massive car park and free
- julie (10/5): very good real value - very good no
- David (10/5): Exceptional service and quality - These hosts are truly exceptional and could teach the hospitality sector many good things. Saying goodbye
- Phil (8/5): The staff really make this place - Food was excellent, the menu was one of the reasons I came back, rooms are basic but clean and functional, staff are exceptional particularly Rana sausages were described as "local" but tasted like cheap Richmond shop bought sausages, they devalued the rest of the breakfast
- Johanne (10/5): We were made to feel welcome and comfortable - It was a good location for us clean welcoming and comfortable Nothing
- peter (10/5): Gem of a place - Stopped off here on the way from the North East heading to Torquay. We were met by a happy courteous member of staff who showed us the famous Leaking well and he even had some change on hand to help us to make a wish. The rooms were clean and tidy, the shower was nice and hot. The evening meal in the restaurant was delicious and very well cooked and presented as was the Breakfast the following morning accompanied by lovely strong coffee. I really could not fault this place and would stop off again next time we are heading to the South West. Great welcome
Great Staff
Great Food
- Michael (7/5): Great value for money. Basic, no frills and people running it bent over backwards for us. - This place is just what we were looking for. We were in the area for a wedding at a nearby venue, and were arriving late Friday the day before and heading home straight home early Sunday. We needed a reasonably priced, no frills place to sleep, be able to eat when we arrived and have breakfast. It is a pub also so you can get a drink if you want, but it lacks a nice place to sit outside.
Although on a main road, it was very quiet in the evening and at night.
The food is basically Indian or South East Asian. The Friday we arrived they had an all-inclusive Indian buffet which I had and which was excellent, lots of choice of starters, mains and sides. My wife had something they cooked fresh for her off the menu - also excellent. We didn’t have breakfast in the end, but from I saw it looked very good.
The people running this place are lovely and super helpful - for example, they kept the kitchen open an hour after normal to accommodate the late arrival of other family. It wasn’t a problem for us, but the location may not suit all. Dunhampton is tiny and appears to have no other restaurants or pubs. There are a few nearby villages, but you’d have to drive to other pubs or eateries.
This place has all you need for a short stay, but it’s looking a bit tired and could do with a refurb. You have to balance this against the much higher price of pretty much everything else anywhere in the area. Our bill for two nights plus dinner and drinks was about 2/3 the cost of what other family paid for one night in other nearby hotels. So overall we’re happy - if we were staying in the area for a few days and needed a base, we’d
probably splash out a bit more.
- Simone (4/5): Do Not Book the so called disabled access room. - We arrived to a room built on the end of an Indian restaurant, next door to a fuel station. The bedding was questionable , marks and hairs all over. We used the towels to lay on top of the bed. There were marks all over the walls and kettle. I asked what time check out was, the man told me most people leave at 8am, on looking at my booking we didn’t need to check out til 12. I asked what time was breakfast as supposed to be included in the stay. He didn’t think that we had and said we could pay if he couldn’t find the booking. We were woken by 20 or so bikers at the fuel station very early. Cut or losses and left. Stains on the carpets. The photos on here look nothing like the room we stayed in. Being alone with my two children we did not feel safe nor did we feel comfortable. I didn’t speak to the man l, he never returned and I also got the impression he had no clue what was going on, or knew how to deal with guests. Everything.
Mouldy fridge
Marks all over walls, some I think were blood
Staff had no clue about our booking or what was included.
Room looked like old converted garage. Old furniture. Questionable bedding.
Paid for breakfast on booking then told wasn’t part of booking.
Told to leave at 8am, although checkout was up til 12?
All very strange. Think one of the staff probably stayed in there usually.
- Percival (8/5): short and sweet one overnight stay - old public house but very clean and proprietor very welcoming menus
- evaldas (10/5): -
- Mandi (10/5): Excellent food and service comfortable bed - Excellent welcome, friendly and helpful All good
- Kenny (10/5): - Loved the Indian restaurant in the hotel and the owners were very informative, we loved r stay Wasn't anything we disliked

- Smith (8/5): -
- Smith (8/5): -
- beverly (8/5): Value for money - Stayed for three nights host was friendly and informative all staff where friendly room was spacious and fully equipped with tea making facilities hair dryer and fan food was excellent
- Ros (8/5): - The Indian breakfast was really fresh and worth the 10 minute or so wait. Staff were totally lovely, kind and helpful. Characterful bar and restaurant. Very busy road (though with window closed you didn't hear the traffic but a slight smell of drains if left open), toilet took a long time to stop running after flushing, quite a small double bed up to the window.
- John (10/5): - The most perfect host you are ever likely to meet. The food was fantastic. The rooms had everything you needed and we're clean. Fantastic value. We did not dislike anything,
- Eva (10/5): -
- Susan (10/5): - More of a restaurant with accommodation than a pub, this is a lovely place to stop whether it be for food or stopover. Very good value for money.
Unique history with the leaking well on display inside the restaurant.
This is an old building, so it is showing its age, aren't we all, but the staff go out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible.
- John (9/5): - The staff were great! The food was good and the accommodation met my expectations.
- Thompson (5/5): -
- Philipp (8/5): - Nettes Personal. Großer Parkplatz.
- Antonello (8/5): - Comodo per chi e' in viaggio verso Worcester
Buona cucina indiana nel pub ed ottima colazione Letto piccolo
- Sandra (10/5): - Great overnight stay. Very comfortable. Food excellent. Dog friendly, but only have 2 rooms, so ring to check before going. Small charge. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Thoroghly enjoyed our stay. Thank you. Nothing. Our room was cozy double (big enough for overnight stay). We were offered an upgrade free of charge to a larger twin room, but we were happy with what we booked.
- Darran Mills (1/5): 0- - Knock the place down, I use booking.com all the time and we were so disappointed and had to book in to the granary in stourport instead that was lovely but costing us another £170 . Very stressful as we come every month to stourport to visit my partner's dad who is 92 years old and very poorly at the moment increasing our stress levels. Not happy.
