• Ashley (10/5): Great stay loved the breakfast value for money - Top of town and staff all organised when checking in had paperwork ready with customers names and very polite Sockets by the beds didn’t work properly no toilet brush and couldn’t move kettle out a little bit too make hot drinks space to small
• Sorcha (3/5): Won't be rushing back - Desk in room so was able to work Bathroom was old and tired, plumbing was really noisy (continued making loud noises for 15 minutes after flushing the toilet). Lots of late night noise in the corridor, seemed to be a family staying that had young children running up and down the corridor shouting and crying at midnight.

Had the breakfast the next morning, great selection of foods and value for money. Location was very close to railway which suited us. Room was plenty big with tv and comfortable beds and plenty towels,hand towels,soap etc. Highly recommend and will return. No complaints at all

Krásná velká koupelna a uvítali jsme že u postele jsme mohli nabíjet přímo klasickým USB C a nebyla potřeba redukce. Snídaně dostačující, ale chyběla mi tam zelenina. Nádraží v docházkové vzdálenosti pěkným parčíkem - letiště STN jsme dojeli za 15 min a do Londýna 30 min.

• Sylvia (7/5): Ideal location for my purpose - Mattresses were comfortable as were the choice of pillows. Rooms were well furnished and clean. Breakfast: there was no alternative to a savoury no sugar hot breakfast like cheese, cold meats, cucumber, tomatoes, olives etc Room 447: drainage of the the bathroom sink water was virtually non existent Room 340: On my arrival around 7pm I found the sofa was opened up into a bed even though I was the only occupant. No space to move or sit down. I was too exhausted to do anything about it at the time. The air con was switched off which I appreciated. However, it started flashing with torch light brightness in the early morning hours 4am and could neither be switched on nor off. Unable to go back to sleep I was left bleary eyed instead of refreshed. I reported my issues to friendly and apologetic reception who made a note.

The hot breakfast The fact that the car park was closed so we had to go next door which unfortunately got me turning right onto the bus lane🙈. Praying we don't get a fine🙏. Disappointed that there was no porridge being made at all Bed was a bit soft

• Audrey (9/5): Perfect for overnight stay - Perfect location for an overnight stay. Very close to shopping area. 25 minute walk to train station but you can get a cab. Only 15 minutes away from Stansted airport by train. Spacious and comfy room, amazing bathroom and shower. Delicious breakfast serving cold and hot items. All was good

The breakfast was nice , I'm vegan so I have a limited option to what is offered, I'm sure if I asked they would have done something specific for me but I was happy with what I did have it was fresh and tasty and a tong or spoon for each on separate trays! Which is very important as other people don't always consider you don't want the bacon tongs for hash browns or mushrooms.. They have an amazing Vegan Caramel Choc Cake as a desert (not at breakfast) which you can not quite believe can be vegan which is also a treat as many places don't have any vegan deserts at all. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.. Wifi was definitely a little slow but not the end of the world. I did notice an amount of dust around the bed feet and from behind the bed. I've worked maintenance in various hotels and one thing they should all do at least once a year or every six months is get the beds out and completely clean behind as really can build up (not just aimed here) I know in some places the beds are heavy and not a job for one person, another pet hate of mine again is for the days prior to staying, this hotel was more than double the price I paid to stay, the whole demand pricing has got to a place that is unaffordable and inpractical for staying somewhere while working away form home, so if you didnt sell all your rooms the last three days then you missed out on my custom for a fair price plus what I spend at the resturant / bar .. again not directed solely here as they all do it but its just a shame cause I'll go somewhere else

• Michelle (8/5): Good in a pinch and the staff should be paid more for their service :) - I had to stay here due to an unexpected family emergency in a nearby hospital, the ladies who worked at the front desk definitely made my stay more comfortable. Their hospitality, kindness and attentiveness is something that made things a little easier. Free breakfast as well was very handy. There was quite a lot of noise from other guests, the insulation in the walls is not great to protect from this

The housekeeping staff knocked on my door way before check out time to tell us that she wanted to start cleaning and the breakfast staff were not friendly at all.

• Malini (8/5): Good value, nice staff - Clean, room was spacious enough for 2 adults and teenager. Surprisingly quiet in room given how busy the hotel was over the weekend. Location - easy to find. Very good value considering breakfast alarm included. Staff on reception, in bar and breakfast service were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunate that the hotel car park was not in use - but public car park is immediately next door and very reasonable overnight rate. Breakfast although basic was good, the coffee from the machine however was undrinkable.

Room was very small. Only one pillow on an uncomfortable sofa bed. Aircon was very noisy, we couldn’t turn it up or down, it just kept blowing.
