• Franck (7/5): Bon emplacement - Nous avons aimé la situation géographique, le roof top, la literie, les plantes qui ajoutent au charme Nous n'avons pas aimé le manque de lumière (la chambre est très sombre) et l'accueil inexistant, donc nous entrons avec des codes (et pas de clé) et quand ils ne marchent pas (ce qui a été notre cas), c'est galère si on n'a pas de data à l'étranger Le bar du roof top était fermé, pourquoi ? L'hôtel est situé en face d'un lieu d'animation de la ville donc certaines soirées/nuits étaient bruyantes Par ailleurs, nous avons oublié un objet de valeur (sans garantie que cela soit là-bas) et avons écrit à l'établissement et nous n'avons jamais eu de réponse.
• Olatz (7/5): - Muy buena ubicación, centrica y cerca de la playa. Habitación limpia, comoda y bien equipada. La parte de la piscina está algo descuidada. Además el espacio de la terraza no está bien aprovechada, tiene varios fuegos pero no se puede cocinar en ellas. Por otro lado, si se hace la reserva con desayuno incluido, tienes que desplazarte a otro hotel para ello, aunque te pagan el servicio de taxi.

La colazione, inclusa nel prezzo, era prevista nell'hotel gemellato (Villa Flamingo), uno dei 3 più belli di tutta Holbox. Se passate da qui vi consiglio vivamente questa struttura! Voto 10/10. Nulla

Très bon petit déjeuner avec une magnifique vue et un bon accueil des équipe du flamingo. À l’arrivée nous avons mis un peu de temps pour avoir les codes des chambres car il n’y avait personne sur place. Et pas d’info pour le petit déjeuner qui était inclus dans le prix payé. Il a fallu insister pour savoir où était servi le petit déjeuner

• Julia (10/5): Exceptional - Great location right in the centre of down town. All the best restaurants are within 2 minute walk, as is the beach! Markets and live music and dancing most nights in the plaza across the street, so you have the best view from the balcony. The music stops at midnight so it didn't interfere with sleep too much. The rooms are lovely, large, and comfortable, with great air-conditioning. The front desk staff guy was very friendly and helpful. For the location and the aesthetics of the hotel, the price is fantastic value.

• Ikram (8/5): Very nice, super clean and perfect location - The location is perfect, the personal very kind and helpful. The room is very clean and feels new. The only possible downside is the music from the bar above but personally we did not mind it at all and it stops at 23h.

• Morwenna (5/5): Lovely hotel, extremely noisy - Central location, spacious room and terrace, comfy bed and all the bathroom amenities you need. On our first night the bar on the roof (above our room) had very loud live music until midnight. The following two nights it turned out to be Carnaval which meant there was booming music in the plaza directly outside our room until 2am. The music was so loud the room was vibrating and there is no soundproofing. If we’d known this before, we would have stayed elsewhere.

• Andrei (9/5): Superb - The staff was friendly and kind (we asked to leave the luggage after the check out and they accepted; we had to pay some taxes but didnt had the exact amount and they were understanding and waited for us to come the next days, we asked for a room cleaning and it was done fast). In reality the property isnt so good looking like in the pictures but its comfortable and well maintained. The balcony is a really nice touch! And the view! Just when we arrived, a racoon visited us and we put an apple for him on the table, which he ate later on when he visited us again the other night 😁 On the rooftop they have a bar with a beautiful view and live music. The location is also good. In the area there are shops, restaurants and right in front of the hotel you can find taxi. We had a pleasant stay, nothing negative to say.

The restaurant next door was excellent very recommended. Nice staff, good internet. Well located close to the beach and the ferry station as well. The hotel is infront of the central park so it gets noisy at some point in the evening.
• trevor (4/5): - The live music is loud until midnight every night. The ECO TAX, which cost almost 300 USD, was unexpected and felt like a scam. The hotel MRG explained to me that we have to pay the tax. I didn't want to check out and find another place. I'm not going back to the Arena.

The gate that was supposed to be closed at 12am remained opened all night. The selling point of this hotel was the gorgeous views from the rooftop bar but sadly, without any details or explanation, it was closed.
• Iona (8/5): Beautiful tidy rooms - Beautiful rooms which were well air conditioned. The cleaner did a great job as Holbox is known for mud and sand!! There aren’t any staff based in the hotel to help you but you can contact them on whatsapp
• MARIE FRANCOISE (10/5): Bonne surprise à recommander ! - Très joli hôtel, décoré avec goût, équipements de la chambre au top, eau à disposition et lits confortables. L'hôtel est sur la rue principale mais sans le bruit de l'extérieur, restos à 2 pas et plage à 5 minutes. Personnel accueillant, chambre faite tous les jours ce qui ne nous a pas paru indispensable pour un séjour de 2 nuits. Super douche avec eau chaude pour les frileux. Roof top au dernier étage ouvert jusqu'à 23h au moins et ouvert au public donc n'espérez pas dormir avant.

• Anthony (3/5): Noisy Roof Bar - The accommodation is in a great central location. Cleaning staff were excellent. Nice rooms very clean with comfortable bed. Good wifi. The problem with this hotel is the Roof Bar which is open to the public. A loud speaker at the entrance blasts out loud music to beyond midnight. Those visiting and leaving the bar have to go past all of the guest rooms. There is live music most nights and it's incredibly noisy until at least 00.15 I would describe the place as a Roof Bar with a few letting rooms and not as a Hotel. There is no lobby or staff to meet and greet with all checking in instructions being issued digitally on the uploading at their request of a photo ID from the guest.

• Nitesh (8/5): Nice place in paradise - AMAZING location. Half way between the ferry terminal and the beach on the other side (Where all the tours often start from). The rooms are nice inside (Although lack of windows in my room for the option I chose). Wifi is FAST and stable. A/C is good. There is daily cleaning (With free water provided as part of the clean), the rooftop is also AMAZING! Lots of toiletries provided (toothbrush, q-tip, shaving blade) like back in the old days ;-) Would stay again. this new way of self-checking in everywhere - even hotels. Didn't see a single staff the entire time I was there. Loved Holbox, but Holbox has a massive flooding problem - every street is flooded with water and this sort of forces us to take Taxis eventhough we don't need to. There is a bar on the top floor and they play music from 6 or 7pm ,till later at night. Sometimes its good music, sometimes its loud 'bad' music.
• Frederique (4/5): Disappointing - Disappointing experience Poor customer service Disappointingd Experience - Poor Customer Service After having to reschedule our two reservations (two rooms for two nights) due to the hurricane in July, the hotel assured us we had six months to use our bookings. We reached out to them to book one room for two in the coming weeks and kindly asked if we could use the credit from the second paid room at their restaurant or beach club. They denied our request, but we still decided to book one room, planning to use the second room at a later date. Upon arrival at the hotel, the receptionist informed us that the two ground floor rooms were available and that we could choose the one we preferred. We asked if we could reserve the second room for the following week, and he said it was possible, but we needed to email the hotel. Once back in Cancun, we did exactly that. To our surprise, the reservation manager, Paola Diego, refused our request, claiming that both rooms had automatically been booked during our first stay. She falsely claimed that we had been notified by email (I asked her to forward that email, but of course, I received nothing) and that the receptionist had informed us (another lie, as we were never clearly told that both rooms had been booked). It's incredibly disappointing that after an otherwise pleasant stay, we were treated so poorly by the staff! Of all my bookings, this one stands out as having the worst customer service. Paola was unpleasant and provided no help whatsoever! We lost €230 in reservations, were accused of lying, and received no empathy from Paola Diego. I sincerely hope that the owner of the establishment takes this dreadful experience seriously and considers replacing the reception/reservations team to avoid losing more customers like us, who initially wanted to return!

• Xitlalit (4/5): - Aspectos de servicio al cliente: Se resalta que no tuvimos una recepción ni entrega de habitación como se debía, la plataforma indica que el servicio de recepción es de 9am a 5 pm, sin embargo, la plataforma te permite hacer reservaciones para ese mismo día después de las 5 pm lo que es algo incongruente según sus políticas de reservación. Llegamos al hotel y no había quien nos diera la habitación por lo que nos atendió el chico del bar, aunado a esto tuvimos un problema por la cantidad de personas que éramos (3 personas, para una habitación de 4 personas). El problema radicaba en que la habitación (de dos camas matrimoniales) solamente se había reservado para dos personas. Sin embargo, en la aplicación se hizo una reservación por habitación y no por personas, que fue justo el precio que se pagó (aprox 1250 pesos por una noche). La solución que nos daban era que teníamos que pagar por la persona adicional. Pero este no era el problema principal, sino que el precio de la persona adicional nos lo querían cobrar el 650 pesos, siendo que en las políticas del hotel el costo que se menciona es de 350 pesos por persona adicional ( por lo que nos querían cobrar el doble sin razón alguna). Cosa que fue de muy mal gusto En fin, nos terminaron haciendo un disque descuento por las molestias pero aún así terminamos pagando los 350 por la persona adicional, sino nos quedaríamos sin habitación. Pd: las habitaciones estaban limpias pero el trato y el servicio al cliente fue pesimo

We arrived earlier to the hotel but there's no chance to leave the luggage while we were waiting for check-in time. No assistance on site, communication only via messages.

• Felix (10/5): The place you should stay if you come to Holbox - The best hotel we stayed in Mexico. The room was big with a nice terrace, we had a good bathroom and the staff was nice with us. The location is why you should take the hotel : in the center center, 1 to 5 min from all bars, restaurants and shops, and 3 min by foot from the beach. This is where it's happening. More as a regret, the bar on the rooftop was closes during the time when we were there (for Christmas), so we couldn't try it. Also, the swimming pool is not really a pool. But with the beach that close, you don't need it.
• Sm (3/5): Great location but insect infestation - Great location, modern furnishing and the saving grace the man who cleaned the rooms. He was very helpful. There is an insect infestation in the wood in the wood panelled walls and got severely bitten. Unsure if this is just from the bugs in the wood or bed bugs. There was no one at reception to greet us and when the receptionist does come it’s very sporadic and she was not very accommodating. We requested late check out by 4 hours and she said this would cost 1000 pesos. Seems unreasonable given the availability here and the surrounding hotels. No fridge in the room. There is a steep flight of stairs to the hotel and this is difficult if you have luggage with you etc. When we were checking out there was no one around to help us take our bags down. The location is also very noisy.
• Yaprak (5/5): Passable - It was centrally located, room was good size and lady at the reception as well as the gentleman whom clean the room was very nice. It was very noisy.. restaurant workers at the next door early in the morning plays loud music and evenings there is a rooftop bar at the hotel which is also plays loud music. I love hearing music. But in the mornings we couldn’t sleep, neither early evenings be able to rest. Second thing we were told that we could use one of the beach clubs free of charge but when we got there that wasn’t the case. Hotel offered us designated area which I wouldn’t even leave my house pet. We have told reception, she said she will talk to the manager!!

• Vanessa (9/5): Everything we needed :) - Great location. We unfortunately had bad weather while we were there so didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely. The roads are very muddy and flooded so was good to be so central to have everything close by. We enjoyed the hotel, beds are comfy. I would stay again but in a suite next time to have more natural light and space in the room. The weather and rain was unfortunate for our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the island, nothing to do with the hotel obviously.

• Sini (5/5): Passable - Hotel was clean and nice, rooms was big etc. It was at the main street, lot of restaurants nearby and short walk to the beach. Definitely good hotel, but please read below why we didn't have a nice experience.. ROOF TERRACE AND POOL WAS NOT OPEN! We did not have any information before. Because there was some construction site, at morning we woke up for the noises and it wasn't nice. Also day time you could not spend time and take a nap. Also we were excited for the roof terrace to chill etc. We should have 4 nights there, but left after 2 nights and the hotel manager promised refund but we have not yet received the money back! We have been waiting over 2 weeks.... The hotel had arranged an alternative pool at another hotel, but it was a long walk (30min) and the hotel restaurant was expensive and there were no other restaurants nearby.

The service, due to personal problems we didn’t use the hotel services and asked for their help in order to get at least a partial refund. All the replies were extremely robotic and didn’t even do anything in the plataform as it shows here that we stayed there (which is not true). I just waited for a little bit more of “empathy” in actually replying my message and trying to help us (if possible, of course). Even a message explaining that you couldn’t refund would be better. In the end I’m glad we didn’t stayed over there because that’s not the type of place we would like to support.

Location perfect, walk distance to ferry and to the beach. there was option to pay by card what was big plus Unfortunately, we had really bad memories from this stay. we were there 4 days and for 3 days we did not have water in the bathroom (we suppose that it was due to a construction going on on the rooftop)After several queries with receptionist, she agreed that indeed there is problem with the water but she is not able to help and tell, when it will be resolved. She did not give us any alternatives. For us it was nightmare - there were 30 degrease, and sand was everywhere as we were on the island, after sunbathing and swimming it was really unpreasant not be able to take shower. If we knew ealier for sure we would choose another accomodation.

• Kathrin (7/5): Good - - location - nice furniture - streaming TV - when we arrived there was a construction going on and something fell down from the ceiling in the lobby - as a compensation for the construction we got a Beach club access to another hotel which was very far and didn’t serve to the beds - the worst was the shower! The drain and the water pressure were really bad and there was also a bad smell 😖 - the wood in the back of the bed made noises probably some bugs enjoying the wood🤣
• Mattia (7/5): Three days in Holbox - Cozy Hotel in the centre of the town, right close to everything you need. The staff was nice and helpful. The building was under maintenance and for the whole time of my stay there I heard trouble coming from upstairs. Prices too high for what it offers.

There is a beautiful rooftop and it’s the best located property with a beautiful balcony view on the center downtown. The only downfall is that the pool was closed during our stay due to hotel renovations; however, the staff was incredibly accommodating and we were able to spend the days at their sister hotel right on the beach! I would happily stay at this location again.

• Sasa (8/5): Well located and very kind staff - The hotel is super cozy and very well located. I liked the roof top bar because there was a DJ playing on Saturday night and live music on Sunday night The pillow is not comfortable (the only thing I didn’t like)

• Lewis (8/5): Very good - Lovely location right in the town centre. 10m walk to the beach and 10m walk to the ferry port. Well decorated rooms. No staff member present for check in as it was after 9pm. Frequent power cuts.
• Sofiya (6/5): Beautiful hotel, great location. Electricity/WiFi needs work. - Comfortable, spacious room. The hotel is very beautiful. I liked that you entered your room with a keypad code so you didn’t need to log around a physical key. 1. The current went at least 3 times we were there 2. WiFi was very poor 3. The check in process was very weird. Someone took us to our rooms, after we had to find help. And then 10 minutes later someone came knocking on my door, with a card machine, telling me I have to pay. That’s no problem, I just thought the whole process was awkward. And then the next morning we had a formal check in process at the downstairs lobby. I think that could have been organized more smoothly.

• André (2/5): Stay if you want some nightmare and headache - Location only. The acoutics is horrible. You hear everything from any room and mostly from the bar. Every step or chair is like a furniture being moved on your head. We’ve never experienced nothing like this. 3 nights, 3 nights without sleeping, with sounds at evening, dawn and morning. There is no reception after 6 pm. The Whatsapp number they leave, never answered. In the end we asked the staff to stay 20 more minutes from the checkout at 11 am (we were leaving 11:20). They denied very rudly. Pool: it was very dirty with loads of dead insects through the whole day. The room is very very basic.
• Harri (10/5): - Siisti, viihtyisä, pieni hotelli keskellä kylää. Parvekkeelta sai seurata pääkadun elämää ja esiintymisareenan tansseja. Kaikki lähellä. Ystävällinen rouva receptionissa. Miinusta sijainnin vuoksi äänet. Ei hiljaista, mutta yöllä kuitenkin rauhallista. Suosittelen.
• Anonymous (8/5): Overall excellent hotel and really enjoyed our stay. - Clean, well presented property in a great location. Small detail but Wi-Fi was temperamental and friend paid a deposit for beach towel which she was unable to get back despite asking before we left - this was because receptionist was not around but stated she had handed over to a colleague.
• Mario (8/5): - Pros: Location, staff service at bar is top and the layout of the hotel, really recommend the suite, very spacious. Cons: Early noise by staff like cleaning public areas, maintenance, recommend doing those after 9 or 10 am. Check out at 11AM is crazy, had to leave the room even though I had to depart the island until 1PM. Other than that, recommend the place.

• Marco (8/5): Nice location but noisy - Nice hotel right in the centre of the island - room was nice and clean. We had a little kitchen too although not very well equipped noisy location due to its position, kitchen not very well equipped but does the job. Roads are not paved so lot of dust everywhere, but that is not hotel fault!! the room was indeed very clean

• Emma (9/5): We had a really good time in Holbox and I can recommend this hotel. - The location was super and it was nice interior. It was nice with a roof bar and pool. The cleaner was really really nice and helpful. The check-in was a bit confusing because there was no one in the reception, but it worked out in the end. Otherwise I have nothing to complain about.
• Valeria (7/5): amazing bed, loud surroundings - The bed!! It was huge and comfortable, the best bed we have ever slept into. The room had a beautiful vibe and was clean. We heard and saw loads of beautiful birds at sunrise outside our balcony. The view of the balcony on the main square and the position is perfect to reach both the ferry and the main beach. The lady at the check in was very kind. The furniture is lovely, plenty of plants and the rooftop is cute, with a small pool to enjoy a cocktail. We asked to kindly keep our luggage until 3:30. No one was physically in the hotel when we got there! Our ferry was at 4pm and, after I contacted them, someone arrived around 3:52. It was free of charge and they were very quick to answer the phone, but we would have loved to know that 3:30 was not possible for them since the beginning. Also the room was facing the main big square, you could hear very loud music until late at night and at 7am. We slept in anyways as we were exhausted, but someone else could have trouble with it. Could do with soundproof windows.
• Pavel (7/5): Good - Very nice hotel, very modern. Comfortable beds. Location super central, a bit noisy (there was just a carnival, you could hear everything from the street). On the roof of the hotel there is a swimming pool and a bar where you can also eat. The hotel does not offer breakfast, which is a real shame. The rooftop pool is fine but there are no sunbeds just chairs so quite uncomfortable. You can only swim in the pool until 5pm before the bar/restaurant opens. We were choosing a hotel with a pool where we could relax, if we had known this we would not have gone here. In the end the pool is pretty useless :-).
• Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Awesome location, great and very clean room, and such a nice stuff. If we are coming back we would definitely be here again.
• CAROLINA (4/5): - Es bonito pero ten en cuenta que hay que subir muchas escaleras con maletas y nadie que ayude. Área ruidosa desde temprano, no están orientados al servicio al cliente y encima de todo estuvimos por largos periodos sin agua y sin un plan B para ayudarnos a solventar.

• Lawrence (8/5): Very good - Great location in the centre of town. Basic accommodations but clean, newer and amenities we needed for what we paid. Comfortable beds, nice roof top patio. Hard to find someone to check us in. Not the hotels fault, but no running water for a few hours in the morning when we woke up.
• NEFIE (10/5): - it's super well located and beautiful decoration. Easy check- in on arrival and was extremely helpful and nice staff. Highly recommend!
• Miguel (10/5): - Super clean boutique hotel. Center of the town.
• Karola (4/5): - If you like sleep - stay somewhere else. There is a rooftop bar and the music is so loud it was like trying to go to sleep at a rave. Party people walked up and down to the roof and we could hear it all. Then in the morning the boutique next door played super loud music at 8 am. So we had very poor sleep every night. It was stressful. The place itself it’s pleasing but the noise level is a complete dealbreaker for us. And btw - we were staying in the back of building where it was more “quiet”.
