- Nikolay (6/5): - Очень люблю этот отель и приезжаю сюда уже не первый раз. Но, к сожалению, в этот раз возникло несколько неприятных моментов. Главный 50-метровый бассейн почему-то перестали охлаждать, и вода была слишком тёплой для полноценных тренировок. Приходилось несколько раз обращаться к персоналу по этому поводу. Также сломалась машина для льда. Несколько раз утром льда не было совсем, хотя для тренировочного процесса он очень необходим. Надеюсь, что эти моменты исправят, потому что в остальном отель по-прежнему оставляет очень приятное впечатление.

- van Loo-Born (4/5): Wannabe sports hotel - overpriced - The 50 pools are great It is essentially a wannabe "La Santa". Sports facilities are ok but not great. The sports offering is suboptimal, infrequent. The bike shop does not really help with rentals, repairs, routes or anything that a "bike shop" should do. The pools are not very clean. All three of us ended up with ear infections (I have never had one before). The rooms are low value for money (for a third more, you can stay at the JW Marriott down the road). There is a real chaos with trying to get towels or gym access (they take your room key to give you a towel so you cannot get into the room as long as you have a towel for the pool or access to the gym). The food is very expensive and it is the only thing you have access to. The location is horrible (far away from anything, so without a car you are completely lost). They are VERY stuck in their ways, not flexible when it comes to bookings. I booked for almost 3 weeks and they would let me move days in the last week. The rooms are fairly clean but the bathrooms get nasty after a while.

- Cristina (8/5): Overall I am looking forward to visit Thanyapura again - It’s very inspiring to swim with professional young swimmers next to you. Also I enjoyed to have a weekly schedule where you can choose among many different activities. The staff at the reception is always very helpful and kind to assist you with anything. Muay Thai has a very small area to practice and when I was there the class was always fully booked I am a solo traveler I wish they Had package for single person and not for a room for 2 . Breakfast is also very good but if you stay there few weeks , the menu is often chicken, eggs , chicken sausage , chicken salad

- Cordula (10/5): Traumurlaub mit Training - Wir waren im Thanyapura um es zu testen. Ich bin selber Triathlon Trainerin und wollte wissen ob es gut wäre mal mit einer Trainingsgruppe hinzukommen. Die Sportstätten sind super und sauber (trotzdem müssten mal ein Fliesen in den Pools repariert werden, damit Thanyapura so schön bleibt. Die Trainer sind super vor allem Samik, der excellente Yogastunden gibt. Und Stefan der mich mit Funktionell Movement sehr überzeugt hat. Das Frühstück war extrem gut und war eher ein Brunch. Zimmer sehr sauber und geräumig und die grundsätzlich die Ruhe in der Nacht. Wir werden wiederkommen! Was ich fast vergessen hätte: man bekommt im gesamten Resort kostenlos Trinkwasser!!! Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Mitarbeiterinnen im Wellness, wir hatten 3 x eine Thaimassage. Es war sensationell gut, vielen Dank! Die Handtücher und auch die Bettwäsche haben zum Teil schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Zwar sauber gewaschen aber mit Blutflecken oder ausgefranst, das würde ich abstellen damit ein makelloser Eindruck bleibt. Auch der Lärm am späteren Abend im der Pool Wing war unangenehm. Während die Sportler schlafen wollen, schreien schrill und extrem! laut Kinder die ins Bett gehören noch um 23 Uhr herum. Ebenso waren einige Eltern in der geschlossenen Poolbar bis 3 Uhr morgens viel zu laut. Es ist ein Sportresort und man sollte die Regeln einhalten. Dafür wäre das Personal an der Rezeption (Nachtdienst) eigentlich zuständig.

Could have had more, especially free tennis classes. Could have had more classes late morning / early afternoon. - Price of food onsite is very high by Thai standards. I would say New York prices for dinner. You don’t have many food options offsite (a couple of nice neighboring restaurants) so just budget for its - the resort itself is 100% safe. The area around the resort is safe but the only area I would walk around the resort is out of Gate 1 to the neighboring restaurants. Gate 3 and the north/east side of the resort are peaceful and Google Maps will show you a walking path but DONT go there due to many territorial and dangerous dogs. - cleaners very loud in the morning in the garden wing and would try to enter my room before 9am

- Andrew (9/5): Great facilities. - The staff was very helpful. The 25 m and 50 m pools were nice to swim in. I enjoyed using the voucher for a free body composition assessment. The water pressure in the shower was too low.
- Susan (6/5): Choose to keep your sports routine on holiday , not for anything else - The sports facilities are good but definitely aging since I first came here 10 years ago. Some things run down Not much has been upgraded any time recently. But if you like your sports routines then it’s a good option. Everything is expensive and you are fairly isolated from getting to close shops or street stalls. You’ll need to pay for transport etc to get supplies or go out. Food quality is excellent in the cafe and restaurant but still very expensive for what it is . Hotel staff is amazing but group classes and coaches are not world class as would be expected - Mostly come across as disinterested and going through the motions and I would question their experience or qualifications compared to the high performance world. Bring your own coach for camps if you come to train seriously.

- Blunt (8/5): Overall a great stay for some good training and relaxing mixed into one. I will definitely come back - The sports facilities and classes are excellent. Excellent value for money with the sports facilities and classes included. The location is also good in that it is near to the airport, however not near a beach and other facilities/amenities. It would have been better if there was a shop that had more stock/options for basic essentials, considering there are no shops nearby.

- Saraf Anika (8/5): Good stay! - It’s a quaint property with a lot of activity and facilities. They had group workouts classes available during the day and is a true sports resort. The clinic on property is also nice. They have washing machines available for laundry. Room service till a certain hour. Wish spa and in room dining was available till longer as the resort is secluded from the city amenities. Staff are nice Wish the toilets were nicer (They were clean but basic). The breakfast option did not taste nice. Spa slots were not readily available. A lot of people stay there to be near UWC, wish there was a shuttle to the school from here. You need a car if you want to go to other parts of Phuket from there, grab not easily available.

- Jose Ignacio (9/5): - Great experience with kids to enjoy sports an a relaxed few days. Well organized and with many options. The food in the main restaurant was really good. Seems a simple menu of Thai and International dishes, but everything we tried was very well made. Seems there are not good restaurants around the property, only at least 20 min by car from the hotel. Still the food at the resort's restaurant was quite good.

- Kamil (6/5): Sports facilities are impressive, certain aspects of service and communication could be improved. - The facility offers an excellent environment for focusing on sports activities, supported by the guidance and expertise of qualified staff. The 50-meter swimming pool is a particular highlight and greatly enhances the training experience. During my stay, I was informed that I would be charged 200 baht for a dirty face cloth found in my room. This cloth had previously been used for bike cleaning near the bike rental area, and I used it for the same purpose. I explained the situation and suggested that housekeeping could verify the towel count in the room. Despite this, an investigation was conducted, and at checkout, my deposit was deducted. While the amount was minor, the experience left me disappointed. Additionally, some facilities, such as the running track and gym, are accessible 24 hours, although they are sometimes unattended. It is also worth noting that only instant coffee is included with breakfast; espresso-based options require an additional charge.

- OnAir30469784332 (10/5): Pro Tennis Coaches - The best part of my stay was getting coached by tennis coach Ludo from New Caledonia! He is exactly why I visited Thanyapura. Dipped into Phuket for girls’ weekend and tennis lessons to improve my technique. He was so efficient, expert, encouraging and knew exactly what I needed to avoid bad habits later on. Super positive experience and will visit again. And all the coaches are friendly and have sense of humor. Thank you very much Ludo! I will be back.

- Yehiel (5/5): Passable - Sports hotel is a great idea, This hotel has impressive sports facilities. 1. Reservation was made for 3 adults and a child for their biggest suite. Entering the room, we see two single beds... they tell us we need to add THB1,000 per night per bed... but I made the reservation for 4 people!! 2. At the time of booking we were not made aware that during our stay in this hotel, they have a swimming contest, and that neither the pools nor the swimming instructors will be available...and this was the main reason we came. Then we ended up only booking one swimming training on our check out date, it started late and then it was cancelled half way through due to thunderstorm, and they wanted to charge us for the whole session. The location is in the middle of nowhere. We did not get to see the beautiful Phuket...
