Everything was clean and we were in a great location. The hotel had everything we needed for our stay too. We didn’t have time to use the sauna but went to the restaurant and the honest bar/lounge. I wish there was a gym! That’s my only complaint.

Kurzer Weg zur Männlichenbahn. Zweckmässiger Skiraum. Ausgezeichnete Küche. Man spürt, dass das Haus schon ein paar Mal an- und umgebaut worden ist. Table napkins beim Frühstück waren zerschlissen und löchrig. This fact is not corresponding with the high standard of the hotel. Unverständlich, dass eine nachträgliche Buchung von Halbpension nicht möglich war.

It is enjoying the sun all day and indeed a “nice corner” as the the name says. Very comfortable, beautiful and typical Swiss restaurant with contemporary menu with friendly and helpful staff. Swiss hospitality at its best! Nothing to mention here

Dies war hier nicht der Fall, einfach top. Einziges "Manko" war der grosse Zimmerschlüssel, bzw. der Anhänger. Schlüsselkarten wären um einiges handlicher und praktischer.

- Cee (10/5): Every person from check in to restaurant was very hospitable & pleasant; wonderful stay; great room! - We missed most of first day breakfast since we had a long 22 hour travel day; however the hostess was very nice to offer us breakfast in the last fifteen min before closing. The next day we were able to enjoy a full breakfast buffet which was wonderful with the view and pleasant service always.

Location very central and close to shops, restaurants, PO, church, and Männlichen cable car station; rail station and Co-op five minutes away. Room and balcony had breathtaking mountain views - unfortunately these disappeared for five out of seven days with persistent cloud, but particularly beautiful with sunset glow in the evenings. Everything spotlessly clean; nice modern bathroom; decent-sized shower; good internet. Lovely welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent, generous and varied breakfast ... a real treat to have smoked salmon every morning! Nothing really ... but a small fridge in the room might have been useful to keep drinks chilled ...

- Sandra (9/5): A beautiful mountain view in a lovely town - The staff were really nice and helped with information about the area and various hiking trails. We had a shared terrace (room #4) with a mountain view and table and chairs. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the train station and very close to the cable car station to Mannlichen. Breakfast was good with eggs made to order or French toast in addition to the buffet. There was a long narrow shelf above the sink area in the bathroom which was handy for putting things on, so I had a place to set my toiletries down while getting ready. Wengen is much more peaceful and less crowded than Lauterbrunnen while still having shops, restaurants and a bank. Nothing

Excellent breakfast, with cooked foods, and a fresh orange squeezer for juice! Nice balcony with view. 12 pm checkout, was perfect. I would have perhaps liked a kettle, and some tea, coffee, in the room. They did provide things in a downstairs lounge, but I prefer it in room.

- JAEJUN (10/5): - Staff was lovely and kind. Breakfast - I could clearly feel that they put in a lot of effort and not 100 sure, but cutlery and teapot was silverware. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very lovely with beautiful view. I loved very much with the cosy room with perfect view. It was a lovely hotel and gifted me a romantic time in Wengen. Toilet was pretty small and the shower- you can control the height but I didn't understand how to change the direction of it. In general, Swiss plug is quite hard to get used to. They had 3 plugs outlet, but I could only use one at a time with the international plug converter and I had to prop the converter with some objects.

- Alexander (9/5): Amazing hotel in a quaint, beautiful town - The hotel is in a great location and has an amazing view. Dinner at the restaurant was great and the staff was very friendly. The rooms could get warm (no air conditioning) and the hot breakfast options weren’t very good.
- Homa (8/5): Fascinating mountain views - Fascinating mountain views, good breakfast with a nice mountain view restaurant, helping with transferring the luggage from the hotel to the train station. They did an early check-in which was really helpful given our little one was so tired. The third bed in our bedroom had a broken frame, the room was quite small, the bathroom had no ventilation, no dishes were provided when we asked, just needed a bowl to wash and serve some fruit for our little one.

I arrived at 8pm but I had the key ready with a welcome message and instructions. I liked that the room had a painting of the old train station and the hallway had 19th century furniture! And old pictures of Wengen in the hallways. Snacks and drinks in the lobby. I liked that I received a mini Gipfelwiiss in the room, which is a chocolate bar in the shape of the 4 snow-capped peaks (Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and Silberhorn) and is produced in Wengen at the Vincenz Bäckerei - Konditorei on the main street. a minibar/fridge would be good in the future

Le restaurant est également d’une très grande qualité avec possibilité de déjeuner/dîner sur la magnifique terrasse. Très bon petit déjeuner également. Cependant, il vieillit, et quelques détails de la chambre nécessitent d’être revus : stores très sales et impossibles à manipuler nous même, bonde de la baignoire cassée (impossible de remplir la baignoire), produits de toilettes de mauvaise qualité (par rapport à qq années), d’ailleurs pas de gel douche dans la douche (uniquement du shampoing). Lit d’appoint enfant limite au niveau matelas, et notre lit à nous qui grinçait vraiment énormément….

The hotel sauna was very nice and great spot to recover after a hike. The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor terrace for dinner as well as a charming indoor section where we had an excellent breakfast each morning. The hotel is only about a 4 min walk from train station and right in the center of town. The shower was a little small.

- Jocelyn (9/5): Magical location and home away from home with best breakfast imaginable - The most incredible hotel in perfect wengen location, magic inside, the breakfast alone is worth staying here for (included!). The rooms weren't modern per se but charming and everything we needed- the view sublime. Booking.com and the property need to better communicate charges.

- John (10/5): A very homely hotel - Loved the cooked options for breakfast (might have overdosed on fried eggs, but then I am British.....) Room cleanliness exceptional and all staff super friendly and helpful. Easy walk to station, local trails & viewpoints, cable car and shops.
- JESSICA (10/5): Nice family suite in great Wengen location - Comfortable and great location. Friendly staff. Absolutely unbelievable view of the Eiger from the balcony. Rooms were small.
- Samantha Wei (9/5): Wonderful four nights stay with great mountain view and unbeatable location - The property locates 3 mins walk from Wengen station, it took us no time to get there even with four big suitcases. Very close to kids playground and town play facilities. It is a more rusty style, but well furnished hotel especially the bathroom is new, clean and logically designed. Everything is very convenient, breakfast is all you need and very tasty. Very close to all hiking trails and we could do a small trial (3-4km) to Lauterhorn before breakfast! It is the first time we tried 3* with our little one, but this one does not disappoint at all! We stayed at fourth floor and the lift only reaches third floor. Our room didn’t have a balcony (due to room type we pick), it is not hotel’s fault but we would love to have a balcony which has the unbeatable view of Jungfaujoch.

- Des (10/5): - Great little gem hotel. Amazing views and walking options. Sauna was a bonus. Rooms were a bit hot and initially I had no idea they had a joint drinks fridge available 24/7.
