• NICOLAS (10/5): Situation idéale pour découvrir la ville - L'hôtel est situé à 4mn à pied du métro qui vient de l'aéroport (ligne rouge). Il faut grimper (c'est Lisbonne) mais c'est un excellent spot pour visiter les alentours. Le personnel est très sympa, nous avons été upgradé dans une chambre plus grande. Le petit dej est correct, vous trouverez d'autres restaurants/breakfast à 2mn à pied sinon. Pour aller à Sintra, la gare ferroviaire est à 5mn en contre-bas.

The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. I also loved the charming atmosphere of the hotel it felt elegant, relaxing, and uniquely Lisbon. Everything about the stay exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon! The only downside was that I wish I could have stayed longer!

• Anita (8/5): Lissabon ist eine wunderschöne Stadt mit feinem Essen und lieben Menschen😊 - Super Lage, alles in der Nähe und zu Fuss erreichbar und trotzdem ruhig. Tolle Aussicht auf die Burg. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet und auch der Kaffee😊👍🏼 Betten bequem und Zimmer sehr sauber. Es wird eine Frühstücksbox angeboten wenn man vor 7.30 aus dem Haus muss. Leider hat es bei uns nicht geklappt aber das kann passieren. Wenig Ablagefläche va im Bad. Es benötigt mehr Haken um etwas aufzuhängen und eine zweite Kofferablage wäre ideal, da es im kleinen Schrank keinen Platz für Kleider hat.
• Karina (9/5): Good hotel, renovated about 1 year ago. The room was not very big but space was enough for 2 people - Staff was very kind, Recommended me a good place to see Portuguese Fado. When we arrived it was early, but the room was ready, so we've got it immedeately. The windows/ french balcony doors were to the main street and I thought it may be noisy, but in fact I didn't hear anything after closing window doors. The location was fantastic! Just opposit the Carmelits monastery ruins. The invoice that I asked was not given as promised with luggage, but after claim via email - I received it later on.

I received a tasty welcoming gift and the free water was great. The shower has a very small head so you get less flow of water but I enjoyed the bubble baths. Some liquid soap would be best.

• Anne-Sophie (9/5): Very friendly and welcoming check in staff and beautifully decorated room - Location was perfect for us : central Lisbon as we only had a few hours to spend the day after our arrival. It was not noisy (which we had feared because of comments online). The hotel kindly upgraded us to a room on top, which was great as we had lovely views and heard little from the busy streets below. The breakfast was ok, though we didn't get to speak to any of the staff. We waited to be seated and as nobody came to see us, we chose a table. It wasn't clear if we should just help ourselves but once we realised that was the case it was fine.

• Steven (8/5): Dit was mijn tweede keer in dit hotel, maar het zal ook de laatste keer zijn. - Dit hotel is heel goed gelegen. Ontbijt is niet langer buiten mogelijk , wat vroeger wel het geval was. De kamers hebben extreem weinig opbergruimte. Hoewel wij hadden aangegeven om de lakens en de handdoeken te vervangen was dit één keer heel duidelijk niet gebeurd.

• Sibylle (7/5): Tolle Lage, freundliches Personal, enttäuschendes Zimmer zu hohem Preis - Tolle Lage, sehr nettes Personal. Möblierung nicht zeitgemäss und nicht ansprechend, Zimmer sehr eng und schlauchförmig, winziges Fenster, aber verstellt durch Schreibtisch. Schranktüren lassen sich nur einseitig öffnen, da Nachttisch davor steht. Vorhang verdunkelt zu wenig, wie man den Vorhang auch zieht, es gibt immer einen Spalt, durch den die Sonne scheint. Badewanne nicht zeitgemäß, Armaturen unpraktisch: Bei Lavabo seitlich, Händewaschen nicht möglich, ohne dass man alles nass spritzt. Temperatur an Dusche schwer einstellbar (eine Art Joystick). Alles in allem: kein Deluxzimmer. Wir hatten zwar den Ausblick auf die Burg, aber sonst stimmt Preis-Leistung leider gar nicht. Wir waren vor 10 Jahren schon mal im Carmo Hotel und fanden es damals toll. Diesmal leider enttäuschend.

La habitación no contaba con cortinas black out, por ende por la mañana ni bien salía el sol entraba demasiada luz a la habitación. Sin embargo todas las otras comodidades hacían de esto algo mínimo.
