Guest Reviews
- Susan (10/5): - Older property but the owner was on site and very kind and the room was very clean
- Justin (10/5): Affordable, clean and friendly - Clean and friendly, can’t ask for anything more.
- Sandra (10/5): - I liked it because it was right in downtown, close to shops and restaurants.
- Louise (8/5): - Everything looked clean; enough parking space. Eatery and convenient stores were close by.
- Rebecca (10/5): Quiet and a comfortable bed - Older motel, but it was clean, big TV, and the bed was super comfortable.
- Mary (10/5): - Very cute inside. Staff explained shower. And was accommodating with our large vehicle. Cause we will leave early. Could use a coffee maker. But WTH it was just what I needed after driving 2 days when our camper broke. Thank you.
- Tom (4/5): - Room was over priced at 127$ for an old dirty room with unclean towels and bed linen. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone except if you plan on using it for drinking or partying.
- Yusuke (10/5): - The deco inside had a touch that was different than the typical expectations of a travel lodge. It was more classy that what I expected in the inside.
- Donald or Marsha (10/5): - Don't usually stay at small, older motels but this was a great choice for a quiet, clean, night's sleep. Quite comfortable. I'll stay again next trip.
- Robin (10/5): - Staff was friendly and courteous. It was clean and safe. It was in good shape for an older property,
- Janet (10/5): - Very close to downtown area, so walkable to dining options. Room was clean, front desk was super nice, and would stay here again. Very good for the price.
- Sook (10/5): - It was super clean
- David (10/5): Overnight stay - Perfect for an overnight stay. Property was safe and quiet, fast and friendly check in.
- Amanda (10/5): Great motel to stay in Farmington - A nice place to stay in Farmington within a few minutes walk of the shops. Comfortable bed, and the room was clean. Would recommend.
- Justine (8/5): - It's fine. Funky in a good way. My complaint is it's so very bare bones. Towels thin and scratchy, yucky comforter, thin tp. Other than that, it was good. Good area at the edge of downtown. Totally fine for 1 night.
- Mian (6/5): - Nice older place. Still needs some updates.
- Breanna (8/5): - The sheets smelled strongly like a man's cologne.
- Gregg (8/5): - Good clean accommodations for the price. Close to downtown dining. No in room coffee. Would stay here again.
- Erin (8/5): - No frills but perfect for a quick work trip. Clean, friendly, and comfortable! Well worth the price compared to what other hotels in the area are charging.
- Paula (4/5): - There was leftover food in the refrigerator. There were only two towels and one washcloth when the room was reserved for two guests. Bathroom door won’t shut. No batteries in tv remote. Cut my thumb on door frame as I opened the door.
- Hugues (2/5): - Run down and dirty
- Onycha (10/5): - Clean and easy
- Rebecca (10/5): - We were looking for a budget hotel, and we were very pleased with our stay at the Economy Inn. We felt safe there, and our room was clean and comfortable. We ended up staying two nights. This definitely will be our go-to place when visiting the area. My only suggestion would be to improve on the quality of soap and shampoo, but we brought our own.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A good place to stay the night. Nothing fancy.
- Richard (6/5): - Good value
- Dave (4/5): - The room was clean and the ac was cold, the water hot. Quiet enough. Host hides behind a locked door and conducts check in through a window. The listing doesn’t tell you that they provide no ice at all nor are there coffee makers in the room and none available for guests on the property. The location is convenient to food and fuel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Best place to stay in Farmington! - Wonderful, highly recommend. Great price and great stay, which is rare to find these days. A/C was strong, very clean, place was quiet, TV worked well, shower was hot, bed was comfy. Owners were very friendly. Wi-Fi worked well. Area seemed safe for me and my car. No complaints!
- Ronald (10/5): - May 31 2024. Family owned and run one story brick motel. Clean and well kept up. Friendly staff. My room had TV with over 100 channels. Quiet and efficient AC. Good water pressure. No street noise. No next door neighbor noise. Price was very right. Very satisfied. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
- Judy (8/5): Good value. - Clean, quiet & reasonably comfortable. It was a good value for a holiday weekend.
- Susan (8/5): Pleasant surprise - I was very happy with this no frills, basic room. Very clean and friendly service. Had a fridge, microwave, and great AC. Only thing missing was a coffee maker. Building is old but rooms have been nicely refreshed and I loved the laminate wood flooring.
- T6931DFlisal (10/5): Great hotel, clean and comfortable room - Any time economy is in a name, and it was a 2 star establishment, you dont expect much, but we were just staying one night and cheap was the way we wanted to go, and the place had good reviews. I am very impressed with our stay. Check in was quick and staff friendly. Room looks like it may be dated, but really, its more funky and retro and smelled clean, great water pressure, hot water and a decently comfortable bed. Throw in a microwave, fridge, cable and wifi and we feel this place is a pleasant surprise and deserving of the good reviews.
- Brian (10/5): - The staff was really great here and the rooms were very clean as well. Would have liked more options for walking to food and drinks, but it was a Sunday and alot of places were closed
- Ray (4/5): Way Overpriced! - This is a very old hotel, which most of the time we enjoy staying at, that said, the owners seem to try to keep the place up and clean. My real problem with them is that we paid $99 for the night and had to ask for an extra face cloth and hand towel. One would think that for a room for two there would have been 2 types of each. No tissues for the bathroom and single ply TP. I would call this a no frills motel as you get the bare minimum of everything. The faucet in the bathroom besides taking 5 minutes to get hot water, the hot and cold were reversed. Also, again with the $99....no breakfast. The night before we spent $80 and got a hot breakfast. They might thing about dropping the price per night to maybe $60, that would be a little more reasonable for what they are offering.
- Lindajo (10/5): My oops! - The owner/manager was very helpful despite an issue of my making. The room was extremely comfortable/clean and the bed was excellent. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
- Joseph (4/5): - The owner was rude and unwelcoming. Dude needs to upgrade his router or don't advertise free wifi
- Racheal (6/5): - Property run down with minimal amenities. Clogged shower drain. Small room with minimal space to move around. Freezer has defrosted so had to deal with mopping up water under and around the refrigerator.
- BRENDA (8/5): - Nice for a quick overnight stay.
- Bobbi (10/5): - The neighborhood was a little scary
- Paul (8/5): - It was old and little
- KENNETH (6/5): - Basically it’s a “get what you pay for” motel. Just the basics which was ok.
- Janelle (10/5): - 😁
- Cory S (10/5): Two Day Stay / Get a way - Stayed for two days
My room was #27
Heater worked well
Loved the wood floor
TV was mounted on the wall in clear view
Cable was fine too
Bed was ok but I think one side was a little off balance. Water temp was awesome and shower head was great.
Bring your own shower soap and shampoo. It is available but in little pouches. Over all the stay was great. I’ll be back…
- Timothy (10/5): Very nice place, great price. - I also stay here when I'm on Farmington. The owners are always friendly, and they take care of this very old property better than you might expect. Always clean and comfortable.
- Tsaimei (8/5): Basic hotel - It was a basic & functional housing. We enjoyed touring the surrounding.
- Charles (10/5): - Friendly staff.
- debi1998 (10/5): Great budget hotel - We stayed one night while in town for work. This is a decent budget motel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, everything worked and it was quiet. The rooms have a mini fridge & microwave. Great location near downtown & stores.
Good room for the price.
- marisa (2/5): - Ugly dirty
- Mason (10/5): - Best hotel I have been in, in Farmington
- Bradley (10/5): - Late June 2023. Well kept but older property with a very kind staff. I'm a low maintenance traveler but considering price and location, anyone should be pleased. I would definitely stay again.
- Kyle (4/5): - Great location, nice place, great price, and the interior of the room is nicer than the exterior, but the air conditioner was so loud when it turned on and off that it kept waking me up at night. Additionally there were these popping sounds periodically that were also very loud. Perhaps thermal expansion/shrinking of the building as it was cooling off at night? Those noises legitimately ruined my sleep and had me wishing I brought a sound machine to try to mask it. Fortunately I was only there one night. Not sure if this was particular to the room I stayed in or if other rooms would have the same thing, but geesh was it rough.
- CLIFFORD (8/5): - Staff was helpful and kind.
- Ehrinn (8/5): Decent stay - It was decent for a motel, very nice host, clean room, but the WiFi was so weak we either couldn't connect or couldn't do anything if we did.
- Dawn (6/5): - Location to quaint town and restaurants was convenient.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Perfectly fine. - Pretty clean, pretty quiet, great location and decent price. WIll go back for a basic room.
- Marcia (10/5): - .
- Michele (10/5): - Clean hotel room
Needs updating in the rooms . The shower was worn and needed a new head on the shower its self! The shower will beat you to death! I didnt realize the shortage of towels until it was late! All We had was two bath towels one hand towel and one wash cloth.
- Paulette (10/5): Remembered - The owners of the place took the time to help me with the heater and they remembered me from the last time I stayed there which made me feel nice and they welcomed me back always good to be remembered
- Racheal (4/5): - Room wasn’t very clean. I pulled out disinfectant wipes because I didn’t want to touch the surfaces. I ended up cleaning quite a but of surfaces and the wipes came back dirty. Blanket between bed cover and sheets looked too dirty to sleep under so I removed it.
- Eddy (8/5): - Clean , good location and good price. Staff is friendly
- Douglas (8/5): - No Wi-Fi!
- Libo (8/5): - The floor was freezing. The shower pressure was good though. The beds shifted and hit the headboards a bunch and the door was overall a bit hard to close.
- Eva (4/5): As basic of a room as you can get - This motel is a pretty good price, but it is probably the most spartan room I have ever stayed in. There were no hangers in the closet area, no coffee maker, the tiniest soap and shampoo, and thinnest toilet paper. I would definitely look for someplace with some sort of amenities. This place was clean, but that is about all I can say positive about it.
- BNoelani (10/5): - low cost, efficient checkin
property ok
farmington not my favorite city
- Verified traveler (6/5): - While room was clean, the lamp was without a light bulb, the door lock did not work, and microwave was broken. I also did not feel safe in this location.
- Donna (4/5): - Worst bed I have ever had at a hotel. Very lumpy and saggy.
- John (6/5): - Ok place for a decent price.
- Bradley (10/5): Great stay - Service was exceptional. Room was kitschy cool and the location was perfect for enjoying downtown.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean room without any bad smell - I stayed one night and liked their non-smoking room. It is very clean without any bad smell. The bed is comfortable enough for one quick stay. The water pressure is strong and the water temperature is hot. The air conditioner worked well.
- Cindy (10/5): - Super friendly staff and clean place to stay.
- John (8/5): - Room was clean, but really small....
- Patrick (10/5): Close to downtown. - I needed to be in town for one night. This location was perfect for walking down to the historic downtown area.
- Maria (10/5): - Great location near downtown; super clean quiet
- Michael (10/5): - All good. Great area, too.
- Michael (10/5): - Prompt friendly service. A block from rejuvenated Historic Downtown with its restaurants, brewery, cafes and shops.
- Paul (8/5): -
- Paul (10/5): - Shower was awesome
- Bruce (10/5): - Clean, convenient, and cheap. Loved it!
- Rodney (6/5): - There is no breakfast or coffee or ice. I would not stay there again.
- Timothy (10/5): Very nice rooms, and budget friendly! - The room was neat, clean, and in good condition. Breeding was on very good condition and not worn out tattered. Towels were clean and not thread-bare or too small. Owners are very polite and pleasant people, and it is always a pleasant stay in their motel!
- Leighana (10/5): - Very clean and the owners are so friendly and sweet
- Jeffrey (8/5): - Clean and adequate
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay, nice & cozy
- Rashid (6/5): - Everything is just okay.
- Ezekiel (10/5): Simply wonderful - Wonderfully friendly owners. Super cute neighborhood. Great water pressure for baths.
- Epifanio (4/5): 2 star - I would never stay again the bed was so uncomfortable. Not updated. I rate it 2 star because good shower pressure and flooring was decent. Sketchy surroundings
- Kaylynn (10/5): - Really clean. Good for a quick rest 🙂
- Torey (10/5): - Was a great stay for a great price.
- Phil (10/5): Excellent, if Older Motel - I'll echo what others have said. This is an older hotel, but it's in excellent condition, and you can tell the owners are doing a great deal to keep it in very good shape. My room was spotless, up to date, very well kept. The staff at the front counter was also very friendly. I will definitely stay here again if returning.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Stuck in Farmington turns into a blessing - The owners of this inn are attentive and responsive to needs throughout my stay. I encountered automobile difficulties and they directed me to a local mechanic who provided fast and immediately effective service. The thin toilet paper is extremely economical yet still effective😂 The room was clean with the owners themselves managing housekeeping duties. This was an extremely safe and honest establishment. Remarkably, located right next door to the revitalized historic downtown and a half mile walk to a gorgeous trail along the river. I had time to rest and reorient before returning to my cross country trip.
- Timothy (10/5): Good room, good rate, good deal! - This is a very old motel, but the current owners are working to upgrade the rooms and amenities, and doing a nice job. Friendly, clean, convenient to downtown, which is full of interesting shops and great dining options. Quiet room, cable TV and good heat/ac units.
- Shane (2/5): - This place really needs to be rennovated.
- ronald (8/5): - Nice place for the money. Decent fridge/microwave/TV service and WIFI, but no ice maker. Nice diner just a block away with good breakfast, other dining options just a few blocks down Main street, which is a pleasant walk and looks recently renovated.
- James (8/5): Excellent stay - This was my second stay at this location. The hotel is an older hotel, but at that, it was comfortable enough for my one night stay. The room was clean, the heater worked as did the TV. The staff has always been friendly, even when I checked in at 3:00 AM. I was grateful for the front desk being available 24 hours.
- Hahnabah (10/5): - I like the well lit area. I didn't like the bathroom walls were not neat paint was coming off.
- MILANA CECILIA (10/5): - Very clean and confortable room for a fair price. Friendly staff.
- Thomas (6/5): My stay - The room was clean and quiet!
- Gwenyth (10/5): One of best motel stays I've had. - I was greeted by a very friendly person at desk despite my late arrival. Had everything I needed. Breakfast was so amazing I took time to savor it. Wish all my motel stays were this welcoming and easy!
- Freddy (8/5): Heading to Chama NM - Arrived late . Last minute booking. No ice available .sleep well & very nice counter person
- Michelle L (10/5): - Clean, safe, quiet.
- Armand (4/5): Cost cutting to the extreme - This would have been a good place to stay if they provided water that was more than luke warm, toilet paper that was more than single ply, a coffee maker in the room, or coffee in the lobby, decent internet service, hand soap more than 1 inch long and bath towels bigger than hand towels. Signs of extreme cost-cutting were everywhere, except the cost per night.
