Guest Reviews
- philip (8/5): Good location - The room was a good size and clean the bed was a good sleep.
Looking forward to my trip next year.
- Nicola (8/5): Nice - Nice hotel, managed to check in early so that was good, be aware parking can be a nightmare & very expensive but overall a lovely hotel & Weymouth is a great place to go 😊
- Jean (2/5): - Not much to like at all its a scam.the first thing was it was not the room i booked and payed for 😡!!
- Ian (6/5): - Never stopped at a hotel that has no front of house everything is done online.
The room was reasonably clean and tidy but this is due to it only being serviced on change over days. We was there 4 nights and nobody came to see if everything was ok. You don't go on holiday to watch TV but this wasn't working but was partially sorted out during the stay.
The view was to die for so this made up for other short falls.
- Lesley (2/5): - Negligent - property needs periodically to be checked and thoroughly cleaned.
Carpet in hallway/stairs stained and not hoovered. Hallway carpet loose & bunched up in the middle (could cause accidents).
'Self-cleaning' kitchen not checked/cleaned for ages. The waffle/pancake maker was covered in dust & grease. I went out for breakfast in the end.
Bedroom: Carpet in same condition, kept stepping on hard bits on floor.. Cups for coffee/tea making cracked each time hot water from the kettle was poured in. Contact via Whatsapp apologised and suggested to take a cup from the kitchen (I was going to do that anyway). After the 2nd cup cracked, I bought a mug to use. Why weren't these cups checked beforehand? Bed sheet stained at the foot end of the bed nearest the door (found on the final day, thank goodness I did not sleep this end). Very disappointed & angry.
- Diane (10/5): - I had an enjoyable stay
- Susanne (8/5): - Had a pleasant stay at the Warwick. Room was ensuite and had everything I needed. Location is great, right by beach, town centre and bus stops nearby.
- Nigel (10/5): Great weekend break. - Had a lovely 3 day weekend break at the Warwick. Self check-in was easy and £5 a day for parking was excellent although finding a space took a bit of time. Location was 10/10. Vinod was very responsive to messages and answered any questions we had before the stay. Would definitely book to stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved our stay! - We loved our stay at The Warwick. The location was superb and the room really lovely.
I actually much preffered the self check-in to traditional check-in when someone is there at a reception. It meant we could get there at any time in the evening and didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone. We followed the hosts instructions which were extremely clear and got to our room quickly.
We got the Seaview room and it was really lovely. The view to the sea was exceptional and the room was tastefully decorated, clean and comfy. It was very helpful having a lounge and a well stocked up kitchen (dishwasher, plates, cutlery, cling film etc).
Initially I was worried about parking as we had a large vehicle and we knew we'd get there late so chances of getting a permit were slim, however the Pavillion car park is so close that it didn't make any difference in the end.
The location was excellent, really close to everything, the beach, the arcade, restaurants, pubs. We couldn't have found a better place!
The price was extremely reasonable as well, considering properties on the same stretch went for double what we paid.
I would 10/10 recommend!
- Barbara (8/5): - Didn’t get the room that Expedia advertised but the next best one. Self check in was explained well. Parking permit is £5 a day plus £100 deposit on room charge. Great location and friendly staff. Vinod who runs the guest house is very friendly.
- Trevor (10/5): - The owner of the guest house was very helpful and courteous.
- Denise (10/5): Lovely stay - Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable, the only mistake i made not the hotel was i booked a room on the 3rd floor, with my wacky knees theres alot of steps.the hotel is in a perfect position to enjoy Weymouth, the correspondence from the owners was brilliant. I would certainly recommend.
- brian (2/5): - THERE WAS NO BREAKFAST NO STAFF TO MAKE THE BEDS AND IT COST ME 575 POUNDS THE OWNER WAS NEVERTHERE ANDTHE PLACE IS A COMPLETE SHAMBLES
- Helen (10/5): 3 Days R&R - Lovely guest house in a superb position for the beach and harbour. This is operated remotely so there are no services such as room cleaning or breakfast. There is use of the kitchen if needed and tea, coffee etc. are provided in the bedroom.
There are beach views from the front of the property and harbour from the back. The owner is very responsive to messages and self check in was easy.
- Mark (8/5): - Lovely views of the harbour
- Jenna (8/5): Long solo weekend - Although it was an odd experience going away during a pandemic I had a lovely time ☺️
I was given a parking pass as soon as I arrived, my case taken to my room and a chat about the “rules” during a pandemic. The room was very clean, great sea view from my single room windows, comfy bed - of the facilities I was able to use - no complaints.
Would definitely return for another stay. Thank you.
- Mike (8/5): - Nice location clean and tidy no breakfast due to Covid restrictions
- Steve (10/5): - Lovely place to stay for a short break in Weymouth. Friendly staff and great location for the harbour area.
- Ashraf (10/5): fantastic seaside view - It was amazing with fantastic view from the seaside room
- Paul (10/5): reat Weymouth - The stay was great. A warm welcome was given by Julie at the Warwick Guest House. The weather was good as was the food and drink service we received wherever we went. Looking a visiting again when possible.
