- nacyu (2/5): AVOID! - The room is ok but noisy. The area is UNSAFE. the food is expensive and HORRIBLE. the spa is full of cockroaches is extremely expensive. 2 people for 6000 DA!!!!!!!!!! FOR A HAMMAM! A RIP OFF. OVOID.

The staff was quite helpful and friendly.The only thing that was not good was that they didn’t have AC so kinda hot and humid and also their Wifi works for a day or two then it logs you out and you have to ask again for new login which is quite frustrating . I guess still they are renovating so let’s see if things get better.

- Nasreddine (8/5): - Good location at the entrance of a busy and main street of Fort de l'Eau that used to be a very attractive and touristic village. The room is very spacious and clean with a superb front sea view. The front sea is at few steps from the hotel. A plenty of restaurants that serve delicious fresh fish make this area unique. We really enjoyed our short stay in this hotel and I would recommend it for traveling visitors from and to abroad. If offered, a shuttle to and from the international airport would've been a plus for this hotel.

- darren19732015 (6/5): Algiers - Great two bedroom apartment and paid around £240 for 5 nights including standard continental breakfast (with lots of sweet pastries!). Location is a 45 minute tram ride/underground to the Casbah/Algiers centre but the stop is literally across the road from the hotel. The beach is 100m away along with a supermarket. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful but there are no maps available of the area. For a map, visit one of the 5* hotels like the Sofia. There is a free airport shuttle car on request (15 minute journey). For drinkers, there is no alcohol in the hotel but there is a bar within 5 minutes walk that is popular with locals - Mediterranean Restaurant (it's called a restaurant - and does sell food - but it's basically a bar).

- ndujatuttalavita (6/5): not so bad accordingly with Algerian standard - I used more than one time this hotel which is located in a block of Alger so-called Bordj El-Kiffan, not dramatically far from the City downtown. the accomodation is quite expensive but if booked in advance might be aligned with same hotel's category. room was clean and enough big for my expectation. nothing really special, just an other option to try if Bordj El-Kiffan is handy enough for business needs.

- 619dano (6/5): Modern hotel far outside Alger centre - Palace Appart hotel is in Bordj El Kiffan about 15 km outside Alger Centre, 60 min by tram and metro. Hotel is right next to the tram stop Bordj El Kiffan Lycceè. A taxi will take 30-60 min depending on the level of congestion. The hotel is in a modern building close to the Mediterranean and a small beach. There are some shops, cafes and street restaurant but not much more to see. Room was clean and modern had a fridge, coffee/tea amenities, safe and small desk. Bed was not very comfortable but did the job. Breakfast was included. Bread, yoghurt, cereal, fruit, eggs and sweet bread. Quality ok. The evening restaurant was also a good option, especially since there is not much too choose from in the area if you want a sit-down restaurant. Negatives First of all - the hotel is way outside Alger city. Wi-Fi is included but slow and keeps logging out all the time. Street noise and sounds from the corridor. Staff is friendly but not very attentive. I had to get my room key renewed every day and my bed light was never fixed during my stay (the light bulb was missing so it was kind of a basic problem).

TRAM / TAXI availablilty within 100 metres. hospitality is good, the hotel employees are happy to help with you. everyday maintenance, daily 2 lt. water bottle complementary rooms with kitchen. morning breakfast is complementary at First Floor. Ground floor contains Mini GYM with one Threadmill Cons : Kitchen utensils are not good. For Veg lovers, there is no much preference for Vegetarian people. Getting Electric Shock in the Kitchen Electric Stove. No Swimming Pool.

- G.Schmitt (8/5): Funktionales Hotel in einer Vorstadt in Starandnäh - Das Hotel liegt in einer Vorstadt von Algiers, unweit des Flughafens (ca 15 min Fahrt). Die Tramway hält direkt hinter dem Haus. Mehrere Fast-Food Läden befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe und auch der Strand ist in weniger als 3 Minuten erreicht. Das Hotel selbst ist modern, und für ein 3 Sterne-Haus relativ gut ausgestattet. Frühstück ist in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Peu mieux faire - Très grande chambre: j'ai obtenu un surclassement car ma réservation avait été perdue et que l'hôtel était presque complet. Vue sur la mer et la baie d'Alger. Petit-déjeuner riche en patisseries mais pauvre en fruits frais (seulement des oranges, tous les jours pendant 6 jours). Il y a une machine à jus d'orange au bar mais c'est du jus en bouteille qui est servi... Pas d'omelette chaude (ou alors le serveur aurait dû me le proposer). Très mauvais accès internet par Wi-Fi: le wi-fi ne fonctionne pas toujours, et quand il fonctionne, l'accès Internet est très lent voire inopérant, en particulier le soir. Le paiement par carte de crédit n'était pas possible, du moins lors de mon départ. Restaurant trop cher. Un soir, seul un buffer était disponible, impossible de commander à la carte. Or, le buffet était trop cher (22€) pour le nombre de plats offerts (2 sortes de poulets, du riz pas assez cuit, 1 seul plat de légumes, des salades, seulement une salade de fruits comme dessert).
- JH (10/5): Nice hotel on all levels - Calm, professional, and serene. In a nice location, away from the hectic nature of downtown Algiers. The staff is extremely discreet, courteous & reliable. Extremely clean.

Possibilité de se promener sur le long de mer à quelques centaines de mètres, agréable. En revanche, le prix payé sur le site hotel.com est bien plus onéreux que si j'avais pu faire la résa en direct et payé en DA sur place. Hotel.com est bien heureux de s'être fait une bonne marge sur cette action.

- malik0770 (8/5): Lovely hotel - Palace Hotel is really a very good place. I've been in many times for business trips and every time it gives you the certitude that people there are trying their best to make improvements and your stay comfortable. Very clean modern rooms, free internet, LED TV with satellite channels, very friendly staff and very nice restaurant is all what you need to distress after long hours of hard labor. By its location (close to the airport + transportion) , you can get very easily to many places like ARDIS, BAB EZOUAR and CITY CENTER Shopping Centers where you can enjoy shopping from luxurious shops and having lunch/diner in very nice large scope of restaurants/fast foods. A must I would say.
- Andreas (8/5): - Was only able to get WiFi for one single device (I have a mobile phone and a laptop), and the reception refused to give me a connection to both. The hotel is right at an intersection that was very noisy that night (cars honking horns, firecrackers - there might have been some footbal win or similar). Bed, A/C and Bathroom were ok. It is a very local lower-class neighborhood, and quite a drive to city center, but a short distance to a beach. ok if you're a local person with family who wants to visit the local family beach , but wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a business visitor.

- Punit29 (6/5): Seems safe, decent locality, friendly staff, bad veg breakfast - I was on a 3 day business trip and booked this place as it looked decent and close to my convention. The Senior apartment is spacious (I was travelling alone) with 2 rooms and a bathroom. The service is slow but people are friendly. The corridors look shady, but I guess they are safe! The breakfast for vegetarians was bad, as you are forced to have just bread and cereal. Considering the price it was not worth it. At nights I would avoid getting down as it got very empty on the streets, partly due to the cold weather.

Except for excessive street sounds, and a far from top notch internal sound proofing I have no complaints. - inan97 (8/5): Standart - Hotel is an avarage 3 star hotel in european norms. But this matter is important when you are in Alger. Hotel is nearly 50 meters to tramway stop. This is an important matter if you are in Algers for fair. Fair complex has a tramway stop nearby. So do not pay so much money for other hotels which offers you fair-hotel transport. Tramway tickets are very cheap. There is only 3 good restaurant alternatives near hotel. A syrian food rest, a good chicken fast food rest, and a little pizza shop. Please do not try the rests just opposite the hotel. A had a nightmare because of those 2 fast food shops. There is Wi-fi, but not constant. There is a kettle and fresh tea , nescafe in rooms. One big bottle of water is given every day. There is a refrigeraor in the room. I did not need to open AC for all night, but it was working good. Hotel crew knows english and they are smiling generally. Breakfast is not so rich. There are only few options. TV, you can watch only euronews and bbc in english. Others are all in arabic and french. Bed is good, but they changed the bed covers for only one time even we spend 9 nights. Mosque and wedding seramonies nearby are negative affects on silence, but i was not so disturbed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean and comfortable - Clean and comfortable, breakfast buffet a bit too basic - we didnt bother with the restaurant. Next to the tram and always had taxis waiting across the road so it was easy to get into Algiers. Bank with a western union downstairs.
- h_samettins (8/5): CLEAN, SUITABEL FOR EXHIBITION AREA - This hoteş is clean, and in good location for exhibition area and airport. Staff is good. Room are clean and not small. Breakfeast is not very good, thre is no cheese, olive and meat. Hotel price is resonable comparing Algeria. You can find shish kebap restorans 2 stop from hotel by tram.
- Alli (8/5): Close to the airport with lots of traffic noise - Rooms were excellent but lots of noise to sleep. A great room for exercising. Close to the airport with amenities. Recommended overall for quality and price.
- HassenDelektaM (8/5): I will come back! - I was in Palace Appart Hotel last december while a business trip, staff is very professional particularly Hamza. The hotel is bite far from city center but it is not a big deal as all facilities are close by, metro and taxi station. The hotel is in 2 minutes feet from the beach which is very convenient for relaxing moment after a difficult negotiation day. Room are very clean, functional and nice design, the hotel well deserved its 3 stars hotel from a European perspective. Breakfast was great but the restaurant disappointed me. I will come back! - HansCB (8/5): Nice and good value but far from city center - If you don't want to pay the crazy Algiers hotel rates (you easily pay 250 Euro/night for a mediocre quality), and if you don't mind the 30-45 minutes travel to the city center by taxi or the nearby modern tram system, this is a good alternative. Modern hotel, spacious rooms, wifi (albeit unstable and sometimes slow but hey, this is Algeria), OK breakfast for a french speaking country and VERY clean. In a lively neighbourhood with real Algerian life going on (schools, mosques, shops). Steps away from the sea (not a great beach but a nice boulevard for a stroll). Very quiet at night so maybe not for women travelling alone. But... it's not close to the center.
- Salvo_KANGOO (10/5): great stay - we booked this hotel for the pics of the rooms and we loved the choice came here for two nights in january in a suite. room was very clean and modern they also offered us a small plater of fruit. the reception is very effeciant and speaks different languages and helps you in all your needs from taxi to travelling the city or nation. the hotel has a private parking with security and wifi restaurant has fresh fish and good service only thing to upgrade is the breakfast area. we will surely come back for another visit a big hi from salvo and melissa reccomended

- andreaVerona (6/5): Only for 1 night hotel - Try to find some other place to stay in Algier. The hotel is far away from the city centre. Surely has no right to be fixed at the level of 4 stars. The service at the reception is very good and friendly. A very poor breakfest in the very sad area. Check exactly your invoice of the restaurant service to avoid some "additional" supplements. A very small fitness centre.
- Arlingtonian2011 (6/5): Not exciting but not bad either. - Spent a number of days at this hotel in June. It is important to keep in mind that as a whole, the tourism industry in Algeria and the customer-centered service are still developing, therefore one cannot expect or judge the hotels or restaurants with the same strict criteria employed elsewhere, especially when it comes to local businesses (i.e., not part of an international chain) such as this one. This hotel is new and clean and the rooms are spacious. The furniture style and color is old fashioned and there are no amenities such as club level, high quality toiletries or well appointed gym (there is one but is really small with few equipment; jogging outside, especially for women, might be frowned upon) but there is well-functioning a/c, complimentary water and some rooms also have kitchenettes. The internet works whimsically but I was never able to understand if this was an Algiers-wide problem or a hotel specific issue. The hotel is situated close to the airport which is helpful because traffic in Algiers is unbearable. Of course, if you must be in the center of the city, this location is not helpful at all. The hotel restaurant offers quite decent food and there is always the beach to take a walk (not really scenic though). Hotel staff speak English passably and some not at all. Despite the fact that the country is bilingual many also do not speak French anymore. So, those who are not fluent in Arabic might find it difficult to communicate not only at the hotel but also in taxis, museums, etc.
- Nas (10/5): Excellent hotel in the airport neighborhood - Very nice hotel and it met all our expectations. Located close to the airport, this 3 star hotel has all features including impeccable cleanliness, personal warmness and quietness. The local food was excellent. I recommend this hotel for individuals and families.
