- Luca (10/5): - This Ryokan is conveniently located a few steps away from the Senso-Ji temple in Asakusa. The area is full of nice place to eat and you can get anywhere in Tokyo quite easily via the Asakusa station (including the airports). The room was very clean, nice and quiet, overlooking the temple and the Tokyo tower. We met different members of the staff and all were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this ryokan.

One of the best parts of the location was walking out to senso ji in the night and early in the morning and having it almost all to myself to enjoy and explore. What a delightful ryokan and wonderful experience all around!

- 341255805ba372c2d2ebbc5bad5d4dbc (9/5): Durch und durch äusserst zufrieden! Ein wirklich tolles Hotel! - Alles aller erstes möchte ich die Lage beurteilen. Das Hotel war super gelegen. Es stand direkt vor dem Donnertor. Zusätzlich waren mehrere U-Bahn-Stationen nahe zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir hatten auch sehr viele gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Nun zum Personal. Es war überaus höflich, begrüsste uns immer sehr zuvorkommend und hat immer sofort geholfen wenn wir irgendwelche Fragen hatten. Das Zimmer war extrem gross und wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Aussicht auf den Tokyo Skytree. Auch war es super ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Einen kleinen Punkt Abzug gibt es für die Lüftung. Es ist Motzen auf einem sehr hohen Niveau aber sie war uns ein wenig zu laut und wir haben nicht herausgefunden, wie wir sie ausschalten konnten.

The room was absolutely beautiful; clean and well designed and the location was very central as well. Also, despite being in a busy area, the room seemed to be soundproof and noise from outside was not an issue. The hotel was right next to Senso-ji Temple, which I enjoyed because it gave us a chance to see the temple grounds lit up at night but it is also very busy during the day so keep that in mind if large crowds aren't your thing.

Mais ce jour là, c’était un petit déjeuner japonais banal avec des portions rikiki pas terribles. Pour 4180¥ quand même. Et il faut réserver à l’avance quand même.

The location was right over the Kaminarimon Gate and next to the shops and restaurants. I had a view of the SkyTree building from my window. I'm not sure, but I don't think they had any exercise room. I was there just for 2 nights, so I never checked.

You see the Sensoji grounds or I should say you are living inside them! The location is right at the busy heart of Asakusa, but as you enter the hotel you cross the threshold of calm. The room was immaculate and quiet, with all the amenities you want without any pretension. The hotel staff were incredibly solicitous and kind, and they even discovered it was my birthday, wrote me a card, and gave me a box of chocolates. So thoughtful!

I recommend taking advantage of the location and waking up early one morning to go and visit Senso-Ji temple while very few other visitors are there. It’s totally worth it. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby which is convenient. It’s also close to Asakusa metro station making it easy to discover other areas of Tokyo. The rooms are gorgeous with a traditional feel and very clean. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I felt very safe during my whole stay. Definitely would come back and stay at Kaminarimon Ryokan if I’m back in Tokyo!

- Mathieu (10/5): Superbe expérience au sein d'un établissement de qualité dans quartier charmant. - L'emplacement est idéal dans le quartier d'Asakusa, proche du Senso-ji, à côté de la Kaminarimon et à deux pas de galeries marchandes ainsi que de divers restaurants. Si vous appréciez les établissements de type "ryokan" avec tout le confort occidental, cet hôtel est fait pour vous. Vous pouvez même opter pour un futon ou un lit normal. Navré, mais je ne trouve pas de points négatifs qui justifieraient d'être mentionnés.

- Lorena (10/5): Maravilloso lugar. - El lugar es precioso estilo japonés, muy espacioso, con muchos detalles de ornamentación local. Si bien hay hoteles más baratos, no son con la estética, el espacio y la sensación de estar en un hogar japonés. Todo el personal fue muy amable, incluso un Sr hablaba español muy bien. Aprovechamos de probar un desayuno estilo japonés, donde se nota la preocupación en cada plato. La zona del baño separado, de la amplia zona de tina grande y hermosa. Volveríamos? Absolutamente! Además muy bien ubicado a pasos de la estación de metro y de una de las atracciones turísticas más famosas!!! A pesar de que se podría suponer que era ruidoso, para nada, está perfectamente aislada la habitación y con una hermosa vista al skytree. Esto es solo un tema nuestro occidental, y no tener la costumbre de usar la cama y las sillas bajas, nos complicaba un poco, pero eso tiene que ver con nosotros y no con el lugar.
