- Theis (10/5): God lejlighed i centrum - Fin vel fungerende lejlighed i centrum af byen, 2 minutters gang fra Grossmarket. Hyggelig og dejlig by.
- Bastiaan (8/5): - Fijne locatie in het gezellige centrum van Mechelen. 10 minuten lopen van station Mechelen Nekkerspoel. Het Penthouse is ruim. Eenvoudige inrichting. Goed bed, ruime douche. Prima uitvalsbasis om Mechelen, Brussel en Antwerpen te bezoeken.
- Sten (10/5): - This property looks just like the pictures - modern and clean. It is located in the heart of the city - next to cafes, restaurants, stores and a short walk to the train. We used Vixx as a base while we traveled and explored Belgium. The city also had nice pubs and cafes that we really enjoyed!

Cleanliness: bathroom sink blocked by hair, hairs on floor, dirty mark on side table. Wear and tear: toilet roll loose, coffee stains on sofa, door paint scratches. On the positive side, the location is great, decor is nice and the automated check-in/out works well.

- Julie (10/5): - We had a great stay. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The location was excellent. We loved the breakfast with freshly cooked bacon and eggs. The staff were always so friendly. Only downsides were the sofa bed my daughter slept on was not comfortable and when we showered, the water went everywhere on the floor as there was no glass or curtain to the shower.

The atmosphere and location of The Vixx Hotel was excellent, only a short walk to the Old City Square, shops and great restaurants.

It should be described more as serviced apartments than a hotel though as there isn't always reception service. Therefore if there are any snags it can take a while to resolve. Breakfast is fine, cleanliness was ok though not so great under furniture etc... Very central for amenities but there is a building site next door where work starts early and the balcony overlooks this.

- Sarah (8/5): Zeer aangenaam verblijf - Mooi ingerichte, ruime kamer met eigen keukentje en grote badkamer. Zeer proper en vriendelijk personeel. Mogelijkheid tot ontbijt op de kamer of in de voorziene ruimte. Lekker ontbijt, maar ik miste wel wat donker brood, een bijzonder stukje kaas, bio producten, .... Het was allemaal wat weinig gedurfd en van de klassieke merken. Ze vragen wel op voorhand of je eitjes wilt en hoe je ze graag wilt, dat was een meerwaarde! Privé parking van hotel mogelijk.
- Marcel (10/5): Comfort en luxe in Mechelen - We hadden de beschikking over het penthouse voor een goede prijs. De vertrekken zijn aangenaam ingericht en bieden veel ruimte en comfort. Er is een keuken, een aparte woonkamer met televisie en een ruime slaapkamer met eveneens een televisie en een bad. Het omvat verschillende balkons met dakterras. De bediening is persoonlijk en vriendelijk. Het uitzicht is prima hoewel er nog wat panden in de omgeving een opknapbeurt nodig hebben. Al met al is het een uitstekend vertrekpunt om Mechelen te leren kennen.

- PhysEd (8/5): Very smart hotel in a soon to be smart location - Spacious, smart and modern rooms with mood lighting, flat panel TVs, huge bathroom and comfy bed. Boutique style decor and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is a very cosy affair with only a handful of tables, but plenty of choice available as well as things like Actimel on offer. Out the front of the hotel is currently a bit of a building site, but give it time and (as the reception staff will show you) the street outside the front door will be a very smart and desirable part of the town.

Perfect location in quiet street two minutes walk from the main square, shops and restaurants. Secure covered parking across the street. Would definately stay there again if we return to Mechelen.
- Jen (10/5): Lovely Hotel - we'll be back! - Tucked away in the peaceful town of Mechelen, this is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. A little fiddly to find at first in the dark, but easy once you know how! If driving, best to drive straight to the hotel, as you need to obtain the entry code for the secure garage. We travelled with our two kids aged 10 and 6, and there was ample space in this very comfortable room. Beds were super comfy. The suite was larger than our first home! Breakfast can be taken in your room, or in the little breakfast room. Breakfast was fairly basic but a reasonable amount of choice for everyone, and a cooked breakfast was freshly made to order. We hope to return to this hotel again and would happily recommend it. It was clean, fresh, comfortable and had friendly staff. As there is everything you need in the hotel room, you can be as self contained as you like. The room had thoughtful touches such as English plug sockets alongside contintental sockets, and the fride had small complimentary bottles of water, cola and beer. This is the quietest hotel we have ever stayed in, no street noise at all, so peaceful sleeps all round. Mechelen is a lovely place to visit, with lots of bars/restaurants/sites just around the corner. Try and visit the cathedral (5 mins from hotel), and climb the stairs to the top of the bell tower - absolutely fantastic! We will be returning, as we'd like to explore more of this pretty town.
