- Karolina (10/5): Beautiful place - The place is beautiful, so green and tranquil, far away from busy streets. The breakfast aren’t the best. Very limited choice. There is a pray house close to the property, so you can hear very clearly the call for prayer early morning.
- Meimei (10/5): We love the hotel! - A beautiful place, very spacious and comfortable. A koi pond was right in front of our room. Love it! Breakfasts has very little choices and very basic

- michelle (9/5): It was our second stay - looking forward to a third. - We loved everything. A small fridge in our room would have helped in the battle against ants.
- Christian (10/5): We had a good stay and would like to come back. - Very nice and helpful staff. Big room/bathroom and good bed. Good breakfast. Lovely garden. Everything was good
- michelle (9/5): A peaceful haven. - It is quiet, clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. A fridge in our room would have been great. The decorative pond water system outside our room did not seem to be working. The grandbabes were worried about the fish!
- Heidi (8/5): I’ll be back! - The garden! And very quiet neighborhood.
Staff exellent. I was in a room upstairs near the pool.
The (sometimes wet) stairs were a challenge for me. I. Should have asked for another room downstairs.

- Hermann (9/5): Schöne kleine Hotelanlage mit sehr freundlichem Personal und guter/ruhiger Lage - Großzügiges Zimmer & Bad.
Schöner Pool Dusche mit sehr wenig Wasserdruck & wenig Wasser.
- David (10/5): Nice Hotel. Good spot. Lovely area. - Really nice hotel. Calm + serene away from the madness. Lots of fishponds, waterfalls + 2 swimming pools. Many restaurants nearby. Breakfast OK. Rooms comfortable. We find this hotel to be lovely. Nothing.
- Sally (9/5): - The rooms are lovely, cool and very spacious. The gardens and pool are peaceful and tranquil and we wished we'd had longer. Nothing
- Samir (10/5): - L’hôtel est super sympa

- Loïs (8/5): Prima voor een nacht. - Locatie!!
- Helen (9/5): We enjoyed our time here, it’s a great base for Yogyakarta and the wider area. - A great location on a small side street close to some bars and restaurants. Lovely garden and pool to cool off in. Good, plentiful breakfast and friendly helpful staff. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and the bathroom too. I would recommend a stay here. Please note there is a mosque next door, it didn’t bother us but ear plugs might be a good idea.

- Justyna (9/5): Beautiful, comfortable stay in a great location - This is a lovely property split across two parts on either side of the street. My room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful - they even assisted with carrying my luggage.
There was a kettle and fridge in the room, which was convenient, though no safety deposit box.
I didn’t get the chance to use the pool, but it looked very inviting. Overall, a great location and a pleasant stay! One minor downside: there weren’t enough electrical outlets in the room, so I had to charge my phone in the bathroom.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barb (10/5): Exceptional - A perfect setting in a middle of the city. Peaceful gardens around the room with koi ponds and amazing vegetation. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Nil
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (8/5): Lovely hotel in beautiful landscaping environment - The landscape of the grounds. The waterfall and ponds were beautiful The bedside tables had a layer of dust that wasn’t cleaned even before or during our stay. Floor also needed a good clean.
- Ralf (10/5): Luxury, green and quiet oasis in the middle of Yogya - Large, comfortable rooms in a lush garden with a great pool. Everything is well maintained. Nice breakfast with very helpful and friendly staff. Quiet located but in walking distance to bars and restaurants. Nothing, all was good.
- Laura (10/5): Lovely little paradise - Lovely little paradise. We loved so much that we extended our stay. The hotel is beautiful. The beds are very confortable. There's not hot water but it wasn't an issue for us. It's very relaxing to stay there and they helped us booking all the excursions. We would definitely come back.
- Damian (10/5): - Lovely quiet location, very helpful and friendly staff and great value for money
- Froukje (8/5): Very good - Nice garden with pool. Interesting neighborhood. Go find via via travel agency and restaurant. Nice tours and good food Breakfast was basic.
- Gilberto (9/5): The garden is a dream - The garden Bathrooms clean but need renovation
- Ludivine (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel was very nice and peaceful, rooms were surrounded by nature with garden with a lot of plans and some waterfalls with very relaxing sound.
The Room was clean and cozy.
Staff was very helpful.
Hotel is well located with nice restaurants around. Water pressure a bit low.
- Gergely (10/5): Perfect little hotel to explore Jogja - Nice garden, perfect pool, excellent location, small and friendly hotel. Do not be fooled by the 2 star rating, this hotel is much better than that. Absolutely recommended! All was great.
- Melany (9/5): Relaxing and enjoyable. - Roomy villa, beautiful garden and pool. Good location.
- Kelly (9/5): Beautiful place to stay - We loved the gardens, the pool and how clean the room was. Also, great balcony. I would probably say, a little too bright in the morning but that just a personal preference.
And lack of sockets.
- Kristiina (7/5): Good - Outside area was nice and the swimmingpool. Quiet area. Balcony of the room was nice and big. Location was a bit far away. Room was old and not so clean. Sometimes we had language barrier with the staff.
- Veronica (9/5): Superb -
- Emre (9/5): Quite and well designed hotel, recommended - Very good garden and landscape.
Quite and friendly hotel near to the center.
Both good for the families and couples.
Definitely recommended. Bathrooms are clean however may need some restoration in the future
- Jayne (10/5): Super Duta Resort love 😚 - Everything about this resort is excellent My room was perfect and very comfortable and clean The staff were very helpful with anything I required All shops and restaurants were in close vicinity A really nice area to stay Nothing everything was great
- Mireille (9/5): Beautiful garden and pool setting, close enough to Jogja sites - Beautiful garden and pool setting, well maintained and close to a street of restaurants and tour guides Bathroom is outdated, no bar and restaurant which is a pity !
- Tomasz (7/5): It was ok for short stay - Very nice outside area. Nice swimming pool, little waterfall and the garden. Breakfast was disappointing
- Alison (9/5): A piece of paradise in a busy area - Lovely accommodation in a busy area, but very quiet. Nothing
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lea-sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marc (8/5): Nice hotel, centrally located in nice Prawirotaman area, most rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is somewhat basic. - Nice hotel centrally located in Prawirotaman area. Hotel uses staff from the neighborhood. They do there best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Rooms are nice and clean. Rooms are bit dark. We needed an upgrade to get to a better room. Breakfast is a bit basic.
- Erin (10/5): Loved our stay - The property is beautiful, an oasis in the middle of the city. Our room was large and comfortable. The bathroom is outdated but clean, spacious, and functional. The service was excellent. Great breakfast. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again one day.
- Anagha (9/5): Amazing find in the middle of the City - Its a beautiful property in the middle of the City. The swimming pool was Serene. Rooms are spacious and so are the Bathrooms. Staffs were helpful too. Its close to the main street but still tucked away. The whole design and landscaping of this property is inspiring. Sounds from the Mosques. But I guess that should be impacting all the properties in that area so not a drawback for just this property.
- Mirjam (9/5): Refreshing - Beautiful green oasis in the middle of Yogyakarta
- Suzanne (9/5): Superb - Evething was great Nothing
- Lucy (9/5): I would stay again - It was a beautiful oasis . The pools were lovely it was very peaceful. The calls to prayer every evening are reminder of where you are and that’s good. The Indonesian staff are helpful and pleasant. The bathroom facilities are a bit tired but that was no problem for us.
- Lene (9/5): The perfect garden oasis and base for exploring Jogja! - The location was perfect and allowed us to walk to the lovely streets and sample amazing gelato and buy beautiful batik. The hotel itself was like an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the busier areas and the room was very generous and beautifully cleaned every day. The noise from the nearby mosque was quite prominent and woke us up early occasionally - but it was nice to be in an otherwise quiet and peaceful spot.
- Helene (7/5): Good -
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claudia (10/5): One of the best hotels we stayed at in Indonesia :) - The hotel was great, outside the main roads of Yogya and therefore it was very quiet.
It had everything we needed, the staff was always ready to help and support all of our requests and needs.
We really appreciated them putting us in contact with a local travel agency through which we organized few tours.
The breakfast was also great and served outdoors - we loved being sorrounded by trees, gardens and frogs.
The pool was perfect for a relaxing day!
The location was great, there were lots of restaurants and places to visit right by the hotel!
We could also ask last-minute for a late check-out.
We loved everything, definitely recommend and hope we can make it there again someday :) There's nothing we did not like.
- Lakshmi (8/5): We will come here and stay if we visit Yogyakarta! - Very clean and neat place. Breakfast could have been better.
- Ingeborg (9/5): Amazing garden and pools and comfy rooms! - Super beautiful garden with waterfalls, ponds with fish and 2 pools! The room is very comfortable with a nice terrace and the breakfast is great. Around the corner from two lively streets though set in a very quiet backstreet. Very much recommended! The bathroom is outdated, but they are working on refurbished bathrooms in other rooms now.
- Cecilia (9/5): Definitely come back! - We very much enjoyed our stay at Duta Garden. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Also they are extremely nice to children. They clean the rooms and the premises daily.
Our room was fine. The shower is a bit outdated. The bed slept nice. AC worked proper.
They also have a great pool! Very nice to cool off after a hot day through the city. Would definitely recommend.
- Febriani (9/5): Superb -
- Pakalan (10/5): Want bring my whole family here and breakfast very super ❤ - Was very satisfying and your staff service excellent 😍😍😍
- Magdalena (10/5): Ideal place to find silent in the centre of city and relax. - We appreciated service, assistance, tasty breakfasts, comfortable bars, and swimming pool against our room. Lovely place, we recommend it. None
- Bryan (8/5): Very good -
- Bryan (8/5): Very good -
- James (8/5): Very good - Nice setting with waterfalls by the pool, wehad a cheaper room and it was a bit dated but good value, great restaurants a short distance away It was all good
- Graeme (9/5): Comfortable and affordable - Garden and pool
- Azim_yusoff (8/5): We enjoy our stay. Hopefully will stay again in our next trip to Jogja. - The hotel is beautiful, location is great, within local housing area & peaceful. Hotel is next block to the Prawirotaman St. where cafe/pub/live band performed on weekend. We enjoy our coffee and 'terang bulan' at local cafe next to the mainstreet. The hotel needs refurbishment especially the shower room and the pool need daily cleaning, but it still acceptable considering the price we had.
- Sonia (9/5): Beautiful garden and accommodations! -
- Tom (9/5): Really pleasant place, quiet and close enough to everything we wanted - Set in beautiful gardens, Villas are set in a way that you still have some privacy. Good location.
- Durand (10/5): I loved this place, and would return! - This was possibly the most beautiful and unusual place I have ever stayed. The rooms range from very simple to almost lavish, but the real appeal is the wonderful gardens, water falls, and pools. Fish, frogs and birds abound around the property, which is an island of peace in the middle of busy Yogyakarta. The staff are extremely helpful and sweet, and helped us figure out travel plans, make calls, and facilitated interactions with tour operators. Wonderful people in a wonderful place! At times, there were too many smokers lurking around the pool and on their porches.
- Georgia (9/5): Beautiful pool with waterfall! - The hotel is located in a strategic position with a lot of cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. I loved the pool and the waterfall was beautiful to look at and relaxing to listen to. The ladies at the front desk are helpful and the rooms are clean. The rooms are a bit dated and they need a revamp, especially the bathroom. I always like the idea of an open bathroom as long as there are nets on the windows. Otherwise you are at the mercy of the mosquitos! A mini fridge would be a nice addition to the rooms.
- Josephus (7/5): Good -
- Lalitha (8/5): Very good - The room was great, comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the lovely garden and pool. It's a beautiful and peaceful hotel. The location is also nice - next to some great bars and restaurants -- although fairly far from Malioboro street. But it's easy to get taxis or becak so this isn't an issue if you don't want to walk. The only issue is that the hotel doesn't seem well set up to deal with tourist queries - in terms of responding on tours to the temples or public travel. So you need to do your own research. But it's a beautiful place and I was very happy overall.
- Annette (9/5): A bit of tranquility in the heart of the city, where you can relax, swim and enjoy the beautiful gar - The property was very well maintained and looked like the photos in the booking. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Having two swimming pools was a bonus and the breakfast was delightful. The rooms were large and a balcony or outside space was appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was also good value for money in comparison to other hotels of a similar price. Nothing, I enjoyed everything.
- Emmanuel (9/5): Nice garden out of city noise - The hotel is really nice full of vegetation. Rooms are big and confortable. Nice staff
- Valentina (8/5): Very good - The best hotel area I have ever seen. Waterfalls, fish, so cozy and nice. Good looking rooms, not new but still nice to stay in. Good breakfast meals starting at 6:30, you can have a breakfast and go to see the Temples with no delays. The water in the shower was a little bit less hot than I prefer, so taking a shower for me was not easy. Also only one bad has a charging point, the second socket is under the TV.
- Cristina (10/5): great stay, will return - everything you need, they have it. staff is sooo nice.
pool and gardens are incredible, real gems.
lots of places to spend evenings, walking distance. breakfast is meh, but for 3€/person it's ok to get one going.
also, the bathroom is a dated but fully functional.
- Kevin (8/5): Minor inconveniences but would readily stay there again - Lovely well maintained grounds. Great staff. Be sure that your AC works. Had to move rooms twice to get one where AC actually worked other then just the fan blowing out air. AC is quite important with the heat of the city. There are no mini fridges in the rooms. Would be nice to have for access to cold beverages.
- Autumn (10/5): A beautiful oasis in the middle of Yogyakarta - The hotel is absolutely beautiful with waterfalls, Koi ponds and plants everywhere. The rooms are lovely and clean. The staff was wonderful and spoke great english! It is located on a quiet street with shops and restaurants nearby! I highly recommend staying here! Nothing
- Susana (8/5): Pleasant hotel with beautiful garden but cleaning needs improvement -
- Carolyn (9/5): Superb - What a beautiful, tranquil setting, airy, spacious room, comfortable bed, great reading lamp by the bed, good AC, lovely outdoor personal patio and the pool was a welcome spot to cool off after being out & about in the heat. And wonderful staff to top it off! Not a deal-breaker, but would have liked a fridge in the room
- Salim (10/5): excelent - Excellend hospitality, large staff team that takes properly care of everything, from desk, catering, cleaning and maintenance. It is very calm and quiet, no road or street noise. The rooms are spaceous and private enough. Anything we needed was kindly provided by the the hosts. There is no fridge in the room and we needed one, but we could use the one from the reception.
- Juan (8/5): Elegant old-style hotel near Prawirotaman - Beautiful stylish hotel near Prawirotaman. Nice taste and elegance. Very spacious room and super friendly staff. It has a swimming pool and beautiful gardens. The room could be cleaner. I found hair in the sink
- Gary (8/5): Great location and lovely surrounds and atmosphere. - Location The pool seemed Smokey in colour
and the entry was very slippery and dangerous
- Stephen (10/5): They went out of their way to help me after an accident - I very rarely award 10/10 for a hotel but had no hesitation with this one. I was involved in a traffic accident the day I checked out which left me injured and in quite a lot of pain. I had to stay on at the hotel for about another 5 days and they could not have been more helpful. Among other things they ran errands for me - as with getting medicine and dressings from the pharmacist - and helped me move my luggage.
I was really impressed. I lovely hotel run by very nice staff
Thank you all for your help! Nothing
- Seyta (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful landscape and decorations Not much breakfast choices
- Marius (10/5): Exceptional - It’s a wonderful place who made someone with tons of love ❤️ Wi-Fi in my room a little poor
- Edna (8/5): Very good - The location is great. Close to restos and bars and not far from the city centre. Maybe be more creative with breakfast menu.
For our 5 days, breakfast is always the same.
- Georgina (8/5): Enjoyed my stay. Location was fantastic. - The location is great. It is where tourists can find good local and foreign food, all within walking distance. The location is generally tranquil except at certain times of the day. There is a nearby laundry service that provides a value-for-money service. If you do not like the hotel's shampoo, you can buy it from the small shop nearby for around 10 cents per sachet. And the place is so safe and clean.
I especially like the Asian selection for the breakfast. Every morning they have hot noodles, rice, 1 meat and 1 vegetable. They provide at least 2 kinds of fruits and eggs are cooked on the spot to your preference. Can't ask for more.
The beds are sufficiently hard and comfortable. If you are looking for 5-star hotel kind of furnishing, this hotel is not for you. While generally clean, the fixtures (especially bathroom fixtures) are quite run down. It is OK for me, but not for everyone. You also get occasional insects entering the room.
The other thing I did not enjoy was the loud wake-up call for morning prayers starting from 4:45 am (from different mosques). However, having been to many parts of Indonesia, it is something you cannot escape from.
- Rikki (6/5): Reasonable accommodation on a budget - The size of the room and the cleanliness of the room was excellent. The setting was very pretty and it was a good distance away from what seemed to be the main strip. A short walk but set back enough so you couldn’t hear the noise. There’s very little sound proofing in the room we stayed. We could lay in bed and hear conversations of those from adjoining rooms. The culture is wonderful but if you are a light sleeper, be warned that the noise from the nearby mosque is very loud early in the morning.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
