• Juha (6/5): Ajaa asiansa - Hotelli oli aivan tien vieressä ja huoneemme tien puolella, joten liikenteen melu kantautui sinne todella voimakkaasti. Huone itsessään oli parhaimmat päivänsä nähnyt jo aikoja sitten, mutta huone oli siisti ja sänky miellyttävä. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä, vieressä oli runsaasti kauppoja ja ravintoloita.
• Thomas (8/5): Bra mellanklass - Hotellet var helt och rent. Allt funkar för att bo, mellanklass. Sängarna är ok. Rekommenderar rum som inte ligger på sidan mot vägen, det bullrar en del. Man bör inte ha problem med trappor. Säkerhetsskåp finns inte på rummet. Receptionisten är trevlig, hjälpsam och engagerad. Mängder av restauranger etc. i närheten. Frukosten mättar men är inte riklig och varierad. Sammantaget funkade det bra och vi trivdes.

• Niklas (8/5): - Hotellet ligger bra till för restauranger, olika transporter men en bit från strand ( 10-15 min promenad). En aningen slitet men passar bra för någon natts övernattning. Ingen hiss.

• Luis (8/5): Relaxing holidays - The staff was very friendly and helpful. I go help to choose a day trip and got a great discount. The area is nice, in a walking distance to a quiet beach. I would stay there again.

Good central location to convenience stores and restaurants. Breakfast, wifi and shower could be improved though. Overall, a positive experience.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Unser Zimmer war in keinem guten Zustand. Der Holzboden hat sich teilweise schon gelöst. Überall im Zimmer waren Motten und deren Kokons..... Für eine Nacht war es zum Aushalten, aber wir würden nicht nocheinmal dort einchecken. Das Personal war jedoch sehr nett. Das Frühstück war etwas dürftig. Auch die Pfannkuchen waren zum selbermachen.

• Ying (6/5): โรงแรมอยู่ในแหล่งชุมชน ราคาเหมาะสม - ที่พักอยู่ในแหล่งชุมชน ติดถนนใหญ่ เดินทางสะดวก บันไดขึ้นค่อนข้างแคบและชัน อาจจะไม่สะดวกสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ ห้องพักภายในอาจจะดูเก่าไปหน่อย น่าจะมีการปรับปรุง แต่ก็สมกับราคา, extra มีที่นอน, ผ้าห่ม, ผ้าเช็ดตัวและอาหารเช้าให้ ถือว่าคุ้มค่า ชอบทีมีอาหารเช้าให้ด้วย เช่น ไข่ดาว, ไส้กรอก, ผักสลัด 3อย่าง, ข้าวผัด, ขนมปังปิ้งและกาแฟ พนง บริการดี หากมีโอกาสและไม่อยากพักห้องติดทะเล ก็จะกลับไปใช้บริการอีก

N we could leave our luggage at the reception desk even four days after we have checked out for our diving trip. The hotel is just a few blocks away from the dive shop n there r numerous restaurants n massage shops nearby.

• Peter (6/5): Good location, decent room - We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel didn't give us map cause they ran out of it. So for three days didnt they give us map. However considering what we got, the room was really cheap. We were satisfied.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Above average for a one night stay! - I used this hotel for a night stay after my scuba diving liveaboard trip before catching my flight in Phuket airport the following day. For the price I paid, I would say it was worth every penny as the cost was pretty reasonable for a good location (food, shopping, massage though everything were mostly touristy$), reasonably clean accommodation and friendly staff. Do not expect too much for breakfast... enough to fill your tummy but not for second serving :). If it would be nearer to the beach, will be most ideal.

• Paul (8/5): Clean, comfortable and convenient at a low price. - Great budget hotel in centre of Khao Lak. Convenient for everything. Room 46 even gave us a view to the sea and of the sunset.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Anständig aber Finger weg vom Frühstück - Das Zimmer ist sauber und o.k. Leider gibt es keinen Aufzug. 4. Stock mit Gepäck... gut das Massagen in der Nähe sind. Inzwischen haben wir fuer weniger Geld in ein Hotel mit neuem Zimmer und Balkon gewechselt. Das Frühstück ist furchtbar. Nur Toast, Marmelade und verfaulende Bananen.
• Martin (6/5): Totalt ok - Underbar personal, vårar rum hade myror dom var väldigt små och inte så många, fläkten till AC var mer störande då den var monterad precis på balkongen som var en meter från sängen ungefär och den lät mycket. Jag noterade andra rum hade AC monterade rätt, så ska du stanna här se till att få ett rum med rätt monterad AC. För övrigt helt ok Hotel för detaljer betalar.
• ぽち (8/5): 清潔感あるお部屋で快眠できました - 板張り、大きなベッド、空調はいいです。エレベーターがないので大きなスーツケースを持って上がるのが大変でした。一泊して帰るのには何も困りません。繁華街なので、食事、買い物、マッサージなども便利。トーストに飲み物、フライドライス、焼きそば、フルーツなどの朝食がついていました。

• Martin (10/5): perfect and friendly budget hotel - { note: We are a couple (M43, F38), adventurous and thrifty travellers, with moderate and realistic expectations of the accommodations we book } We prefer smaller hotels in the middle of the action than the lush resorts on the beach. If you're like us, you'll love this modest hotel. Their price is excellent value for your money. We ended up renewing for three nights. ROOM: SIZE: just the right size. We didn't need more space, and it didn't feel cramped. BED COMFORT: We slept very well every night. A/C: worked very well, albeit noisy (the heat pump of our room was directly on the patio, next to the bed, seperated by wooden doors...) CLEANLINESS: all clean. Nothing to report. BATHROOM: Very comfortable, by Thailand's standards. TV: worked like a charm. We watched a couple of movies that were playing on TV. WATER BOTTLES: 2 per night. STAFF: Extremely friendly and courteous. Only one spoke english though. But everyone were always very friendly and helpful. LOCATION: perfect location, next to everything you could possibly need. We rented a scouter eventually next door to visit the area. FOOD: we didn't eat at the hotel. NOISE: It can get a bit noisy sometime. Didn't bother my wife, but I used earplugs. Fixed it. WIFI: Yes. Worked.
• illlamare (2/5): โรงแรมราคาประหยัด ใกล้ชายหาด - ทำเลที่ตัั้งโรงแรมดี อยู่ในเขตเมือง มีร้านของฝาก ร้านขายทัวร์ และร้านอาหารรายล้อมมากมาย เราจองที่พักไป 2 ห้อง เราได้ห้องติดถนนห้องหนึ่ง และห้องด้านหลังห้องหนึ่ง ห้องติดถนนเสียงจากด้านนอกดังมาก ทั้งเสียงผับบาร์ และเสียงรถบนถนน แม้ว่าเราจะปิดกระจก แต่เสียงก็ยังดังเล็ดลอดเข้ามา ในห้องทีวีไม่มีเสาอากาศ ทำให้ดูทีวีไม่ได้ พื้นห้องพักมีแต่ฝุ่น ไม่สะอาดเท่าที่ควร กำแพงด้านหนึ่งมีฝูงมดไต่กำแพงยาวเหยียด พวกเราทั้งหมดเลยละทิ้งห้องด้านหน้า แล้วย้ายไปนอนห้องด้านหลังกันทุกคน โรงแรมนี้เหมาะสำหรับนักเดินทางแบบ backpacker ไม่เหมาะสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ หรือครอบครัวที่มีเด็ก เนื่องจากไม่มีลิฟท์ ต้องใช้บันไดที่มีความสูงชั้น พนักงานของโรงแรมมีความเป็นกันเอง และให้คำแนะนำดี

• Hans Christian (2/5): Close to the main street and that's it! - I don’t understand why this hotel has got so good reviews? As it says in the hotel text, “this hotel is on the main street in Khao Lak”. That’s ok for me but there were gaps around the windows and doors so all the noise from outside could easily reach me and wake me up from my sleep. The hotel in general and the rooms appear dirty and not very appealing. I had booked three nights here but asked the same day as I arrived if it was possible to get a refund if I left earlier. The reply was “We do not follow that kind of policy here!” So after two nights I have had enough and left.

Basis værelse, med wifi der virkede bedre end gennemsnittet. Lidt larm fra gaden om natten. Område: tæt på centrum, og stranden. Hvis din taxachauffør ikke kan finde det så sig du skal til McDonalds.

• Thomas (10/5): Tolles Hotel zu einem super Preis - Ich kann das Jerung Guesthouse nur lobend erwähnen. Ich habe das Hotel gleich 2 Mal in einer Woche gebucht, weil es mir am Strand von Khao Lak sowie im Hotel sehr gut gefallen hat. Tolle Zimmer mit sehr schönem Bad und supernettes Personal. Die Lage ist auch super für Backpacker. Der Bus hält gleich gegenüber und es gibt eine Menge netter Bars und Restaurants gleich um die Ecke.

The rooms are clean, the staff is kind, the breakfast is delicious, and the location is right on the main street only 2-3 blocks from the beach. I would definitely come back, thank you! That first step up the stairs is a pain to navigate like everyone says, but once you remember it's there it's quite all right.
• P (6/5): Overbooked - I had made my reservation via Expedia and paid the full amount in advance. When I arrived at Jerung, I was told that I did not have a room due to overbooking. The person at the front desk called the manager immediately and she gave me a room at a different hotel nearby (about 10 minutes walk), which was closer to the beach and had better rooms (I know because I visited my friends who were staying at Jerung). The manager personally gave me a ride to the hotel and to my appointment later that day. I'm not sure if it's the hotel or Expedia who is responsible for overbooking, but I thought I'd let people know what happened.
• Tim Strangstad (10/5): Great hotel for a great price - Was positive surprised when we arrived. Very friendly staff, that will go to any length to help with your requests. Good standard and right priced. Great for backpackers and budget travelers.
