LuisinaJ (8/5): - The room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom was also very roomy and well-equipped, with toiletries and a hairdryer provided. We especially enjoyed the great balcony and outdoor sitting area, which made the experience even more relaxing. The location is not ideal as it is quite far from the centre, which made getting around a bit less convenient. Additionally, the restaurant did not match the overall quality of the venue, which was a bit disappointing compared to the rest of the experience.

Even though it is described as being in South Gladstone it is only a few kilometres from the centre of Town. Very quiet away from traffic noise. The facilities are very good. It was great that our room had an outdoor space with the outdoor balcony.

Daniel Ian (6/5): Nice hotel in Gladstone. - Nice hotel in Gladstone. Surrounding area is not to nice to walk around if you want to stretch your legs after a long trip.
Nicole (10/5): Will definitely stay here again if we are in town. - One of the best hotels we have stayed in compared to those in Surfers Paradise and even in Brisbane City. Very Clean, comfortable, friendly staff and good check-in/check out even though we arrived late at night and left early the next morning. Keep up the good work!

The breakfast was dire. The staff at the front reception weren’t particularly friendly. We were charged after leaving and not notified why.

Chris (9/5): - The room was large, comfortable, clean and spacious. It had all the amenities you could want in a hotel. The staff were all very friendly and professional. I have no complaints about the room. The Encore buffet was very over priced. I often travel to FIFO camps for work - the type and standard of food on offer was about what I have come to expect from mining camp accommodation. It is definitely not worth $40+. I only ate at Encore on the first night of my stay. I went to Shingle Inn for my second night. I would suggest moving the Encore restaurant away from buffet style and offering a menu selection with options that match the prices.
