- Janine (9/5): Comfort and convenience on a quick trip through beautiful Peace country. - My room was comfortable and my overnight stay allowed me to rest as an in-between travel days adventure where the winter weather can be stressful. The staff at this location is so very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again, no problem. The only downside is that there are stairs only to the second and third floors. Not a problem for me but if a person has mobility issues, they would require a first floor room.

- Steven (10/5): Comfort like a B&B with a meat lovers buffet breakfast. - This town has city prices but half the amenities the city offers, EXCEPT for High Point. They run their establishment with the customer in mind. A real buffet breakfast! Coin laundry, and a casual space to sit and take advantage of 24/7 complimentary snacks and drinks. It’s the first time I felt like I was at a friend place but in a hotel. The rooms are fresh and well maintained and the first time I had two types of pillows on my bed. The bathtub is a deep soaker tub and great for a 6’ + 1. My double queen room had a full size fridge so it speaks volumes for long stays. I really want them to be noticed. They recently renovated the exterior and looks great but isn’t noticeable compared to other hotels. But if they did have a big sign that screams “stay here”, I’m worried there will be no vacancy.

- Janine (8/5): Booking last minute? This is a great option for Peace River. - Check in was easy. Location was great. The room was a safe option when Alberta was having a huge snow storm incoming. The staff person was so friendly and efficient and my room was comfortable. I appreciated everything about my stay. No concerns.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming and made sure we were aware of all amenities available. The breakfast was great although im not a fan of powdered eggs. But the pancakes and french toast was great. the eggs could have been fresh instead of powdered, they upset my stomach a bit.

- Longson (8/5): While some things (like breakfast) could be improved, I will probably give it at least one more try - The complementary 24 hour snack bar with coffee and muffins etc. is a nice touch. The fresh cookies at check-in were terrific. Although I did not use it, the snacks for purchase looked good too. Room was large and bed comfy. Shower was good & toilet flushed properly. TV worked. The breakfast was sorely lacking, The eggs were terrible (both days). The bacon was good tho. The potatoes did not look edible so I avoided them, Coffee was okay and the juice was good I did not see any fresh fruit but it may have been there. Overall for me the breakfast was about a 3 of 10. The hotel is good value but a nice breakfast would seal the deal for a return stay. As I travel for work 50% of my work weeks are on the road, I look for good value in a comfortable room and a good breakfast makes a huge difference. I am finding that the last few years the quality of breakfast at hotels that offer them free of charge, has really gone downhill. Sad to see.
- Natalia (10/5): - I usually stay at other properties in Peace River when I'm travelling but opted to stay here based on reviews and it did not disappoint. I was here for a number of nights, the hotel was quiet, rooms were clean and staff was quite friendly. The breakfast options were good and it was nice to have access to some of the snacks and coffee outside of breakfast hours. Will be staying here again for future work trips to Peace River. Only recommendation is that if you have lots of luggage you may want to request a main floor room (although the staff did offer to assist me in bringing my luggage upstairs). Parking lot is a bit awkward but there was ability to park on the main road if you have a bigger unit you're travelling with. Area was safe and near a good grocery store, fast food and at least one solid restaurant. Highly recommend.

- Dian (10/5): - The staff at this location are friendly, warm, and very knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast buffet rivals any that I've had at Homewood Suites, or the Hampton. Breakfast was enjoyed after a wonderful sleep in comfy beds. Well done!

- Dale (10/5): It was enjoyable, we will be back. - It was close to everything. The room was very clean and had a window that opened to get fresh air. It had a good breakfast. The parking lot is a bit small and only one way out.

Friendly service, great breakfast, snack bar, and juice bar available - close to great dining options and the rooms are always clean. I wish all of the places I stayed at were this great!
- Darren (10/5): I work out of town lots and this was priced right and comfortable - The room was perfect nothing to big exactly what I needed, big tv with lots of channel options, also if you have a firestic you can plug into tv with ease, the breakfast options are great more of a buffet resturant feel not just a couple of hot plates and toasters. I will 100% stay here everytime I am in Peace River No complaints

- lindacL518HC (10/5): STAY HERE - YOU WILL BE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED - The High Point has become my new number one choice for stopping on our travels. We were greeted by a friendly young lady (won't mention name here for privacy concerns) as we entered and without sounding like she was reading from a script she pleasantly told us all about the hoteL, the complimentary 24 hour snack bar and the breakfast buffet, the three accessible door entry points and it was a nice conversation - a great way to be greeted after 11 hours of driving. It was one of the easiest check-ins we've ever experienced (and we travel a LOT). We originally planned to stay in another city further south but had vehicle troubles. A short time after we checked in we went back to the vehicle for more items, when we came in the agent had taken the initiative to call around to find, what her stepdad assured her, was the best autobody shop in the area! She was so nice that I instantly made up my mind that this would now be our "Alberta" choice for resting. The next morning that thought was reinforced by manager because he was every bit as welcoming and assisted us with a late checkout to accommodate the vehicle repairs. (and the buffet was delicious - bacon, sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, fruit, yogurt - everything - yum) To make my point, of the many travels we've made across the country, this is the first time I've made the time to leave a review - this place is that GREAT!
