Also rich breakfast, worth it before you start running around the crowded center for a seat in a overpriced brunch place (no regular bars left in this town) The bed was a bid rough, for my mother. A consideration if youve got sensible, old bones. Old building, you do hear what happens outside your door.

• Anna (7/5): Reasonably priced simple accomodation at walking distance from Malaga city centre. - In a nice and quiet residential area 15’ walk from Malaga city centre. Reasonably priced considering it’s Malaga. There are cafés, grocery stores and good public transport connections nearby. Lili at reception was very nice and helpful. I would go back to Villa Alicia for a little holiday on the cheap side. Room 5 does not have a window- rather two narrow slits high up, partially blocked by a wall. Luckily, after 4 nights there, I was upgraded to room 10, which had a window, therefore natural light. The bedding and towels could be of better quality.
• Stephen (8/5): Very restful and relaxing, nature walk quite close by, town close by, good facilities. - Nice ladies at the desk, very helpful, multi lingual, lovely decor, lots of well maintained greenery, nice sitting room on 1st floor, very quiet area, nice veranda for sitting and or breakfast, shops and restaurants and sights close by, other guests quite polite and quiet, maintenance man very helpful, nice original floor tiling, lovely house. I was kindly given a private bathroom with very modern appliances including a rain shower head with good heating adjustment, My only real problem was, because there is no window, ventilation is a problem. The extractor fan only worked when the light was on leaving the room quite damp when light is turned off. If this could be adjusted so the extractor fan continues for 15 to 20 minutes after the light goes off, a lot of the problem of dampness could be solved. Air does blow into the room via the small gap at the bottom of the door but not enough. Also I think the shower curtain is about 12 inches/30.48cm too long, which leads to the danger of tripping and when shower is done sits in a wet heap on the base of the shower. I did leave the end of the curtain hanging over the on/off shower tap on My last day, don't know whether this helps, would not have to do this if the curtain was just a bit shorter. Apart from that, bathroom is very good.

• Rūta (8/5): - It is next to the bus stop. By foot to the city center it is around 20-25 min It could use more cleaning. Dusts on the floor, on the plants, on the shelves. It is not very sound proof, you can hear everyone wno is comming back or leaving the hotel.

• Speechley (5/5): As with most guest houses, a undisturbed night depends on who is in the house at the same time ! - I was only there for 3 nights and was meeting up with friends , so didn't really interact with the guest house. I'm sure the staff would have been fine . I didn't expect a 5 star hotel , but the comments led me to believe it would be quieter than it was . Guests probably aren't aware of the echoing noise they make moving round the rooms and scraping chairs ... It all depends on who else is in the house with you at the time . On the Saturday and Sunday someone was walking around the bedroom above me till after 1.30 am , which kept me awake , despite earplugs .But on the Monday night the room seemed unoccupied and I was undisturbed .

Het ontbijt had wat gevarieerder gemogen, maar anderzijds was alles wel vers en is een geroosterde boterham ook lekker. De eitjes waren wel ver ver hard en te lang gekookt. Tip: zet een klein tafeltje in de erker waar mensen ‘s avonds aan kunnen zitten als het weer het niet toelaat om buiten te zitten.

• Van norden (10/5): Warm, welkom, sfeervol, Spaans en gezellig. - De plek en de sfeer zijn te gek. Een straat vol prachtige huizen. Elke ruimte heeft kleur en sfeer en gezelligheid. De ontvangst is uiterst vriendelijk. Ik zou om 14 uur inchecken maar kwam eerder aan. Ik appte een half uur vantevoren en kon zonder problemen om 12 uur al mijn kamer in. Dat je pas om 11.30 hoeft uit te checken was voor mij ideaal. Het is natuurlijk gehorig in een oud huis. Maar ja dat weet je van tevoren. En het ligt aan een straat dus doodstil zal het niet zijn. Voor mij voor een nacht prima, maar waar ik hiervoor zat was het wel echt doodstil en dat vind ik zelf heel fijn. Maar nogmaals, niks geks en na 22 zon beetje was het echt heel rustig.

Sunny and warm - The hotel is located in a beautiful area, about 1,400 meters from the roundabout at the end of Passo del Parque. The service was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the breakfasts were delicious. I recommend the rooms on the top floor, with covered verandas on the north side, offering views of the city over the rooftops of neighboring houses. Not recommended for people with mobility issues – no elevator.

Maybe for backpackers on a budget - The breakfast was OK Room location was up 4 flights from the street and up winding steep stairs. The staff leaves at 5pm and there wasn't any help with luggage up the stairs.when we arrived. The bed was hard and not comfortable. The furnishings were shabby and the blankets didn't look like they washed them between customers. The bathroom shower had a very high step to enter and there was not a grab bar to help you getting up into the shower or out. I had to have my husband assist me so i didn't fall which was upsetting. On our last day I didn't take a shower because it was so uncomfortable for me to have my husband help as if i was an invalid. A grab bar would have done the trick. Not a professionally run place. Not much concern for the safety and comfort of their guests.

It didn’t bother me but there were a lot of steps so might be put off by this. A slightly softer and bigger bath towel would have been welcomed.

• Curtis (8/5): Nice place to stay for a week away, would stay again. - Fantastic area, nice and close to town, but quiet residential area. We spent 5 days there and had a lovely late January break, very comfy bed. We took the room without the on-suite bathroom, however the shared bathroom (which, in fairness, we had to ourselves) the shower tray wasn't big enough and didn't drain fast enough for the large waterfall shower head, but the smaller head was a bit rubbish. Other than that, no issues.

• Jane (7/5): Reasonable place to stay - Staff helpful for collecting my lost luggage while I was away. Also willing to store luggage since we were coming back. The price was affordable. Not too far to walk to the hub of the city. Fridge and kettle helpful. Found the room chilly. The heater takes a bit to heat up the room. A bit noisy at times. Lots of echo if people are around.

Good to have a fridge in the room and access to a kitchen and washing machine. Staff very helpful. Nice to have an outdoor terrace and so many plants around. It did't affect us but there were a lot of steps to all areas of the building.

Nous avions réservé pour 7 personnes ,je pensais qu’ils nous auraient mis tous ensemble ,ce qui n’a pas du tout était le cas. Je pensais que nous partagerions les salles de bains entre nous mais malheureusement ils nous ont dispersé dans tous les étages… Mon lit n’était pas propre ,même si le prix était très raisonnable ceci n’est pas admissible … En plus le personnel n’était pas très à l’écoute . Les photos sont très jolies mais en réalité le logement est dans son jus …

• NUO (1/5): 希望这个酒店赶紧倒闭 - 没有满意的地方 This hotel is very, very bad. 1. The hotel is located in a remote area and it is very difficult to climb up the slope. It is not convenient to go anywhere. The bus station is far away and there is no subway or train. There are no attractions, restaurants or coffee shops nearby. If you want to eat or have a coffee, You have to walk a long way out, and the hotel has 50-60 stairs with no elevator, which is very painful for people with luggage to climb. 2. The hotel has no air conditioning. If the temperature outside is 30 degrees, the temperature inside the room is 35-36 degrees. My dog suffered a mild heatstroke. The hotel does not provide any pet services and still charges a 9 euro service fee every day. 3. The worst thing is the cleaning is very poor. The floor in the room is very, very dirty. There are photos to prove it. 4. The soundproofing is very poor. I could hear people washing their faces in the morning. 5. The staff's service is very poor. I paid for two nights' room and the dog service fee. Because the hotel was too hot and my dog suffered a heatstroke, I booked another hotel with air conditioning overnight. The hotel staff told me that the second night's hotel fee is non-refundable. If I want a refund of the 9 euro dog service fee, I have to check out at 11 am. They will then sell the vacant room. I was shocked to hear that. If they don't refund the hotel fee, the room is still mine, and they want to sell it to make money. Are they crazy? Morally corrupt!
