Staff were polite and went out of their way to make sure my stay went well. The room towels were old and creamy/brown colour - these should be updated with new ones as they were also frayed at the edges. The same for the pool towels.
Trudy (4/5): Don’t believe the internet & don’t book an apartment here! - Location was great, directly across road from double six beach We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment that appeared to be an after thought. It was located outside the security gates on the driveway to an underground storage carpark. No out door area no gardens, our view was a concrete wall 1 meter in front of window. I had to argue to have clean sheets, most of the staff were disengaged & the breakfast was very average. I will no longer trust the reviews on line.

Freeab2014 (10/5): Quiet hidden gem - This was our third time staying at the Kumala Pantai. As usual we were greeted and assisted upon arrival. We were a tad early but Yogi found us a room with the correct bedding configuration that was ready for us straight away. The staff were extremely helpful from housekeeping ensuring we had everything we needed, to the restaurant staff who assisted with special food requests. The hotel is in a brilliant quiet location, the rooms are a little bit traditional, and have everything we needed for our stay. When we were checking out, there weren't any porters in the lobby at the exact moment our taxi arrived, and one staff member had finished his shift and was leaving to get on his scooter and he saw us and rushed over to assist us with our bags in his own time, this showed how much he cared about the guests. We will definitely return.

caddyandbellA (6/5): Not as good as last time but still OK - This was our second stay here but we didnt enjoy it as much as our first. I had asked for a ground floor room as we are in our 60s and have an issue with too many stairs but was given the third floor. We were offered a ground floor room but with twin beds so kept the upstairs as there was an elevator. We were in the older section of the hotel and shared with many children in the pool. Room was ok but the fridge was in a cupboard that was way too small and we had to pull the fridge out to get it open and then push it back to close the cupboard with little access. You had to keep your finger on the toilet button to make sure it flushed completely or it didnt flush. English TV stations with a great crime channel. Squirrels running along your verandahs which was awesome. Breakfasts were good with plenty of choices but gets very busy so tables are a premium. Didnt use the main pool as we had one in front of us and we were closer to the beach last time. We love the area that it is in and we have our favourite massage ladies , restaurants and mini marts. Good thing was it wasnt packed to the rafters so was quiet at night,Better than some in the area but I just feel the quality wasnt there as it was 2 years ago. Staff all very friendly and always saying hello.

Just perfect. It’s across from the beach so plenty of Bars close 🥳 Breakfast was yummy plenty of choices. We stayed 4 nights and every day they had different food items. leilakL632WA (10/5): What an amazing Hotel! - We have just returned home from 11 nights of bliss. The most amazing hotel. The location was just perfect. Right on the beach. On the Legian/Seminyak border. We had an interconnecting room - stayed in SG Block. Hubby and I had 1 room with a queen/king bed, and the kids in the other room (2 single beds and a rollout bed). The rooms were large and spacious and very clean. The staff at the hotel were just so amazing. So friendly and accomodating, and always had a smile on their face. The gardens were spectacular, and so well maintained. There are 2 pools. A larger pool and then a smaller pool with a pool bar. The Sands restaurant (the hotel's restaurant) was so great. Food was delicious, the nightly band so good, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Daily breakfast was great too. Eggs, Bircher muesli, fruit, pancakes, cereal etc. So much variety. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy a relaxing holiday. So many restaurants so close to the hotel, as well as Carla Spa (our daily massage hangout). Will definitely be coming back!!

Had a lovely room that was kept very clean daily and the breakfast was ample. This trip was solo but there were guests of all ages. Pools are fantastic and the beach just across the road. We travelled with twins & the staff genuinely loved seeing them everyday & made such a fuss of them. The hotel is well placed with beach access at the back & the front leads out to a relatively quiet street with shops & restaurants. The gardens are amazing, lush, green & lots of shade. Beautiful water features with fish & even resident turtles. Food is so reasonably priced if you wish to eat there or use room service. Definitely our family go to when we return. Thankyou guys for making our stay so memorable 💓
GaryandLesleyTravel (10/5): Very happy with our 7 nights here - This resort styled hotel set in a mass of greenery offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Our deluxe double with balcony and pool view included, a large comfortable bed, air conditioning, big screen TV, safe, fridge, wardrobe, a desk and chair, inside and outside furniture and tea and coffee making facilities. The spacious bathroom had both a bath and a very good shower. The complimentary wifi was great and worked in all areas. Room servicing and complimentary water and good buffet breakfast each day. On site restaurant, 2 large pools one with swim up bar, a gym and a spa. The staff were incredible. Highly recommended

karena109 (10/5): Wonderful place to stay! - Rooms were lovely and had lots of space. The bathroom was amazing with a shower and bath tub! The gardens are a credit to the gardeners and the ambiance is incredible. Very authentic! Staff are wonderful and always happy and so helpful! Will be back to stay again definitely! 5 star in our opinion!!
John (10/5): Wonderful, relaxing holiday in beautiful hotel with such great staff and superb pools. - Pool, gardens location. Maybe designated smoking areas so we didn’t have to share the smoke and poison.

Clark (8/5): Great hotel in a good location offering value for money. - The gardens are stunning and there are 2 lovely pools. The rooms are a good size and all have balconies. The staff are fantastic and though it’s an older style hotel, it’s very maintained. Breakfast is also good. In my opinion, there is an over abundance of decorative statues in the gardens and the decors in the rooms is a little dated.
Jane (10/5): Had a nice relaxing stay. - It was quiet and green. Like the closeness to the beach The daily plastic water bottles. Should have a water station on each floor for guests to refill each day. Have SLS free wash and shampoo in the bathroom.
