• Grant (8/5): - The property is really convenient to the beach, restaurants and shops. The property is good value for a cost sensitive person. The breakfast options are limited compared to the 4 stars resorts as you would expect but there is adequate choice for most people. They offer a AUD20 shuttle service to the airport which is fantastic.

• Claire (10/5): - We had one night at Dekuta prior to our flight. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and in an excellent location close to the Beachwalk mall & beach. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately I wasn't well when we arrived for check-in and they accommodated us with an early check in, in a nice quiet room so I could rest. Was very grateful. This is a good value hotel.

Before booking, I verified that the hotel offer wifi, in addition i contacted the hotel over the phone explainng that as a remote worker it was imperative for me that the wifi worked or i wouledn't be able to operate. I asked multiple times for months before my arrival and I always was told don't worry the wifi is working fine. since my arrival june 12 2024 the wifi in my room has never worked, forcing me to go to work ousite the hotel. i paid 11.millions and 600 thousand rupias uppront amost $700 for the stay at this hotel. i absolutely do not recommand this hotel, it has been having wifi issue since the past two years. I have found this out after speaking to the staff. If you need wifi during your vacation this is not the hotel for you. Stay away, save money and frustration!!
• 31hartonot (6/5): Affordable in the center of Kuta Beach - Spent three nights in this hotel. The location is in the center of all happenings,such as restaurants,local shops,beach, modern shopping mall and the clubs. It is a bit dated hotel, seems to be more than 20 years. The open air lobby is nice with the medium size swimming pool just a few steps. The restaurant is by the road and expect for some pollution. The room is quite old and the bathroom is even more dirty. There moulds almost at all corner. Inside the room there are free tea and coffee with kettle, simple bathroom amenity and the worst is the liquid soap with strange smells. The pillow is too soft and I have neck pain after sleeping here for three nights. The bed is not comfortable at all as it is an old style bed. The breakfast is just fine, you got Asian style and toast. You can order fried eggs for free. The hotel is surrounded by local shops, and a huge modern shopping mall (Beach Walk), then you will expect the traffic and crowds, most of the rooms are not facing the road,then it seems to be more quite. I will only recommend if you want to stay in the center with affordable rate,if you are looking for more luxurious room,then Marriott is just in front of this hotel with all room facing the sea.

The food is mediocre, limited vegetarian and almost no vegan options. Mice chewed on our stuff during night and left poop behind. Not a great hotel but not bad either.

It's a beautiful little hotel, lovely rooms and gorgeous pool. We loved the location, close to beach, lots of action close by on Poppies 2. The best bit were the staff!! They were the most lovely people and made our stay! We have nothing to fault and highly recommend this place!
• 671max739 (10/5): My fantastic experience at the DeKuta Hotel - Their location are perfect near by the beach, many restaurants, mall, shops around the corner and can be reached in walking distance. Their exceptional service was unforgettable. Especially Alit Wijaya who have shown his dedication to arrange me everything. He always makes sure that everything we need is in place & well arranged. The breakfast is more than expected, they have a lot of choice. Wifi is good but need to be improved. Everything are perfect and definitely would come back on our next trip in October.

• Levi (10/5): - I have been staying here at Dekuta for some years now, and is my first choice hotel. Firstly, the staff are great, but I have seen a decline over the years, everyone seems to be super young, not sure why all the older staff are not here anymore?? The housekeeping staff are also great, especially the OG's. There has been several times where I have left money and walked out of my room and left the safe door open. NEVER once has anything ever been taken or touched, they even tidy up my clothes laying on the floor. The Pool - Used to be great with the waterfall feature but that doesnt work anymore. The sun lounges are in need of replacing, the stairs from the deck the bushes need to be trimmed as they cover most of the path way towards room 108 /109 Breakfast - while there aren't many options for the included breakfast, they are some great ones. I recommend the avo smash !! Overall I will stay here again, they just need to re freshen the place up. The location is just behind beachwalk and of course is on poppies 2, say no more
• HajinY1 (10/5): The second home at Kuta - It was our second time staying at Dekuta hotel. We visit Bali every year for surfing and Dekuta is the perfect location for that activity. Walking distance from the Kuta beach, very close to the beach walk mall, and go to the main shopping district as well as local warung. The staffs at hotel were more than friendly and everyone was so willing to help the guests. The furniture at hotel looked bit older than the pictures but the rooms stay very clean and neat condition. The breakfast served at Nebula restaurant was also delicious as you can try the local Indonesian food as well as American breakfast. If we do have other chance to visit Bali, my choice would be definitely Dekuta again. Thanks for the great service.

I think that this place was flash and very nice a few years ago but the room, bathroom and pool area was a bit tatty. Still, it was good value for money and cheap and cheerful, but I think the photos should be more representative.

• Jan (8/5): - Like a lot of Bali properties Dekuta is beginning to see signs of lack of maintenance which is a shame as it is a fairly new hotel. We had constant problems with the room safe, it took three days before we finally got it sorted. They super chlorinated the pool so for one day the pool was full of dead algae, yuck. I would suggest bringing a WiFi extender if you want to use the internet in your room as the connection can be poor, had no problems on balcony or common areas. The breakfast package served in the adjoining restaurant is good value offering both European and Indonesian options. Location is great close to the beach, plenty of shopping both local as well as worldwide options available close by. Very quiet, beds comfortable. Overall a great stay.

Reasons why are delicious breakfast (you know when you're there you shouldn't miss it and you keep coming back for lunch and hit), 3 mins away walking to the beach/mall, friendly and helpful staff!

Rooms are old and need a refresh, linen needs updating and towels need a good bleach. The staff are fantastic and the cocktails are strong and yummy
• KimmyP71 (8/5): Pleasantly Surprised - We were very pleased with our recent stay at Dekuta Hotel. The location is excellent! A short 10 minute drive from the airport via Taxi at a cost of 150,000 Rupiah ($15 AUD approx). The hotel is budget but it was fantastic value. Comfortable beds, nice A/C, clean. The only negative is the bathroom is rather outdated but overall fantastic value. The staff are nice and friendly, the restaurant attached "Nebulla" has two for 1 cocktails all day long, a beautiful breakfast and lovely menu for all day dining. Just a 3 minute walk to the back of BeachWalk Shopping Mall and surrounding streets lined with markets that aren't too pushy or busy. Great value for money!
• shonab442 (8/5): Comfortable on a Budget - Our stay here was very pleasant, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in and until we left. Location was perfect for us, as it was in easy walking distance to many places to eat out and explore we barely needed a taxi for anything unless we had to meet up somewhere for a Tour. Nebula Restaurant also had amazing food, we ate here a lot and its wasnt that expensive either, but there are plenty more cheap eateries on Poppies Lane. The hotel could do with a major facelift though and this is why I wont give a 5 star rating, as the rooms and amenities are looking very worn and tired and not like the photos on Expedia. Our air con wouldn't stop leaking during the last 2 days of our stay which was a nuisance coz it made a huge water puddle in the middle of corridor and our room got very musty and hot very quick if we had the aircon turned off. We got a very cheap deal on expedia for our room and flights but because of this we were put in the "corner" room 318 of the hotel behind a large statue with no views and if we sat outside on the balcony for a cup of tea, there was no privacy for our neighbour in the other "corner" room. BE SURE TO TAKE A TRAVEL ADAPTER PLUG with you for your chargers as we weren't aware they didn't have NZ style powerpoints. This wasn't a huge inconvenience for us because reception were able to provide us some for NZD $5 each for the whole stay!

The staff we very friendly on check in, although the room wasn’t ready on time they offered us an extended our check out to compensate . The room was compact but had very luxury . The a/c unit was quiet. The bed was a little hard but not a deal breaker . The breakfast at Nebula Restaurant was limited and slow but a nice start to the day. We will look forward to staying again. All the staff were very friendly.

Breakfast was limited choice, but great quality food. Pool looked good, but I didn't use it. Staff chirpy enough and rang for motorbike taxi and arranged transport to Ubud for me at a good (fair) price. Room needs more lighting, particularly the bathroom, not enough light to put your face on (which in my case is probably a good thing, wrinkles you know!!)

• Courtney (8/5): Two night stay - Stayed here for two nights after staying at another hotel in the area three nights previously. So much nicer for still a fairly cheap price. We chose to stay because we loved Nebula Restaurant so much. When staying at the hotel you get 15% off at Nebula, if you spend a certain amount on certain items, be careful, but still very good prices. The hotel room was clean and spacious. Laundry service was good. Offered as a wake up call when we were leaving early, nice but not needed. Lovely pool and beds to sit by it. Good hotel overall.

• Melissa (6/5): Good location - This hotel is in a great spot at one end of Poppies 2, so it is central to Beachwalk Shopping Mall, Kuta Beach and numerous restaurants, hotels and shopping. Staff were friendly, room was comfortable and spacious however bathroom could use a little sprucing up. Overall for the low price we paid we think this was value for money as it was a quick stay to be close to the airport. Great for transit or a couple of day stays, probably not longer term. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the pool area which looked nice however due to time constraints we didn't take advantage of the pool during our stay,

Room service finished at 10. I didn't notice this or I wouldn't have stated I like 24 hour. Not enough beds by pool but pool was lovely and open till 9. Overall average hotel and it is close to beach and in a great spot.
• Jason (8/5): Convenient location, good price & lovely breakfast - Well negatives are wifi is not great and my room overlooked the parking lot at the front (not quite a city view!) and felt like a prison with the wooden beams covering the entire balcony. That's all the negatives... Staff are so lovely, room spacious and modern, very comfortable large bed, nice bathroom, pool is great, site still feels clean and tidy and the breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it for sure!!

Kuta is busy with tourists and people try to sell you things, quite noisy, but De Kuta ended up feeling like a home away from home. Such nice staff and they gave me two bottles of water every day, great value for money. Excellent shower and hot water. Located close to the beach shopping mall and beach. A busy beach tho, I didn't spend much time there. It is not a flash hotel, but still very pleasant, clean white linen, I had to ask for a kettle and coffee etc which they gave happily. They have air con, it doesn't go full speed but still much better to sleep in. My room on first floor overlooked the pool. As mentioned the meals cheap and delicious so I dined there very night where possible. It felt safe there.

• Kim (2/5): Good location, nice staff but room condition's bad - The hotel staff is very nice. But the hotel room is full of mosquitoes. I got 2 bites in firsr few minutes. The room is so dusty. It looked like it hasn't been cleaned.
• Aimz (6/5): Great position, but other things let it down - I called ahead to confirm that we had a ground floor which we were accommodated for, but they failed to tell me that there were still stairs to get up and down for the ground floor room. I wouldn't have booked the room for my elderly mother if I knew ahead of time. The breakfast was OK, but on too many occasions I had to send my plate back as the sausages were stone cold on the inside. They would probably be better off with a buffet breakfast rather than ala carte. The 'orange juice' was a sickly sweet cordial which some days contained ants. I understand that ants are hard to control, but it's not hard to check the glass before you serve it to customers. The rooms were tidy, but the house keeping staff made no effort to try to clean the room while you weren't there, perhaps a little communication between the restaurant staff to notify house keeping that we were there or perhaps putting a sign in each room to hang on the door handle when to clean the room. Some days, we were chasing up house keeping at 4pm just to change towels and get toilet paper. The male housekeepers seemed to do all the hard work but we're let down by the female staff who just seemed to walk around watching the males work. The bathrooms smelt awful, I suspect that the buildings don't have S bends and there is no sewer trap holding back the smells. The water in the showers and basins didn't drain in a hurry. The reception staff were lovely, but 2 weeks here was to long.
• vicki (8/5): great location - great location so close to restauants..markets and beach..... needs alittle work on bathroom.....staff very friendly and helpful no shampoo toothpaste etc so take your own also no mini bar...room comfortable with good aircon would stay again for the right price
• Kathy (2/5): Location within walking distance to beach - I was very disappointed with this hotel as could not stop scratching in bed and to tea or coffee making facilities
• Siew jin (8/5): Convenient location for good price - Convienent location, located beside a popular eatery, shopping mall and beach is just down the road with lots of shops along the way. Pool, room was great. Wifi is really good in all areas.
• Craig (8/5): Always a pleasure to stay at Dekuta - All facilities are of 3-4 star standard, its hard to point any issues in this little gem of a place so ideally located on poppies 2, a stones throw to the beach and centrally located away from the noise and close to shopping. A boutique venue with a great restaurant, awesome pool, well appointed rooms. You will rarely find an issue here and its price is well worth it!
• Verified traveler (6/5): Close to beach and pubs restraunts - Very spacious hotel very modern rooms but had to ask to get my room cleaned on 3 separate occasions to get them cleaned. Put some laundry in to get done at 930 am 3 days later could not be found and hotel only gave 30 au dollars to cover and said nothing could be Done other than them problems it was a good hotel food Waa outstanding
• Lori (10/5): Dekuta is close to the beach and restaurants - Dekuta is not 5 star accommodation but if you are looking for a great place to stay close to everything and at a great price then this is the place....very happy thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay xx

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great location - Great location . Close to all the activity but also on a nice part of the beach. Short stroll to all the clubs, nice malls, the beach, Waterpark etc. Some funky restaurants around the place with very cool vibe. While at same time some nice more reasonable priced restaurants nearby. Really nice spas around the corner for a great massage. Easy pick ups for activities like scuba diving and snorkeling.
• Hani (8/5): Best Famaily Vacation - Really I spend a good time with your Hotel. If I will come back to Bali Absulotly I will stay with you.
• Norman (8/5): - We arrived in the early morning around 1 am, one of the rooms had smelly bathroom, my parents had to sleep in that room until next day morning. Overall, the hotel is not a bad choice.

• Mani (8/5): Nice hotel, close to beach n maim market. - Nice hotel with a big pool, close to the beach and just 5 min walk to Skygarden and other clubs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Liked their restaurant too.
• Phill (10/5): Close to beach, markets and food. - Our favourite motel for our arrivals and departures in Bali! Have stayed here 4 times now and haven't been disappointed at any time. Staff have always been helpful and courteous.
• Alison (2/5): Small, not clean - I booked a superior double bedroom with poolview , but in fact the room given wasn't pool view and the room size was small and not clean. Overall experience not very satisfied.
• Rachel (4/5): Disappointed - I have been staying at this hotel every single month for 5 months now and the past two trips I have noticed things slipping. Rooms getting cleaned later and later. There is never any towels in my room anymore which results in having too call front desk and then waiting a long time for a towel to be delivered to my room. No pool towels seem to be available anymore, you are given white small towels same as in room. The air cons barely work, even on 16 degrees, the room is still hot. Every morning the shower and basin sink dont work (no water comes out when turned on). Furniture in rooms seems to be in need of repair. I will not be returning to this hotel. Very disappointed after being a loyal customer.

• soe maung (6/5): - My stay is just ok. BF is just nice. Not so many selection.. Room is run down .. Clean though Nth impressive. Service is Gd .. beware of road side shop selling t spirits and pants n they do illegal money exchanging biz.. Rate may be better a bit.. But they will con you and will give local currency less than what u supposed to revive.. When they count money in front of u it is a correct amount.. But u count yourself always shortage.. Of 500,000 / 600,000.. Do kind of eye trick.. Luckily when I found out 15 mins later n counted so many round, go back and demand the shortage , they give me back the US currency I used to change earlier.. Surprisingly though.. Better change at beach walk shopping mall bank at 2nd storey
• Verified traveler (6/5): Remarks - Not worth 50 dollars a night as room cleanliness and air conditioning is far from required standard....... Location makes it God and that road has got lot of shops where u can bargain good.
• Rachel (8/5): Excellent small hotel :) - This is my third time staying at the De Kuta in 3 months. I will be staying here again next month again as well! Modern facilities, staff are all too willing to help, the restaurant (Nebula Room) is AMAZING!!!!!!!
• Meen (4/5): Near to the beach but ... - The hotel facade was looking old. Upon arriving at the room, the toilet reeked of sewage and was filled with flies. Room was pretty dusty and although we requested and paid extra for pool view, our view was the wall. -.- The pros was that the hotel is near the beach and in the "hip-happening" area.

• Thomas (10/5): Great spot next to beach - Dekuta was a fantastic deal for the location. It was close to the beach, which is exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately we got horribly sunburned our second day, and had to hide in the hotel for a few days. We were glad we had the hotel we did! The aircon worked great. It wasnt really our scene, but it is close to Legian and the bars and clubs there. Very close to the beachwalk shopping mall, and not far from Kuta Square, and Perama Tour. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful. The Nebula restaurant was great, though the included breakfast was limited.
• Rachel (10/5): Lovely hotel in a central location - I loved my stay at this hotel. I have wanted too stay here for some time now. The adjoining restaurant The Nebula room is AMAZING. The roof top bar is divine. The hotel itself is new, nice size with all the modern comforts you could want. I have already booked too stay here again when I return next month 😊
