• Juvie Ann (7/5): Will never book again - The fact that it is near d'mall other than that nothing special, pool is not accessible, you have to go up and take stairs. No consideration about extension hour. Everything. We have been to different hotels at boracay and tides is one of the inconsiderate one.
• 480tayam (6/5): Property didn't quite meet expectations - I'd like to say firstly that the staff at this hotel are fantastic & extremely accommodating. They are working with a tired property & doing the best they can. My room was very musty & I had no hot water for 2 days after being told by maintenance that it was hot. Reception staff helped me & it was fixed. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The beds here are seriously like sleeping on bricks. Again reception staff problem solved & a quilt was put under the sheet. Made a fraction of difference & I appreciate their effort. Pool is clean & food is adequate. This hotel does not have access to any beach lounge chairs (note-there are none for hire in Station 2). Hotel is right amongst the restaurant strip.

• Richard (7/5): GREAT EXPERIENCE TO STAY IN HOTEL. - Value for money in terms of location. It was very accessible for the restaurants and bars. Near beach front. Approachable Staff and they are always smiling. Great customer experience. Salute the hotel staff. The bed foam is not comfortable. We requested for a replacement but not available. But the hotel staff find a remedy to ease the situation. But everything is okay. Hope next time, we can check the comfort of the bed.

From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with refreshing amenity drinks, setting the tone for a wonderful experience. The service throughout was consistently good, friendly, and professional. We would especially like to commend Ms. DARLY who is a true gem of this company. Her warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism made us feel valued and at home. The management is very fortunate to have such dedicated employees. We will surely return and highly recommend this hotel. In fact, we believe The Tides sets a great example of hospitality that should be replicated in Pampanga and beyond.

Our best time was at the rooftop poolside bar. Paul (bartender) was amazing, extremely hospitable and friendly. Paul also makes the best drinks! Thanks everyone at tides for making our stay special.

Rooftop restaurant was very pleasant until the entertainment ended and then the music was turned up WAY too loud. I think they were trying to entertain and draw in the people walking in the sand about 2 blocks away. Hope it ends soon so guests will be able to sleep. They allowed smokers to sit on the steps and smoke near eating guests… that ruined the flavor of the yummy food. I wasn’t planning on drinking but server insisted it was 2 for 1 happy hour & then I saw the Mojito Monday special for 99PH. I asked if that was valid for the special 2 for 1. He said, yes, of course. How could I refuse? This is my first and only not fabulous review. I prefer to reward good service and chalk up the not so great ones to an “off night” but, The drink was beyond horrible. Couldn’t even finish half of one. Then the bill came. Not $99PH, not 2 for 1. The server adjusted the bill, but even at the discount, a partial amount of 1 crappy drink wasn’t worth the $200PH. I won’t be drinking anything on the rooftop for the rest of this trip. (The free welcome drink was 2000% better than their idea of a Mojito) Lesson learned. Time to enjoy the Island!

The hotel is located inside D'mall. The employees are very welcoming and helpful, they really approach you when help is needed. The rooms are clean and well appointed, bathrooms are very spacious with hot shower. The rates are affordable. The hotel has a younger vibe. I has a gym, a rooftop pool and bar, and massage area. All the facilities are clean, but need some minor refresh and upkeep. I love that there is filtered drinking water located at each hallway so there is no need for bottled water. Will always book this hotel when we visit Boracay!

Everyone made us feel very welcome and any issues we had were dealt with promptly—they eventually moved us to a nicer room, which we didn’t expect but really appreciated. The location was great, close to restaurants and just a short walk to the beach. The bed and pillows were really comfy. We’d definitely stay in Tides Hotel the next time we’re in Boracay! We had some issues with the toilet and shower not draining properly, and the aircon leaking. But the staff dealt with it right away.

Also great position. The staff were always sweeping and cleaning. Always said hello and if I asked for anything they did it promptly. No where to put anything. No bench space in bathroom or hooks to hang bathroom bags, clothes line in bathroom was broken. Bed was very hard. Could not open sliding door to outside and could not open curtain as everyone could see in. Need privacy screen. The whole place is old and needs repairs done.

They also do daily cleaning. I just hope in future they will allow guests to bring their pets but I also understand they are looking out for their other guests which are not very comfortable having pets around. It was very accessible to everything we needed, like convenience stores, souvenir shops, and a pharmacy. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely come back!

There’s no roadside entrance though so you’ll have to walk here from the main road or from the side streets where cars are allowed in. But this was not a problem for us as we were traveling light and stayed only a couple of nights.
• arlyn (6/5): - We booked thru Expedia 3 rooms Sept 20-22, 2025. Paid for 3 rooms with 2 queen beds . At Expedia it advertised it sleeps 4 but when we arrived at the facility I was told the rate covers only 2 person. I was very disappointed with my experience as I had already paid ahead of time. My family and I were left waiting in the lobby for hours, and no one from the staff checked in on us during that time until we decided to pay. While the staff was friendly, it didn’t make up for the poor handling of our situation. In the end, we were told we had to pay extra per person. So, if you're traveling with a large group, I would not recommend staying here you’ll likely end up paying much more than expected.

The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating—they kindly allowed us to check in early since my son was having a tantrum, which we really appreciated. Our room was clean and well-maintained, and housekeeping came every day to tidy up and refresh everything. Overall, the staff made our stay comfortable and stress-free. Thank you!
