- Hardy (3/5): Alt, kaputt, dreckig - Oktober 2025(!) - Blick und Lage sind schön. Das dreckige, veraltete Schrott-Apartment eine Katastrophe! Alt, kaputt, dreckig. Wir waren im Oktober 2025 hier. Lasst euch nicht von deren Website betrügen. Hier ist nichts renoviert oder neu…

- Chagit (3/5): Not recommended.. - Location and sea view, offers a kitchen The place is not a hotel.. it’s short term apartments for rent. No gym, no pool, no breakfast basically no food to buy..
very run down and unmaintained . Terrible smell in the room, and evidence of dampness. Pealing walls and ceiling.. was not pleasant to stay..
- Alla (2/5): I wouldn’t stay here again. Would rather pay a little more. - The location was quite good and some parking was available. The sea view was a bonus and having a washing machine was nice. It’s a really outdated and run down apartment building. The whole place was quite dirty. There was a weird smell in the unit. The bed was torture. There wasn’t anyone at the lobby half the time. No one at all to help with luggage but a lot of stairs into the building.
- Jonathan (6/5): Good value and clean - It was well positioned Old

- Verified traveler (6/5): - About service not recommended at all. Location is good
- Etan (4/5): Noting special - It is very basic service no internet in the room , they promise to have I internet but it was incorrect .
The parking is impossible.
- Verified traveler (10/5): simple hotel with large rooms and great location. - Good service. Great location. Older rooms simple but large . Comfortable bed. Good price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): One night - When we arrived, the reception man told us he doesn’t has the key to our room because the previous people didnt return it, so she gave us another room. In our new room we didn’t had towels, and the air conditioner was so so. The breakfast was very good.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The Receptionist did not bother to help.
I had to insist for the receptionist to indicate the handicapped elevator that would allow me to transport my luggage to my room.
Overall,a bad first impression is hard to overcome.
- FussBudget (4/5): - I feel badly writing a negative review about this hotel. We had really high hopes, but the place is run down.
It seems like a hotel which used to be quite nice but now has been allowed to become dingy. Also, It looks like it is mostly apartments, or something now, not actually a hotel.
We stayed in one of the "Top floor, sea view suites", which in the photos look up-scale, but our room was not. The room slept 6, but they accomplished this by filling most of the first floor with twin beds/cots. The sheets and towels were stiff and grayish. Counters/sinks/mirrors were low quality and poorly installed.
The staff was not rude, but certainly not warm or friendly. We felt we were imposing on them whenever we had a question. Also, a new hotel is being built next door, so half of our lovely view was filled up with ugly construction related junk (not the fault of Hotel Blue Weiss, but not mentioned before we booked either). If we had been staying with just the kids it would have been OK but we were traveling with my Mother-in-law, who is use to nicer accommodations. We had stayed in three other hotels in Israel on this trip and they were all lovely, so this really stuck out.
Here are some good things:
The room really did sleep all 6 of us, so we didn't have to pay for 2-3 rooms elsewhere. The breakfast was fine.
Good location.
All in all, we wouldn't go back to this hotel.
- Anat (8/5): Great room with an amazing balcony/view - The room was great! Very spacious!! Great balcony with an amazing view. Full of windows throughout the entire suite- loved it. The hotel is a bit outdated but our overall experience was good once we arrived to our room.
- jerry (10/5): upgrade - we were upgraded and had the best apartment possible
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent hotel - Close to the beach and restaurant. Staff friendly.
- MARC (2/5): WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER! - GOT THERE AND WAS NOT PLACED ON A HIGH FLOOR ESPECIALLY AS THE INTERNET WAS OFTEN OUT. WHEN I COMPLAINED THEY HUNG UP ON ME. I HAD TO WORK IN THE LOBBY.
THEY OVERCHARGED ME $270. I HAVE NOT AS YET GOT IT BACK! WHEN I COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS THEY THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE! SOME IN THE FRONT DESK DEMONSTATE CUTOMER HATRED AND ARE LAZY- THE RUSSIAN ONE ESPECIALLY
THEY HAD LITTLE PARKING AND WOKE ME UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TO MOVE MY RENTED CAR!
THE BREAKFAST WAS NOT THE BEST.
- Laura (8/5): - great location, we had an executive apartment with ocean view, towels a little ragged and skimpy, didn't love the breakfasts so much, coffee was good though
- Verified traveler (6/5): Fabulous location and ocean views - This is the hotel I hate to love - the location is phenomenal as are the views. Place has all the essentials (except parking) and is clean, but it has many quirks that you just laugh at eg loads of shampoo but no soap, plenty of towels but no wash clothes, clean rooms but pictures crayoned onto the walls, tables and chairs that feel like they are from Goodwill.
- Karin (8/5): Nice Hotel, excellent view, quiet - Good location (10 mins by foot to city center), quiet, 300 meters away from elevator that brings you down to the very nice, clean Herzl Beach.
Excellent Israeli breakfast.
Clean room, more than enough new towels every day. Extra beach towels.
Very friendly and helpful staff
I had been at Blue Weiss the second time and will most likely go there again.
- Maxwell (8/5): Wonderful customer service. great vaca on a budget - We ordered a simple room and requested a high floor, they gave us a room on the first floor but there was construction being done when I looked out the window, so I asked if there's any rooms higher to change to. They were very accommodating, and for a minimal fee they upgraded us to the highest floor, to a HUGE room, with a full kitchen, one and half bathrooms, 5 beds, couches, recliner, table, and the most amazing view of the beach. They offered great customer service. The staff was very nice to work with and were very helpful. Though not a 5 star or 4 star hotel, it was very good for the price and especially the location. We would definitely go back and recommend it for friends who are looking for a nice place to be on a budget.
- jack (8/5): I liked it - fairly large hotel on the beach, close to nice area for walking, shopping, eating. We tried to take a dip in the Sea but it was a bit too cold. Wish we had planned to stay a few days instead of just 1. We took 2 rooms, but it turns out that our suite was large enough for 6 people in the 2 rooms that we had. The price was very reasonable. We had to leave before breakfast so I can't say anything about how the food was at the hotel.
- Stanley (10/5): Great stay! - We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Weiss very much. The view from our balcony window of the Mediterranean Sea was breathtaking. The breakfast buffet was very nice, with a large selection of fresh foods. There were construction tower cranes working outside our window, but that added to the interest. The hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the Mediterranean Sea for swimming, and the mall for dining.
- Lynda Leah (8/5): Blue Weiss in Netanya - We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade when we checked in. The suite we were in was spacious, clean and comfortable. The view was terrific and the hotel is easy walking distance to the Tayelet, beach, restaurantsand shops. The furnishings were ok but could be updated. The bed loft was a bonus.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I had gone during high season. The cost of the room was very high. However since they did not have many rooms I got one of the nice rooms on the 11th floor. Great ocean view. I was not happy that they did not have an iron in my room. I had to go down to a particular floor to use the iron.
- Mia (6/5): Good Value for the area - Spent 5 nights here in July. I was not welcomed by the front desk and had no instructions or information about the room or area. The service staff( housekeeping, breakfast) were wonderful. Easy access to beach and very quiet. I would stay here again.
- Marko (4/5): Not happy - Very very dirty hotel, at best 2.5 stars. Would never stay there again. Very very dirty!!
- shmuel (8/5): - Very nice , but not a lot of parking 13-15 cars max
- Martin (8/5): Great view and amazing room - We were upgraded and stayed in a 2 floor apartment room on the 11th floor. The room was basic but very big and comfortable. Breakfasts were basic but good. The selection was small but the quality and surroundings were very clean and good quality.
- Jackie (6/5): Snow in Israel - The hotel/apartment is a big complex. Parking is difficult. The rooms are spacious but stark. Breakfast is good. The hotel can us an interior facelift.
Location is good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A+++++++ - Had a great time. Hotel was excellent. View was incredible
- laurent (10/5): GREAT HOTEL FOR THE PRICE - The Hotel was wonderful. Its not a high end hotel but it has everything one needs. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The view from the room was beautiful. I m definitely going back to the Blue Weiss next time I stay in Israel.
- John (6/5): Jet lag paradise - Great view and location. Recovered well from a 20 hr air travel. Easy walking distancenter to the main plaza. Food was great small varity.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Booked on a hotel.com sale, fooled by star rating - the hotel is a dump. it is old and has been neglected for years. beds are awful, rooms are dark and dingy.
beware, they are building a new hotel right behind this one. Construction an issue. and the view (only good thing about the hotel) may be obstructed.
Lets hope the hotel comes down altogether. What a dump!
did I mention that already?
- Verified traveler (10/5): A great place if you love a sea view - Very enjoyable
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice hotel right on the beach - No complaints at all. Very relaxing time. Continental breakfast was GREAT! The other hotels on the beach seemed a little run down. Will be back to this one for sure!
- Rufus (6/5): Great location - rooms a bit run down - We enjoyed our stay at Blue Weiss. The sea view was great and it is very convenient for central Netanya.
The bathroom was somewhat in need of an upgrade, but it was not enough of a problem to stop us returning.
- daniel (8/5): - Fantastic place, every room overlooking the ocean, lots of places within walking distance
- Aron (4/5): Good location, poor amenities - Two pluses: great location and specious rooms.
All other things are on the level of american 1.5 - 2 stars hotel. Beds are simply awfull.
- gabby (8/5): very good location. nice sea view. - best view. very close to the beach. we had the suite with big balcony. 2 bedrooms plus living room.
- BStr (8/5): Great place to stay! - The room was huge, perfect for families. The hotel overlooked the water, breakfast was yummy and plentiful. Staff was super nice and helpful. The overall condition of the rooms was ok - the lamp didn't work, ac needed a special touch (and then worked perfectly), and the water pressure in one of the bthrms was too strong. But it was overall great, and we would def stay there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great hotel - The place looks relatively new and is very clean. It is right by the beach and the main part of the city. The room was huge, nicely furnished and had a stunning view. The only two faults I have are the tiny mattress and the laundry service I made use of. I had a suit and a dressed dry cleaned overnight. Not only did that cost $50 itself, the rush charge was double the actual price. This isn't the hotel that is charging you but rather the company they use, still, that's simply unacceptable, especially if they don't tell you that beforehand.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Nice hotel, close to the beach - The hotel was wonderful, close to the beach, clean and staff were very helpful. The breakfast was a plus.
- JCH (8/5): Budget friendly apartment in the heart of the town - The property is on the boardwalk overlooking the beach. The apartment was a two bedroom flat on the top floor with amazing views of the coast, the boardwalk and the beach. Each room had Mediterranean views. The unit was clean, comfortable with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Each of the two baths were well-appointed and new looking. It was sort of weird that the master suite bath had no toilet. Its toilet was off the kitchen just outside the master suite. There was a small deck off the living area on which to enjoy the view and have morning coffee or an afternoon drink. The building in which the unit was located seemed to be more of a time-share than a hotel. The common areas looked a bit worn and in need of maintenance, a fact shared with many of the surrounding high-rise buildings in the neighborhood. Great location near restaurants and bars along the promenade.
- Bob (8/5): Nice hotel right on the beach. Beautiful view! - Not typically used by Americans. Used more by eastern Europeans. Great beach with wonderful walking and running paths. Provides a breakfast, conducive to the culture. If looking to experience more of the local people and customs, the place is ideal. If looking for a more American experience, keep looking. My family and I love experiencing local customs and other kinds of people. We enjoy local food and experiences. We will come again, if possible.
- Solomon (8/5): Loved the View - Great Room, but typical parking issues for Israel. We will return!
- Corey (8/5): Hotel on the beach. Management, very helpful. - We booked the standard room. I guess because hotel was not full, the marketing manager of the hotel upgraded us to a one bedroom suite. Room was spacious and bathroom was clean. Couldn't ask for much more. Hotel is slightly run down but not a big deal. Everything was clean, which is more important to us that granite counter tops. TV could use clearer/more channels but watching TV was not a high priority. Beds/pillows were comfortable. Hotel is close walking distance to shops and right next to the beach. The free breakfast was really good: Eggs, hash browns (potatoes), cereal, difference cheeses, croissants, rolls, fresh fruit, veggies, hot chocolate, coffee, Israeli orange juice. Overall, great experience. Construction in the area was not a big deal. seems to be mostly over. Would definitely go again.
- alan (6/5): stay - overall nice clean place good locationright on the Mediterranean Sea and very close to center of town however rooms had no dial out poems and no way of using printing Internet
- Colleen (10/5): clean, friendly, close to beach - We arrived a little too early to scheck-in but there was a place to store the bags, comfy couches in and cold water available so, no matter. They updated us to a larger room which was nice - turned out to be a suite! Lovely. The beach is a short walk along a promenade that leads to an elevator which made life VERY easy. The main part of the promenade (shops and restaurants) is about 5 - 10 minutes away and it turns out the bus station is only 20 - 25 minutes away by foot! In other words, convenient location. The only non-issue was that on my first evening (of 2), I asked to stay one extra night. The desk lady told me that I would have to ask the man incharge of that and that he wouldn't be in till the next morning. Fine. The next morning I asked about him, he wasn't in yet. OK. Asked for him again about 2 hours later and was told, somewhat rudely, that they were aware of my need and they did NOT have a room for the requested night. Whoa - OK - I didn't think the attitude was necessary. And that same lady had been sweet as pie previously! I obviously overstepped some invisible line.
- Alex (6/5): Great location - Great location. Nice and newly renovated facade. Rooms are huge and spacious. Rooms need are in need of renovation. Old furniture and old interior poorly coexist with a very nice exterior.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great quality price ratio - I was upgraded to a suite, and not sure everybody will get this, but the room was super large, very clean and the view was great.
- Barbara (6/5): - Lack of good everyday room cleaning. Hard to communite if you donot speak Hebrew.
- Galina (8/5): Would be perfect with a little bit of work. - Contradicting combination of extremely nice features and missing basic items. Promised Wi Fi exists only in the lobby, which turns out to be the case with many Israel hotels. We had the biggest room I had seen in whole Israel, with amazing view on the sea (minus loud construction right under our windows), and rooftops of the city on the other side. We even had 1.5 bathrooms. The kitchen did not have anything- it was a full kitchen without one single utensil, plate, pot or pan. Very outdated furniture- looks like beginning of 80s. When we arrived to breakfast at 9:40, nothing was left. However the stuff was extremely nice, and did everything possible to help us.
- grandma c (8/5): Econony Hotel - Clean Room, friendly staff, great location. Great deal for the price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel, close to everything. - Staff was very friendly and nice. They upgraded our room to a suite. The furniture in the rooms was a little old but the bed was very comfortable and clean. The living room had a bay window from where we could see the sea very well. The beach was very nice. The breakfast in the morning was awesome. We slept only one night in the hotel but the breakfast was the best we had had during our stay in Israel. A lot of shopping is walk distance.
