I understand this has nothing to do with the hotel, however crackheads screaming profusely outside our room evening - night made it hard to sleep and scary to go for a walk to check out the nearby restaurants. The lift needs a update

- Alan (5/5): Sadly, a Bunbury Icon that needs some TLC - Hospitality staff are very good so too is the food. Both dinner and breakfast wait staff were exceptional hosts and truly understand service. Front Desk, one person on and check in system seems VERY slow. Hotel is old and a little run down. Windows dirty, air conditioning vent dirty. I could not adjust central air conditioning to warm and shower cold in the morning. My colleague showered in the evening and said water was hot, perhaps system is inadequate for morning shower rush? Minibar is ridiculously expensive. I appreciate it is all about convenience, however those sorts of mark ups went out 25 years ago.

- Lindsay (4/5): Disappointing - Bed was ok TV was very hard to use. Free to air didn't work and subscription TV did not have enough bandwidth to run smoothly. Spend some money on it!! There was a high pitched whistle going on in the room until we figured out it stopped when the bathroom door was closed. And in the bathroom with the door closed this almighty gale blew in under the door making it very uncomfortable. So yeah a few problems but the beds were good.

- Dale (5/5): Won't be back - The staff were all lovely but overworked, Loved the lounge area and had some nice food (A little Expensive for the size of the portions.) Beds were clean and comfortable. The lift on our side of the building could have worked. The door to the bathroom (Ihad to fix as it would not shut securely.) The Interchange between Bath and shower. Worked for me but we couldn't get it to change to shower so my sister could have one. Totally understaffed for the amount of people staying. RE parking. When you go round to the car park, there is nothing to identify what it is or who it belongs to. Also I booked this place as it had lifts as I have a bad back. In New Zealand I would have paid $125 for the same standard of accommodation With the exchange rate I paid double for this.

- Craig (2/5): Not a 4 Star no way, lucky to give 2 stars - Most staff that i interacted with were awesome , some not so much , food and drinks were fine , but definately not 4 star quality No normal tv for almost the entire stay , when they did fix it , they lost it again , they blamed it on a faulty tower/network , so i checked with a couple of friends i know and also checked another hotel , nobody else had issues , so basically i was lied to , i also reported what looked like a blood stain on the curtain the moment i arrived , nothing was done at all for the entire time i was there , dont get me started on the internet/wifi quality , non- existent , stuck in 2G it seemed like ,was so slow loading anything was near impossible and if you did manage to load something it soon crashed , the 2nd elevator is still out of service , i see it was an issue for past 6 months minimum , sorry but doesnt take 6 months to fix an elevator , sliding door to get out to balcony was so hard to open (reported), def needs new wheels ,

- Michele (6/5): Overpriced, need to raise their game - Comfy bed and great location (walking distance to town and beach). It's overpriced for what's on offer. Rooms are dated and in-house services are woeful. Room service costs $7. If you want a dessert separate to your main meal you have to pay the room service fee twice. Our TV didn't work and we had to move to another room. As a comparison: We stayed at the Murray Street Novotel in Perth shortly after this. It was beautiful, really luxurious - and cheaper!

Service lacks, no propper mini bar, plumbing didnt work properly, balcony door unsafe, no overal service. Money grab. Its a shame TLFH used to have a great rep. You now charge double the amount with terrible amenities and service.

- Camille (8/5): Over all great stay, but needs some attention. - Friendly staff, good room with 2 double beds, plenty of towels. Found our room quiet. Beds comfy with 4 pillows each bed with good clean linen. Nice decor with lamps, desk, couch plus dining table and chairs. Lovely buffet breakfast. And ample seating in restaurant. $200 security deposit a bit extreme. Only one lift working, air vents really dirty rooms and foyer. 50/50 about pool in foyer. Spa not enclosed so same temp as pool which seem pointless as jet blow out cold water which wasn’t enjoyable. Parking meh, underground around side really dingy and not secure or monitored so moved car. A Broken down car sitting out entrance, parked behind it at check-in waiting for a driver to move car but obviously never moves causing blocking in if more than two car arrive to check in at 2pm, looks like it has been there a while as weeds growing underneath. Room sounds like in wind tunnel but problem solved when opening balcony door a smidge.
