There is a limited menu food option onsite and a store for items. The beach bar was a nice to have. Overall we enjoyed our week here and would recommend.

- mayckell (10/5): - This place is great, staff, beach, property itself. This is my first time in this side of the state and trust me, it is worthy. If you are looking for and scape getaway, couples or family, this is the place. Kim is great, quite responsive and helpful. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

- Anthony (8/5): Great space but get ready to do your own cleaning - Beautiful resort at a spectacular location. Was very disappointed with the housekeeping. I had to call for some fresh towels and for the room to be tidied up on the 3rd day. All they did was bring the Towels, The bed wasn't made, Floor wasn't swept, the garbage wasn't even emptied.

Proximity to the beach and availability of chairs, cabanas, etc was excellent. Bummer that tv didn’t stream for night time movies but hey we were at the beach. Would’ve appreciated one kitchen towel to reduce paper towel use but we used a hand towel no problem. All in all, relaxing and fully enjoyable! Would recommend to all

- Jessica (10/5): Amazing stay at manasota key resort - Such an incredible stay!! Our two bedroom hotel room that was Gulfront was amazing! Literally steps to the beach. So many outdoor activities to do! chairs, boogie boards, bikes, kayaks are all included for use in the stay! The room itself was perfect- everything in working order. Beds comfortable, enough towels. Can’t wait to go back. A perfect relaxing family vacation.
- Terri (8/5): - The resort is beautiful, right on the beach on one side and the bay on the other. The rooms are very nice with living area and kitchenette. Many of the rooms are direct beach access. They offer free use of kayaks or paddle boards and there are pickleball courts and cornhole and ping pong tables available. That said they need to light these areas at night so they can be used after dark. The guest laundry is free. They have a small grill open only til 7 with canned beer and wine but would have loved a bar with blender drinks and cocktails and opened later. Restaurants are available about a mile away but are very busy every evening. The beach is wonderful with lots of seating options and umbrellas/cabanas. Very family friendly. The days we were there unfortunately there was quite an undertow and the waves knocked people down a lot trying to get in and out of the water unless you were able to time it just right. The hotel has free boogie boards as well that helps. The only other minor complaint is they should provide each room with a broom and dustpan or small vacuum as there is no way not to track in sand daily, and there is no daily housekeeping. If you want a quiet place to enjoy the beach or kayak away from the crowds I would definitely recommend the Manasota Key resort. Staff were all very helpful as well.

- Denise (10/5): - We were in an upper level 2 bdrm and we loved our place. Bldg 17 was overlooking the bay and had a large dock to walk out on. We watched dolphins swim by our dock; we loved the heated pool for evening swims, and there were plenty of chairs for the guests on the beach. Beautiful restaurant w/ a fire ring for cozy evenings. Kayaks and bike rentals for free was a bonus. Super friendly staff. We’ll be back.

The room and facility were sparkling - super clean and fresh (unusual in many seaside motels and hotels we’ve stayed in), and the amenities - bikes, pool, miniature golf, beach chairs & umbrellas, sweet little bar and cafe, etc, etc - were well above average. The resort is near shopping, restaurants and other beaches - we will definitely return❣️

- Karin (10/5): - We loved the location, and amenities, including friendly staff. We were sad to only spend two full days here, out of our 7 planned days, due to Hurricane Ian heading in. We hope to visit again, but not during Hurricane season.
- Kelly (10/5): - Perfect long weekend getaway. We stayed in a suite steps away from the beach. Very few people on the beach. We could shells and sharks teeth. They have bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. The office staff was great. Nice restaurants close by. We will be back.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Slice of paradise! - This is a little slice of “Old Florida” & is just a wonderful little paradise on Manasota Key . Our family is a repeat customer for years at this point. It’s not the four seasons but it’s comfy and you’ve got everything’s you need. Perfect beach getaway!

- Rayza (8/5): Little vacation. - I loved the location. Is right at the beach. On tge other hanf the unit could use some cleaning and remodeling for the price they charge. I would come back just because can't beat opening the door and having the ocean right there.
- Leslynn (10/5): - The floor in our room was sticky in the kitchen area and the kitchen sink smell was rancid. Smelled like something died. Other than that things were very nice. Love having beach chairs, bikes, etc.
- Heather (10/5): - This place was beautiful! I stayed in the nautilus building, Bay side. It was very clean and the staff was very kind. It was amazing being able to walk down my hotel stairs and step onto the beach!! The beach in front of the hotel is for beach guests only, so it doesn't get crazy packed! We stayed 6 nights, and my only "complaint" I would say is that they only provide you 2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towel no matter how many days you stay. Not a huge deal, but I feel that for the price, they should add on a roll every 3 nights you stay. They did exchange my towels when I called and asked, which was nice. There was a stove, a full fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cookware and plates/bowls/silverware. The air conditioning worked beautifully! We were very comfortable our whole stay! There is a laundry room in 2 of the buildings. $1.50 to wash, $1.50 to dry. They have single packs of laundry soap for sale in the office. They have kayaks and huge surf boards to rent, for free, while you stay. There are beach chairs and umbrellas as well. We found so many shark teeth! Shelling isn't the greatest here though. We seen dolphins on the beach side and the Bay side! It was awesome! There's a Circle K on the island that has necessities. A McDonald's right before the bridge to get on the island, and a Walmart about 8 miles away. We are very happy with our stay, and will be booking again for next year!! Thank you to all the staff for such a great experience! ☺️
- Steven (10/5): - My stay was near perfect. The location right next to stump pass was beautiful, great for hiking and kayaking, Wanna Be even provided the kayaks to use at no cost. Walking distance to nice restaurants on the harbor, great birding spot too. Professional and kind staff.

They were so nice! They brought us new towels cause we used most of ours to soak up the water. Very accommodating 😊

- Nancy (8/5): Not quite what we expected. - It was a basic room with a gorgeous water front view. I felt the room was a bit outdated and felt like we did a lot of the house keeping ourselves, taking trash out, doing the dishes, sweeping, etc. The WiFi was spotty at best. It would have been nice to know about the fish kill from the red tide before we arrived as that may have changed our plans a bit.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Had a efficiency unit with a balcony overlooking the Gulf. Across the patio to the seawall and your on the (Private) beach. Floors were ceramic tile which helps with sweeping up sand. The room was clean when we arrived, no sand anywhere which is a testament to housekeeping. Staff was very friendly. We were a little skeptical before we arrived, the location, price and amenities seemed to good to be true, reality was better! Small kitchen with dishes and pans made eating with food allergies simple, the Dollar Tree and Publix are just a couple of miles away. Found we had overpacked, brought a beach tent and wagon that we never used our room was that close. Sunrise and sunsets on the balcony, looking for shells and shark teeth on the beach, hiking in Stump Pass park to view turtle and bird nesting sites and playing in the Gulf. There isn't daily room service, it was truly Our space, we didn't worry about securing all belongings when going out. Felt like home. Looking to be pampered, this isn't the place, looking for a great place to relax without having to go far, this has everything you need. Everyone was friendly during our stay, you get to meet the people around you. Parking is assigned and we had no issues when the state park was full. Could not have asked for a better experience! Will definitely return! New favorite vacation spot!
- Stephen (10/5): Nice quiet resort - We had a great time on the Private beach that was not crowded. Close to several nice restaurants. Nice pools on site. Great time. We plan on going back!
