- Ivon Richard (8/5): Le site de l’île de Pâques où l’on peut voir les Moai. - Le site était parfait pour l’emplacement. Les facilités un peu moins, il faut comprendre aussi que nous sommes sur une île et que tout ne s’apparente pas aux grandes villes. Le personnel très gentil et très agréable.

- Philippe (1/5): - Le petit déjeuner Le rideau ne couvrait que la moitié de la fenêtre à rez-de-chaussée face à l'entrée de l'hôtel où tous les clients passaient. Pas de moustiquaire tombée par terre, pas d'eau chaude, fuite à gros jet du tuyau de douchette, pas de pression ni de débit de la douchette contrairement au robinet de lavabo, savonnier vide. Défaut électrique de la prise de courant de la salle de bain qui a fait disjoncté tout l'hôtel quand j'ai branché mon chargeur Samsung, qui a de plus grillé. Les lits doubles promis n'ont pas été mis à disposition. Poignée de baignoire rouillée. Pas de table, de chaise, de coin salon dans les chambres. Pas de TV ni de minibar comme indiqué dans la description Chambres situées dans une partie ancienne de l'hôtel ne correspondant pas aux photos. Une honte...de mensonges. Je demande le remboursement à booking, cet hôtel pour la partie que nous avons occupée mérite tout juste 1 étoile. Mais nous n'avons pas pu connaître la partie décrite dans le site de booking puisque l'hôtel était soi disant en surbooking.

- Marta (1/5): - Hice una reserva porque venia de otro hotel que no nos había gustado. Y al llegar fue nuestra sorpresa que el hotel estaba cerrado, sin personal ni agua caliente. Porque aceptan una reserva si no hay condiciones mínimas? El hotel no es nada barato. El propietario, un hombre mayor, le costo devolvernos el dinero porque Booking ya lo había cobrado. Y para llegar al hotel tienen una subida te tierra y piedras que con maletas y carro del niño imposible subirla.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön und dennoch nahe am Zentrum sowie zur Küste. Der Erholungsgrad mit der wunderschönen Terasse und dem Garten ist unbeschreiblich schön. Dieses Hotel kann ich gewissenhaft jedem empfehlen und werde es bei meonen nächsten Besuchen au jeden Fall noch mal buchen. Herzlichen Dank.

- Verified traveler (8/5): スタッフがフレンドリーで立地が良いホテル - 繁華街の中ではありませんが、立地が良く、ホテルから繁華街を歩いて一周すると30分くらいです。繁華街と逆方向にはイースター島唯一のガソリンスタンドがあり、その横にあるミニショップで両替ができて便利です。ホテルからガソリンスタンドまでは徒歩5分です。治安も良く夜の一人歩きも全く問題ありません。ホテルから繁華街の港まで15分程歩くと、夕焼けスポットです。港にレストランもいくつかあるので夕飯を食べながら夕日を見たり、港のベンチに座って眺めるのも良かったです。 ホテルの人は親切で、夜寒くて眠れなかったと言うと、毛布をセットしておいてくれました。清掃もきちんとされていました。 タオルは毎日は変えてくれません。 1日おきかなと思いましたが、2日変わっていない時があったので、サイクルはわかりません。 朝食は8:30〜10:00で食パン、ハム、チーズ、ケーキ、フルーツ、生搾りジュース、コーヒー、紅茶があります。日曜に9時からツアーを入れていたのですが、朝食を並べ始めたのが8:45くらい。大急ぎで食べました。日曜は基本的にどこも休みなので（レストランやカフェはやっています）朝ものんびりしていたのでしょうか…？ 空港の送迎は、事前にホテルにメールをしてお願いしました。ホテルを発つ日は夜23時の便だったのですが、最初清掃の人は11時にチェックアウトだからと部屋を使わせてもらえませんでしたが、ラウンジに座っていたら男性のスタッフさん（オーナー？）が声をかけてきて、夜ホテルを出るまで部屋を使ってていいよと言って、また部屋の鍵をくれました。 ホテルには看板が一切ないのと、道路に面しておらず、小道を少し登ったところにあるので、送迎でなく、個人でホテルに向かう方は入り口がなかなかわからないと思います。

- Well traveled (6/5): Friendly, non English speaking staff in small hote - We were met at the airport and given leis. Very good It's half a block off the street up a very uneven gravel drive. No walkway. Staff was very friendly but did not speak English, except the driver. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. There was a working refrigerator. Cold shower for first person. It was warm.for second person. Toilet seat broken. Rust stains on porcelain and grab bar. Screen door did not lock, but was needed for ventilation as no AC .Fortunately not a high crime area.. Safe did not lock/unlock on a consistent basis. It's 20 blocks from the main town sector. Daily breakfast was ham and cheese for sandwich, variety of breads, coffee, juice and melon.
- gabi (6/5): Gute Lage - Das Hotel liegt super- nah zum Flughafen( fussläufig) sowie auch zur "Stadt", man kann sogar das Meer sehen. Am Hotel könnte mal was gemacht werden. An der Wand löst sich die Farbe wo mal feuchte Stellen waren und man weiß nich wo man seine Handtücher aufhängen soll- keinerlei Haken im Bad oder Zimmer . Sonst sehr sauber, jeden Tag neue Kopfkissen bezogen auch das Frühstück war gut.

- Malcolm (8/5): Hanga Roa November 2017 - The hotel manager picks you up from the airport but I did not know. It is only a 10 minute brisk walk on brick laden sidewalks between the hotel and the airport. The hotel up a inclined graveled/dirt driveway that it not obvious so if you plan to walk, make sure you print out a satellite map. There is no hotel sign on the roadway so unless you have been there before, you will not know where the hotel is located. The hotel manager can arrange tours and rentals for you. It is convenient and prices are very reasonable. The hotel is set atop a small hill so you can have a semi-decent view. The first night there was a motorcycle going back and forth on the road below as well as loud music from below but the subsequent two nights, it was quiet. The first night after coming back from the Kari Kari show, took a shower but no hot water, luckily the water was not freezing cold. The following two days, there was ample hot water. Self serve ham sandwich, pound cake, bagels, unpeeled fruit, fruit juice, omelette to order for breakfast. Location of hotel is off of the main drag but still well within walking distance of the main drag, rugby field, post office as well as Tahai. Hotel is very clean and the lobby/dining area is like a living room where guests can interact.

- Paco (4/5): Walking distance & avalability - I chose this hotel, 1) because it was available on the days of my choice, 2) because it is in Hanga Roa, within walking distance of everything in town; great location!, 3) price range Rooms are not air-conditioned; no ceiling fan. TV set does not work; very poor to no reception from mainland networks. WIFI only works in the common area (lobby) and is v-e-r-y slow. Small refrigerator in room. Breakfast (included) barely made it to "Continental", but it was better than nothing at all. Rooms in hallway adjacent to common area are not desirable—you will get all the noise from incoming/outgoing guests. Complimentary airport transportation (from/to) was most appreciated. All things considered I had a most fantastic experience in Easter Island. Very nice people, and delicious food! I loved it, and highly recommend it.

The view of the ocean and town is incredible and I loved drinking my morning coffee on the lawn looking over Hanga Roa. The people who work here are also really friendly and even though I was sometimes the only guest, they still put in the same amount of time and effort for me. I can't wait to go back!

- Cynthia (8/5): I liked it - I was contacted by the hotel through Expedia prior to my trip in order to arrange the airport transportation. I was picked up at the airport and given a brief tour of Hanga Roa, which was very helpful for finding my way around right from the beginning. The hotel is situated at the top of a hill, right around the corner from the main street and a 5 minute walk in the other direction to the ocean, the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus tour company is right across the street. You could see the ocean and some of the Moi from the hotel grounds, there was almost always an ocean breeze. The hotel was clean, I had a large room, bed was very comfortable, I had hot water at all times of day and plenty of towels. Staff were very nice and could answer any questions I had, they spoke a little English and I a little Spanish, so communication went well. There is no air conditioning (I didn't see any AC anywhere on the island), but I could leave all my windows open to let in the ocean breeze, which I enjoyed. There was a small refrigerator and flat screen TV in the room. I used the fridge, but reception for TV is very poor everywhere on the island and I was glad to be busy doing other things and didn't miss the TV. The WiFi worked in my room, but reception not sufficient for using streaming services. I could message my family, but even sending pictures took a very long time -- I was happy for just being able to stay in touch from such a great distance. Overall, a great experience!

- Zach (4/5): Close to town, but should have stayed at a hostel - We were picked up at the airport and given a short tour of the town. Once we arrived at the hotel the staff gave us a key to our room and that was the last we heard from them. No one told us when breakfast would be offered, information about check out, we confirmed that they would bring us back to the airport and instead they ditched us for a cab. We booked a king sized bed and instead got two twins. The room was pretty well clean, but the housekeepers only made the beds, they didn't clean floors or the bathroom. The room didn't have AC nor a fan, it is hot and stuffy on Easter Island in the summer, even a ceiling fan would have greatly improved our comfort. Overall for the price we paid we were disappointed. This hotel would be better described as a hostel with private rooms.

Our room was basic and fine for what we wanted and expected. The breakfasts were good with lots of hot milk for coffee and lovely toasted buns and fresh fruit.

They pick you up from the airport with gifts and drop you off with soyvernir. They have cars avaliable for rent which I highly recommend if you experience rainy weather. Around the corner is scuba diving center and local cultural shows. Breakfast is included so you can save some money. Older gentleman that rented me a vehicle told me more about the Island than any guide book could...

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel was a basic hotel with a descent location. It had everything we needed to explore Easter Island. The hotel manager is what really made this hotel fantastic. Mancho picked us up at the airport and then the next morning set us up with some great, inexpensive, tours of the island for two days. He also organized a local dinner performance to highlight the local culture. The restaurant he recommended, Tataku Vave, had excellent food, but the view was even better at sunset. We would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Easter Island.

Although spacious, my room was rundown. The towels were threadbare and during my five-day stay they were never changed. There wasn't any shampoo in the bathroom which was small and without an expel-air vent. You get what you pay for.

- DON (2/5): HOTEL IS CLOSED - When I booked the Hotel, I emailed them and within a few days received confirmation that I will be picked up and dropped on on my arrival and departure days. When I landed too my surprise there was no one waiting. I asked how to get to the hotel and was informed it was about a 25 minute walk. I did not mind because I only had a backpack and really wanted to explore the island. The people of the island are very friendly, warm and helpful. When I got to where everyone pointed I could not find it. Finally, I found it. There is no road going there and it is in the back of some bushes with no road signs. When I got to the hotel there was no one at the front desk. I waited and then decided to walk around to see if I would see anyone. There were no guests and the place was completely deserted. I waled to a neighbors house and the informed me that the hotel is closed. Luckily there are hostels all over and I went to another one and stayed there for the remainder of my trip. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.

- Dennis (10/5): Quiet,comfortable,excellent location - My daughter and I stayed six nights at Hotel Victoria,Easter Island.It is a very basic,no frills hotel,but very comfortable,clean,and close to the center of Hanga Roa.Breakfast is delicious and abundant.The staff is very friendly and helpful but limited English is a problem.Moncho,the hotel manager will make your vacation a success.His English is very good and he will help you any way he can.He will arrange and book tours for you,rent you a car,suggest places to eat and see,get you a taxi,pick you up and drop you off at the airport,and help with whatever you need.He is Rapa Nui and very knowledgeable about the island and culture.He works hard to make sure you have a good time and always asks how you are and what you need.He always has time to talk with you.He recommended a dinner/show(Te Ra'ai)and believe me you do not want to miss this.The food is cooked in the ground and opened in a ceremony.It is a buffet dinner and delicious,with unlimited wine.The show is traditional Rapa Nui dancing and music.Moncho does the sound mixing for the show.Be sure to see this.THANK YOU MONCHO!

- Luka (6/5): Clean and convenient - The hotel is small, and very basic (no hair dryers in the bathrooms, no phones in the rooms, wifi is very slow, and the TV has limited channels which are all fuzzy). It feels more like staying in your grandpa's garage-guest house or a deluxe hostel, but it is tidy and comfortable. The hotel is located off the major road where most shops are, so you don't get any traffic noise (although the sound of chickens and roosters can be heard all over town, so there's no escaping that). It's in walking distance to everything in Hanga Roa (the town), including the airport, although you can't see the hotel from the street and there are no signs or other obvious markings to help visitors find it. The continental breakfast is fairly decent, with deli meat, cheese, breads, fruit slices, juice, and coffee. You can fill yourself up nicely with the offerings. As a bonus, the hotel is located in a tsunami safe zone, which I found out after the tsunami alarms went off following the big earthquake in Santiago, Chile! Just a heads up: I discovered if I left my bath towels on the floor they were simply hung up again when the room was tidied, and I was not given fresh towels. The owner (Hugo) was rarely at the hotel, and the older woman who was there most of the time speaks very little English so it makes communicating with her somewhat of a challenge. All in all, it's a good place to stay and I would book a room there again if/when visiting the Island again.

- Christina (10/5): Nice staff, big rooms - I stayed in Hotel Victoria for 4 days and 3 nights. The hotel owner and operator, Hugo is very kind and helpful, and rents out ATVs and motorcycles for free. The breakfast is included and is a typical Chilean breakfast of bread, ham, cheese and tea. My two complaints that I have: there was no shampoo provided, this is the first hotel I have stayed at that did not provide that. My other complaint is that there were ants inside of my room, only by the door not in the entire place. One morning when I showered I forgot to pull the inside shower curtain in and had to clean the floor with a towel. The white towel had some distinct brown marks as to appear that the bathroom floors hadn't been cleaned in a pretty long time. It was overall a good experience. The sheets and towels were clean, a lot of space in the room and a comfortable bed. It wasn't my best hotel experience nor my worst, you'll be spending so much time outside of the room anyway and it's not outrageously expensive.
- watchareeporn (8/5): Pleasant stay and will go back. - It's a good hotel where you could enjoy the very local area. You could see a house eating grass via your window from your room. Also the owner super nice, he gave us a very good information how to travel around and where is the famous spot that you must visit. I missed my breakfast so, couldn't explain to you. But you will love it.
- Olly (8/5): Welcome stay - Hotel owner was very nice and helpful. All was good, but I would advise to put signs so it would be easier to find the hotel. If you like quiet break, it's the best place! Eventhough there were local troubles in the island with locals rebelling against Chile goverment and closed all sites for us, owner did everithing possible to help. It was holiday to remember!

- Miriam (4/5): Not so nice; MANY better choices available nearby - So many things were worn out, broken or in disrepair; the shower head, the tub overflow, four electrical outlets by the bed, the tv (no reception at all) and the hot water stopped working on day three out of four. The unnumbered (you just had to remember which was yours) room was less than clean; dusty, moldy, rusted, filthy. The staff was only seen at breakfast, not available during remainder of day. One lady from the hotel knocked repeatedly on the door even though we had put out a do not disturb (I had to make my own as none were provided.) The owners sister attacked me (physically/verbally) on the last night screaming that we had to leave. Someone restrained her and explained that she was ill, I guess with mental health issues? The last morning was frustrating; we arranged for airport transportation the night before but waited around until the transportation was set up at the last minute. As we were being dropped off, the driver tried to extort money even though the transportation was supposed to be included.

The location is great, only a short walk to the main street with all the shops. They prepared breakfast for us every morning and there was plenty of it :-) I will recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Easter Island.
- Jim (8/5): Hotel Victoria in Hanga Roa - Hotel Victoria was perfect for our 3 night stay in Hanga Roa. The hotel manageress picked up my wife and I and two other guests at the airport, gave us each leis, and took us to the hotel. She showed us to our rooms and asked if there was anything she could do for us. She booked excellent tours for my wife and I; made recommendations for restaurants; and booked us for dinners and shows. She was very helpful and everything she recommended turned out perfect. We were served excellent breakfasts with fresh fruits, juices, fruit smoothies, breads, eggs, coffee or tea, etc. The hotel is smaller and older than many but the rooms were clean and comfortable with full baths, security safes, closets, and outside opening doors. The hotel is one block off the main street and is easy walking distance to restaurants, stores, waterfront, etc.

- Joseph (8/5): Excellent value for one of the world's most remote - Met right outside of the airport by the owner of the hotel who drove me to the hotel and checked me in. He then gave me the run down on what to do on the island. I rented a vehicle from him (he matched the best rate I negotiated elsewhere). Breakfast was limited but all that I needed. I am pretty easy - as long as the room is clean, the safe works, the staff is helpful, then I am happy. So I was happy.
- phil (8/5): PLEASING - I enjoyed my stay at the hotel Victoria. I put pleasing rather than excellent because that sums up this hotel. It is set just off Main street, There are plenty of shops around. The owner will collect you at the airport and book tours if needed. My room was very comfortable with beautiful views of the pacific. I loved laying in bed and looking at the pacific. Breakfast was rolls ham and cheese , cake juice and coffee and tea . It sets you up nice before eating the massive empanadas downtown. If you come to Easter island to just sit around a hotel , then this is not the hotel for you. If you want a comfortable room great views and peace then this is the place
- JK (8/5): Hotel close to EVERYTHING!!! - Easter Island is a gem. If you're into ancient civilization and its history, etc., there is no place like it. We had the opportunity to visit this island and it was phenomenal. Hugo greeted us at the airport with flower necklace (leis) and gave us a briefing about the island suggesting where to go/see, restaurants, etc etc. He also provided a mini fridge as well as outlet converter/plug. I can't express enough how much I appreicate this island and Hugo!
- ES (8/5): Great Hotel! - Hotel staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful and felt like staying with old friends. Local attractions were pointed out and they even helped us to rent a car. If we go back to Hanga Roa we will stay here again.Anyone going to Easter Island has to realize that it is tropical and 1000 miles from anywhere else and so there will be a slightly run down feel to every place, as is completely normal in Hawaii or any other Polynesian island. We loved it.
