• Christina (9/5): Das Hotel hat einen eigenen und authentischen Charme. Uns gefiel das. - Die freundliche und fast familiäre Atmosphäre. Der Blick vom Esssaal auf Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau war atemberaubend. Wir hatten ein eigenes Badezimmer, das war etwas klein, aber immerhin im Zimmer.

• Alexandra (5/5): Wer es gerne sehr Alt und ganz einfach hat, und das Geld keine rolle spielt, fühlt sich hier wohl :-) - Nur der Standort, die Aussicht aus dem Speisesahl Preisleistung. 200 CHF für ein Nacht im Minizimmer, Strassenseite, ohne dusche & wc ist schon krass. Mit ca 10 anderen Zimmer eine einzige Toilette ist schon weniger mein Geschmack.

Everything was at the highest level- cozy, elegant, and surrounded by breathtaking views. A special thank you to the kindest and sweetest staff for their warmth and care. The dinner and breakfast were wonderful and truly memorable.

• Beatriz (8/5): Ótima localização e bom custo benefício. Mas não esperem muito. - Muito central, perto de vários restaurantes, ao lado do mercado e da locaçãos de esquis. Perto do teleférico para as pistas. Cama parecia quebrada e o aquecedor não era muito potente. Café da manhã sem muitas opções.
• Thomas (10/5): Beautiful mountain views in a historic hotel - Beautiful old building, feels like you're in a movie. Beautiful mountain view at breakfast. Our room's door to the corridor wasn't very sound proof. That should be fixed by making sure it sits in the frame perfectly.
• Jack (10/5): Great place with a great view! Worth the price! - The mountain side view from our room was absolutely incredible. As well as the view from the dining area. Breakfast was great as well as other meals at their restaurant. Staff was very helpful.

I come to Jungfraregion 4-6 times per year and have stayed in several different towns and many hotels. Mürren is perfect for an active break for families, sports and hiking enthusiasts Very dated facility with old everything: Rooms, beds, floors, bathrooms, toilets, restaurant and common spaces. Shared toilets and bathrooms are for hostels and camping, not hotels. Never again.

• Jeffrey (6/5): Convenient stay in Murren with good views, but middling value. - Incredible views from the room and excellent location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and had a nice balcony. Solid breakfast with a variety of options. We knew about the shared bathrooms, but there is only one toilet per gender per floor which is not enough, and we often had to wait for the bathroom. The rooms were pretty utilitarian, and the beds weren't very comfortable. No turndown service. They room keys were fiddly and annoying to use.
• Ken (8/5): We really enjoyed our visit to Muerren. Would definitely come again. - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is a historic building so do not expect modern conveniences. Breakfast included was adequate to start your day. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Our room faced the mountains which gave us an incredible view- the highlight of our stay. Did not like the shared bathroom and shower on the floor. But we expected this and it wasn't so bad. Never had to wait to use the facilities. The showers were clean.

• Miriam (8/5): Geweldige sfeer in eenvoudig doch charmant hotel! - De charme en ligging van het hotel: midden in het dorp, vlakbij de lift, schitterend uitzicht. En dan die charme, die belle epoque sfeer, eenvoudige kamers, krakende parketvloeren; geweldig! Weinig. Alles is leuk, maar iets meer variatie in het ontbijtbuffet zou wel fijn zijn!
• Evelyne (5/5): - Die Lage ist sehr gut. Das Frühstück war gut. Der Lärm der Kinder die im Gang und Treppenhaus herumschreiten und tobten, war mehr als nur unangenehm. Sogar nach 20h00 war noch Geschrei. Ich gehe in die Berge um mich zu erholen und nicht um mich ärgern zu müssen. Wo waren die Eltern? Ein Hotel ist keine Turnhalle.
• Iris (9/5): Ungezwungener Aufenthalt im wunderwunderschönen historischen Haus mitten in Mürren - Tolle Lage im Herzen des autofreien Mürren, nahe bei Bahnen und Sportzentrum. Wunderbares historisches Haus, sanft saniert, mit sehr schönen und gemütlichen Gemeinschaftsräumen. Die Zimmer sind reduziert eingerichtet, mit stilvollen Details. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das sehr nette, entspannte Gastgeber-Team und die ungezwungene, angenehme Atmosphäre im ganzen Haus. Ein Hinweis an Eltern wäre wünschenswert. Rücksicht auf andere Gäste sollte selbstverständlich sein, insbesondere was laute Kinder in den Gängen vor den Zimmern betrifft. Im Hotel stehen im unteren Bereich geeignete Räume zur Verfügung, in denen Kinder spielen können, ohne andere Gäste zu stören.

• Christina (7/5): Ein wunderbares und charmantes Hotel - Die Unterkunft hat uns insbesondere wegen ihres Charmes und der Historie des Hauses gefallen. Aber auch das gesamte Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider sind die Zimmer unglaublich hellhörig und länger zu schlafen war in der Früh nicht möglich. Check-Out bis 11 Uhr würde den Abreisetag ein wenig entspannter machen.

• senju (9/5): 昔ながらのヨーロッパの建物に泊まりたいなら絶対にここ！ - 内装が昔ながらで、とてもレトロで素敵なホテルでした。 まるでシンデレラのお家に迷い込んだ気分になれます。 朝食もチーズや生ハム、ヨーグルトにパン、野菜も少しあり、満足できる内容でした。 シャワールームはフロアごとに共有でしたが、とても綺麗に掃除されており快適でした。 バスタオルも用意されています。 スタッフは若い方が多いですが、困った時は親切に対応してくださります。 施設が昔ながらということもあり、床やベッドがギシギシいいます。 壁もとても薄く、隣の部屋の音がよく聞こえます。 ベッドマットは少し柔らかすぎました。 シングルルームはコンセントが一つしかありませんでした。 しかし、それらも愛おしいほど内装が素敵で また宿泊したいと思えました。
• Jimmy (9/5): Expensive hotel with great views. - From Stechelberg catch the cableway get to Murren (this is the mega Cable way which goes to Birg and all the way up to Shilthorn). Or a smaller cableway car which takes you to Stechelberg - Gimmelwald - Murren, you need to switch cable cars at Gimmelwald). Murren has two cableway stations, Murren BLM and Murren(the Shilthorn line). I got the Berner Oberland 10 day pass and rode the cableways/trains many times. My room has great views of the mountains when the skies cleared. Breakfast is good. Fantastic baked bread from local area. Staff is helpful. You can ask the kitchen for hot water if you want to make some hot drinks or for your cup noodles. Eating out is expensive at Murren. The room we booked don't have microwave and kettle. Apparently the hotel removed kettles because some foolish customer boiled instant noodles in the kettle, thus causing a mess and damaging it. I recommend buying some food at Coop, Lauterbrunnen. Or just find a cheap food in Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald, maybe Wengen. There is one shared toilet for men and one for women. The shower area is combined which makes it awkward. Toilet and showers are clean all the time. Just have to make sure your number 2 isn't done during peak time.

We need to do our coffee by ourselves with the coffee machine, the staff rejected our coffee request, the reason was they are busy. We dont mind, but could be better for this matter

Tive problema com a cama, solicitei cama de casal, mas ao realizar o check-in fui informado que seria de solteiro. Poderia ter mais vasos sanitários por andar.

• Youngren (10/5): Loved every minute! - Absolutely loved our magical stay here! It is a beautiful old hotel, stunning views, with cozy beds and bedding. Shared bathrooms were clean and easy. Breakfast was delicious! Mürren is a wonderful for exploring - and we really enjoyed the pass to the local pool as well! No down sides from my perspective- I loved it so much!
• Urs (8/5): - Gute Lage mitten im Dorf. Die Matratze / Bett war so weich, dass ich mir nach der ersten Nacht überlegte, sie auf den Boden zu legen und da zu nächtigen. Die zweite Nacht habe ich dann aber das Bett mit meiner Tochter getauscht welches gut war.

The dining room is an experience - amazing views of the mountains (when they show themselves) & beautiful heritage architecture/decor. We had a shared bathroom which we were worried about but there was no need to be as it was kept very clean/tidy and in order the whole time we were there. Our breakfast was included and it was nice overall - I especially liked the Bircher myself! The only thing that could be improved was the bed. Unfortunately I found it very uncomfortable - just needed a new mattress.

• Kurt (3/5): Typical hotel/hostel facilities with poor staff management - The building was what you would expect as a hotel/hostel. Shared bathroom and showers were fine. Rooms with a bed were fine and do the job The staff that worked here either didn't know what they were doing or didn’t care. When asked about laundry nearby to wash clothes we were given a vague response of somewhere to wash clothes but that they had no dryer. No effort to really help out. At breakfast the coffee machine was broken every morning. The response was to go to the other room to get one but none of the guests knew where he was referring to and once again little care was given. The next morning a fellow staff member was taking orders. After about 5 minutes she disappeared and never came back. The other team member kept telling guests someone was coming to take orders but nobody ever returned. No follow up or effort on anyones part. We also came home after a hike and decided to sit outside on the empty terrace as it was the only place to sit that wasnt in a cramped room. Despite no other guests around the staff came out to tell us we had to order food or drink to stay there. This seemed pretty petty seeing as we were guests at the hotel and we had nowhere else to sit besides our room.

Indoor lounge area was large, comfortable, quiet and classy. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Where there were communal facilities (toilet/showers) these were clean and never busy

• Irina (9/5): - Про отель написано много, читала отзывы, всё как и ожидалось. Но свои ощущения это для каждого своё. Виды и расположение отеля перекрывают все нюансы старого исторического отеля, в котором, как прочитали, останавливался Кандинский. В брошюре об исторических отелях Швейцарии написано про Regina, что бывшие постояльцы вложили деньги и восстановили его как отель, и это того стоит! Да общие туалетные комнаты и душевые это не совсем удобно, есть раковина для умывания в номере. Для нас самым неудобным стали кровати с плохими матрасами и подушками. Молодой персонал везде и на стойке регистрации, и в ресторане, и при уборке номеров вносит такой шарм сочетания старого и нового, что отель от этого становится ещё более милым. Читали восторженные отзывы о завтраках, могу сказать как человек, который сам увлекается выпечкой хлеба на закваске хлеб там просто свежий, тёплый, свежевыпеченный с зерновыми добавками , но не шедевр.

• Elke (5/5): Schoenes historisches Hotel zum Premium-Preis mit Hostel-'Komfort' und limitiertem Restaurant - Die Lage ist super, herrliche Aussicht ins Tal, Entfernung von der Gondelbahn ok. Die Terrasse und das Restaurant sind schlicht moebliert aber sehr schoen und man kann noch etwas vom alten Charm der frueheren Zeit spueren. An der Rezeption hat man uns auf Nachfrage vorab telefonisch ueber die beste Parkmoeglichkeit informiert. Das Fruehstueck ist sehr schlicht fuer den Preis, ausser gekochte Eier gab es nichts Warmes. Das Zimmer war groessenmaessig ok, auf dem Balkon keine Stuehle (andere Balkone hatten sie) Mehr als 1 Toilette je fuer Frauen und Maenner pro Etage waere sehr wuenschenswert Das Restaurant-Konzept ist unflexibel und profitmaximiert. Man kann selbst als Hotelgast nur abends dort essen, wenn man rechtzeitig reserviert hat und man muss mindestens 2 Gaenge nehmen, also sehr hochpreisig. Es gibt aber nur 2 Gerichte pro Tag, davon 1 vegetarisch.

• René (7/5): - Das Hotel liegt an guter Lage im Dorf Mürren. Die Zimmereinrichtungen werden als "Nostalgie" verkauft, sind aber bei verschiedenen Sachen an der grenze zu Nachlässigkeit. Preis Leistung für Hochsaison aber insgesamt OK.
