- RoadGuys2 (8/5): Best location. - Valet parking with a fairly easy check in was super convenient. From car to room in 2 or 3 minutes. Perfect location to Pinnacle Arena and fun restaurants in the Haymarket. Hotel also has great amenities but, no breakfast. - 1 star for cost.

- JDS1772 (10/5): Great Stay! - Stayed here prior to a race and found it clean, quiet, and appreciated the upgrade. The French toast and strawberries for breakfast were so good! I felt safe parking across the street in the garage.I would certainly stay here again and would recommend this to others. In my opinion, I preferred this hotel to the Cornhusker hotel on P Street, where I stayed previously. Also I was appreciative my room was ready prior to check in time and I got a mobile key.
- David (6/5): Great Hotel/Horrible Parking - The hotel was pretty good. The parking was HORRIBLE. On Friday night, could not find a spot other than the 10 min. Loading Zone. The only parking provided/recommended by the hotel was a city lot and it got FULL. Also, we ended up spending another $20 or so, on top of an EXPENSIVE HOTEL to pay for parking. I guess they figure they can gouge you if you can afford a nice hotel.
- 1sjdjdj (8/5): First time to Nebraska on our trip out west. - We enjoyed our stay with another couple at the courtyard by Marriott. We were there for one night on our trip out west. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, the location was downtown in the entertainment district, which gave us a lot of dining options within walking distance. We used the pool and the fitness facility and the hot tub which were all very clean and well equipped. The only negatives were that they do not have a continental breakfast and parking was offsite in a parking garage that you had to pay for, not a terrible thing, but just not something that we are used to doing.

- Carin (4/5): We won’t stay again - The location We have a truck that didn’t fit in the underground garage, the front desk person told us there is large size parking 1 block down. It was 4 blocks away in a parking lot that had no security or cameras, not safe. When in fact the parking on the street in front and side of the hotel were free from 6pm -8am. Paying $210 and not having safe proper parking is unacceptable. The ice maker on our floor was broken, the pool ladder was loose unsafe to use. The restaurant recommended was the worst . We were totally unsatisfied

No microwave in the room to heat back support. Bring your own toilet paper. No one uses that 5,000 yard per roll single ply.

- Andrew (10/5): - There was construction going on next door to the hotel and we occasionally had people dragging cables or equipment past the windows of the ballroom where I was sitting through a corporate training. It was not a problem though. We took it as an opportunity to have a little chuckle and didn't let it bother us. The staff was excellent and helpful, both at the front desk and at the Bistro. The location was ideal, being within a few blocks of at least a dozen restaurants, as well as the arena and the stadium for the University of Nebraska. Highly recommend!

They were so pleasant and accommodating. The staff in The Bistro was great. There was a large group of us and they did a great job serving us and making sure everyone was comfortable. We were attending an event and the hotel shuttled those of us who have some trouble walking and then picked us up. That was greatly appreciated..

- MikesWanders (8/5): Typical CY stay - I’m in the middle of a stay now at this hotel, my first. It is just me on this stay, which is for seven nights. I will likely make reference to the Hyatt Place where I stayed for a week earlier this month. The room type I booked is a 1 Bedroom Suite; it has a king bed and a sofa bed. I checked in after 8:00 PM. The check in was efficient and friendly. Ther rate I booked included either self or valet parking; I decided to try the valet option for a few nights. The garage is across the street from the hotel. I was given some coupons for $10 worth of food for each day thanks to my Titanium status with Marriott. Of course, this isn't enough to buy a breakfast entree let alone add a coffee and juice. That’s Marriott for you; you need an advanced degree to understand their benefits. First impression was that it was pretty much like I expected. It was a corner hotel room with an adjoining additional room which did not have a bathroom. There was a sink, microwave and refrigerator in the extra room along with a sofa bed, two chairs, a desk and another TV. The bedroom was average sized. The bathroom has a nice sized walk in shower, sink, toilet. The bedroom was cool; the thermostat was set to 67 and it was 0 degrees outside. I set the temp up to 70. The units are those under window units but are controlled by a thermostat; not crazy about the window units. The door separating the two rooms would not stay open so I blocked it open with my suitcase. When I returned from dinner, the bedroom was still not any warmer but the other room was. The thermostat in the bedroom said 75; it was not 75. I had a good night sleep, only being awaken a few times by the trucks at the post office outside my window. I had stopped at the Bistro to get a glass of wine around 9:45, but the lady said she closed it down early. The valet parking was fast and efficient. Very nice when it is cold outside. I used the workout room in the morning. It had modern, nice equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, stair machines and free weights. I grabbed my breakfast coupons and headed to the Bistro. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, bottle of water and a coffee and surrendered two of my breakfast coupons which didn’t cover what I had selected. When the sandwich was rung up, it rang at $1.50 more than the menu and menu board stated. I mentioned that and got a "oh, I don't know." Later, the manager of the bistro came to me and acknowledged it was wrong and offered to remove the tip that I had left. Told her 'no', leave the tip. The sandwich was delivered, no side or anything, on a fancy plastic plate with plastic silverware. It was ok. The lobby area of the Courtyard is nice, and they have some seating outside that looks like it would be nice in the warmer months. The lobby is fairly large, has a few TV’s and lots of places to plug in. It's really nice to do work in. So as of now, if I were to need a hotel for a stay for either myself or with my family, I’m probably going with the Hyatt Place. The room at the Courtyard is a bit nicer, but the inability to control the temperature negates that. Valet parking as an option at the Courtyard is nice and is not an option at the Hyatt Place. I tend to not use valet in hotels like this though because I’m too impatient to wait. The lobby area of the Courtyard is nicer than the Hyatt Place. The workout rooms are a push for what I need. Sleep quality was better for me at the Hyatt Place due to no semi-trucks hauling mail (need better sound proofing for the windows) and being able to control the temperature at the Courtyard. Breakfast at the Hyatt Place was easier, better and didn’t feel as cheap. Easier because it was included and didn’t require me to have coupons that don’t cover the cost of the most basic of breakfasts. Better because the food was better and there were more options. Didn’t feel as cheap because while I know it was mass produced food, there was silverware and glasses used, not paper cups and plastic wrapped plastic. That's not to say the CY is bad; not at all. The whole breakfast coupon thing is frustrating; that's not this CY's fault at all. Getting a bottle or two of water each day is nice as well; Hyatt Place does that, CY does not. I haven’t ever stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn; maybe that will be my next stay here in Lincoln.

Wifi did not work for all the days I was there , was told to contact my UK service provider to sort this out on Marriot hotel WiFi. Was expensive for what it is. Staff can never find my Marriot number in the system . Windows are so thin that street noise is very evident . Has a feel that it was built really quickly , and its beginning to show.

- Brittni (8/5): Great stay after figuring out the parking - The location was amazing. We were so close to PBA and found it easy to walk around downtown. We loved being able to see Memorial stadium out of our window. Our room was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. We heard a little of the construction work in the morning but nothing too bad. We had fun swimming in the pool and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast of warmed scones and coffee. We did encounter a few inconveniences while parking that I wished the staff would have been more knowledgeable and helpful about. At check in I was directed to the parking garage across the street to park however when I was walking back to My vehicle I noticed there was a sign saying it was full ( the Haymarket was busy with a baseball game and concert) so I went back in and asked the same gal at the front desk where the next place she would recommend. She stated that I could still park in the garage since the sign’s flashing lights weren’t on. So I tried it but couldn’t get in. Someone came on over the parking garage intercom and I was instructed to put my hazard lights on and run back to the front desk and get a parking card. So what I thought was a $11 parking fee turned into almost $20. I believe if I would have drove around the block could’ve gotten into the same parking garage for $11. Anyway, it was a bit stressful parking and after my third time talking to the same front desk person… I finally was able to park. I feel like the hotel was blaming the parking garage and the parking garage was blaming the hotel.

Everything was in new condition. The room has plenty of outlets for charging, and lots of space to relax. I honestly couldn't tell you if there were people in the neighboring rooms because I heard the occasional room door on the floor, but not much else.

Breakfast was a bit pricey. 2 yogurt/friut/granola bowls, a regular sized latte and a bottle of water were $25. I prepaid for my room through hotels.com but hotel charged me again when i checked in. Charge was not removed until day after I checked out.
