They overbooked their facilities and my boyfriend and his team were traveling for baseball and were unable to stay the weekend after they paid and booked rooms. They were forced to drive back home after their games each day. This was extremely inconvenient for the whole team and he also missed a concert we had tickets for because of this. The attitude toward the major inconvenience by the staff was not pleasing.

A GOOD MEAL TO START THE DAY. THE COFFEE WAS ALWAYS HOT. SHOWER COULD HAVE HAD MORE THAN ONE GRAB BAR FOR THE SAFETY OF SENIOR CUSTOMERS.

• Hunter (5/5): It’s convenient to the festival but not one of my favorites - The refrigerator was broken in the room , the window covering was broken so had to sleep with the shade up. By the second night we had no choice but to keep the shade lowered to get some sleep

• EvgeniaW (1/5): - My only compliment goes to the receptionist who was very apologetic, nice, and kind. They did not even provide a mask for her while doing this awful construction. When I walked in, it was difficult to breathe due to the thick white cloud of dust in the reception area where they were demoing the tile floors. I liked nothing. The room did not have a proper shade to block the light, it smelled like a damp place, the mattresses were 100 years old, my dog found a pair of random socks on the floor, and the bathroom had not been renovated in a long time. I went to bed without taking my clothes off and made sure to leave asdap in the morning, not even bothering to check the free breakfast. Not clean, pretty run-down property.

• Linda (10/5): Great hotel - The hotel was very clean and updated. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating. A hot breakfast was served every day. Excellent hotel, highly recommended.

• Gabriela (1/5): Smells horrible!! - Nothing. I' ll never again stay at this hotel or recomanded. The smell of mold in the room was unbearable. Neither I nor my children could sleep all night, due to both the awful odor and the noise from the elevator and the train honking during the night. We were disgusted to use the towels — the only one we opened had huge holes, as if it had been chewed by rats. The bathroom furniture was completely damaged by moisture, and the shower smelled terrible. We left the hotel with the smell of mold stuck in our clothes. At breakfast, we didn’t dare consume anything other than liquids.

• Ooopauline (9/5): Nice stay for a night – clean, friendly, and well located - We stayed for one night and had a good experience. The hotel is in a convenient location, the room was clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly. While the bathroom could use some updating, everything was functional and tidy. Breakfast was basic (as is typical in the US), but fine for a short stay. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable night.

• Tina (8/5): Overall great stay - I liked the location to Metairie. Walmart was about 2 miles down the road. The pool was very nice and we used it a lot. The breakfast was ok. We had kids and they ate it just fine. Eggs biscuits (make your waffles) sausage coffee juice milk etc. Kind of old and needed some paint and spruce up. For the money, I expected much better.

The towels were dirty. One towel was on the floor under the sink. Housekeeping needs to do a better job.

The beds were comfortable but they needed a few smaller pillows and the shower had plenty of water pressure with a massaging head, which was nice.
