- Peter (10/5): - It served it's purpose.
- Terrell (8/5): - Clean
- James (6/5): - There were cockroaches in the room.
Room appears to be recently remodeled.
- Alejandro (10/5): - I came here so I can run the rose bowl half marathon. I was able to do late check out for no extra charge which was amazing.
- Chris (8/5): - Aight
- Orlando (6/5): It’s a Motel! - I didn’t realize I had booked a room at a MOTEL! I pulled into lot and was greeted by a homeless man and his shopping carts. The Office is a window! The room was decent. Room was clean and apparently recently renovated. If in the area I might rebook. If traveling with wife and kids, no go!
- Steven (4/5): - No hot water for the shower or shave. No iron board and iron even though it’s listed online no blankets.
- Ryan (8/5): - Only 1.5 mile walk to rose bowl
- Jacob (4/5): - Couple good things for room 124:
1. Check-in was quick and easy.
2. Easy access to room and to vehicle.
The not-so-goods:
1. Sheets had holes and burn marks on them.
2. Toilet flusher was not connected so i could not flush.
3. Bed is flat and hard, not comfortable at all.
4. If noise is an issue, don’t stay here.
5. The list goes on.
The most important info;
If you really just need a spot, this is great.
If you got a BIG truck, you won’t find parking, you’ll be on the street.
Expect the worst, hope for the best.
The operators are nice and accommodating.
Thank You.
- Keri (2/5): - Almost everything was broken, most of the outlets didn’t work, the outlets actually broke my phone charger probably permanently, fridge and microwave not working, terrible decor, people were smoking, making noise in the night, etc, seemed like they have people living there, horrible bed with no blankets only white sheets, a weird fuzzy board thing inside, and a red top sheet, tub stopper broken, no shampoo conditioner body wash or iron or hair dryer
- Tami (8/5): - Easy to access and basic necessities.
- Reiner (8/5): - Clean, economic, easy access. Close to highway
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The place need fumigation!!! Some animal stung me!!!!
- Eva (10/5): - We enjoyed it
- craig_traveler (8/5): Rough around the edges bit gets the job done - Pretty straightforward motel. not in proximity to anything but parking is free and freeway literally just outside. Rooms are very clean and come with fridge and microwave and plenty of desk level outlets for charging devices, etc. While rough around the edges, the motel gets the job done.
- Austin (4/5): - Room looks good, the tv was good. The bed was extremely hard, pillows were paper thin.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The power went out almost 1 hr after we checked in and didn’t come back on until around 9pm. No one at the front desk answered or gave us any explanation or apology as for why the power was out. It was very hot and miserable without an ac
- Rachel (8/5): - Lincoln is a great example lace to stay if your attending any Rose Bowl event… it’s walkable.
- Denise (8/5): - It is very close to the freeway, easy access but also some road noise. The exterior of the building didn't look like much, but the room was very clean, and there was some covered parking which was nice.
- Natyia (10/5): - Nice place
- Joshua (6/5): - This place is in a good area over all but just really dirty.
- Rachel (10/5): - Great location for the half marathon. Mike at the front desk was very helpful. House-keepers were friendly and did an excellent job.
- armen (2/5): - Room was filthy, there was a nasty loogie/spit on the wall next to bedheqd.
- Paul (8/5): Close to Rose Bowl but not worth it. - Place smelt like pot everywhere. So many no smoking signs but smelled when i walked in the room and on property. Was scolded about asking for towels and too many visitors on property that took all the parking.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible Costumer Service - They don't know how to talk with costumers. The guy at the reception was awful. Better to sleep in your car than in this place...
- Jarron (10/5): - Nice pool
- Bruce (2/5): - A terrible place. The room was very dirty. There were wet towels in the bathroom. There were no wash clause. The bedsheets had stains. And the tenants were up all night fighting and yelling.
- Cory (10/5): - Good
- Kelly (4/5): - The parking was difficult. There were cockroaches and ants in the room. There was no mirror. The door lock was difficult to operate. The toilet paper was see-through.
- Gregory (8/5): - good for just laying your head overnight but not for several days
- christie (6/5): - Check in I had to fill out a piece of paper with my info, we booked on Expedia that was unnecessary. I wont say what was hanging over the shower rod from the last guest but other than that it was clean.
- James (8/5): - Nice place
- Ruthie (10/5): the greatest - the manager was the Best i really enjoy myself and my son love it he wants to go back
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I'm filing a lawsuit against the hotel for infringement of my privacy. I wasn't sure how much I cared about privacy practices of hotels until this hotel disclosed that I booked there to my ex
- Jeffrey (2/5): - I selected this property due to location. Bad idea! The room was not very clean. There were marks and stains on the walls, the air conditioner was incredibly noisy (it did drown out the freeway though). They only supplied bath towels in the room (one of which was stained) there weren't any washcloths, hand towels or bath mat. The shower head sprayed painful jets of high pressure water and the bed felt like it was a concrete slab. The main lighting in the room was a bare fluorescent tube fixture. The flooring wasn't installed properly and squeaked no matter where you stepped. There was a hole in the wall from prior plumbing in the wash basin area. People were coming and going into various rooms at all hours of the night and slamming doors as they left.
- SHAKHIRA (8/5): - Good room ,parking lot is a bit cramped
- Ricardo (2/5): - They were rude
I was alone
At 9 am they wanted me out
- Vanny (10/5): - Friendly and fast service. Price is great!
- M6702AWstefanom (2/5): Terrible, unsafe, dirty. - Terrible, they sell drugs just outside, unsafe, mold everywhere, I’ve never saw a dirtier motel, They treat customers like trash, they charge 2 times the regular price if you want to stay one more night, I’m telling you, you better sleep in a car, hotel rooms smell like a dirty wet dog.
- ef1718 (8/5): Nice simple room - Read my whole review as this rating is based on my needs which may not coincide with yours. I found this hotel when looking for close and cheap accommodations to the Rose Bowl. I had plans to go to the Rose Bowl for the UCLA / Oregon football game and didn't want to drive home after drinking. I arrived around 10:45 am and asked if I can get an early check-in. The person I spoke to first said that he could check me in now but the room won't be available until later (check-in is 2 pm). He then double checked the room inventory and said a room would be available in 15 mins or so. He pointed to a simple table and chair for me to wait. In about 15 mins, he said that the room was ready. The room was small but looked clean and I can smell a little of the disinfectant since just cleaned. Room looked recently remodeled as the painted walls looked very new. Spartan furnishings.
Tables and counters looked pretty new also. I didn't notice any damage. Bathroom too looked newly painted and tub, sink, and fixtures looked new. Below the sink counter is not covered so you can see the pipes. Water pressure and hot water availability was on point. A small refrigerator was provided. No safe. A nice feature of the room is the large TV (for the size of the room) with a very large selection of channels for most everyone's tastes, including multiple HBO channels. WiFi password is revealed when you turn on the TV. WiFi was satisfactory.
THE BiG THING OFF WITH MY ROOM WAS THAT THERE WAS NO MIRROR. Not an issue for me because I always bring a double-sided hand mirror. ALSO, the front door is not properly insulated or flush with the opening. I can see little cracks between door and opening when door was closed. I tried the heater but it didn't appear to blow warm or hot air. Maybe it needs to run for a bit. It wasn't cold enough for a heater or warm enough for A/C when I was there. Major plus for me for this motel was the helpfulness of the staff. Will definitely consider again.
- Dennis (2/5): - Its located in a dark residential area.takes time to open at the lobby even when you ring the bell. We just left. No one was answering.
- Dennis (6/5): - Room very clean; staff friendly and helpful.
Rooms upstairs, no elevator, a challenge for seniors
No wifi in room, had to go downstairs
No ice, no cloths hangers, no coffee maker in room
- Ronie (6/5): - You really shouldn’t be paying over 100$ To stay at this motel. Pictures can be deceiving. Room was not properly cleaned from top to bottom. Hair at the bathroom floor to dust on the tv to dirty walls. Chances are I will not be staying here again.
- Anastacio (8/5): - My stay was wonderful the people were friendly and helpful…
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bring your own linens - Horrible
- Brianna (2/5): - My stay was very unpleasantly expensive!! The price Was very very high I am never ever coming back. I could have stayed at the Hilton for that pay!!! :(
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Easy freeway access
- Christina90 (2/5): - I got eaten alive by bed bugs and not only was the owner (the older gentlemen there in the mornings) extremely ride to me but was rude to my father as well. Check out is ten am and he started calling my room at 930 asking for the key. I needed help carrying some things down with me and the owner wouldn't let my FATHER upstairs to help me carry my things. The younger man who works at night was wonderful but the rude gentleman and the bed bugs kinda ruined my stay. The bathroom smelled like sewer and axe body spray and the toilet wasn't clean. Now I'm covered in bed bug bites and miserable. Just ridiculous and disgusting.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - For the price, this location was a great value. The staff were very friendly and helpful in person, but I had trouble getting them on the phone during business hours. They are conveniently located near a major highway, and very easy to find. They've taken an older building and given it new life. Well maintained in its present form.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staff was very helpful. No closet in the room. No light above the mirror in the bathroom
WiFi was good
- Kevin (10/5): - The front desk was very helpful. My only issue was that there was an atm machine on the premises that did not seem to work. Other than that, will look forward to staying.there again.
- Mark (8/5): Best place for those on a tight budget - The rooms are basic but always clean. We've stayed here about 4 times and plan to come back in the future. Remember, this is not a resort, but a safe place to nest while you enjoy Pasadena. The rooms area is secure and the neighborhood is quiet and clean. Next to a freeway, so maybe bring earplugs. Pre-pay via Hotels.com made check-in hassle free.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I loved the murals in the rooms even on the ceilings. Plenty of light to read by.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Bench press hamhocks - Decent room for the price
- Leah (10/5): - Polite staff and helpful, room clean and tidy although being so close to the traffic was a little noisy but OK. There was a dog barking through the night across the road but not the hotels fault. Would book again no problem, safe and secure. Thanks to the staff
- Joseph (2/5): Not worth it - Towels were dirty (stained) shower stall was broken-could EASILY brain someone if they fell. No floor mats in the bathroom. Television did not work. Blankets and sheets dirty and stained. Hardly any electrical outlets in any place of convenience, bathroom had no ventilation fan, or window, which in CA is illegal.
They obviously just exterminated a ton of bees (instead of just moving their flowers). But they made no effort clean the bodies up.
Vending machine took my money and gave me nothing due to malfunction, and this was “not their responsibility” per the front desk
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Everything was below standards and the owners watched you like a hawk which made you fell very uncomfortable the price was $140 a night way to high for these issues
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Only 2 thin pillows. Only one thin blanket and sheet. Very very hard mattress. Climate control needs thermostat instead of low and high. Very hard to find the right temp while sleeping. Super nice and helpful staff!!!
- david (6/5): motel is run down - The motel is in bad shape.
- SKSA (8/5): Basic & clean,great staff! - Clean and comfortable basic Motel with great staff,free parking,free wifi,a/c, fridge & microwave,flat screen tv.
Missing:No washcloths, hand towels, bath mats or shampoo. No outlet in
bathroom & no hairdryer.
No closet,no place to hang clothed,no drawers,no lamps. (Just 1 over head fluorescent bulb). No coffee maker& ice costs 50cents a bucket.
Would stay again for Rose Bowl functions as it's a nice walk (little over a mile),and staff makes sure you know the way. Would definately stay again and just bring things they don't have that we need.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The location of the motel was excellent. We walked to the Rose Bowl. The motel had a party like atmosphere, with everyone going to a concert. If we go to the Rose Bowl again for a concert we will stay at the Lincoln Motel.
- Ian (4/5): Un clean - Mattress rock hard and quilt cover stained
- Eden (8/5): Basic, but that's all I wanted for a night. - The motel was perfectly adequate for our 1 night stay to see Rolling Stones at the Rose Bowl. Weren't expecting more than a safe place to sleep. Walking to stadium was very easy. Bed was hard, but ok. Shower was good. Owners were pleasant, especially Mike, and helped with our parking issue: we had 2 cars and can't park on city streets 2-6am. Drunk a-hole yelling in parking lot till 2am after the concert was worst of the stay. Never heard freeway noise but room faced inward.
Just know this place is basic, I brought a washcloth cause I read reviews. No toiletries, one outlet where TV plugged in, no lamp, no hangers in our room... but it was fine. Loved the painted murals. The air con worked great. Didn't have a problem with the room looking a bit worn, I wasn't staying at a Hyatt! Overall a nice, close, affordable place for a short stay. I chose it wayyyyyy in advance of the concert for the location: closest lodging to the Rose Bowl. I'd stay there again if opportunity arose.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everything was clean and the motel is in a nice area of Pasadena and right next to the freeway that made traveling easy. Checking in was easy and we checked out by 10 am. My only complaint was the hard mattress.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - close to the Rose Bowl is the only good thing
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Unpleasant experience overall. The check-in was unwelcomingly odd: no greeting, no smiles, no cordial gestures, no assistance with luggage. The room was in an unsafe location directly a step away from the parking lot and the room has a nauseating pungent odor of strong chemicals and fecal matter. The floor was dirty with dark spots, the walls had unclean materials splattered all around, the bathroom had holes in the wall, shower head with mildew, and the walls were thin that noises from the guests next door and above were alarmingly disturbing. The bed was very rough and hard resulting in a stiff back. There were smoke fumes from burning cigarettes and other kinds of substances. The customer service was nonexistent.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The bed was rock hard and all springs. I could deal with the bed, but the lack of cleanliness was disgusting. I dried myself off with a “fresh” towel after a shower, and after using the towel I noticed a long dried crusty yellow/green stain on the other side of the towel. You get what you pay for, buyer beware.
- April (4/5): Skip it - Upon our arrival, as I parked to check in, we saw a group of loud men in the lot playing cards and drinking on a small foldable table. Immediately, my daughter said she was scared, my son said he was uneasy. As I got off, the men turned to me and just stared. I was checking in when my kids were begging me not to. I was uncomfortable. The room they gave me, was above the room where the men were sitting—which meant, we would have to pass by them. I returned to the office and requested the other side of the building (facing street); it meant we would have to isrive around and away from their view. The clerk kindly provided us with that room. The room was hot, stuffy and it smelled moldy. There were cracks in ceiling with water stains. Spider webs. Pillow covers had yellow stains. Shower curtain was dirty. This should’ve been a $30 stay and not a $120! My mistake for basing my stay on photos.
- Dean (8/5): Economical - For an economy motel Lincoln does deliver. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable, well-furnished with towels and soap and free of stale odors of cigarette smoke that you encounter elsewhere. The WiFi is effective but there is no place to setup a laptop computer.
- Lisa (2/5): Disappointed - It was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. They didn't even have washcloths for the guests. The room wasn't clean. So disappointed. And checkout was at 10:00 AM instead of 11:00.
- mahyar (4/5): - The room was so noisy because it was next to the freeway
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Near the Rose Bowl, with easy access to freeway. Basic and clean motel in quiet area.
- Marianne (2/5): SHUT DOWN THIS SCAMMING HOTEL - IT WAS AWFUL! My son's girlfriend was assaulted by the manager - who tried to say that the room was not pre-paid, and it was we had the receipt to prove it. the manager LIED to hotels.com about the verbal abuse - as I was standing right there watching her children. I will NEVER use hotels.com or that hotel ever again I should be given back the 200.00 I spent on a room that my family never got to use. instead, I got a cheesy digital voucher. I am calling lawyers until that money is back on the account from where it was drafted. A report has already been submitted to the BBB as well - I am disputing the charges on my credit card. Charging someone for a service that they did not receive is in fact illegal.
- Sanford (6/5): For a few more dollars you can do a lot better - I needed the cheapest hotel for an unexpected stay. Some plans had fallen through. Room was OK. Bed was very good and the bathroom and shower were very clean. I asked for a wash cloth and never got one. The people who run the place are behind a locked door. It's very impersonal. Obviously there is no lobby. The neighborhood isn't very good, but there is a shopping area a short walk away.
- Nosleep (4/5): - It’s 20 mins away from Glendale Galleria, the noise of all sorts of cars running is unbearable. The aircon stinks, so we did not turned it on. The phone in the room does not work. the beddinngs has strands of hair on it. Check out at 10am. Wouldnt recommend for short stays.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The property was alright, except the manager opened the room without calling. I was told that check out is at 11am, @10:15 the manager opened the door without calling.
- Indranil (6/5): Clean basic room. - Very basic room, but was clean, right next to freeway, ok for a quick night stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The bathroom had mold on the tub walls no end tables by beds overall it sucked
- john (10/5): Clean motel near Johnny's Sports Shop. - Great no nonsense hotel in Pasadena. Excellent art work on murals on all parts of the hotel. Johnny's Sports Shop ( a fishing tackle seller in place for over 60 years) is nearby.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked the fact that this property is within a long walk to Rosebowl stadium. It's all down hill to get there but all uphill to come back. It's still easy to walk from Stadium than get out of the parking lot. The rooms were clean but very dated and smelled a little like curry. It's appears maybe the owners live on the premise. The bed is extra firm and no blankets only a sheet and the bed spread which made for a cold night. The heater did not work. I believe that's on purpose because our neighbors heater did not work either. I must say even though dated the room was very clean. The parking is rough and not very many spots available. You also can only drive in but must pull out backwards into the street of on coming traffic. The owner and the daughter were extremely nice but the wife not so much. She keep telling us to be quiet when we stood outside to talk with the neighbors. It was 10 am not evening and where not even that loud. Location is pretty much all you get with this hotel. Personally I would only stay here again if there was an event at the Rosebowl. If you're looking for comfort try something else but if you're just looking for a place to crash this is the place for you.
- Bea (10/5): - Staff was very nice. Walking distance to Rose Bowl. Staff very informative. Room wasn’t very big but was clean.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Shower didn't work properly, issues with t.v., terribly filthy floors
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I liked the location of the property because it was really close by the area where I was attending an event in downtown Pasadena. It was also really close by shopping and fast food places as well. Had no issues with the staff. Thank you.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Noisy and the TV didn't work. Staff unavailable after 1030 to assist
- sumer (2/5): Not a vacation hotel - The bedding had children marker drawings on it the bedding also had a childrens fuzzy blanket over the top sheet. There was only 1 light over the door and no outlets in the bathroom. There also was no coffee pot or coffee amenity to be found. Parking was horrible.
- Agnes (6/5): - The location was good, the parking lot is very small and very difficult to turn around in as you enter the same way as you depart.
The room was tiny and the lighting hurt my eyes. My television didn’t work and as stated before there weren’t any face cloths.
- Thomas (8/5): Nice little motel, not worth the location - Worst location. Literally nothing. Is around the area
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I payec extra for 2 queen beds and was given 2 fullsize beds. Hotel had roaches.
- Wais (2/5): - Very upset. Found a roach on the bed.
Someone fighting outside my door. Stayed 1 hour and left do to how terrible it was.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I didn't like the fact that and have shampoo, you had to ask for face towels, & they had mold in the ceiling of the shower
- anjanettew2019 (10/5): Really surprised - Oh my goodness what have I gotten myself into. What I found was immaculately clean Hotel with awesome service from the staff. Don't let the exterior fool you this place is worth it if you're just looking for a place to lay your head take a shower so you can go out and play in Pasadena. I highly recommend
- Jacob (2/5): Slumlords for owners and toxic environment - This was the worst place I've ever stayed at in all my life! There was was absolutely no heat heat in the room and when it brought it up to the owner he yelled at me saying that I'm an idiot and don't know how to turn the knob to heat. I am a critical care nurse, I can fix the human heart but can't turn on heater? Also, there were burn marks all over the blankets and a black mold in the shower. It was so bad I couldn't even make it through thr night because I was freezing to death. I've never been so disgusted by a hotel and by such awful customer service. These people are slumlords and don't know the first thing about customer service. Beware you have been warned.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Watch this one carefully! - My wife did not like this one and all. It did not seem to be in a very good area and she saw a red light on the motel as we were leaving. Watch out for this guy because he will never give you a refund once you have paid. Or probably even after you have made your reservation. Look carefully before booking this particular one. This must be the way he gets his income. The room looks OK for a low grade room painted ok but two closets for the bathroom and a place to put your clothes. The bed and one or two other things is all you had in the main room that was not very big. We stayed at another location.
