- Peter (10/5): Living like royalty - The place is amazing. The first impression at arrival is of a fortress. Once you step in to the building you are engulfed with the beauty of a castle. When you finally enter your room it feels like being in a palace with your bed located under a vaulted ceiling. My wife and I felt like being the monarchs of Soto del Barco. The heating of the room could have been somewhat more responsive to our royalty demands

El desayuno y la cena delicioso todo y la atención de Blanca super, muy simpática y agradable la señorita. Menos mal que cusndo coji la hab. no inclui cena, porque pagar 80 eur por cenar eso me hubiera fastidiado bastante. Nos fuimos a cenar a un restaurante que se llama el parador que esta en el pueblo muy cerquita del hotel. Cenamos fenomenal y ademas raciones muy grandes. Por lo demas el hotel muy bonito y el spa esta bien pero e estado en mejores.

- Hélène (9/5): Vrai Spa et bel hôtel à deux pas de l’aéroport - Le spa privatisé est très grand et très bien équipé. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Nous avions choisi l’hôtel car à deux pas de l’aéroport. Pratique quand le vol est à 6h Pas de chance je jour du 1er de l’an la cafeteria et bar étaient fermés. Régler le hammam un peu plus chaud serait top

- Elia María (7/5): Bonito y especial pero necesita cambios - Lo que más me ha gustado es el estar en un hotel donde estás disfrutando desde dentro el estar en un palacio en el que podrías invertir tu tiempo solo en ir a visitarlo. Resulta especial pasar la noche allí. Creo que cuando decides alojarte en un sitio así asumes que al mobiliario se le van a notar mucho los años. Pero creo que hay ciertas cosas como por ejemplo la taza del wc que si no está en condiciones hay que invertir dinero en cambiarla inmediatamente puesto que estás pagando un hotel de 4 estrellas.

- Elena (7/5): Un sitio bonito e imponente al que le falta mimo - El sitio en si es muy bonito, un palacio reacondicionado como hotel, al entrar la entrada es espectacular. Los pasillos muy bonitos y todo muy imponente. La cena (en nuestro caso menú) y el desayuno muy ricos. El personal es muy amable y atento. La habitación muy grande y amplia, con un baño grande con bañera. La cama, además, era bastante cómoda. Aunque la habitación no estaba mal, ya que era grande y amplia, le faltaba algo de mimo en cuanto a mantenimiento y detalles si piensas en el precio a cobrar. Papel pintado de la pared en muchos lados levantado, la bañera que estaba medio atascada y no tragaba el agua, la tapa del inodoro con un roto mal pintado en su zona superior (una sola reserva da para una tapa nueva), el termostato de la calefacción, le faltaba el embellecedor del regulador, haciendo que tuvieras que usar el mecanismo directamente y se viera roto. Un edredón fino, hubiera estado bien, la calefacción de aire no daba la impresión de calentar el ambiente, solo conseguía resecarlo. El Spa, aunque completo, se le veía muy mal mantenido haciendo que no fuera especialmente agradable la experiencia. Además que el agua en el jacuzzi estaba fría. Las saunas se veían muy mal tratadas, la humeda con montón de teselas saltadas en los asientos y la seca, daba la sensación que no funcionaba.

- Knut (5/5): Mehr Schein als Sein - Schöne Architektur, man fühlt sich ins Mittelalter versetzt. Sobald der morgendliche Nebel verstrichen ist geniesst man eine ansprechende Aussicht. Das Gebäude ist kalt! Geheizt über AACC jedoch nicht genug, sodaß man nachts in klirrender Kälte, mit Eiskristallen an den Scheiben unter einem einfachen Bettlaken mit einer kratzigen Wolldecke ausharren muss. Das Restaurant gleicht eher einer asturianischen Kneipe mit entsprechend externen Hotelfremden Gästen. Kein Frühstücksbuffet, keine Kenntnis von internationalen Essenskulturen, die Zubereitung und Präsentation der Speisen ist eher grobschlächtig . Alles in Allem hat das Hotel einen "Blender" Charakter und wenig Charme.

- Estela (10/5): Volvería sin dudarlo. - La comodidad de las camas; la tranquilidad tanto que se encuentra dentro del hotel, incluyendo pasillos, zonas comunes como zonas exteriores donde se respira calma y paz, sin apenas ruidos de coches. En conclusión, que no es un hotel ni una zona ruidosa, es perfecto para desconectar y pasar unos días tranquilos. El circuito de SPA increíble, funcionan a la perfección todos los chorros, las salas, etc., totalmente recomendable. El servicio en todas las maneras magnifico. A nivel personal me gustó todo, la única puntilla por decir algo es que en mi caso, se fue en coche, por lo que considero que el parking debería estar mejor señalizado, pues si se va con GPS, no marca la entrada del aparcamiento como tal. Del mismo modo, cuando llegamos, no había sitio en el parking, tuvimos que bajar una pequeña cuesta con para poder aparcar, sin saber con certeza si lugar para dejar el coche. Tras consultarlo en recepción, se nos dijo que sí era un aparcamiento posible y que no ocurría nada, pero lo mejor es también señalizarlo para evitar estas situaciones que pueden llevar a malententididos o situaciones incomodas.
