• Julia (10/5): Cozy Guest house with rooftop, central location, friendly staff - Wunderschönes gemütliches Guest House in perfekter Lage mit toll angelegter Dachterrasse Leckeres Frühstück, super nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir haben zur Begrüßung ein Glas Portwein bekommen und uns wurden an einem Stadtplan gleich viele wertvolle Tips fürs Sightseeing gegeben. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Nur als Info: Es gibt keinen Aufzug, für mobil eingeschränkte Gäste eher nicht zu empfehlen

• Dominik (6/5): Central - Das ist sehr zentral war Ich warne den Preis schon etwas extrem und ich hatte das Zimmer im ersten Stock. D.h. alle die die Treppen runter gelaufen sind hab ich gehört durch den alten Holzboden, die die ganze Zeit geknirscht hat.

Acqua e bevande sempre disponibili. Costruzione storica tipica ristrutturata. La ristrutturazione è meno recente di quello che appare dalle foto. Poiché il palazzo è storico e ci sono pareti in pietra, c'è un po' odore di muffa nella stanza.

• Lara (1/5): Una gran decepción - Me gustaría dejar constancia de que el alojamiento no tiene ascensor y cuando solicitamos una habitación en planta baja nos la rechazaron. Estuvimos observando y comprobamos que en esa habitación no hubo gente a lo largo del día. Pedimos la devolución gratuita del importe, ya que yo viajaba con una persona con insuficiencia respiratoria y no podía subir los tres pisos hasta nuestra habitación, lo que nos obligó a buscar otro hotel. Finalmente nos cobraron la reserva completa por una habitación que no pudimos utilizar debido a que no era accesible y no pusieron ningun medio para ayudarnos.
• Elena Abeto Sapin (10/5): Personligt mindre hotell - Vi bokade extra stort rum, som visade sig ha fin utsikt över gatan och stan genom stora fönster. Personligt hotell med fåtal rum. Tillgång till flera små uteplatser högst upp. God frukost! Google maps lurade oss från järnvägsstationen, att gå nerför ett flertal trappor. Dagen efter såg vi det fanns mycket bekväm gågata åt andra hållet! Har man besvär gå i trappor så kan det vara en nackdel.

• Maud (9/5): - De l'accueil au départ de l'hôtel tout a été parfait. L'emplacement est vraiment idéal, surtout avec des enfants en bas âge. Le petit-dèj très bon, et équilibré. La chambre spacieuse, propre et nettoyée tous les jours. La gentillesse et la bienveillance de la propriétaire et de son personnel ! L'hôtel est en hyper centre, donc c'est bruyant mais ça n'a pas été un problème pour nous !

• Andrew (10/5): Love Porto and the Cale Guest House is a great base to explore - The staff were helpful, friendly and courteous especially Raquel who greeted us on arrival and helped us find local restaurants. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast very tasty and nicely presented.

• Martha (10/5): Vacaciones en familia en Oporto - La ubicación excelente cerca de todo, en pleno centro histórico, el desayuno muy rico y caliente, las habitaciones cómodas y amplias, el personal muy muy amable, te orientan en todo! No tiene ascensor y nos tocó en el 4to piso subir y bajar gradas, subir y bajar maletas, el personal te ayuda.

• Patrícia (8/5): Conforto perto de tudo. - O quarto familiar é muito funcional e tem uma vista muito bonita. A simpatia dos funcionários. O terraço, muito simpático, precisa de algum cuidado adicional.
• Blanka (5/5): - Paní na recepci byla velmi milá. Bohužel nás nemohla ubytovat. Dozvěděli jsme se to hodinu před tím, než jsme na ubytování dorazili. Nikdo ani Booking nás neinformoval dopředu, že se nelze ubytovat! Bohužel se nám poprvé a doufáme, že naposledy stalo, že nám v den ubytování zrušili rezervaci a informovali nás až ve chvíli, kdy už jsme byli v Portu. Naštěstí se nám podařilo najít nové ubytování.

The shower worked well. Breakfast was OK The shower was over the bath and felt a little risky getting in and out. Not enough coat hangers. Staff at breakfast not very friendly. The breakfast was basic and the coffee terrible
• Samuel (10/5): Localização impecável - Sem dúvidas a localização é o ponto forte. Ponto central para o turismo e da pra fazer tudo a pé. O café da manhã é enxuto mas delicioso com ingredientes de muita qualidade. A anfitriã, Cris, nos recebeu com muito carinho e nos deu várias sugestões de roteiro para desfrutar a cidade, gostamos muito dela. O quarto é bem espaçoso. Não ter elevador (ficamos no ultimo andar 4º) mas essa é uma característica geral dos imóveis no local. O chão de madeira estala bastante também. Mas nada disso atrapalhou a experiência no lugar. Apenas preciosismo mesmo.

Cependant l’escalier est classé et il n’y a pas d’autre solution.

El desayuno está muy bien. Estaba tod bien..nada que no me gustara.

• Maik (9/5): Great stay! - The accommodation is very centrally located. The room with a private bathroom was very nice, spacious, and bright, with a view of the street. A highlight of the place is the rooftop terrace, which offers a wonderful view over parts of the city. The breakfast was also really good. The very friendly host provided us with helpful tips for our stay in Porto. All in all, I highly recommend this accommodation. We didn’t have any complaints. However, both the rooms and the terrace can only be reached via fairly steep stairs. This accommodation is not recommended for people with limited mobility.

• Emmanuel (10/5): Séjour absolument merveilleux - Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse, avec un verre de porto et des petits gâteaux, une attention qui nous a tout de suite mis à l’aise. La chambre était très agréable, avec de délicates attentions comme des petites douceurs et de l’eau à disposition. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent, avec un vrai jus d’orange frais, ce qui est rare et très apprécié ! L’emplacement est idéal pour profiter pleinement de la ville. Et le petit plus qui fait toute la différence : un charmant espace extérieur rien que pour nous, parfait pour se détendre. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ce séjour et recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés !

The property itself is a charming historical building, beautifully preserved and full of character. The terrace is absolutely delightful — a serene and elegant space where we loved spending quiet moments. Breakfast was exceptional: fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared, setting a beautiful tone for each day. What made our experience especially meaningful was the genuine kindness and care of our host. Traveling with a baby can require so many small details, and each one had been carefully anticipated. A baby cot, bottle warmer, kettle, baby bath, high chair — everything was thoughtfully provided, making us feel truly welcomed and supported. It is rare to find a place that combines beauty, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality so seamlessly. We left with gratitude and would return with great pleasure. • Congmin (7/5): Good location & breakfast for a short stay in central Porto - Prime location, easy to get around. Good breakfast providing. Friendly staff. The property was having some work & painting done. Air ventilation and insulation wasn’t the best. Floor was not very clean.

Carina la.visita sopra i tetti della citta' che si può godere dalla terrazza (ma ci sono vari scalini, anche ripidi da fare) Il palazzo è antico e non ha un ascensore interno. Noi siamo capitati al 4' piano e con i bagagli ed i bambini è un po' scomodo

A localização do hotel é perfeita e com as dicas da Cris, foi uma experiencia muito mais produtiva, quando retornar ao Porto, com certeza irei me hospedar novamente no Cale. E por fim, mas não menos importante, a limpeza foi excelente e o Pequeno almoço, também.

• ufuomanefe (9/5): Would stay again.. - - Amazing breakfast selection. -Amazing views from the terrace and room 7. -Room size was excellent and had a separate small living room area. -Warm. -Great extras- kettle, biscuits, water, blankets. -location is great. -Extremely helpful and warm staff- Crís really helped with bags, Laura helped to give city tips and placed our bags in our room as we couldn't check in as we arrived very early. Grateful as we had to walk over 3 flights of stairs! -On 2 occasions the receptionists (not Crís) got our bags mixed up and placed them in incorrect rooms. Luckily the accommodation is small and secure, but this could be unsafe. - no lift, so be mindful how much you travel with. - consider having a mirror in the living room or a mirror with lights around it for makeup!
