(10/5): Bacio accademico - Posizione ottimale per visitare la città, proprietari cortesi, (è stato possibile lasciare i bagagli sia prima del check-in che dopo il checkout), camera ampia e materasso comodo. Buona la colazione con vario assortimento di prodotti. Disponibili sia materiale per caffè o te che i cuscini per l'arena. Già pensato di tornare il prossimo anno.

• Mr J (10/5): Check in is easy! - A number of people have commented on check-in. With my rudimentary Italian and Google Translate, I called 24 hours ahead and had a lovely conversation. We actually arrived 2 hours ahead of when we planned, and we met the hotel owner and got the keys within about 10 minutes. Location is absolutely spot on for the Arena, Bra, buses, the old city, bars and restaurants.

• José Ramon (8/5): Todo correcto - Antes de viajar le dije que a lo mejor llegaba más tarde de las 22:00 horas y me contestó que me esperaba sin peoblemas, además como salíamos muy temprano nos dejó abierto el pequeño comedor para que desayunamos nos pareció un detalle, nos ofreció pagar con tarjeta pero al final preferí en metalico, en general todo limpio súper bien ubicado y para repetir
• Cristian (6/5): Attenzione, chiamate prima di arrivare - Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto pernottare nella struttura prenotata. Mentre eravamo in viaggio per il B&B abbiamo chiamato per informazioni e ci hanno detto che non risultava la prenotazione e che comunque le camere erano piene. Dopo pochi minuti la prenotazione l'avevano trovata ma ci hanno dovuti dirottare presso altra struttura, B&B Sweet Verona, che era un po' più lontana dal centro. Presso B&B Sweet Verona (sembrava appena ristrutturato) ci hanno accolti e subito informati che non si poteva effettuare il pagamento con carte/bancomat. La camera era molto grossa, pulita e ben arredata ma peccava di difetti di manutenzione ordinaria. La tapparella non scendeva completamente, rubinetto del bagno non era fissato e usciva solo un filo di acqua calda (la fredda era abbondante), il doccino era montato ad un'altezza di circa 1.50 m. La colazione era si abbondante ma con dei MA. 1. Caffè, cappuccino, cioccolata, ecc... della macchinetta. 2. Brioches, biscotti, pane ecc... confezionati (discount). 3. Vista la scarsità di posti a sedere e tazze l'ultimo giorno abbiamo dovuto attendere qualche minuto in modo che venissero lavate le stoviglie e per non attendere ulteriormente abbiamo fatto colazione in camera (c'era un tavolino con 2 sedie).
• Verified traveler (2/5): - This was by far the worst experience I’ve had!!! I booked many hotels and had no issues but this hotel was the most frustrating. The train was delayed so we missed our connection. Check in closes at 10pm. I emailed and also text the hotel that I would arrive on time but right around 9:45. I arrived at 9:45 but they closed. I called and the lady answered. I told her we are down stairs and she would not let us in. She said Check in closes at 9 and I said the website said 10. She was awake and we had nowhere else to go. I asked her to let us in since we already had booking. She hung up on me. I called many other times but did not answer and left us stranded. Had to walk around for over an hour looking for another hotel. Terrible service. Just really awful thing she did. I would not recommend this hotel period!!!

• MARTHA (4/5): No nos dieron lo que reservamos - Hice la reserva con 5 meses de anticipación y cuando llegamos no encontrabamos el hotel porque nos cambiaron de edificio. El hotel donde nos tocó no tenía colchones sino colchonetas, muy incomodas. La señora nos rebajó 10 euros por el cambio de hotel pero esto no es cuestion de dinero sino que te deben dar lo que reservas. Es una falta de respeto y de buena organización

Ideale Lage für Besuch der Arena und Besichtigungen in Verona. B&B im 4. Stock. Mit Aufzug. Ankunft im Vorfeld abstimmen, damit zur Schlüsselübergabe jemand vor Ort ist. Besitzerin sehr freundlich. Verständigung mit italienisch und englisch. Geparkt kann in TG des gegenüberliegenden Supermarktes werden. €15,00/Tag. Garage schließt Nachts, morgens ab 9 Uhr offen. Hat super geklappt. Die Zimmer sind sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Hübsche Aussicht in Innenhof. Sehr ruhig.

• Allison (8/5): - The location of the hotel can't be beat. A 2 min walk from Piazza Bra and at most 15mins from all other popular sites. There is also a very nice grocery store across the street. The room was fine, nothing special but comfortable. I visited when it wss very warm and there is not a individual control of the AC in each room which was definitely hard. There was a control in the hallway but it had a sign that said not to touch it. It was also disappointing that there was a strong smell of smoke in the hallways and in the breakfast room. It was clear that there was not supposed to be smoking in the hotel but obviously there were guests ignoring that rule. There is also no 24/7 staff so it was gone unnoticed. It was a decent stay but with all of the options in Verona, I would try and do something different if I went again.
• Nicola (4/5): Cambio bed & Breakfat senza saperlo - Avevo prenotato in questo determinato Bad & Breakfast perchè dalle foto sembrava essere molto carino, balcone, divano e una grossa camera a due passi dal centro PECCATO CHE NON CI SONO MAI STATO. Arrivo a verona con la mia fidanzata e alle 14 suoniamo al campanello del bed and breakfast e ci dicono che siamo stati spostati e che la nostra camera non è assolutamente quella della foto, senza balcone (cosa che mi aveva convinto a scegliere quell'albergo). La loro giustificazione è stata che gestivano più bad and breakfast. Assolutamente sconsigliato.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Posto strategico per vedere Verona - Ci siamo andati a Febbraio, il B&B si trova dietro l'Arena in una stradina tranquilla, davanti c'è un supermercato aperto fino alle 23,00 comodo per ogni necessità. Gli unici difetti sono la difficoltà di trovare un posto libero per la macchina e la mancanza del bidet nel bagno della camera. Colazione varia ed abbondante.
• ELENA (8/5): Se piensan que al ser turista todo vale! - llegamos más tarde de las 22 y nos cambiaron de edificio porque había un problema eléctrico y nos pusieron en una habitación que no tenía nada que ver con la contratada sobre todo porque el baño era fuera de la habitación y nos quisieron cobrar lo.mismo!. Tras leer esta opinión el dueño al parecer se molestó porque al día siguiente me lo echó en cara y me dijo que no era cierto que el baño era compartido y yo le comenté que en España un baño fuera de la habitación no es privado. Además nadie me explicó las condiciones ya que solo había una persona que intentaba traducir con un teléfono lo que me quería decir. En ningún momento se hizo el check in de viajeros con nuestros datos y nuestra identificación.Tras este comentario el dueño me dijo que me regalaba las tasas de viajero, 6€, al pedir dejar las maletas, nuestro vuelo salía de noche, me dijo que no tenía ese servicio por escrito en la web. Sin duda estaba tomando represalias por mi comentario inicial sobre una habitación que no correspondía con lo contratado por 75 € la noche sin baño dentro de la habitación.Todas las habitaciones las estaban limpiando por lo que creo que era mentira el tema eléctrico y habían dado la habitación a otras personas si no, no tiene sentido que a las 10 am estén limpiando la habitación para darme la, la habían ocupado. Cuando vio la cara que pusimos por no dejar las maletas empezó a comentar el precio por hora en la estación de tren!! En la vida me han dicho esto... hasta que al final nos dejó

• Denise (10/5): OTTIMA SOLUZIONE A DUE PASSI DALL'ARENA - B&b carinissimo, vicino a tutto (si trova veramente a due passi dall'arena), ci ha permesso di girare tutta Verona, a piedi ed in un giorno, senza alcuna difficoltà. Facilmente individuabile, provvisto di ascensore. La nostra tripla aveva tutto il necessario, pulita, abbiamo apprezzato il bagno nuovo, anche se, purtroppo, senza bidet. Fantastica la possibilità di poter effettuare anche la colazione in una saletta apposita, dove c'è un po di tutto (yogurt, latte, acqua,the e tisane varie, nutella,pane, fette biscottate) peccato non aver potuto assaggiare i croissant che portano ogni mattina causa partenza del nostro treno di ritorno la mattina presto, ma sono stati molto gentili a lasciarci la porta della sala aperta per permetterci di usufruire della colazione inclusa nel prezzo, tra l'altro irrisorio (96,50€ una tripla). Come consiglio per rendere tutto perfetto ci vorrebbe la possibilità di regolare la temperatura in camera autonomamente, in quanto ci sono i termosifoni che però erano spenti e a Verona un pò di freddo si sentiva :) Nel complesso sicuramente consigliato, ci ritornerei!

• Verified traveler (8/5): Piccolo ma carino - Abbiamo soggiornato una notte. Il B&B è in una posizione strategica.... Non molto lontano dalla stazione, che si può tranquillamente raggiungere a piedi, e vicinissimo al centro storico, 1min dall'Arena a piedi. Ha 2 stanze ma è ben servito di tutti i confort. La sala colazione è completa di tutto, peccato la colazione ad impronta troppo italiana (tanti dolci e poco salato). È presente anche un angolo tisane a disposizione degli ospiti con bollitore, tazze e piccola scelta di te e tisane. All"arrivo ci sono state consegnate le chiavi dei portoncini d' ingresso per avere autonomia durante il soggiorno. Se dobbiamo trovargli un difetto è il fatto che durante il pomeriggio e la sera non sia presente nessuno dello staff. Per il resto è stato un piacevole soggiorno.

• Klaus (10/5): Meget bedre end forventet. - Super godt B&B som overgik vores forventninger både til værelse, beliggenhed, renlighed og service. Det ligger få 100 meter fra Arena di Verona, som var vores formål. Renligheden var upåklagelig og de mennesker vi mødte var meget service mindede. Morgenmaden var ok og egentlig bedre end forventet. Husk dog, at de kun modtager kontanter til afregning af værelse. Kan absolut anbefales.

• Emily (8/5): Charming and close - It was very charming! The host was excellent, breakfast was included and it was right in the heart of down town. It had A/C but not controlled by the guest. Breakfast didn't start until 8:30 and we are early risers.
• Verified traveler (8/5): good B&B in central Verona - In the heart of Verona, very close to p.Bra, clean, easy if you are familiar with Verona and staying in low-maintenance B&Bs in Italy. Cash only since "sometimes the credit card reader works sometimes it doesn't". It didn't upon my arrival.
• Renee (8/5): Perfect location - The room was nice, good size with nice furnishings. The location was perfect, easy walk from station 12-15 mins. 2 mins from the arena. Room quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was very basic. The bathroon was rather tiny, very small shower cubicle and you had to stand in the exact right spot to get dried as not to fall into the hand basin or toilet. Staff not there when we arrived and when he did arrive spoke no English at all. Asked for cash payment right away. We did enjoy our stay in Verona and I would probably stay here again.

• Christine (8/5): Gute Lage, Nahe Piazza Bra - Wir haben leider nur noch ein Doppelbett (ca. 160 cm) bekommen. Das wußten wir, aber die Matratze war doch sehr wackelig. Die Dusche ist nicht so toll, kommt nicht so viel Wasser raus und manchmal heiß, manchmal kalt. Sonst war alles super. Die Zimmer haben Balkon.

• Edwin (8/5): Great B&B, perfect for sightseeing!!! - We only stayed here for one night to see Verona before moving into Simione but it was a perfect little B&B. They met us at the door, showed us to our room. Tea/coffee facilities are communal but what you need, the breakfast room is self service and a great selection and there's free wifi. This is a great place if you want to be up and about sightseeing. It's 2 minutes walk from the main square, 3minutes to the main bus station and less than 10 to train station. There's a great supermarket opposite to get water and any supplies for the room. The room was lovely and clean too. The only thing I would say,because it was hot we had the balcony door open and of the local shops we had a loud rubbish collection at very early hours then as we were there for a Sunday morning we also experienced a rather long bell ringing practice with the church right around the corner so perhaps don't expect a lay in!!! But in a place so beautiful you should be up and about anyway!!!!

• Beatrice (8/5): Bien situé - Grande chambre, literie très confortable. C'est un appartement de 4 chambres, dont 3 sur rue bruyante (le vitrage atténue) et 1 sur minuscule cour intérieure. Il n'y a personne sur place, il faut téléphoner mais arrivée rapide et accueil très sympathique. Ensemble globalement un peu cher. Problème d'eau chaude et froide indépendantes (il faut alterner, mélange impossible, rien à faire parait-il...). Petits déjeuners industriels sauf viennoiseries. Parking 15 euros par jour. Supermarché et théatre en bas.
• Frida (8/5): Fräscht och centralt - Man får ringa ett nummer som står på porten så kommer en person dit och öppnar då det inte är bemannat förutom vid frukost. Rummet och badrummet var enkelt, rent och fräscht. De vill ha kontant betalning. Bra frukost med färsk frukt utöver det vanliga mackor och yoghurt.
• claudio (10/5): sorprendente per stile, qualità e cortesia - Una piccola, ma splendida struttura che sorprende per stile, qualità dei matreiali, disponibilità e cortesia del personale. A differenza di altri b&b, anche la colazione è ricca e composta di frutta e cornetti freschi, ma spazia anche alle torte, yoghurt, budini ecc... Assolutamente un soggiorno da ripetere, anche in compagnia.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Soggiorno rilassante - Siamo una coppia con un piccolo cagnolino che hanno alloggiato per 2 notti presso la struttura. Siamo stati davvero bene: la camera era bella, pulita e confortevole. Anche la colazione ricca e piacevole per partire alla grande la mattina! L'unica pecca è stata la doccia, che teneva pochissimo l'acqua calda ma per il resto tutto perfetto. Consiglieremo sicuramente
• Sybille (10/5): Charmantes Quartier dicht an der Arena! - Leider hatten wir nur eine Nacht in Verona und wollten auch mal ein B&B austesten, das uns vor allem wegen der Nähe zur Arena interessierte - bei Gefallen würden wir das gerne mal bei einem Besuch der Oper nutzen! Es war eine gute Wahl! Alles war perfekt - das geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtete, blitzsaubere Zimmer, das liebevoll vorbereitete Frühstück mit Selfservice, der freundliche Empfang durch den Vermieter, der einem gleich die Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Haus erklärte und gute Restaurant-Tipps gab. Schön ist auch der vorhandene Aufzug, der es bequem ermöglicht, das Gepäck in den dritten Stock zu bekommen. Unser kleiner Kritikpunkt: für uns als älteres Ehepaar mit unterschiedlicher "Gewichtslage" war das Queensizebett etwas schmal und die Matratze zu weich. Aber vielleicht gibt es ja ein breiteres Bett in einem der anderen Zimmer - denn wiederkommen möchten wir gerne!
• Verified traveler (6/5): Good for opera . - No house staff present continuously. Had to telephone to get keys for room. Room was modern and very clean. Very close to Arena for opera. Little hot water and AC. OK breakfast.
• Sarp (8/5): Nice B&B close to Piazza Bra - It's location is very good. Room was very clean and breakfast is quite good. Free wifi is ok. It is also close (1.4km) to Porto Nuovo train station. No English speaking staff and there is no reception. You should have your key all the time otherwise you can be locked out.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great location, safe & clean rooms - Great location and safe, clean rooms. This B&B is a converted apartment. No front desk, no staff on site. You need to confirm your arrival time with them, or you will be stuck on the street with no one to let you in. Only issue we had was with payment. We booked online specifically so we could use our credit card (we were having issues with our American ATM cards.) However, upon arrival we were told they only accept cash. It caused a lot of stress but eventually they let us pay by credit.

• hally (6/5): B&B - close to the centre - Basic but at least Clean room, excellent location for major sites- arena about a 2 min walk. I thought it was a long way from the station but that was only 15/20 mins walk so ideal. Quiet road. Only let down would be the lack of tea/ coffee facilities- would have been a welcome addition.
• Lee (8/5): Clean room, nice location, just hard to find. - The stay was enjoyable and the room was very clean. However, finding the hotel was very difficult. The road is not labeled with a street placard like the others and the hotel sign is not displayed outside of the building. The location is great for the price though. It is situated 1 min walk away from the arena and 10 mins from Juliet's house. Directions from the train station: Exit the station and head east on to Viale del Piave. Turn left (north) and walk through the "city gate". The road now becomes Corsa Porto Nuova. Continus north until you come to another "gate". This gate leads to the arena plaza. Prior to passing the gate there will be an unlabeled street on the left (west). This is your road. Turn left (west) and walk about 50 meters. On the left you will notice a grocery store. Directly across the street from this grocery store is the hotel. It is a double set of wooden doors situated between the Mozart Cafe and a travel agency. The hotel is on the 3rd floor (4th in US terms) and is labeled at the hotel's actual door. I hope this helps.
• paul and anne (10/5): excellent b&b by the arena - very easy to find,we walked from the railway station in 15 minutes.the accademia is seconds away from the main square called piazza bra,just ask for the pam supermarket the b&b is opposite.the lady who meets you in order to give both keys and information is very friendly.she clearly has pride in her job as she keeps the rooms immaculate.the room was spacious,well appointed with modern décor.each room has a balcony.the bathroom was modern and very clean.it would be churlish and picky to offer any criticism.the accademia is in a fantastic position.

• Monica (8/5): Convenience - This Bed and Breakfast was in an ideal location, just around the corner was the city center. There was a grocery store across the street from the B&B, a restaurant and ATM machine were at the corner of the street. The breakfast was in a kitchenette with additional seating in a cute outdoor patio in the center of the building for all the B&B customers to use (usually it was only 3 others, if anyone came at the same time we did). The selection of food was wonderful! We had let the caretaker know the approximate time we were coming, but had to wait quite a while for her to answer the doorbell, then another 15-20 minutes for someone to let us in and explain the keys and breakfast. We had difficulties with the WiFi occassionally, but the TV worked well for the little amount of time we were in the bedroom. The locked private bathroom and bedroom were very clean. We didn't see the caretaker again until it was time to pay and leave.
• Grant (8/5): A hidden gem in Verona - Difficult to find, just a door onto the street with a small call panel next to it. Up on floor 3 via a lift. Obviously used to be an apartment. 3 rooms, no 1 being the pick. We had room 2, which was spacious and clean with a great bathroom and a stand alone shower. A balcony overlooks the street. Building adjoins an Opera concert hall, but no sound penetrates. The breakfast room is small but has a toaster and an excellent automatic coffee machine and the usuals such as cereal, juices, cakes, fruit etc. The location is superb! 150 metres from the central piazza with many restaurants adjacent to the local Colliseum or Arena, which is used for concerts. This leads to many boutique shops and Juliet's courtyard, balcony & house. Also extremely close to the taxi rank ( 10 minutes from train) and a 'hop on-hop off' bus or mini tourist train. A supermarket is opposite and a fantastic gelati shop is just around the corner . The only disadvantage is that the street below seems to be a meeting place for some of the local 'characters' but we were not accosted in any way.
