Barry (10/5): Beautiful, clean apartment in Chiado. The experience exceeded my expectations. - First of all, the apartment is gorgeous. Oftentimes, the apartment you rent doesn't live up to the photos in the post, but this time it exceeded expectations. Nice layout, roomy, comfortable and all the furnishings are high quality. Owner was responsive and communicated well to questions. Nothing jumps to mind. Everything was great.

The surrounding area is excellent — vibrant yet pleasant, with a great atmosphere and plenty of cafes, restaurants, and amenities within easy reach. A nice added touch is the convenient storage area before the apartment entrance, which is very practical for luggage. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. What I didn’t like: The apartment can be quite noisy, which may affect rest, especially during the night. Additionally, the air conditioning was inconsistent and would turn on/off unpredictably, making it difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature.

Riccardo (9/5): - L unica osservazione che bisogna fare è che se si ha l appartamento al piano inferiore si sentono tutti i passi delle persone sopra , quindi se si hanno dei vicini civili non ci sono problemi , ma se come noi si trovano dei civili senza un minimo di rispetto si sentirà ogni minimo passo sopratutto la notte tardi e la mattina presto.
Ann (8/5): Lovely location and spacious comfortable apartment. - Spacious and clean. Nice building within walking distance of good food, scenic viewpoints, a grocery store and pharmacy. We had no problems with street noise. It would have been a perfect ten, but there is no insulation at all between the floors, so if you and your upstairs neighbors don’t share the same hours it is very noisy. The ceilings are high —if this were my own apt. I would insulate the ceiling for sound in the bedroom. upstairs noise.

Chris (10/5): A very comfortable apartment in an excellent location - The bed was very comfortable as was the chairs in the living room. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was excellent. The location was really good as it was close to bus and tram stops and also walking distance to the river and train station. There were many small Portuguese restaurants in the roads and lanes nearby. We ate at Tapas des Graveas twice because of the friendly staff and the Fada music performance. Communication with the hosts was very good and we appreciated the elevator in the building. There were several small supermarkets/mini markets close by including an Auchan. We enjoyed the coffee machine and the wine and cheese left for us. We did not fully make use of the apartment’s smart technology but we were able to manually adjust the lights and cooling. Larger mugs for tea and coffee and black tea bags would have been appreciated.

Heather (10/5): Wonderful stay in a vibrant neighborhood - What an amazing stay we had at this property! It was so spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable for our family of five. Got a great night's sleep on the comfy beds and relaxed every night in the ample living area. The Chiado neighborhood is vibrant and full of character (we personally think this is the best location to stay, especially for first-time visitors) and the location was walkable, safe, and conveniently located to great restaurants, shops and sights. The cleaning service was a great perk and the welcome gift basket of cheese, jam, crackers and wine was a lovely touch. Communications were reliable through What's App if we had any questions. We'd highly recommend this property to anyone and would definitely stay there again. We weren't able to get inside the apartment using the Nuki app upon our arrival, but we used the two sets of keys that were left in the apartment for us, which worked fine. There's a combination washer/dryer in the unit which isn't the easiest to figure out; perhaps a set of how-to instructions inside the cabinet door would've helped?

Responsive hosts! Only 1 shower can run at a time and it runs out of hot water very fast - needs a larger tank for this many bedrooms/beds. Washer/dryer difficult to use, takes a long time, and ineffective. Towels are low quality - not absorbent and just feel wet all the time. Bathroom next to the main bedroom has a terrible sink faucet - loose, too far back from sink, so spills over the backs. That wastebasket looks rusted and the bath mat looks stained. Room a/c didn’t seem to work.

CHERYL (10/5): It was the perfect spot for us and our young adult children. - Excellent location Very comfortable with everything you need in an apartment. It is on a busy street. We were on the second floor in Nuit room. When doors and windows were closed you couldn’t hear the street noises. There is a small Continente a few minutes walk for groceries and a small bodega a few doors from the rental. We walked to most places and we are not a fit bunch. The bifana place is one block away and pastel da Nata place a few steps from there. We ate a lot of both. We would stay here again on a future trip.

Marc (10/5): Very nice place, clean, spacious, and quiet right in the middle of Chiado. - The communication as to how to use the Nuki app and offering two devices on which to gain access to the apartment was accommodating. The apartment was clean and attractive. It was on a busy street, but the sound proofing of the windows was excellent. Leaving a bottle of wine was classy. Easy to get to almost anywhere of significance in Lisbon by foot, although the hills can be challenging for those less active or capable. Little things: the technology was a little difficult to figure out. How to use the Sonos for example. How the light switches worked was difficult at first. No sugar for the coffee machine. Sometimes the lights in the bathroom go on automatically and sometimes not, which can be a problem early in the morning for a partner still sleeping.
Ana (10/5): Hermoso departamento para disfrutar Lisboa - El departamento es realmente hermoso y tal cual se ve en las fotos, tanto en amplitud como en calidad. La cocina está muy bien equipada; se agradece encontrar cuchillos buenos y productos de calidad, incluso jabón para la ropa y lavavajillas. El baño es muy cómodo y el calefactor para secar toallas fue un detalle que se valora. Los dormitorios son amplios, con ropa de cama y toallas de muy buena calidad. Los ventanales aíslan completamente el ruido exterior, así que se duerme muy bien. La ubicación es excelente. Hay un minimercado muy completo a pocos pasos y el barrio es muy entretenido para salir a caminar. Estuvimos cuatro noches y perfectamente podríamos habernos quedado más tiempo. Se nota preocupación por entregar una experiencia cuidada. Sin duda volveríamos. El check-in independiente no nos funcionó al principio porque no logramos hacer andar la app, pero se solucionó rápido contactando al anfitrión. En la planta baja, donde se guarda la basura, a veces se siente olor mientras se espera el ascensor. Es algo puntual, pero puede resultar incómodo.

Mejoraría la ducha, ya que al usarla se salía el agua y se encharcaba el suelo del baño, haciendo necesaria una fregona de la que no disponíamos. Por otro lado, el ruido del suelo de madera era bastante notorio con respecto al piso de arriba y de los pasillos exteriores. Además, el colchón era demasiado blando para mi gusto, pero esto ya es una cuestión muy persona. Recalcar que todo está muy cuidado y detallado, y en general es una estupenda opción. Solo son detalles que se pueden optimizar.

Michael (10/5): Beautiful apartments in a great location - We visited with a group of 9 to run the Lisbon Marathon. We stayed in the 3 BR and two of the 1 BR apartments. The location is excellent, very central. The apartments are beautiful, well decorated, and with ample comfortable furniture for hanging out. The host was quick to respond to questions and had a nice basket of wine and food waiting for our arrival, which was a really nice touch. I didn't realize (or notice) when I booked that one couple in our group would be in a separate building. It was right around two corners in a building behind ours (< 1 minute walk), so not an issue at all.

Emily (9/5): Lovely apartment with cozy home vibes that felt very safe in the heart of the city. - The location was great! Right in the heart of Ribeira Grande and very conveniently located to be able to walk to shops and restaurants and even the beach. The apartment was super cute and felt very safe behind the gated driveway. The hosts also provided everything we needed to make our own coffee in the mornings and even some local goodies to snack on. The kitchen is very small and doing dishes was a little challenging with the limited space. A proper dish rack would have been nice! Also when they performed the turn down service (which was lovely), they turned off the AC units leaving us with a warm house to return to after a long day of exploring. But really this was only a minor inconvenience and not a big deal!

Kevin (9/5): Peaceful Lisbon apartment in the heart of everything - It was a large, clean, first-class apartment that was also quiet, which is very impressive given how centrally located it is, in the heart of everything. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, well equipped with quality furnishings, not the usual rental property standard. Our apartment was Citron, the one-bedroom, and the theme being carried out with dishes and furnishings was a nice touch, one of many aimed at comfort and quality. Highest recommendation. Two things, both nitpicks: We like a VERY firm bed. The mattress will be to the liking of most people who use it, but it wasn't firm enough for our liking. The shower water pressure also could have been higher, even as we understand the realities of an older building.

Pee (9/5): Best Location! Nice Apartment in City Center! - The apartment was very spacious, with a huge living room, well equipped Kitchen as well as a washer-dryer. There were 3 toilets, 2 of which were bathrooms, 1 with bathtub and standing bath. They have a smart system to control the apartment such as its lighting or temperature. The location is also right smack in the middle of the city, just 5min away from the nearest metro, right in front of tram 28's station and minutes away from a major shopping street. The staff was also very helpful despite not being present, leaving behind detailed and informative self made guides featuring local insights. They also offered free luggage storage before or after checkout. The hot water was very faulty during our stay there, having had to bathe with freezing cold water on quite few occasions. It was especially a problem during late nights when staff services were unavailable.

Propreté plus qu'impeccable. Hôte réactif et efficace. Tout est très confortable, et bien pensé. Domotique pratique. Lumières agréables. C'est vraiment LE logement idéal pour séjourner à Lisbonne. Nos dejaron algunos detalles tanto para nosotros como para nuestra hija de 1 año. Nos tocó en el segundo piso y ocasionalmente si los huéspedes de arriba corrían o pisaban fuerte se oía bastante, aunque en general es un apartamento silencioso. Algo que nos pareció un poco raro es que el apartamento está completamente domotizado y alguna vez se nos apagaban o encendían algunas luces solas.

Master bedroom had an en suite bathroom. It had a washer that did most the drying also. Two other bedrooms upstairs. One was very small, just enough to fit a queen bed. Bathroom to those was shared downstairs.
