Guest Reviews
- HuyTruong259 (2/5): Terrible - I made 3 room bookings for my family from October 18th to 19th. I feel deceived by the images of this hotel displayed on Agoda, which were completely different from reality. Everything was far off: there was a foul smell, poor hygiene, no emergency exits, no fire protection system, the elevator was cramped, and safety in case of an emergency was not ensured. Everything was terrible, and my family had to move to another hotel right after checking in.
I request Agoda to work with the hotel to refund the amount I paid and terminate the partnership with this hotel.
- Anton (2/5): Looks nothing like the pictures - Okay it is pretty cheap but it’s still not worth it. The room was gross, don’t think they know how to clean at all. You can find so much better places at the same price.
- MAKOTO (6/5): 価格相応のホテル - 価格から考えたら相応のホテル
場所は申し分無い所に立地している
- thisdrinkinglife (6/5): Cant complain really - OK hotel, centrally located, half decent rates.......
Could make a better effort of cleaning the room, i found chewing gum on wall......and on floor......right beside me
Bed comfortable enough
Cant complain really
- Cong (2/5): - I rate this hotel worth only 1 star. There are mold, broken toilet in the washroom, door damaged. So expensive for me to paid one night there.
- novic_trek (8/5): AC didn't work - But everything else was ok. I was very pessimistic given the bad reviews that I have read. But I was VERY surprised. The receptionist did speak English and helped with my luggage. The room was as pictured. There was even hot water. There was no drinking water provided though but it wasn't a dealbreaker.
- Ryan Rafael (6/5): Condition - The pictures of the hotel are not updated.what is on the website is not what you see and experience.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Not clean... i stay 5 days housekeeping not clean the toilet..... i book for 3 room but i get 2 room only....bad service
- 834paub (4/5): Not recommended - This hotel by far is the worst hotel I have been to, it only has one staff who works as receptionist and an all around staff, the manager is also very rude. Next is that they have overcharge our room even though we haven't stayed for overnight. What a very bad experience. Oh did I mention that their hotel room does not have a towel.
- Leo (8/5): - Great place. Not noisy for the excellent location. Close to everything.
No complains whatsoever for the price!
- EVA (8/5): - The staffs are very friendly and helpful, nice and clean room, staffs able to please and fulfill guest's needs; in our case to find vege/halal foods for breakfast :)
- RAZALI (6/5): - not so good as breakast was not given , only after we complain they provide bread and fried egg only. the staff also not very friendly
- Verified traveler (2/5): - チェックイン時の対応の悪さ過去で一番悪い
そう言う國
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room and bathroom are not clean. Service is very good
- phuongletravel (6/5): average - the hotel located next to Ben Thanh market which is famous market in HoChiMinh city
acceptable price
foot massage downstairs
nice owners - motorbike for rent
never take no-window room
cleanliness is average
smells
- Lelany (8/5): Great location, good value & helpful staff - The room was remodeled, very clean and smelled nice too.
The location is perfect! 3 minute walk to Binh market, 12-15 minutes to the war museum and bui Vien walking street . They also have an onsite tour company who we booked the Cu Chi tunnels with for $15.
Downside is that breakfeast was only til 9am and with limited options.
We arrived early in the AM and the staff was very accommodating in helping with our luggage and in getting a room ready before the 2pm check-in time.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - 큰 특징은 없으나 위치가 여행하기에 아주 좋다.조식에 대해 조금 더 신경써 주었으면 좋겠다
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff is very welcoming, friendly and very helpful! The location is strategic as well, it is very close to Ben than Market and some attractions like the Central post office and Notre dame cathedral. Breakfast is good as well.
The facility should have internal maintenance for urgency like when the water (tank or machine?) is not working so they can fix it right away, and not only in the morning when their external suppliers are already reachable on the phone.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - 벤탄시장과 매우 가까움(현지 생활 및 음식을 경험하기에 충분함)
사진과 너무 많이 틀림
직원과의 의사 소통 문제 많음(영어를 거의 모름)
- thepatos (4/5): Mixed feelings about this place - Check-in at Saigon Charm Hotel (aka Mai Vuong hotel) was easy and fast. Elevator/lift was the smallest I have ever seen. Three of us had to go up in two trips because we couldn't get our 2 bags in as well.! Room was surprisingly spacious and the beds were clean and comfortable. Tv didn't work (no remote control, but no big deal for us either). No kettle/jug, tea or coffee. Bathroom was clean. First morning saw a power outage so we had to take the stairs....OH MY... what a freaky nightmare. Stairs were VERY narrow and rickety plus housekeeping left baskets etc on various levels making the trip very difficult. If this was the only escape route in an emergency, try jumping out a window. It's probably safer!!. Seriously, the stairs will be very dangerous in an emergency situation. The air conditioner stopped working one time, called reception and lo and behold, they flicked a switch and it's back on instantly! Breakfast was included and they hand you a menu with 7 items on the menu. No big deal... Except they actually only offer two of those seven. And both times we tried to have breakfast it was fried eggs or noodles with fish balls. You're better off going to get food at Ben Thanh Market or any of the other gazillion food outlets in the area. "Spa service" on 1st floor has a rather questionable feel about it, in every sense of the imagination. Definitely won't go there again or recommend. Hotel is in a good location. Would I stay here again?? Probably not.
- Neil (6/5): Family stay. - Hotel is in a great position, but the hotel is just ok. Breakfast is not worth bothering to have but lots of street food right outside. No kettle in room, smallest lift I have ever seen. But friendly staff and price is cheap.
I would warn of the massage at the hotel. This is a happy ending massage. Be aware before you go there.
Lots of other hotels very close that are much better value for money.
- Kit San (6/5): Amazing location, little walk needed - Room condition is not as ideal, lightings were dark and shower heater were not working properly so the temperature of water was still somewhat cold. However, location is extremely convenient, with Ben Thanh market just around the corner, as well as Paragon Plaza which is an upscale mall for shopping purposes.
- raihanasalehuddin (8/5): Great location! - Saigon Charm Hotel was walking distance to Ben Thành Market and the night market along Malaysia Street. It was near where all the action was but yet far enough for us to enjoy some peace and quiet when we wanted to sleep. There were many halal food options along the area. The staff were approachable and accommodating. The only thing that I have to complain about is that the beds were hard.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Their pictures don’t match the room. - Shower hose was half naked and torn but in working condition. Should have replaced. The bathroom walls filled with molds. The room was dirty, floors, dusts, bed lamp, bath tub. The towels provided were all ragged. Had to call front desk to turn on water heater an hour prior taking a shower. (Water heater tank has to heats up). Also, had to call them to turn on the main AC switch at front desk every time we came back. When first turn on hot water brown water flowed out for minutes. AC was filled with molds and not cold during hot daytime. Safe had to be replaced and they replaced with a half working condition. (Keys must be used to lock but can be unlock with the code which they did not know how to change. Their excuse was they just took over the hotel for a month. In one occasion, what to call to turn onCold water at 2am because they shut off water pump. So we had no place to put valuables, no properly working hot water, breathe in molds, slept in dirty room, flowed brown water, and etc. on the the other hand, the staff tried so hard to please us. Nice service!!
- normancheh (2/5): Not the hotel but the massage parlor in this hotel. - I’m not condemning the hotel but i want to share our traumatic experience in the massage parlor named Lucky Nail & Spa on the 1st floor. I went to Lucky Nail & Spa after going through their brochures believing it’s a decent massage parlor as it offers facial n eye lash extension as well. So we took up their body, facial n foot massage package. Cost us VND 1.9 mil. Not complaining on the price. What happened to us was the boss noticed that we came in as couple she ordered a male masseur from outside agents for me so thay my gf feels more comfortable. In the middle of the massage both the masseurs were conversing in Vietnamese n suddenly they swapped with each on the facial service part. We’re fine with that. But the male masseur daringly half way through the facial massage went n molested my gf. He touched my gf’s breast n even pull her pants down n pushed his hand to touch her private part. My gf screamed n he panicked n stopped. My gf came to me (i was just in the next bed blocked by the curtains) n told me what happened to her. I asked for the boss n told the man not to leave the premise as i want to call the police. I didnt have the police emergency number (my mistake, should’ve checked it before i came to HCM) so i asked the lady boss for the number n she told me she doesnt know the police number. I was furious as she was more concern of her business n needing to deal with the police than her customer’s well being. Luckily a Grab driver that i ordered to bring me to the police station could speak a bit of Cantonese n he helped us to bring the lady boss to the police station together n refused to accept my payment for his service. He advice me to just tell what happened to the police. The police wasnt really keen to do much since it was already midnight. And the male masseur have already switched off his mobile phone n is not reachable. The police tried calling him too. The police told us to go back to our hotel first n get some rest n come back again with the lady boss of the massage parlor the next day to sort it out.
- Kate (4/5): Disappointed - When we tried to turn on the tap to take a bath. The water came out with a very yellow tinge. We checked under a different light and it was in fact yellow. The stairs were very small and steep. I thought i was going to fall. I recommend going by elevator, even if the air in there is a bit stuffy.
- douglas (10/5): Great valeu - Nice new hotel- great value
- Michael (10/5): Good stay and covenient location - Helpful staff to people with their issues. Friendly welcome and good service.
