• Julieta (7/5): - La ubicacion muy bien, si estas buscando algo bien en el centro de la ciudad. el desayuno bastante escueto, unas tostadas con mermelada de manzana creo, y una banana. A mi que no me gusta banana, no habia ni posibilidad de una manzana. Me costaba encontrar gente del hostel. Yo fui en otoño, y tener los baños afuera del cuarto estaba bastante fresco

• Rachel (5/5): - When I arrived they had the wrong dates for the stay eventhough I showed them on my booking that I had arrived on the correct day. On the first night I arrived I had gone out, then came back and my stuff had been taken out of the room I was in and moved to another and they had not told me. My new room was nice but the mattress felt like I was sleeping on plastic. Also, I tried to pay when I arrived but they kept telling me to come back as the card machine wasn't working. I kept going back and then I thought I had paid as she got the card machine out but didn't say that it hadn't gone through due to the WiFi not working. And then left a note on the bedroom door demanding I pay. Wifi did not work most of the time especially in the bedroom I got moved to.
• Juan Ignacio (6/5): - La ubicación del hostal. Está a dos cuadras del zócalo y tiene un restaurante muy bonito en la zona. Los baños no tienen jabón ni champú (necesario en estos casos ya que muchos viajamos solo con equipaje de mano), los baños están sucios (se debe ingresar con sandalias). En general las instalaciones son viejas y necesitan actualización, las camas no tienen cortinas o algo que permita cerrar y tener privacidad (la mayoría de hostales en el mundo sí tiene entonces están atrasados). Te venden la existencia de un supuesto bar que nunca vi a nadie atender y tampoco hay actividades sociales.

Tuve que salirme en la noche de ese lugar porque me asignaron en donde estaba una persona y la persona estaba bajo el influjo de alguna sustancia rara y me dio mucho miedo y cuando salí al baño al regresar esta persona estaba hurgando en mis cosas, me dio tanto miedo que mejor me fui, lamento mucho que no tengan candados para los lockers en la mayoría de los hostales los prestan y eso me puso a mí en un estado de vulnerabilidad con la otra persona por no tener en dónde guardar mis cosas así que por eso decidí salirme de ese lugar e irme a un hotel, piden muchísimos requisitos en su estancia y no ofrecen la seguridad que se necesita, la verdad considero que es un lugar pésimo podría mejorar si simplemente se fijaran bien a quién les rentan las habitaciones, y que tengan seguridad en los lockers porque al final de cuentas no todo mundo va a traer un candado a la mano como era en mi caso. NO LO RECOMENDARÍA PARA NADA. LUEGO APARTE TE SALEN CON UNAS MULTAS QUE DE $500 SI TE SORPRENDEN TOMANDO AGUA EN TU HABITACIÓN ESO EN NINGÚN LADO OCURRE NI POR COMER. CÓMO ES POSIBLE QUE NO DETECTARON AL TIPO QUE ESTABA DROGADO EN LA HABITACIÓN DESNUDO. • Bayli (10/5): Exceptional - The location of this place us unmatched! This was better than I expected. I booked a single bed in the 4 bed mix dormitory and ended up having the whole room to myself. They had staff there 24 hours and were always available. There is a small locker in the room but you have to bring your own lock, the best of my larger bags I checked with security to put in the back room while I was out exploring. Perfect for my 2 night 1 day stay. nothing

I only ate the banana.. better don't get nothing.. that's not breakfast. The bathroom is too far from the room, no ceiling, so in the middle of the night, you can get sick.. with the warm body. Bed hard as a rock .. there are better hostels more less price with better Breakfast, better beds, better atmosphere.. You will feel like a poor person..

• Paula (6/5): - Our room on the first floor was permanently moist because of the shower. Breakfast is not good - banana, coffee and two slices of toast. Stuff very friendly.
• Ivan (8/5): Highly satisfactory setting. ‘Nuff said. - I booked a reasonably priced bed in a quite basic four-bed room. The property is situated right in the city's historic core, practically around the corner from Zocalo Square. That proved to be an ideal base for going on day trips to visit and explore Tlatelolco, Xochimilco, Coyoacán (Frida Kahlo Museum), Guadalupe Shrine, Teotihuacan, and so on. I was alone in the room and among the very few guests staying there in mid-March. The whole place had an air of an abandoned ghost town about it, not that I minded. The neighbouring restaurant completely blew my mind with its lush green foliage covering every inch of the overhead space above the yard. The view from the terrace above the green canopy of the treetops was absolutely astounding, out of this world. Breakfast was quite modest and rudimentary, not to say stingy: two slices of bread and a banana (picture included).
• Tom (5/5): Don't be fooled by the restaurant in front.. - The location. The terrace. Staff was rather cold, uninterested, answered my questions from behind the curtain at the reception desk. I actually had to ask for breakfast (which was included) as it wasn't served. Judging by the rather expensive price per night, one would have expected more than an old piece of bread, a banana some thin coffee. On top of everything, there's no toilets in the actual room. You have to go out to a toilet section which gives the whole thing a rather prison-like ambience. One of my worst hostel experiences in Mexico. Find something else.
• S (9/5): Great place to get some good sleep right in Centro - In my eyes, the couple bad reviews on here don't do the place justice. When I arrived at the main gate at night a kind security guard walked me all the way to the reception, where a very polite receptionist handled my checkin quickly and gave me all the instructions I needed to find my room. The room itself is rather simple, it only has beds and lockers, but everything worked and was clean. As the windows open to the courtyard, there was very little noise. The bathroom is well dimensioned for a hostel of this size (6 showers, 6 sinks, 6 WC) and the water pressure was perfect. Also, you get a big comfy towel at checkin. The breakfast that's included is a simple one, sure, but you can't expect a big buffet at this price, and the coffee was surprisingly good. So yes, all in all I'm very happy with my stay, felt safe and well taken care of all the time and did get some good sleep. However, if you're looking for a party/community hostel, this is not the right one for you.

First I went upstairs, with all of my luggage, upps. All in all loved the funky decor, but I felt like the bathroom floors should have been tiled, for cleanliness.

Please ADD: faucets, showers, and toilets WASTE WATER! High-flow should be reduced. Hot shower water runs COLD too long. simple changes will save $1,000's. 4. DECEMBER 2012-- Grand Opening Month-- FREE WELCOME DRINK. AND Full Breakfast Buffet -- now only 2 slices white bread-butter-jam-average coffee, fruit: banana, apple, or pear. ONLY 1. 5. • Cristian (7/5): i was expecting more for being part of Grupo Habita honestly but worths for a short stay and light travel - it’s really well located in the center but as the hostel sits inside there’s quite privacy and almost no noise. nice options as they are located in a great building with one of my fav restaurants Azul Histórico. the lockers are ridiculous and small has no point to leave all bags and luggages downstairs if you stay for long periods. a t-shit was stolen and when reported and mentioned that It was 200% sure who took it as there was only one checkout in the room and suggested they could contact him in order to show if it was an accidental mistake they mentioned and agreed to contact him while forwarding me in BCC and no one took action. it’s not for the value but the meaning of it

• Matylda (1/5): I left earlier that I planned cos I couldn’t stand this hostel - if you want to stay close to the main tourist attractions it’s okay. building from the outside is beautiful it’s cold, dirty, very noisy. Breakfast is really weak, they gave you two pieces of bread, banana and a bit of butter and jam. Staff will help you if you asked them a question but they won’t show you anything what’s in the hostel, when I did check out the women from the reception left without even saying good bye to me. bathroom is very cold and barely have warm water

• Ands93 (10/5): A great hostel! - I spent 3 days and 2 nights at the hostel and all I have to say is that it was a great experience. The people in reception were kind. The bedroom and bathrooms are spacious and clean. I loved the weak atmosphere of the place at night, it gives a peaceful feeling. The food of the hotel was I want to thank Carlos Rojas for his excellent service during our stay, he makes us feel like if we were at home. He's such a great and respectful guy.

Breakfast started at 8 except when it didn't start until 8:30. the staff at the front desk were excellent. You can ask for a lock for the locker assigned to your bed. Breakfast consisted of oatmeal, toast, fruit, juice, coffee. They give you an extra top sheet that you can use as a screen between beds. each bed has its own electrical outlet. I've stayed here 2x, with college students and with people in their 70s and will stay again.

El detalle del pan de muerto para el desayuno fue top. Las bebidas del bar igual de bien. No: El ruido de la bomba se escuchaba bastante fuerte en nuestra habitación. Las regaderas necesitan todas un banquito para las cosas.
• joblack11 (8/5): Good value for money - This hostal is situated in an absolutely perfect location, right next to the main plaza. It’s actually a small hub of shops and restaurants in the same building, restaurants open late into the night contrary to many establishments in Mexico City. The hostal staff was helpful, the rooms were clean. They give fresh sheets and a towel upon arrival. There is also a big locker in the room for your stuff. Breakfast is decent though nothing special. Only three downsides: wifi only in communal areas, bad lighting and top bunk beds give on to each other, like a double bed with two mattresses. I slept very comfortably despite that.
• Verified traveler (4/5): My advice: Choose a different location. - They advertise wifi but it doesn't work in the rooms which is not advertised. The breakfast is bread and a piece of fruit if you stay here you will need to purchase additional food. The beds are terribly uncomfortable and there's no air conditioning. If you leave the window open for air the mosquitoes will get you. The door slams shut and there's no way to prevent it. Everytime someone goes in or out the room wakes up. They advertise they have an airport shuttle and they don't. They will offer to call a car for 400 pesos. You can get an Uber for 100. All of this could have been dealt with one issue at a time but the staff doesn't seem to know what customer service is. The only good thing about this hostel is the location.

• Verified traveler (10/5): 立地&料金&快適さがよかった！ - 空港からメキシコシティまでスーツケースを持ってメトロで向かう予定だったため、ソカロ駅に近い場所に泊まることにした。駅からすぐの立地で、朝食付きなのにお手頃価格で満足した。ベッドは清潔で柔らかく、接客も丁寧で素晴らしかった。シャワーもすぐに温かいお湯が出たため、ストレスを溜めることなく泊まることができた。特に悪いところはなかったように思う。

The staff was disorganized. They gave our key to someone else... I will never use this hostel again. For a few dollars more our friend stayed in a proper hotel two blocks from this hostel. Stay away from this place.

Por ahí salió que tiene alberca, pero está pertenece al hotel boutique del que es parte el hostel y no puedes usarla, para que no se confíen.

• Fabricio (6/5): - En sus especificaciones NO dice que podrían dormir otras personas extrañas en nuestra misma habitación (cómo nos pasó). Además tampoco dice que los baños están afuera de la habitación y que son compartidos. Es una buena oferta pero parece que lucran con el desconocimiento de la gente. Es una buena ubicación.

• Julian (8/5): - beautiful outdoor courtyard, stylish rooms, and friendly staff. Lighting was terrible everywhere: rooms, bathrooms, common spaces and I found myself having to use my phone just to get around. Complimentary breakfast is a piece of white bread, coffee & piece of fruit --nice touch, but i would recommend going out somewhere for a real breakfast. Overall good stay, but I would not recommend to someone seeking comfort.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great location, beautiful surroundings - Overall, we give it a 4 out of 5. A good stay but areas for improvement. First, the area is absolutely fantastic. It’s part of the Downtown Mexico complex which is beautiful. We had cocktails at the roof which was proper mixology and a fancy dinner at Azul which the food was to die for! Location for historic downtown is perfect, nightlife is better in other areas but you’re right by Zocalo and shopping areas. The shower is clean and big with changing space. Areas for improvement is you need two of your own locks to lock up your stuff. One for your main locker, which isn’t nailed down to anything and can be moved, and a second for a small lockbox that you can charge your phone or leave smaller valuables. I didn’t like how there isn’t individual lights in each bed, and there isn’t a charging station near your own bed (only the little locker that I mentioned). They provide wool blankets, which I’m not a fan cause wool is itchy. The complex is beautiful, but the dorm room can be improved logistically. Also it’s a bit unorganized for assigning beds, they give you a room and a key that’s assigned to a bed but then you just pick an available bed when you walk in the room. This made it confusing and I was concerned if someone would claim my bed or id claim a used bed. We changed rooms when we couldn’t find a clean bed for a room assigned. I’d recommend for a quick trip, but I did expect more for the price.
• Rita (8/5): - The location of this hostel is very good, the room is tidy and clean and staff are really helpful! Overall it’s a very great hostel for this price, just one thing, the lights in the bathroom and toilet area is not enough, sometimes i feel kind of spooky when taking shower in very dark lighting, would be perfect if they can make bathroom area brighter!
• ktyardila (10/5): Excellent hostel in down town - Is a very nice hostel in down town in Mexico City, great location, clean and friendly service. Is located in the middle of a very nice and vintage building with a lot of local shops with tons of different options
• Emma (8/5): - A nice, clean hostel. The check in for the hostel was a little hard to find and you have to walk through a restaurant,then then at the back of the hostel is the reception desk. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. There was free continental breakfast too which was a bonus. The only issue is that everything outside, like people talking in the courtyard, doors closing, etc., is heard in the rooms, which is an issue if you value sleep.
