Guest Reviews
- Ralph (5/5): Jederzeit für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in der Stadt. - Preis-Leistung in Ordnung.
- Gerhard (6/5): - Die Lage 6
- Thelma (8/5): I’m satisfied with my stay - Near the church, where I go everyday during
my stay
Staff are all helpful Nothing that significant
The place offered the essentials
Even if there’s only one elevator, I think
this worked efficiently. There’s stairs beside
the elevator area, if would like to exercise a bit
Only a minor comment re breakfast, there’s only few choices
- Edna Mae (9/5): - Location is perfect walking distance to the clinic we need to go. Value
- Bas (7/5): -
- David (10/5): - The service was great!
- Everett (4/5): - So the property is fairly decent but the mildew smell made it unbearable.
- Anthony (10/5): - Staff is perfectly suited to working with the public. I felt very safe the whole time and its peacefully quiet
- Behzad (10/5): - excelent staff, clean
- Blake (10/5): - St Mark Hotel provides exceptional and courteous service. The staff makes you feel like nobility (based on what I’ve seen on Upstairs Downstairs since I am not nobility). Everyone is so positive and helpful. Large quiet room. Very clean. Comfy beds and large towels. Mini-refrigerator. I was pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included as part of my package. Breakfast was delicious - buffet style with varied selections provided each day. In addition, the restaurant is open all day. Robinsons Market, Pure Gold Market and Seven Eleven easy walking distance. Fresh fruit stand a minute away. Highly recommend staying here.
- laureto (10/5): - Exellent room
- Johanna (7/5): Good - Location is great
- Cory S (2/5): - All bad from check in to sleep 3pm check in and dogs barking all day and night kids playing out side my doir
- Sir Lewarren (10/5): - The property was great! The staff is extremely welcoming, friendly and definitely customer driven. I enjoyed the hotel and my trip.
- Jason (2/5): - Do not stay here! I had a terrible experience. The air conditioner never worked. I called the stay , they came up and cleaned the filter in my bathroom sink, leaving dirt and water everywhere, then put the filter in and said it was working and left. It turned on for 5 minutes then shut off. Kept doing that. It was very loud when it did, but would blow mildly cool air then would shut off. The showers was dripping all night. Had to take an advil pm to get through the night. The pictures for the hotel are not real, I don’t know where they came from, but the hotel is rundown. Do yourself a favor and look at other options. Also the towels weee stained and dirty, I did not want to use the shower either.
- Lance (6/5): Used to be a mandatory 'go to' ,ok but will be looking at other options next time. - Loved the staff, faultless. Room balcony was a saving grace for smokers who otherwise endure a long trek outside the property. The neighboring church adds a unique early morning music atmosphere. Breakfasts could be better and vastly overpriced.
- ruyfrankr (8/5): Serenity. Holy Stay 🤣. - Stayed as it is just walking distance to the clinic where we are going for medical certification for visa requirements to Canada. Room was neat and clean. Hotel staff were helpful. Breakfast was nice, there are many food choices. Slept well. Area is quiet. You can visit and pray in one of the beautiful churches and probably the biggest in Cebu, the Redemptorest Church right in front of the hotel.
- TripMakoy (10/5): Good Stay - I liked the location although not as easy to find. Staff were friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Mini fridge was provided, work desk was comfortable. Bathroom clean and spacious. I liked that its near a convenience store.
I stayed for 2 nights - booked as back to back. It was just weird that they could't give me the same room and I had to moved the next day, even though I booked the same category. They moved me to the same floor, next room, a bit odd.
- Barbara (10/5): - Affordable
- June (8/5): - Good service
- Geoff (7/5): Disappointing this time around - Well I reviewed this hotel a little under a week ago from my previous brief stay and once again, I must say the highlight were the ladies on reception and the friendly staff. The location is handy to everything. As per my most previous stay I mentioned that WIFI passwords didn't work. I did this basically to make them aware of it and rectify it for future guests. But I was told again to try another router which made it incredibly slow - up to 5 minutes to load a web page. Once again, a simple press of a button didn't work with turning on the TV - the result was only four blurry channels. And the fridge in my room was really warm. The temperature dial looked to be broken and just freely spun around. You can see they are cutting costs with paper cups for coffee. In all, it's a basic hotel and in my opinion only one to use for a night or two and probably overpriced for what you get. To be honest, I'll probably look at other options next time I return to Cebu City.
- Geoff (8/5): Very sufficient as usual - Really friendly front desk staff and generally in a good location. A good hotel for brief stays or while in transit in Cebu. The rooms aren't huge, but it's not as if it's a resort or a hotel with a pool and one in which to relax or holiday in. Well the TV didn't work (all the channels were fuzzy) and with a really late check-in and a one night stay it didn't really matter. Then again, most hotels now have two remotes and there's always an issue. It's not like to old days of pressing a button and a picture appears. The wifi didn't connect, but all it took was a call to the desk and the young lady told me to try a router for another floor, which then worked. Albeit, the wifi was a bit slow.
- F2539KDpaulp (8/5): Being your earplugs - I have to say this place had the most comfortable bed I slept in so far on my 2 weeks in the Philippines. However I found it very noisy, even though I was staying on the 6th floor I heard the noise from the street level and even things in the hall, however The staff were amazing and helped me with my laundry and did other general things for me. However the Hot water wasn't available for the evening I was staying there.
- Paul (8/5): Nice place - I have to say this place had the most comfortable bed I slept in so far on my 2 weeks in the Philippines. The staff were amazing and helped me with my laundry and did other general things for me. However the Hot water wasn't available for the evening I was staying there.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very good but two issues - Best bed I have slept ok on a 4 month south east Asia trip. Staff are excellent. Close to a kfc and other restaurants. Room is great- perfect size with balcony, clean and well appointed. I have deducted a star bc the internet basically was not working at all. The staff did try to help but nothing worked. Also the hot water is basically luke warm at best.
- THOMAS (10/5): - This is a nice hotel with breakfast. It is on a quiet side street which is a big plus
- June (10/5): - Very good for the price.
- June (10/5): - Friendly and courteous staff.
- BOYAN44 (4/5): St. Mark hotel Cebu , DOWNFALL ! - Don't be fooled by all this glamour reviews . I visited this hotel last and this year and I'm very disappointed this time. First the GOOD - Location , in the heart of Cebu ,
Second the BAD - Everything else . You will see very dirty hallways , stain bed sheets .
Dated furniture and mold smell in the rooms . The breakfast is a joke ,and there is not hot water in the bathroom. Obviously they change the management and this hotel is on free fall. Save your money and look everywhere else .
- June (10/5): - Attentive staff. Good choice of breakfast.
- JOSE (10/5): - Safe, central hotel with walkable amenities.
Smart, courteous, professional staff.
- Tisay (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (10/5): - It’s a convenient location only 0.5 to 1 km walk from the ATM, drug stores, Ching Hua hospital and Cebu Doctor’s Hospital and many restaurants. The room is clean, large, attractive and modern. The breakfast buffet is simple but acceptably good. During the day, it’s a little noisy because of the street noise. Overall I liked it. It’s a good value and I recommend it.
- Janeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (6/5): Pleasant - The staff compensated for the wrong booking by helping us with a taxi to the bus stations. very friendly. Didn’t get the room we booked on Booking.com. And they didn’t have it available when we got there.
The breakfast was very unlimited. You could chose between pancakes or eggs. Could have more options.
The rooms was old. So the overall feeling is that it doesn’t look clean. It needs a renovation.
- Viv (8/5): Great staff made the venue pleasing. - Clean rooms, friendly staff. Wifi was intermittent was a nuisance.
- Lance (9/5): Anything which could be addressed was done so quickly without complaint. - Great breakfast, service and choice of food outstanding. Anything apparently lacking was quickly addressed with a smile. More than adequate for my needs.
- Govin (7/5): Good - Staff, location, room size There was a students' seminar the weekend I was in town and the students were noisy and boisterous. Some were knocking on the door and running away. Thankfully, the staff changed my room when I reported this
- Mary (9/5): Superb - The staff/service and location Breakfast spread
- Angelina (5/5): Passable - We did not have breakfast in the hotel - so not applicable.
Location is perfect for me because it is next door to the Redemptorist Church. When I booked I searched for a hotel nearest to this church. The cleanliness needs improvement, especially bathroom area, tap and sink - it drained very slow.
When we open our window curtain there's nothing to see but pipes and another window - it is just an awful sight.
Bug crawling.
- Ivan (10/5): Excellent! will choose this place again if I were to be in Cebu again. - The friendly staff who ensured safety by always being so attentive. NA.
- Brett (10/5): Awesome from arriving and sorry to leave. Staff are just amazing. Jemima was amazing 24/7. -
- Ranilyn (9/5): it was good - the location is very good there was no doorbell, keycard rundown
- HEDDA RIZALITA (10/5): - It was very convenient for me--to go downtown, uptown, shopping, church, and everywhere I went.
The facility, if there's something needs to be done -it's handled right away.
The staff, from the receptionists, the Halo Restaurant staff, the maintenance or housekeeping crew, the management personnel, and the guards were very nice and courteous.
- Norberto (9/5): Superb - During ny stay there was an unlimited free snacks
- Norberto (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohamed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bob (9/5): Very enjoyable . - The quality of the surroundes .
- Hamdi (10/5): Exceptional - thnx you best hotel
- Argie (8/5): Very good -
- Donald (10/5): Exceptional -
- AngelikaJonska (10/5): Very nice for the price - It was a very cheap hotel considering the location (Kensington, 10 mins from the Natural History Museum). We also got breakfast for free! Indeed, it wasn't of the best quality (cheese, milk, ham *better than usual cheap quality; it tasted like real meat*; generally, it was basic and very much edible but not fancy,,, however, I didn't expect this to be Hilton quality for such a hotel - still great it was incuded in the package) but at least something! We had a very lovely view balcony view that reminded us of Paris! The only issue was that the prohibition of smoking in the room space which included the balcony! We had also spotted hotel staff inspecting balconies from the ouside whether someone's smoking... Very weird. However, our room was very clean. We booked for 3 person room and we got a double bed with two singles which allowed all of us sleep separeely. Super convinient. Hence, I can recommend this hotel. Indeed, it's not 5 star quality, but we've spent just one night and we were more than satisifed for this advertised hotel quality.
- Peter (8/5): Value-for-money hotel. - Comfortable room with effective A/C. Set Menu for breakfast has improved since my last review as I explicitly told staff what I wanted. Quiet room with all room doors closed. Large safety deposit box in bedroom. House-keeping staff and reception are friendly but not very efficient as when requested to clean my room, it took two and a half hours to commence this simple request. Mosquito sliding door broken, minor leak from underneath wash basin and cool showers on some days but I did not bother reporting these defects as I didn’t want to waste my efforts as I knew these would not be rectified promotly. Noisy traffic and road repairs operating when seated in the balcony.
- Felix (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (4/5): Hotel with inadequate breakfast and needs renovation to - Buffet breakfast was available on previous stay but was now discontinued and replaced by an inadequate 'Set Menu'. Good sized balcony but needs cleaning and renovation. Sliding door to balcony was difficult to open and close. Reported to reception but no corrective action taken. A/C gave me nasal/sinus symptoms. Noisy traffic on street when sitting on the balcony.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Dp (5/5): Passable -
- Nadine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danica (9/5): Superb -
- Shanicul (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Johnston (5/5): Passable -
- Kenneth (10/5): - The staff was very accommodating and friendly, the room was nice and very adequate. I will cherish great memories of my visit there.
- tmrstck (2/5): Do not go there - I checked in on a Sunday. There was no hot water. The safe did not work. The toilet was leaking on the floor. The tv did not work. The room was dirty. The staff was friendly but I want HOT WATER. They sent maintenance up to try to get hot water to no avail. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Despite me traveling excessively to get to the location, the hotel advised me that they had no rooms, and that Expedia was at fault and should refund my credit card.
Please action this.
- Renato (2/5): - Our booking with Expedia was declined by the hotel. This was a terrible experience to say the least. I am still waiting for a full refund of payment.
- MIRZI LYNN AGUILAR (6/5): - The staff is great. The facilities need maintenance.
- 381airena (2/5): Hotel overcharged me and did not admit their mistake. - I stayed at this hotel from Sept 16-23,2021 so that is a total of 07 nights BUT hotel charged me 08 nights stay when my check-out time was before 12 noon on 23rd Sept '21. Hotel standard check-in time is 1400 and check-out time is 12:00. When I asked why they overcharged me, they said, " we charged daily, maam". What happened to the check-in and check-out time? Is it fair? I am not happy with their service! Ridiculous.
- rommelreyes (8/5): Very enjoyable botique hotel - I've stayed in this hotel a couple of times during business trips to Cebu, which I vist very often. The rooms are small(-ish) but very comfortable and "homey". They have complete amenities for the traveller in the rooms (Wi-Fi, good sized refrigerator, TV with a lot of cable channels to choose from) and for the religious, a church right across the street where you can hear mass daily.
The breakfast buffet is "sufficient" and the staff in the hotel are super-helpful.
- Anna (4/5): - No hot water, the staff moved us to s different room but apparently no hot water in the whole hotel and it us normal. Very disappointed and still waiting for a refund
- CJ (8/5): - Nice and cheap property. Excellent service and cleanliness.
Would highly recommend to all tourists if you are looking for less budget and quality hotel in cebu city.
All the cafe and restaurants are nearby, Seven eleven 24 hours open nearby only.
- Maz (2/5): - First impressions were positive with a friendly check in experience. The room was OK, but a bit worn and tatty. There was no hot water. We reported the problem and were told that it could not be fixed until the next day. It was late, so we accepted this. The next morning we again reported the problem before going out. We returned early afternoon and only then did 'the engineer' come to check the problem. He could not fix it, mentioning something about a centralises system. Senior Management did their best to avoid us, leaving junior staff to handle our complaint. They offered another room, again no hot water. Finally they said they could bring buckets of hot water for us to wash with. Call be fussy, but I think running hot water is a prerequisite for a 3 star hotel. We asked for our money back so we could move hotels. They refused, saying it was not their policy. We decided to leave. We booked into the Quest hotel for slightly more money than we paid at St Mark. It turned out to be vastly superior.
- Maz2009 (2/5): No hot water and terrible management - We were due to stay here for 3 nights. The first night we had no hot water. We reported this to the hotel, but they could not fix the problem. They said an engineer would be needed the next day to solve the problem. The next day, the "engineer" arrived and said that the problem could not be fixed. They suggested another room, but that too had no hot water. Senior management were not to be found. The reception staff were forced to try and manage the situation whilst management stayed away. Eventually I forced myself into the back office to insist that the managers took responsibility for the situation and not leave the poor front staff to deal with it. The solution offered was to bring buckets of hot water to my room. I did not feel this was acceptable, so I asked for a refund. The hotel front officer manager, Ms Christine Vildozola said it was not the hotel's policy to provide refunds. From our point of view, the situation was untenable, so we left the hotel and moved to one which does have hot water at our own cost.
Other points. The roads around the hotel are dark at night and beggars and homeless people surround the hotel. If you walk anywhere, you will have to pass these unfortunate people each time. It can make one feel quite uneasy and unsafe. We had breakfast one day. These is tailored to Filippino guests so European guests may feel the choice is quite limited.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent boutique hotel. Spacious clean rooms, some with a balcony. Clean bathrooms and soft towels. Comfortable bed and clean, soft linen. There’s a fridge, water kettle, sat tv and fast wifi. The restaurant is small but cozy with a good selection for buffet meals.
- janah08 (8/5): skills training - the place is near within the city and church and school.as well as the supermarket, has an easy access the food taste good and its staff very couteous and accomodating its room is very clean and comfy and its affordable you can bring along your friends and family
- SaranganiDiver (6/5): So-so, not-great-value, Hotel that trys - The Good:
No check-in issues. Two small water bottles and a working security safe were provided. Good WiFi and good selection of TV channels (with an updated channel guide card). Limited Buffet Breakfast, with fresh pancake and egg service, is included. Location is good for Fuento Circle area.
The Bad:
Damage deposit of Ps1k cash required. TV premote controller required new batteries. Just one tiny soap bar and one small shampoo were the only CR amenities. Lots of lighting, but never enough light. Buffet Breakfast walk-in charge is an astounding Ps455++, so be careful who you invite for breakfast.
The Ugly:
Entrance door bumps into wardrobe door and CR door bumps into towel rack! Who designed the space?
The Tip:
Ask for a room on the 3rd floor perimeter (not odd-numbered rooms with windows looking to interior).
-- end --
- Albert_19551955 (2/5): VERY DISAPPOINTED - I wish I would have booked somewhere else! While the staff are "smiles and act nice" like the previous reviewers have commented - It is all FAKE and not genuine. As soon as you have a problem the smile goes away and they say they will address the problem but they never do.
We were traveling with an infant for his Christening and he needed a bath however there was no hot water. We contacted the front desk and they did NOTHING! After numerous complaints about no hot water from us and observing many other guests actually Yelling at the staff they sent someone up who turned on the shower... waited over 15 minutes with the water running COLD.. then said.... there's no hot water! He then said he would go look at something but never came back and we NEVER got hot water.
When we asked to speak to management they had us wait but the management never came out to speak with us. Either the manager does not care about their guests including infants and their moms. or they do not like foreigners, or their staff is not actually relaying the issues and complaints to them so they are unaware.
I also know many hotels have artificially high ratings on review sites by having people post positive reviews. I can say that over the past 5 years I have been staying at St. Mark's they have been in the past a 2.5 to 3.0 star hotel. After my last stay I would say they are actually maybe a 1.0/1.5 to 2.0 star at most. If management doesn't even care enough to meet with guests who have serious and legitimate issues and who are being very professional and not even yelling then how can they even hope to fix the issues they have???
For the money... there are DEFINITELY better options in Cebu City.
- Dan-Luckyboy (6/5): Was supposed to be good - Stayed 4-7 July
Overall their staff are very welcoming, greeting you whenever you walk in and out of the lobby and the breakfast room. But don’t expect anything more than the smiles and greetings. Here’s why:
1) to save them work, as I’m only staying for 2 nights, I told the receptionist they don’t have to clean my room but to replenish the drinking water and coffee sachet. When I returned during lunch time, only the 2 bottles of drinking water were replaced. When I left the hotel at 2pm, I reminded the receptionist for the coffee sachet. I returned at 11pm and still not replenished I gave up.
2) the tv went blackout at around 11+pm. Called the reception and they sent a man to check. He meddled with the remote controller and switched some channels and told me there’s something wrong with the cable tv. I replied I already knew. He said he will inform the reception to contact the vendor. 30 minutes gone and I called the reception, her reply was the vendor Sky TV is not working at nights. There sure an emergency number or hotline to call. Right? I suggested to reset the receiver and her reply was “there isn’t any receiver”. So I watched local tv channels without understanding local language :)
3) last straw - the next morning the only lift was under maintenance since I went for breakfast till the time I checked out. I can understand the lift needs maintenance. Its ok to carry my luggage to walk down 5th floor too. Only disappointed to walk past 3 of their staffs one after another, and none of them offered to help. As usual, they greeted with sweet smiles.
4) WiFi is intermittent. I switched it off after day one.
Overall, the room is clean and comes with a balcony. It’s nice. Everything else is very basic. The sound proof Is no good. Breakfast spread is small but they taste good. The chef is always ready to cook you an egg or pancake. They are nice.
- IndiJoe (10/5): Excellent facilities with friendly and cute front office staff. - A nice and modern hotel with all facilities. Did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on it. The deluxe suite was excellent with modern amenities. But a great thanks to their cute and professional front office staff for dealing with a trifling issue that riled me up. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it wholeheartedly!
- mdpath (10/5): Hotel with friendly service and great location - I got to stay at St Mark for 4 days. I did not expect that much as I was going to spend more of my time in a seminar. It turned out to be an enjoyable stay as the staff were all friendly, accomodating and professional. From the doorman, front desk to the waiters in Halo and cleaners of the room. The location is also a plus. If you are a Catholic, the redemptorist is just across the hotel. I was able to attend mass during my stay. Convenience stores, restaurants are very near the hotel.
- TorAus (8/5): Nice central hotel - Didn't know what to expect when I got here, but was pleasantly surprised.
Hotel seems modern and staff is friendly and service minded.
Beds are comfy and had a nice room with a small balcony. The room was clean.
One problem is that the water flowed out on the bathroom floor when taking a shower, so it was wet everywhere. Would also be good to have a line to hang clothes for drying on the balcony.
The breakfast was a bit skimpy
- Manuel (10/5): Great stay in Cebu - The Staff were very professional, the room spacious and great location with surrounding eatury joints.
- makakito (10/5): Superb - We were visiting Cebu and I was quite afraid of the multiple bad reviews of the several hotels, and settled for St mark, despite the scathing bad reviews about the location.
The quality of the hotel, the varied breakfast was the best I have seen in years.
The employees are truly amazing, and very professional.
The location proved also to be a blessing in disguise, as the area is a bit more calm in traffic, if that exists in Cebu.
The balconies were a pleasant surprise, with the exception they let guests smoke on them, and often in a while you have to close the wc window because of that.
Overall, we were very impressed with the quality of this hotel, and was a very positive experience.
PS I also recommend for anyone to install grab to deal with the island taxis. It's an huge stress saver.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The location was the best. Everything is within walking distance, less than 10 min walk to food area, shopping, church across the street. Night life happening and busy. Wish I could stay longer.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Ok for a night, clean but very average, pros: the food at breakfast was very good, Cons: we didn’t like the smell of the room.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Washroom flooding with them knowing about it and still, they are booking the room to clients. There was water leaking into the other room I booked. So disappointed. I will never book in this hotel ever again.
- LostinBohol (6/5): Lots of promise. Good location. Great staff. But.... - We have traveled to the Philippines for 30 years, always staying at Cebu Midtown/Summit Hotel. This time, for Sinulog, we decided to switch things up and decided on St Mark's. Our first impression - it was clean and professional. The doormen, bellmen, front desk staff and housekeeping were amazing. I wish we had noted the names of the front desk staff, but one of the ladies was always ready to Google Sinulog schedules, ferry schedules, weather reports, etc. She is what every front desk employee should aspire to be. She was so helpful and attentive and truly is one of the best we have ever encountered, whether in the US or elsewhere
We stayed in 2 different rooms over the course of our stay due to our late booking arrangements. 1 room was on the 4th floor and 1 on the 5th floor. Both rooms were very clean and well maintained, or as well maintained as any hotel room we have stayed in the Philippines.
Here's the problem, and for us it was a big one. There was no hot water in either room we stayed in. There was sometimes lukewarm water for showering, and sometimes it was a bit cool, but never, ever hot for our entire 2 week stay. Did we complain? No. As the problem existed in 2 different rooms on 2 different floors, it had to be an engineering issue, or a building-wide issue, and we didn't expect them to repair a building-wide issue for 2 guests. I'm sure they knew of the problem, and for whatever reason chose to ignore it. It's not even that we were taking showers during peak times. There was just never a hint of hot water at any time of the day. Most Filipinos I'm sure are used to this. Most travelers from the West are definitely not and expect hot water in a mid-range hotel.
We had breakfast in the small restaurant on the 2nd floor. The buffet is definitely geared to Filipino tastes, but the ever-ready chef was always willing to cook up pancakes, omelettes, or eggs.
St Mark's is THE perfect location for Sinulog. I love the location, which is out of the busy Fuente or Ayala areas. The beds were comfy, the room we stayed had a balcony, the air-con was cold (but make sure it is clean), and bath supplies were always refreshed.
St Mark's - fix or upgrade the hot water for showers, & raise your rates if you have to do it because you have a gem just waiting to be polished. You are so close, especially with your amazing staff, to truly being a great hotel
- VictorM4421 (6/5): Good Value Hotel - Large rooms with balconies. Large comfortable beds. Great staff and excellent buffet breakfast.Great hotel for the price. We will put this one at the top of our list next time we are in Cebu.We were there at New Year so we had a great view of the fireworks over Cebu City from our 5th floor balcony.
- Marklf53 (10/5): Great Value - This was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are fantastic, location is great. Very new hotel and is in great condition. Rooms have balconies, good bed, nice bathroom. Definitely a place I will come back to.
- Alisa (8/5): Great hotel I’d book again - We were very happy with this hotel. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, and the staff were great. They even handed out complimentary cookies with personalised, hand written tags on NYE which was very sweet. The only complaint was the lack of hot water in the shower. The area also didn’t feel that safe late at night. Other than that, we had a great stay!
- Millicent (8/5): Nice and clean but no hot water - The room was nice and clean, air-con was good and in room facilities good. There was no hot water though and had to shower in cold/ lukewarm water. The room service menu looked great, but nothing was available to order except the club sandwich. It arrived and was terrible. I couldn't eat it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We just stayed over night. Nice place, location was great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Love having the balcony me and my wife always stay here when I'm flying home or out reseanable price clean and professional
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Close to airport and affordable . Staff are very helpful
- Dale (6/5): - This hotel has always been my go-to hotel the last 5-6 times I've visited Cebu. But, this time it was disappointing. The rooms were the same with comfort level on par. But, you can really feel like this hotel is struggling now. The last time I visited, was only 3-4 months ago, and now there was only 1 person I recognized -the head chef. Completely new staff otherwise, which suggests a very high turnover rate. And after observing everyone, there are no more smiles.. that make you feel welcome. The breakfast buffet is no longer suggested to be included in your package. Even this one, has seen budget cuts and selection has been limited. Juices offered are powdered substitutes, not the "fresh" taste. The food is still good overall. The Wifi internet seems to have been downgraded as well, as speed to connect on devices is limited. In our room, the signal to reach the internet was almost nonexistent, forcing me to leave the comfort of my room for a seat in the hall when conducting business on my laptop. Also, every night there was some type of private gathering in the cafe below us. This accompanied loud music until 11pm most nights. The hotel did issue notices delivered to the door each day for these parties, but that didn't dull the inconvenience of having the sound booming beneath your feet. This is still a great place with a comfortable bed to lay your head at night. Just don't expect more than that. Convenient location, but lots of homeless all around on both sides.
- Arlene (8/5): - The place is clean, comfortable and they have good friendly staff. Breakfast and service were good. However, we were not informed when we checked in that room cleaning is by request so we were surprised when we got back to the hotel and found our rooms still messy.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great Hotel close to all the city night life good breakfast will stay again
- Dani (10/5): - The hotel was great it was really clean and comfy.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Penthouse - Stayed at the penthouse for 3 nights but it does not feel like penthouse. The room is smelly and both tv upstairs and downstairs are not working.
