Judith (8/5): - De suite chateau was ruim en had een mooi uitzicht op het kasteel. Het derde bed was een slaapbank, maar deze was zeer oncomfortabel. De ligging van het hotel was heel sfeervol (midden in het dorp, bij de bezienswaardigheden en de natuur). Het spagedeelte in het hotel was erg mooi. Wij vonden het wel jammer dat in de sauna's badkleding niet was toegestaan. Het ontbijt was erg lekker en uitgebreid. Tip: als je in het laagseizoen komt, kun je gratis parkeren naast het hotel.
HannahHavannah (10/5): Had a great stay - We had an amazing stay. We booked the duplex suite through social deal and everything went seamlessly. The staff is very friendly, the room very clean. Diner was good, breakfast was good and the spa was very relaxing before a long drive home. Would definitly stay here again.
MAUREEN (10/5): - The hotel receptionist Pedro was fantastic. He was professional, helpful and kind. He should be promoted to manager. The kitchens delivered up delicious food. Our server in the restaurant was forgetful though. We stayed one night in the Design hotel and the other night in the Kroener connected sister hotel. Both of our rooms were beautiful, well decorated, spacious and clean. I recommend these hotels.

Wobbly toilet seat, one sink fine the other missing chrome attachments, chips and marks etc. All little things easy to fix that took the shine of an otherwise decent hotel. The carpets in the lobby were overdue a scrub, while the copy paste art work on every landing felt as if you were going around in circles. Personal choice, but we prefer bathrooms with physical doors. Our room was open plan and it seemed an oversight not to fit pocket sliding doors. The Hotel was fully booked but we noticed older rooms had these. The Spa services we didn’t use, the Jacuzzi was cold and a little grimy, whilst the swimming pool though great in photos was sardine tin packed. In fairness it is a small pool so doesn’t take much to feel busy. Believe non guests may also pay to use, perhaps in peak occupancy this could be reviewed. Hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. If you are able to get a deal, then it makes sense, otherwise …….
heffner996 (2/5): Misleading Services & Overpriced for What You Get - We chose Le Clervaux Boutique Hotel because it advertises itself as a premium “4 Étoiles Supérieur” property with services such as room service, concierge, and luggage assistance. Unfortunately, none of this was true in practice. Our room was not ready at the 16:00 check-in time. Room service is heavily advertised online and in-room (with menus and internal phone numbers), but it simply does not exist. I tried calling for over an hour with no answer; when I finally reached staff via an external number, they admitted the phones do not work and that there is no real room service — guests must walk to the restaurant themselves. No concierge or luggage assistance was available, despite being listed as an amenity. All of this while charging €240 per night, more than double the price of other hotels in Clervaux that are transparent about what they offer.
Evi (6/5): Mooi hotel maar niet comfortabel geslapen - Een fantastisch mooi hotel waar het zeker de moeite is om de upgrade naar de suite te nemen. Mooie kamers op een centrale ligging. Wel hoop ik dat er meer concurrentie komt voor dit hotel. Enkele opvallende zaken tijdens ons verblijf: 1: matrassen zijn veel te zacht. 4 nachten hierdoor slecht geslapen. De receptie kon het niks uitmaken. 2: room service wordt toch niet aangeboden. Als je belt nemen ze niet op. Vervolgens zeggen ze dat je beneden moet komen en vervolgens zeggen ze je daar dat ze geen room service doen. 3: Sauna gebied is mooi meegenomen maar zou er niet extra voor betalen. 4: zwembad deel is mooi (wel een beetje koud) 5: de massage was heerlijk en kan ik aanraden.

Winfried (8/5): - Zimmer, Juniorsuite war groß und sehr gut ausgestattet, neuwertig mit bequemen Betten. Geschmacklich ist die ganze Hoteleinrichtung nicht unsere Richtung, aber das ist halt Geschmacksache. Schwimmbad hat angenehme Größe, manchmal waren wir alleine dort, manchmal ist es eher voll. Der Ort ist guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren mit dem ÖPNV.

hansent1105 (6/5): Nice hotel all in all but room for improvement - We booked a normal suite, but during Check in there seemed to be a problem, we have been asked if we have booked a "suite historique" (which we didnt) and the receptionist already indicated it might not be ideal. But as it seemed for whatever reason we had been assigned a suite historique (room 311) although we did not book one. The room was under the roof, so me and my pregnant wife had to watch out for our heads because we are tall people. It was also very old fashioned. When I went back to the reception fortunately a solution could be found as there was another available room in the other building (hotel was officially fully booked). It cost us 15 Euros more than in our initial reservation, in my opinion the hotel management could have just asked us the same price as a commercial gesture (the new room was only available at 16:30) due to the inconvenience caused. We were offered a voucher for a drink at the bar though and the staff was friendly and helpful. The new room (Suite Number 12) was perfect, clean spacious and nicely equipped. Only the bed mattrass should be replaced soon in my opinion (for me it was too soft, as i have back problems i am a bit sensible though). We had booked half pension, the dinner was very nice, also the location. Only (slight) disappointment was that we had to not only pay for our drinks but also a complementary amount because appearantly the price of the menu which we booked in advance had changed in the meantime. I thought that was a bit unusual. I would come back though but i would definitely insist on not booking a "suite historique" in order to avoid any misunderstandings. The suite historique 311 is in my opinion not worth being called a "suite".
Tim (8/5): - Fantastische omgeving, echt genoten. Qua accommodatie had ik meer verwacht voor deze prijzen. Ontbijt was karig en ongezellige ontbijtzaal. Op het eerste gezicht leek de kamer schoon, maar de kussens en het dekbed hadden hun beste tijd gehad en waren absoluut niet fris. Verder prima hotel.
rodrigoalonso2024 (6/5): Big expextations not fulfilled this time - I have booked a suite to offer to my family a great experience at your hotel, taking as reference past stays I had there. However the quality of the room and the service was not at the expected level. The room was not prepared for 3 people (missing bathrobe, towels, sleepers), it was cold with limited adjustment in the heating system and the auxiliary bed had no blanket at all. When we tried to call the reception the phones did not work and when the room service came, the person only brought from linen but not blankets. The breakfast was crowded, and despite your team tried to refill it soon, many basic things were missed: small spoons for example. Very disappointed.

Luis M (8/5): SPA stop on way to Cologne - Two day spa stay in Clerveaux on our way to Cologne. Although the hotel is in need of a full renovation, the staff was courteous and the SPA was first class.
Francisco (10/5): Visiting from San Juan - Nice rooms, but beds did not have a fitted sheet between flat sheet and mattress protector, so you had to sleep in contact with either the mattress protector or the comforter. I asked for a fitted sheet, but none was provided.

peepuuekula (6/5): Comfortable room but services and amenities seem to be on cost-cutting mode. - It was our second stay at Le Clervaux Boutique Hotel. This time the check-in was confusing as the reception is located at Koener Hotel. We received some misleading directions how to find our room and had to run back and forward in the rain. Restaurants ... despite initial guidance by staff, Rhino Sports Bar was closed during all days (Th, Fr). Later we were informed that it is closed for time being ... the label on the entrance tells abut exceptional closure that day! When enquired about another restaurant attached to the hotel (Italian restaurant) we were told that they don't know as it doesn't belong to the group running the two hotels. Finding a breakfast room was a challenge, the facility is unusually large, a quiet music would made it much more comfortable. The breakfast selection itself was rather disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The Brasserie restaurant is located next to the reception and has quite boring setup in the adjacent building made of glass. Room service replenished a coffee capsules to decaf only ... no new tea bag was added. The Spa is nothing special, there were two minors playing ball in the pool and making quite some noise. Despite these disappointments, our room (suite) was clean and comfortable. BTW, no questions like "how was your stay" at check-out.

Verified traveler (6/5): - Sich im Hotel rumzufinden ist schon anstrengend. Vom Parking, über die unzähligen Aufzüge und Wege ohne Plan ist schon schwer zumutbar. Sehr schönes Hotel und Zimmer aber Kissen sind sehr hart und obwohl die Rezeption 24 offen hat geht keiner dran um andere zu bekommen. Spa ist veraltet und Frühstück sehr einfach. Allem in allem zu teuer für was man bekommt.
Katrien (8/5): - Het was de 2de keer dat we verbleven in Le Clervaux. De receptie was moeilijk te vinden en bevond zich in hotel Koener wat toch een stuk minder uitstraling heeft dan Le Clervaux. De kamers waren nog steeds prima en zagen er zeer luxueus uit. We hadden een mooie suite met aparte living met zicht op het kasteel maar de zetel was vuil, aparte slaapkamer met bed met zeer zachte matras, apart toilet en badkamer met grote regendouche en bad. Aan het zwembad was nog niet veel veranderd en ouderwerts. We hebben gegeten in Brasserie Koener. De bediening was heel vriendelijk maar het voorgerecht liet wat lang op zich wachten, we vroegen het dan na en toen kregen we het direct.... een fles wijn was zeer duur maar je had geen keuze. Het ontbijt was in de feestzaal van de hotels. Heel ongezellig, en waarschijnlijk was ook het ontbijt van hotel Koener daar. Verder was de kwaliteit ok. Kortom het hotel Le Clervaux was ok maar de prijs niet meer waard omdat het samen gaat met het veel goedkopere hotel Koener. Spijtig.

Badkamer overtreft alles, vrijstaand bubbelbad en supergrote regendouche. kortom: geweldige hotelsuite. de sauna, wellness en zwembad zijn inclusief en zeker de moeite waard! Clervaux was erg rustig, weinig vertier helaas, wel lekker gegeten bij brasserie Koenen en het ontbijt is fantastisch!

Verified traveler (4/5): Bad service and no bed for our child as promissed - So disappointed with the stay. Long in-check and service almost non-existing. I had to ask the staff in the desk several times for the bed for our little child which I had booket with the stay AND double-checked the day before that I was sure to have a bed for our child!! It was confirmed in e mail by the hotel! First time I asked for the bed they looked confused. I was told it would be in our room later. By dinnertime it still wasn’t and I asked again in service. (They did not give us any follow up..) now there was no bed! We have a little child who has to sleep!! But the staff promised to find out something for us. We would expect to a 4 star hotel that we would hear from the staff again so we knew what to do. But they seemed to have forgotten about us. The hours went by and almost 3 hours!!! Later when we all had gone into bed trying to sleep somehow the staff came with a bed!! Some of it. We had to wait again for the last bit of it and by 11 in the evening!!! Way past bedtime for our child we could go to sleep. So bad with no information or follow up!!
Casper (8/5): Lækkert hotel i hyggelige omgivelser. - Super lækre store værelser. Dejligt wellness område, men der kunne godt være en begrænsning på antallet af personer i poolen, da den var lidt overfyldt. Morgenmaden var ok, men savnede pølser til mine røræg og bacon.

Kerry (8/5): - Our room was on the first floor with 5 windows over looking the buzy square. I felt very exposed and uncomfortable. You had to close the curtains to get dressed or if coming in or out of the bathroom. It would be simple to put up privacy curtains or frosted glass. This aspect spoiled our stay.
Dienko (10/5): Fantastisch Clervaux - Zeker een aanrader om hier te verblijven. Ruime kamer en douche.
Dennis (10/5): - Bij het ontbijt miste ik een prullenbakje op tafel. Ook miste ik een scherp mes om de broodjes open te snijden, de messen op tafel waren niet scherp. Het ontbijt was zelf erg goed en lekker. De kamer was erg ruim opgezet en netjes. Er zat een grote scheur in het gordijn maar dit was niet storend maar gaf een ietwat armoedige indruk.

David (10/5): Très bel hôtel dans le centre de Clervaux - J'ai passé deux nuits dans cet hôtel situé dans le centre de Clervaux. L'infrastructure et le service sont très complets. Le personnel très professionnel. Le petit-déjeuner est parfait. Le SPA est très bien entretenu et très agréable. De nombreuses ballades sont directement accessibles à partir de Clervaux. 2 petites observations: la poubelle du locataire précédent n'était pas vidée et certaines chaines TV ne fonctionnent pas correctement mais c'est un détail.

The only downside was the pool/spa was very crowded. I would definitely stay again the next time in in the area.

Jan Peter (6/5): - Hotel uitgezocht op aanwezigheid van Spa en zwembad. Deze bleek zonder hierover te zijn geïnformeerd te zijn gesloten vanwege onderhoud. Ook tijdens inchecken hier geen informatie over. Moesten we achter komen bij reservering zwembad. Personeel doet hoog nodige, is afstandelijk en weinig service gericht.

DAVID (6/5): Bof Bof - Jolie chambre cependant quelques oublis et quelques déceptions/standing supposé. Ce n est absolument pas un boutique hotel mais un groupe hotelier qui vient juste d être repris . Dans le désordre : pas de chaussons pour aller au spa ou a la piscine, pas de recharge de savon dans la salle de bain, pas de recharge des dosettes de café...à côté de cela 1 seule reception pour les 2/3 hotels attenants et 2 restaurants où la cuisine est très passable...bref...très très déçu...et aucun geste commercial bien entendu suite a mes remarques.
Bognolo (8/5): Anniversaire de mariage - Sejours tres sympas personel tres pro merci au maitre d hotel pour son agreable acceuil et c est le seul qui nous est souhaité un joyeux anniversaire de mariage le jour j car j avais précisé aucun geste n a ete fait decus de ce côté j avais reserve une suite avec jacusy mais nous avons eu une suite avec baignoire et tres grande douche mais tres tres belle cela dit car la fusion de cette hotel leur ont cree des beug et ma demande n a pas ete prise en compte

Chambre, suite plutôt, immense comprenant un salon, chambre à coucher avec dressing, salle de bain splendide avec baignoire à remous immense tout comme la douche. La décoration est juste parfaite. Accueil très sympathique. Petit déjeuner parfait, du choix et personnel aimable. Situation impeccable en centre ville, beaucoup de parking à proximité.

John (10/5): Best Place to Stay in Clervaux - The hotel, room, and staff were all exceeding of our expectations. The room was comfy, spacious, and had plenty of amenities. The pool and spa area was very nice and relaxing. The pool was a bit small and seemed to struggle to accommodate the amount of people there. There was a slight hiccup with housekeeping not having our room ready by 15:00 but the lady checking us in went out of her way to make sure we were still happy and comfortable while we waited an additional 15 or so minutes. It really wasn't an issue.

lisa (6/5): - great staff in restaurants with delicious food breakfast and the Italian restaurant. room pretty and comfortable but shower door came off hinge (i am a 5 foot tall and 120 lb female-not that strong). but the worst was the unwelcoming beginning to our stay. No parking. drove up to front of hotel. no lobby, no bellman/valet. we had to leave the car and take the elevator up to a dingy office to check in and beg for help with our baggage. Parking garage has a rough angle to get into, difficult to maneuver. Spots are tiny. Not a 5 star experience.
Verified traveler (8/5): Good but some issues - Large, clean, comfortable, modern room. Maybe too modern. I was unable to convince the thermostat that I wanted the room cooler. Reception advised me to do what I had already discovered after several hours of no change. Eventually the temp dropped 1 degree overnight. I was unable to find a wall switch to activate the outlet connected to the coffee maker in the morning. I gave up in frustration. The hotel has also managed to design boutique signs which fail to clarify anything. It took three help requests to find reception when we arrived. I suppose I could just be stupid, but I had no problems with the first 37 days of my trip and all those hotels. Could have been a five star rating but I found it too irritating to return. Breakfast was pretty good.
Tim (10/5): Luxury away from the tourists. - Absolutely blown away by how gorgeous and luxurious this hotel is!! After being crammed into typical tiny hotel rooms around Europe for the week prior, we were pinching ourselves when we entered our room. It was so spacious, so comfy. We didn't want to leave, and agreed we would come back to spend a week. The town was refreshingly free of tourists, so we got to enjoy a real breather, living like a local for the day. Considering we paid the same here for our room as we did for a 'matchbox' in Paris, Clervaux Boutique & Design Hotel was outstanding.
tg (8/5): Great spa in a very quiet town - We came for the spa, included in the room price- it was a winner: sauna, steam room, salt room, infrared room and whirlpool/pool with a relaxation room. I was disappointed with the massage as it did not relax me much. Fabulous breakfast, comfy bed and great bath. Disappointed in the decor- odd pictures of faces. Disappointed in the size of the town. Nearby photo exhibit on the family of man was astounding.

Edit (10/5): Weekend in Clervaux - Design hotel, nicely furnished, not always practical tough. The sauna area is great, the pool and Jacuzzi had too cold water. If you want some spa services, book it way ahead your arrival, they are fully booked. Staff is very nice, helpful. Pleasant weekend overall.

As a woman, I had nowhere, except the floor, to put my hair shampoo and conditioner - maybe an easy to install metal 'shelf/cage structure' just big enough to put shampoo & conditioner near the soap dish! ;)
Farzad (10/5): Awesome haven - We reserved this hotel thinking it was in Luxembourg city. It is NOT. One hour north in the country mountains. But boy were we glad we were forced that we came along this haven in such a resort style European village. The suites are incredibly modern. The bathroom was superb. You don't want to leave the room. The small restaurants around it are quite romantic. Parking must be reserved. They really have no parking.

Steve (10/5): Outstanding Accomodations - We stayed 2 nights in this modern luxury hotel located in the small resort town of Clervaux while on vacation. The suite was beautifully furnished, clean, modern and HUGE. We were there in the "off" season so there were not many guests in the other suites. Staff was friendly, but we had some trouble with communication since we speak no french. One would hope that an International Hotel would do a bit better with staff fluent in several other languages. The complete facilities included a large pool, spa, massage room and a choice of two dining rooms. A delicious breakfast buffet was part of the package each morning. Overall it's an outstanding place to stay.
