It did not smell good, particularly in the bathroom. It was run down, with doors off kitchen cabinets and the bedroom door gone and no rubbish bin. We stayed there not long ago and it just seemed to have quite run done in a short space of time.

George (9/5): On the whole, a quiet and enjoyable stay and in a great location. - Had to change rooms because tv did not work. Upgrade was good but heaters did not work but were quickly replaced. The large couch was too low and too hard. 1 would have preferred a comfortable lounge chair. There was only one dining chair yet the room was outfitted for 2 people! I enjoyed the disability bathroom😃

Judith (8/5): It was fine - we found it was a bit difficult to find, being that the name was changed that day from Mercure, and had become Mantra, so had to drive round and round the block, before going into the other Mercure, and they just said, it is round the corner, not telling us the name was being changed that very moment

On the morning of our departure, housekeeping entered our room - the hotel’s housekeeping entered my room before i had checked out, treated it as vacant, and removed and threw away my personal belongings. In short: a serious breach of privacy, poor communication, and negligence with my property.
Wonmi (6/5): I dont think I will stay here again. If I were to, I would just upgrade to the one bed apartment . - Great location close to everything. Staff was lovely and nice. The building was old. Especially the studio at the top on level 15. Everything was scratched and felt abit eerie cause of how old it was. The property also mid way rebranded from Mercure to Mantra so I was really confused . Would have been nice to see them explain that because on maps I had trouble getting my back and finding where it was since Mercure wasnt showing up. It was way too expensive for how damaged my room was.

A dishcloth would have been handy. (We did ask) Aircon would be nice. We had the windows open but that did make it a little noisy at night.

We attended the CubaDupa event. We found our room so very noisy all night and didn’t get a good rest. For what it cost we expected better than this. We’ve stayed at other hotels that were cheaper and rested well and without the clanging and banging.

Very friendly and helpful staff Lots of nearby eateries. Really liked the Atrium Cafe and Soul Shack right next door. Parking building very close. Paid the daily rate at reception and they organised the rest. Enjoyed the harbour view. We were on floor 15 so quiet. Speedy lift. Great shower pressure and really good the have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and body lotion provided. I guess the room was a bit tired but we didn’t mind as it was reasonably priced for city centre accommodation.

TV in living and bedroom was also nice Bathroom was teeny tiny and difficult to use as a 6ft1 male. Mattress was solid and uncomfortable. Kept getting room service despite having sign up requesting for it to not occur.

We went out for meals but did make our own breakfast. Good sized bathroom and comfortable bed. Great accommodation but quite dated and could do with some renovation. Parking is available off-site @ $35 per 24 hours. maybe some updating of the decor

There was swelling in the room around the windows that had been puttied up and painted over (this indicated a previous leak that had been poorly fixed), the smell of the room was musty and damp, noisey from surroundings, no air conditioning, the walls had random patches of wood that covered damage by the looks of things. Very poorly looked after building. I was coughing throughout the night and in the morning - Building seems unlivable.

Wasn’t a particularly comfortable place, although bed was very comfortable. The space is not ergonomically working. Annoying. I would not stay again. The staff were wonderful - helpful, accommodating requests, pleasant and friendly.

Alexander (8/5): - Sehr zentrale Lage ins Zentrum. Sehr gute Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Man muss aus dem Hotel heraus und etwa 150 Meter / 3 Minuten laufen, um zum Frühstücksraum gehen, da dieses nicht im eigenen Hotel befindet.

Gordon (5/5): It suited us to be central in the city but the hotel room was a bit average, reasonable value for money. - Very central Was a bit grubby and not well maintained, the bathroom heater did not work, and the paintwork was rough

Leanne (9/5): The weather wasn't great so didn't do much. The room was comfortable and the staff very helpful - Location was great - close to restaurants. The extra cost to park our car at a parking garage a block away. Nowhere to park car to unload luggage.
