There was a man that came around offering a tour on a boat and it was excellent, it actually made my day and was the best part of staying at Tortuga Village. The pool was not the cleanest. Its a long pool divided into two parts and the lower part was dirty. It just needs to be fixed with more skimmers.

Le restaurant, nourriture très ordinaire et chère on vous charge même le lait pour mettre dans le café le matin. Un soir le poulet était tellement sec que nous n'avons rien mangé ,on a eu droit à un rabais de 15%... Nous avons découvert malheureusement le dernier soir qu'il y avait un excellent restaurant juste à côté accessible par la plage.

Ils pourraient également investir sur des rideaux opaques. Le soir les lumières restent allumées jusqu’à très tard, le matin le soleil brille, les beau rideaux blancs ne sont pas très utiles. La seule option de restauration offre un menu limité.

We had to leave early and no reimbursement. The curtains were thin and didn't cover windows. Bright lights right outside the window all night long. Bed uncomfortable and cheap sheets on it. Extremely strong cleaning smell in room. Room was outdated. Loud music late in evening, not relaxing. Breakfast was not good and seemed like cheapest processed food was used. Extremely disappointing and they did not refund us leaving 4 days early.

It's not a big hotel so it's a more chill and a quiet vibe. I did get a massage while I was there and it was a nice option. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the bungalows were clean, you get your own. I really like the outside hammock/living room/dining outside The newly renovated pool was nice and I loved the inside the pool lunge chairs, that was a plus! Tho I appreciate the staff and their kindness after a while I felt overwhelmed with the pressure to eat at the hotel. Once I had 4 people asking me about my food order for the night including the chef himself. Don't get me wrong the food was delicious, thou it's a bit on the pricy end and it's only one style, Peruvian. The beach area was not the cleanest either. It was sad to see garbage and plastics on the nearby sides of the beach by the hotel. Also if you don't have a car the location can be rough because there are no ubers in the area unless they call a taxi for you.

• Oliver (9/5): Great family holiday - Tortuga Village is an ideal choice for families, with comfortable bungalows. Staff was very friendly and attentive, they are always at your disposal. Gave us good recommendation for a local boat trip which was one of the highlights of our Salvador trip. There is no restaurant, they serve the meals up to your bungalow, which is a nice touch. Restaurant could have more non-sea food options.

• Skyler (9/5): Superb - Beautiful, small hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly. The bungalows are so cute. We really liked the lounge area underneath each one that allowed us to relax in a hammock or eat in close proximity to our room. The pool and beach area are well cared for. Our only complaint was the lack of vegetarian food options. The entire menu is filled with meat and seafood options. That being said, the staff worked with us and managed to come up with some delicious vegetarian variations. We also had to pay for food service every night before going to bed rather than at the end of our stay - so go find someone to pay before going to bed.

Included breakfast was great and their full menu had tons of delicious options too. The grounds were beautifully maintained and relaxing. The bungalow was clean, comfortable, and greatly decorated. The pool was super enjoyable, and the beach is only a few feet away. And best of all— the staff were excellent. They were kind, courteous, and were extremely generous in making our stay the best. I will be coming back here without question!

They are all amazing!! They really go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The location is beautiful with amazing views and very quiet. It’s the perfect place for a romantic getaway And I will definitely be returning in the future. Price is a little high on the food/drinks but it’s understandable since your at a higher end location.
