- Zoe (1/5): It was a cultural shock to visit. People and staff was lovely just a different way of life for sure - The grounds were maintained well. Rooms cleaned every day- free WiFi Lots of choice of food. Nice weather. My mum got cholera 2 days into the stay she was very poorly the hospital on site was refusing to take both travel insurances we had for our stay and was insisting on cash. Couldn’t really leave the complex as wasn’t very safe. About 2 hours away from any decent beach. Food was ok. Not for my pallet but lots of choice. We upgraded our rooms to a villa wasn’t really worth the money. I wouldn’t be coming back. Any popular drink you would normally order is charged as an extra- even though we was all inclusive didn’t even stay 5 days - we left as soon as possible we was booked in for 2 weeks

Es wurde täglich geputzt, Moskitonetz wurde geöffnet und abends wurde es wieder geschlossen und gesprüht. Wir hatten nichts an Mücken oder sonstiges im Zimmer. TOP Die Lage war sehr abseits. Aber dafür kein Abzug.

- Khululekile (4/5): - My wife I and our inlaws had food poisoning. We struggled to get immediate assistance and had to wait it out, which got worse by the day. We had to get back to South Africa to get the necessary help. That spoiled our stay and we were then miserable and locked up for the last few days due to severe cramping, diarrhea.
- Tazim (10/5): Beautiful resort and very friendly staff - Very nice African themed and lovely beach front. Has different sections of resort with 3 pools. Buffet restaurant with different food stations. Indian restaurant. Has a medical centre on site as well. We had a couple of Masai themed entertainment on couple of the nights. Overall a fantastic stay and highly recommend. My friends room kept on having leaks in the bathroom and then the wooden mosquito net frame fell and thankfully she didn’t get hurt. It was all dealt with and fixed. Finally the roof started to leak towards the last couple of days due to very heavy rain. She was moved to another room as was a long job.

- Venessa (6/5): Oké, maar absoluut niet voor herhaling vatbaar - De accommodatie was fris en ruim. De wastafel is wat klein maar verder prima. Personeel is top en heel lief. De animatie is top Ze doen t voorkomen alsof er een mooi strand voor de deur ligt. Alles is behalve waar! Eb en vloed speelt waardoor de modderige poel van hout en afvalresten te voorschijn komen. Dat is de natuur. Maar dat veranderd niet al t plastic en de gore luiers die overal verspreid liggen zoals bij de speeltuin en de trampoline en de strandbedjes. Verder is het niet een plek wat uitnodigt om lekker in zee te zwemmen. Verder is het eten lauw. Wat heet moet zijn is lauw en de wat koud hoort te zijn is ook lauw. Alle weken geen last gehad van mijn buik. Niet in Tanzania en ook niet op ons andere verblijf (4 dagen) op Zanzibar. Maar op Paradise Beach zijn we alle drie aan de buikloop gegaan.

- Marnus (8/5): - The resort was excellent overall, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, I did experience one notable issue regarding the service from the staff. I noticed that guests on the All-Inclusive package were treated preferentially compared to those on the Full Board package. My wife and I were on the Full Board package. During meals, staff would regularly approach our All-Inclusive friends to offer drinks, while often overlooking or failing to greet us at the same table. After our friends departed, this difference became even more apparent. We frequently had to wait nearly 20 minutes for simple requests like water, while guests seated next to us on the All-Inclusive package received their drinks within about 5 minutes — even when we had ordered first. Apart from this, our stay was amazing. I believe it would greatly improve the guest experience if staff were reminded to treat all customers with the same level of attention and respect, regardless of the wristband or package they have.

The food was excellent a great variety three meals per day wide spread Smorgasboard all you can eat quality food, very friendly and helpful staff in the kitchen and around the resort the tours are on offer and are really worthwhile. The rooms are clean and large with great views.

I enjoyed every moment at paradise beach resort. It was my honeymoon and honestly I would not change my experience for anything else. This is Paradise.

- David (7/5): Schöner Urlaub mit kleinen Abstrichen - Gepflegte Anlage mit schönem Strandabschnitt. Steg zum einfachen Einstieg ins Meer. Personal war freundlich und höflich. Das Bett (Matratze) hat sehr unangenehm gerochen, auch ein Wechsel der Bettwäsche hat nur kurz Abhilfe geleistet. Liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass die Matratze auf Beton liegt und nicht auf einem Holzbett. Das Hauptrestaurant wird aktuell (April 2026) abgerissen und umgebaut. Deshalb begrenzte Essensauswahl, da ein Spezialitätenrestaurant als Hauptrestaurant diente.
- Preoshnee (8/5): Great, relaxing holiday - There was sufficient items for breakfast, however breakfast is the same every day, There are 2 lovely pools on the resort with a bar at each pool. There are also 2 other bars with 1 being open 24hours. The staff are very friendly and accommdating. We had a wonderful , relaxing stay at the resort. We booked all inclusive and I think that's best as meals and drinks are charged in USD. There are 3 restaurants on the resort, however 1 was under renovation during our stay. We didn't mind as the other 2 restaurants had a variery of meals every day for lunch and dinner. Uroa is a Bay area so the tide goes out in the morning and comes back early evening. We were not able to swim at the beach when the tide is out and there are also alot of seaweed.
- Janina (8/5): Safe, Beautiful, Chilled Stay in Uroa - The Hotel is well maintained, the pools are cleaned, the breakfast and lunch buffet offers a wide variety. The people working in the hotel, greet all, smile all, also seem very happy and friendly. The service was extra good, the room always clean. Every day fresh free water. Every day they assure your mosquito net is sprayed and indeed i did not get much mosquito. The animation was good in the hotel too. Not to much or pushing. There is small shops in the hotel, they have a nice selection and well maintained. The tailor as well did a very good job and she finished the dress within one day!! The themed Indian restaurant was also nice! The lightning in the evening is nice and cosy. I felt safe at all times! Oh and the beach. All beaches are beautiful in Zanzibar but here one need to know that the water removes over 100 meters in the morning and its only good for swimming in the afternoon. Also the palms or not to common on the beach but that is the fauna and flora there! I loved it Sometime steh hot food was cold. The gym is not in good shape. One machine is broken and i found a whole week teh same dirt on the floor. The people in the spa gym are nocturnal speaking well english, the water was empty once, no towels available only if you ask. The machines look dirty, and the aircon was not working very well there. The variety of the music played during lunch dinner and breakfast or at the pool could be a little more. I know have all the same songs in my ear. It was at times really smelly coming from the beach. I think this was a big downside of this location to be honest.

The ease of meals and drinks in the same place also helps. The Namaste Restuarant, where Indian cuisine dinner was served is absolutely a must do. The food is incredible! The cleanliness of the place is poor. The bed sheets and pillows smelt like dirty socks. Additionally, the food in their Bataar restaurant, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served often tastes expired or not well cooked. It was difficult to eat.

- JoanaRDG (7/5): Family vacation - A pleasant place to relax and unwind, from confusion and stress The meals had little variety for people who are used to more neutral food without so many seasonings. I understand that it’s important to experience the local culture, but I found it excessive. I also understand that the facilities reflect the location we are in, but the food refrigeration conditions were very poor. The butter would melt and the cheese was always soft and melted. On Booking, it mentions a refrigerator in the rooms, but there isn’t one.

Ich hatte eine schöne, entspannte, erholsame, friedvol - Sehr sauber und gepflegt, das Personal war sehr bemüht und stets sehr freundlich. Die Anlage mit den Pools war gut unterhalten. Das Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet wahr wohlsortiert und umfangreich und von guter Qualität. Die Information beim einchecken war lückenhaft. Es wurde weder der WiFi-Code mit ausgehändigt, noch der Handtuch-Voucher. Auch ein Blatt mit Informationen wurde erst am Folgetag auf Nachfrage ausgehändigt. Diese Kritik ist nicht wirklich relevant. Die Kritikpunkte könnten aber durch einfaches setzen von Standards beim Empfang eliminiert werden. Mein Badezimmer war zum Staff- und Versorgungsbereich zugewandt, was zur Folge hatte, dass eine gewisse Lärmbelästigung erfolgte.

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. They made us feel comfortable and truly cared about making our stay special. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The entire hotel area was beautiful and relaxing, creating the perfect atmosphere for a vacation. The food was also excellent, with a great variety and very good quality. What really stood out was the outstanding service and the warm hospitality of the whole team. Every detail was taken care of, and you could really feel the effort the staff put into making guests happy. We had an amazing and unforgettable time here and would definitely love to come back again. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect and relaxing stay.

Mye mat, grei mat og raushet- man kunne være så lenge man ønsket med de måltidene man ønsket utreisedagen. Lekerom for barn med nærliggende barnebasseng.Kort vei til strand. Store rom. Vi har vært med vår familie på samme resort for 1,5 år siden, nå opplevde vi stedet mer ryddigere enn da. Flott indisk restaurant Namaste med god mat. Litt harde senger, Sjenerelt er deserter (kaker) av kunstig og ikke freshy smak, som også på denne resorten, men vakkert utseende. Altfor mye sukker i juicer, man må blande med vann for å kunne drikke de. Svak (sannsynlig instant) kaffe. Kunne vært fint med brygget kaffe.

- Sharon (9/5): Extremely good value for money, the all inclusive option is really good. - The Resort offers three (3) swimming pools, as well as a private swimming pool that can be used by Guests that have booked in the swim-up rooms or top floor units in this Block- it is an amazing add to the resort. The food served at the restaurant was diverse, interesting and extremely tasty- I love the new menu that was introduced and the Swahili evening was a highlight! The jetty bar is a cool and tranquil place to unwind after a day of activities with the cool sea breeze and calm atmosphere. The Staff and Management go out of their way to make your experience as pleasant as possible and they all have such a positive and professional approach- a big shout-out to Johan, Gawie, Benedict and Emmanuel who assisted with transport arrangements, advice on interesting tours to undertake to explore the island and tips on local hideaways to explore. When the tide is out/ low, the ocean area is not very inviting, but you do have the option to use the lovely pools at the resort during this time.
- Lucian (6/5): Ok, però c'è da migliorare tanto - Il cibo era molto buono, staff cucina molto carino e accogliente. I ragazzi dell'animazione molto molto bravi, ci sono state attività da fare ogni giorno che siamo stati lì. La mia stanza dalla prima notte che siamo arrivati aveva un odore di chiuso e di umidità incredibile, ho cercato di farla arieggiare però niente, tutto quel odore mi si è impregnato nei vestiti addirittura. La spiaggia era poco curata, sarà perché le maree alte e basse in quel periodo portavano tutte le alghe a riva, ma il bagno sono riuscito a fare il bagno nel resort solo una volta. All'arrivo ci è stata chiesto una tassa di soggiorno di 12,50 per ogni giorno della nostra permanenza, cosa che su Booking non c'era, più la tassa di 5 euro giornalieri governativa. I drink al bar per l'All inclusive sono limitati, c'è solo una decina di drink tra cui puoi scegliere. Ogni volta che mettevo il cartellino apposito sul letto per far capire allo staff di pulizie che le mie lenzuola dovevano essere cambiate, loro non cambiavano quasi mai le lenzuola. Ho addirittura trovato un grosso grillo nella mia stanza nonostante loro venivano a spruzzare lo spray ogni giorno in stanza. Insomma, pulizia in stanza lasciava tanto desiderare. A quanto ho capito il proprietario è italiano, quindi non ci si deve aspettare proprio un servizio di alta qualità.I ragazzi che lavorano in resort per l'agenzia che organizza viaggi e attività da fare, a volte erano molto fastidiosi perché chiedevano in continuazione se volevi prenotare con loro, io consiglio di andare a trovare qualcuno fuori resort, spesso li trovate in spiaggia, hanno prezzi molto più bassi. Nonostante tutto, Zanzibar è meravigliosa con tante cose da vedere e attività da fare, quindi vale la pena visitare.

The staff is (mostly) really nice. We had an amazing time. The only complaint is the food at the resort. Mostly at the foodspot where breakfast is also served. They could invest more in the quality of the food. For the best food experience, visit Namaste! We had the best experience at Namaste (The Indian restaurant). This was all because of Mussa. He was so nice and helpful and also paid attention really well to the allergies of my company and even let the chef make a butter chicken without nuts the next time we came. Really made the experience all the better!

If you want to have a nice time during dinne, go to Namaste (the Indian restaurant) and let Mussa serve you! He is really kind and really good. In my opinion the other restaurants are not really good. So for the best food you need to go to Namaste. Don’t go to the main big restaurant. The food there is not really tastfull. The Thai restaurant is okayish.
