• Louise (10/5): Fantastic 10/10 . Portugal, we love you 🇵🇹❤️ - Where do I even start? I stayed at this hotel with my two daughters, aged 12 and 7, and I honestly cannot thank the staff enough. We had such a beautiful stay. The food was amazing, breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were so pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has slides, a water park, pools, and everything you could want for a family holiday. I came alone with my daughters and felt so safe here. The security, reception staff and overall atmosphere made us feel completely looked after. The location is fantastic, and I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back very soon. 10/10 from us! Nothing

• Kelly (9/5): Absolutely beautiful. - I've been back twice because I adore this place. The facilities are superb and the provision for children is excellent. Tasty fresh food. This year the cleaning staff for the rooms seemed to be a problem compared to two years ago. The last time we visited the room was made up like new when we went. out for the day. This time we had to chase down towels, request a bed change after a week and also give a cleaner a 5 euro tip to convince her to vacuum the floors as they were covered in crumbs. • Suzanne (9/5): New find and it was a gem - This was a great place to stay. Check In Staff very nice. House keeping come 5 days which was great but they knock and walk in. I was asleep twice when they walked in on me a bit frightening. Loads of different pools including covered over warm pool and indoor heated pool. Really good that you can go from hotel to hotel. The staff arranging activities were great for encouraging the kids to join in. Don’t get a room near the road it is very noisy. The soccer matches should be split by age. It gets overly competitive. A bit more choice of food with veg. Everything seems to come with chips.

Upon the arrival you get the wrist bracelet, which enables you the access to all the Alfagar managed complex (which is really huge, with a lot of pools (also for the kids, playgrounds). A lot of entertainment program for the kids. The minimarket in the resort is not having a lot of offer and it's quite expensive, but there's a Spar supermarket cca 200m away with the regular offer and prices. Albufeira center is cca 4 km away. The mattresses need some refreshment. The kitchen equipment is really basic.

• Claire (9/5): Excellent for young families! - Perfect for young children. Safe and staff were very accommodating. There were ants in our apartment and on the balcony. I told the reception on the first day and they immediately sent cleaning staff in to remove them but they came back every time.

Durmieron con los abuelos en otro apartamento de Balaia pq era imposible que durmieran allí, de hecho no teniamos sofa para sentarnos.. Pq era la cama de ellos.. Pagué por 4 para dormir en camas.

• Lucia (7/5): Consigliato! - Struttura molto grande con tutte le comodità presenti (piscine con parco acquatico, parco giochi, mini club, bar, ristorante, market, ecc) Pulizia super, stanze grandi con terrazza e stendino x costumi/asciugamano🤩 Posizione al centro della regione di Algarve, ottima per spostarsi in ogni zona in giornata! Abbiamo avuto due notti con un certo disagio perché nella struttura era ospitato un gruppo nutrito di signore dell’est Europa che di notte, ubriache, si mettevano ad urlare in terrazza. La risposta della struttura non è stata così pronta e decisa! Solo dopo nostra insistenza, questi personaggi sono stati arginati alla terza notte!

• Eves (10/5): Great place, highly recommend - Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and well kept. Pools were all clean and well maintained. Food was good in the buffet and in the bar restaurant (the tavern) the mini market was very well stocked and reasonably priced. English was well spoken by all the staff, I will definitely return Nothing! I wish we'd stayed longer!

• Marie (9/5): Très bien - Appartement spacieux, étant au rdc on avait peur du bruit, après nous n'étions pas en haute saison, mais pas de problème, c'était même agréable d'avoir un accès direct a la piscine jardin avec notre enfant. Bien situé avec un accès plage rapide. Juste les rideaux qui n'était pas bien réglé et de la bonne longueur, donc beaucoup de lumière en pleine nuit. On s'adapte mais si ça pouvait être réglé ou pas de lumière extérieure la nuit.

• Francisco (9/5): - Las posibilidades del hotel, al poder usar las instalaciones (piscinas, bares...) de todo el complejo. Fuimos en abril y como hacía frío, nos vino muy bien la piscina cubierta (hay dos interiores y una exterior). Las zonas infantiles están bien, pero se pueden aprovechar mejor con más calor. Ambiente tranquilo, muchas familias con niños pequeños. El acceso a la playa también era cómodo, andando eran unos 20 minutos, en coche 5 minutos y con aparcamiento gratuito. Fuimos a la playa de Santa Eulalia, pero hay muchas zonas cercanas. La habitación estaba reformada y era amplia, pero el baño se veía más antiguo. El buffet para el desayuno no era espectacular pero más que suficiente. En general, el hotel cumplió con nuestras expectativas, nos planteamos volver.

• Christophe (7/5): Bonnes vacances en famille - C’est grand et on a accès à tous le reseau alfagar qui se trouve au meme endroit et l’appartement est assez grand pour une famille de 4 personnes. La vue sur la piscine de l’hôtel et la mer depuis la grande terrasse vraiment sympa le matin au réveil. Il y’avait des fourmis dans l’appartement donc éviter de manger et faire tomber de la nourriture sinon énormément de fourmi vont apparaître et le lit n’est pas trop confortable.

Facilidade no estacionamento. Family friend hotel. Recomendo. Se deseja uma cama de casal, peça com a antecedência necessária para que o seu quarto seja devidamente preparado. Pessoal prontamente proporcionou o pedido.

J’ai voulu réservé du tennis avec ma fille car elle n’avait jamais fait le problème c’est qu’à l’accueil un Monsieur m’a demandé 15€ ce qu’il m’a mal expliqué c’est que ce n’était pas une caution comme le ping pong résultat j’ai payé 15€ pour 30min sur un terrain en béton et avec des balles pleines d’eau honnêtement je trouve cela abusé. Et dommage que les piscines ne sont pas chauffé car très froide pour mon bébé de 6mois.
• Wayne (10/5): Great stay in a great location - Great collection of hotels with access to all swimming pools, playgrounds and restaurants and bars. Good location to Albufeira and Olhos de Agua, and a short bus ride/taxi to Vilamoura. All staff were lovely and friendly, despite how hectic it was on evenings during the mini disco. Only downside is the outdoor pools aren’t heated but you weirdly get used to the temperatures. They have 2 indoor and 1 covered pools that were warmer.

• Srikumar (9/5): - The room, bathroom, very clean and spacious. Plenty of opportunities for kids. Would have been nice to have a double bed instead of a twin bed, as we were a family of three with an infant. The pool was not heated.

• Linda (7/5): - Spacious apartment with comfortable beds/sofa bed. Great to have a kitchen and be able cook and make coffee/tea. Great balcony. Convenient with free parking right next to the complex. Also appreciated the near by supermarket that had just about everything, including freshly made bread in the mornings. Bad smell (smoke) in the bathroom but the staff tried their best to fix it. We also had bad luck with a broken coffeemaker and boiler. This was taken care of but the wait was a little frustrating. Freezing cold water in the outdoor pools was a disappointment. A little hard to find nearby restaurants and shops and even getting out of the premises to find a passage to the beach. The kids were also complaining about the wifi not working as expected - maybe since we shared the hotel with a very large group of youngsters away on some sort of camp.... it echoed quite a lot as they were having fun away from home.
