• Grace (10/5): A home away from home for the whole family - We traveled with the whole family and the 3 bedroom villa was ideal. The cleanliness was 10/10, the housekeeping team was so thorough and they even helped with our laundry. Having the staff cook breakfast for us in the villa every morning made our start to the day so much easier with kids. The location is great because it’s tucked down a quiet lane, but close enough to walk to the shops and beach. The staff were so kind to our children and truly made us feel like family. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Bali with kids! Nothing

• Kate Fellows (7/5): Potential to be amazing with a bit of work - The pool was amazing and beds super comfy. Hosts were also very helpful. The location was great and the 24/7 security made us feel safe when getting taxis back late at night. Overall, the villa was run down and the kitchen and bathrooms were dirty. There were a few bigger issues: -the rooms were not completely sealed. Gaps around the door frames welcomed mosquitos and spiders in and I'm still treating my children for these today. -The shower in the main had a tree over it so it wasn't pleasant showering at night with the natives -We were not given a key. We weren't allowed to lock our own villa when we went out and we had to lock it from the inside when we were there otherwise the staff just came in and out over the course of the day. I woke up one morning and walked out of my room to find two men collecting the bbq. There was no knocking or notification. No privacy :( -There was a tree getting cut down next to us for two of the three days and the workmen overlooking our entire villa pool area. If they seal up the rooms and provide more privacy with lockable gates, and maybe a deep clean (!), it would e a great place to stay. We actually left one night early :(

• Robert (10/5): - Amazing facility, very luxurious, great private pool. Amazing staff, all extraordinarily helpful and full of good recommendations. The place is just outside central Seminyak. There is good food provided to the villa and also a nice coffee shop with food and pastries just at the end of the road. The main streets with the shops and bars etc are a 5-10min walk away, as is the beach. Our party of 5 found the bluebird taxis a great way to get in and out rather than braving the super-busy alleyways on foot. Costs for the taxis were only 33K when prebooked on the app and for that you can get to most of the area’s main spots. Our faves … Mexicolas, La Lucciola, the stretch of beach by the Ocean Beach Club and Chez Gado for the the sunset - avoid the sushie at Chez Gado!

• Laheij (10/5): Uitzonderlijk gastvrije villa met heerlijk ontbijt, fijn zwembad en een luxe gevoel. - Wat Kembali Villa’s echt bijzonder maakt, is de uitzonderlijke service. Vanaf het eerste moment voel je je enorm welkom en in de watten gelegd. Het ontbijt was het beste van onze hele reis op Bali, met verse sap, dagelijks vers fruit en een heerlijk gebakken ei of pannenkoeken voor de kinderen. De housekeeping was grondig en verzorgd; elke avond werd de villa klaargemaakt voor de nacht met wierook tegen muggen, aangestoken lantaarns rond het zwembad, gesloten gordijnen en zelfs een opengeslagen bed. Een luxe gevoel! Het zwembad zelf was heerlijk, en de kinderen hebben er volop van genoten. De beveiliging bij de ingang was vriendelijk en gaf een veilig gevoel; bij terugkomst stonden ze altijd klaar om de poort te openen met een glimlach. Al met al een plek waar je echt verwend wordt en waar luxe en gastvrijheid hand in hand gaan. Er werd dagelijks gebeld om thee te brengen en te vragen of alles naar wens was. Lief bedoeld, maar soms net wat storend als je ontspannen bij het zwembad lag. Ook elke dag wel veel personeel in de villa voor tuinonderhoud, schoonmaak en zwembadverzorging. Dat gebeurde discreet, maar gaf soms iets minder privacy. Met de poort dicht was dat overigens eenvoudig op te lossen.

• Jasmine (10/5): Clean, comfortable staff were beautiful, we will be back - This is by far my favourite villa so far and I’ve stayed in 3 other villas around the area, it was so spacious. We stayed in the 3 bedroom private pool villa and the rooms were massive, bead where comfortable enough, mozzie coils were replaced every day to burn in the outdoor living and bathrooms. Water didn’t smell, pool was clean, kitchen was massive and the fridge got your beers to almost ice ! If you have been to Bali you know most fridges barely keep your beers cold. There was an enclosed living area with aircon as well as a massive open living area off the pool and kitchen, we got massages and nails done in the villa and the staff were just beautiful. So relaxing, 2 min walk to a circle k which was so useful. We will be back 100%, breakfast was great and was cooked in the villa each morning for us (they make a different flavour smoothie every morning also as a little surprise 😍) can’t fault this place I can’t fine anything to fault our stay was perfect and we wish we booked the whole time in Bali there now

• Alexey (7/5): Responsive and smiling staff is a big plus - very friendly and caring staff, always smiling and asking how you are doing, is everything okay. There were a lot of insects in the villa and they immediately organized disinfection after which there were fewer mosquitoes. At the first request, they provided the necessary utensils for cooking. They also came twice a day to light mosquito coils. Every evening they also lit candles, it was beautiful. The common area has no air conditioning, only fans because it is very hot outdoors during the day. In one of the rooms, the air conditioning worked very poorly, and the boards near the pool are dangerous in some places and need to be replaced. We were very surprised that the capsules for the coffee machine are paid! In 10 years of traveling, I see this for the first time that there are paid coffee capsules, we paid $ 13 for 4 capsules! At the same time, the coffee machine itself is very dirty inside, and the coffee is not of high quality. (There is a cafe nearby, Locals Coffee, where they will make you fresh coffee for much less). I was very surprised that such basic amenities as tea bags or free coffee are not here. In this, they showed their pettiness and an attempt to make money on such trifles, only because of this I am lowering the rating.

My daughter received beautiful flowers from staff at Kembali Villas for her birthday. Location was close to the Local coffee shop (amazing coffee and food) and only 10 min walk to Seminyak square. Would be nice to have tv in main sitting room.

The villa itself is quiet and superbly protected by their wonderful around the clock security guards. All service staff were lovely. • Brendan (9/5): Great place for families or groups - The generous sized pool was used constantly by the kids as was the outside living space. King beds were so comfy. The staff were super-friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent breakfasts. There is really great coffee at a cafe, The Local, only 2 minutes walk away - it opened at 6:30 am! And also a Circle K shop selling snacks and drinks right near the cafe. Easy walk to Seminyak square or grab one of the ever present Gojek bikes passing by the Local cafe. The bedside lamps in all bedrooms were too weak for reading. Clip on reading lights were provided, but their light was not enough and they didn't stay clipped on. We are 5/5:30 early risers and breakfast wasn't ready until 8am, so we got hungry.

Great beds, great air conditioners, great bedding linen. Great breakfast with fruits and different options. One of the best villas we've been on Bali. Close to the beach and city centre. Everything was good except for - except for 2 cockroaches. We met them in our villa next to the pool. Good thing they were not inside. Bad thing they were there. I'm freaking scared of cockroaches, so that left a certain mark on my mind. (we killed both of them and one of them was not cleaned for 2 days). But they also did some spraying against mosquitoes (not sure if it also applies to cockroaches). Once again, it was great, that's the only negative point.

We enjoyed our 4 nights stay in this villa and really felt so welcomed by the staffs. They’re all so friendly, so helpful and so sweet! Breakfast is prepared for us every morning and we want to thank Isnu for cooking such delicious breakfast for us every morning and making our stay so comfortable! The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the outdoor shower is pretty interesting too. The villa provided us with mosquitos repellent sprays and coil hence we didn’t really get any mozzie bites. Yay! Security is 24/7 and we felt really safe throughout. The location of the villa is also perfect. Very near to top attractions/cafes and it’s super easy to get a bluebird there. Thank you to the staff for preparing a sweet surprise cake for my birthday too! You guys are super super sweet! Thank you very much and i hope to come back here again!! • Stephanie (10/5): The Best Hands Down - This place is immaculate. Their service is superb. Communication was very attentive. I recommend this place. They have everything you could hope and dream of or they can get it for you. We asked for an iron but they ironed our clothes for us. Breakfast was cooked for us every morning for a fee but it was fresh and delicious.

• Johanna (10/5): - This was an incredible 3 bedroom villa, which had so much space for our family, we absolutely loved it. It's down a few small side streets, so it's a 6 minute walk to the beach and about 10 minutes to shops and restaurants. The staff are wonderfully kind and offered us a late check out for free when our son was feeling unwell on the last day. The daily breakfasts were delicious. Private pool was fabulous, we used it a couple of times each day to cool off and do a few laps. Highly recommended for a family with kids, because it's hidden away from the crazy nightlife.

Kembali has been a delightful experience, the villa was very clean and it was worth what I paid for. The staff members are exceptionally friendly, and the villas themselves are truly splendid. The open living room is cozy with a good sound system, and the Wi-Fi connection works flawlessly. Thank you so much for providing us with a memorable stay! Located just 80 meters away, there is a convenient mini-market that adds to the convenience of the location. The breakfast provided was exceptional, and we highly recommend spending a few days or even a week in this villa. We are looking forward to returning soon! -

The villa was well-maintained and clean, with a spacious pool for relaxation. Its proximity to the beach, just a 7-minute walk away, was convenient. The attentive staff ensured the villa was cleaned every morning, maintaining its pristine condition. The open living area allowed for a peaceful atmosphere and absolute privacy. Essential amenities like WiFi and TV were available for entertainment, complementing the comfortable bed for a restful stay. The friendly staff went above and beyond, providing assistance with tasks such as grocery shopping, restaurant reservations, motorbike rentals, tours, and in-villa massages. • Rory (10/5): - My family of 4 stayed at Kembali Villas for 12 days to celebrate my 50th birthday. It's a brilliant villa for size (we stayed in a 3 bedroom). The private pool is huge for a villa, and breakfast made daily in your villas full kitchen was a treat. The team are lovely and very accommodating. Highly recommended. The decking around the pool needs a bit of maintenance (I got a splinter), but other than that, a great location, a short walk to stuff, and the best local coffee shop almost outside you front door.

Would love to stay at Kembali Villas if we ever return to Seminyak. - Pre-arrival: Mr Ngurah was my point of contact from Kembali Villas after the booking was made. He was very prompt in his responses, knowledgeable and accommodative of some of the requests/changes we had prior to our arrival. - Check-in: The process was very smooth. We arrived, and were greeted by the security team on site and ushered to the reception area. There, I met Mr Ngurah, who welcomed us and showed us to our villa once it was ready (we arrived earlier than the check-in time, so we left our luggages in the check-in area and returned after lunch). - Location: It was about an 8 minute walk to the cafes and nightclubs. - Breakfast: Not a buffet, but a la carte. Each villa had a dedicated breakfast chef. We were spoilt for choice! We pre-selected what we wanted for breakfast (e.g. Indonesian cuisine, continental, Western etc) the day before. Fruits and toast were part of every breakfast set. - Pools, Rooms and Bathrooms: Each room had its own private, semi-outdoors bathroom. No complaints about water pressure and temperature. Basic amenities (shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush set etc), hair dryer and clean towels were provided. Bed was comfortable, rooms were clean, and most importantly, it was very peaceful at night and no loud clubbing/roadside noises that we heard. My friends and I loved splashing around in the pool. - Safety: The villa had security personnel on site 24/7 and we felt very safe. Mosquitoes but unfortunately that's a Bali-wide issue
