- Daniel (10/5): Eine tolle Unterkunft auf Koh tao - Die Lage war außergewöhnlich. Der ruhige Strandabschnitt hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und groß. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Essen war auch gut. Wir hatten eine whitesand Villa und waren daher nahe am Strand und mussten wenig Stufen laufen. Die Poolanlage könnte etwas Wartung vertragen. Wir lagen aber die meiste Zeit am Strand.

It was unbearable from start to finish. We had a very disappointing stay. Our room had an extremely noisy air conditioner and a clogged shower drain, which caused us to have a sleepless night. After complaining, we were moved to another room, but it had mold and disgusting dirt in the shower, and even the bed sheets were stained. Despite all these issues, the staff’s attitude was unpleasant instead of helpful or compensating us for the experience. The rooms also have no proper blackout curtains, so a lot of light comes in early in the morning, which seriously affected our stay. Very poor service overall.

Neben unserem Hotel fand ein Festival statt, an dem so laut Musik gespielt wurde, dass wir bis morgens um 3 Uhr nicht schlafen konnten. Als wir mit dem Hotel darüber sprachen, dass das für uns als Familie mit Kind nicht geht, boten sie uns ein Hotelzimmer an, das noch näher am Festival ist. Wir haben uns entschieden, früher abzureisen und hätten es sehr geschätzt, wenn uns das Hotel in einer Form finanziell entgegengekommen wäre, doch das war nicht der Fall. Das Personal am Strand und im Restaurant war das unfreundlichste, das ich in 30 Jahren Thailand angetroffen habe.

The cabana itself was extremely private with an amazing amount of space both inside and outside, creating the perfect relaxing island experience. It truly felt peaceful, secluded, and luxurious all at the same time. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay and assisted us with anything we needed. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The beach areas were absolutely stunning and perfectly showcased the natural beauty of Koh Tao. The views, atmosphere, and overall setting made this one of the most memorable places we stayed during our trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Koh Tao Cabana to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway in Koh Tao. One area that we felt could be significantly improved was the check-in experience. Unlike the rest of the stay, which felt welcoming and personal, the check-in process felt impersonal and uncomfortable. Rather than being checked in individually, we were grouped together with two other couples during the process. Discussing stay details and payment information in front of strangers did not feel private or appropriate for the level and atmosphere of the property. At a resort like this, the arrival and check-in experience should feel personal, relaxed, and one-on-one to match the beauty and quality of the accommodations and staff throughout the rest of the stay.

- Martin (6/5): Could do better! - The location is wonderful! We absolutely loved it, it was quiet, secluded and not too far away from the main beach. The guys carrying bags were super nice and welcoming. The cabana was dirty and not cleaned properly for the price we paid. The walls had splashes of god knows what! The cleaners have very odd hours of coming in to clean the room. During one point we had left the sign outside for cleaning but no one had come to clean the room when we returned from outside. I called the reception and was told they were on a lunch break (I mean really for 3 hours?). We wanted to nap in the afternoon so they ended up coming in and I wasn't fully dressed. My wife had to ask if they can give us half an hour. They said ok but started cleaning the outside balcony! Not good at all!

- fabrice (4/5): Bel établissement ou malheureusement il est très difficile de dormir ! - Personnel du restaurant très cordial - Beaucoup de choix sur le petit déjeuner _ Bungalow très grand et confortable Le responsable de l'accueil était très peu serviable. Nous avions demandé une chambre au calme et nous étions face à la plage ou 3 bars mettent tous les soirs de la musique vraiment très forte qui nous a empêché de dormir. Nous sommes une nuit plus tôt et nous nous sommes plaints de notre séjour. Ce responsable n'a montré aucun intérêt. Un mot d excuse ou un test commercial aurait été bienvenu. La piscine n'était pas très propre à notre arrivée et ferme à 18:00. De la musique de l hôtel derrière les transats ne permettent pas non plus de se reposer.
- Lehmann (4/5): Es gibt bessere Hotels in der gleichen Preisklasse - Der Strandabschnitt. Der Aufenthalt in diesem Resort war leider insgesamt enttäuschend – vor allem, weil die Anlage eigentlich viel Potenzial hätte. Unser Bungalow wirkte düster, alt und leicht modrig, was den Komfort deutlich beeinträchtigt hat. Besonders problematisch war die Klimaanlage: Sie war direkt über dem Bett angebracht und ließ sich kaum regulieren. Entweder lief sie eiskalt oder man musste sie komplett ausschalten – was wiederum das Schlafen nahezu unmöglich machte. Auch der Außenbereich war wenig durchdacht. Vor dem Bungalow gab es lediglich eine Hängematte, jedoch keine Sitzgelegenheit für zwei Personen. Die Treppen zum Bungalow waren zudem ungünstig angelegt und wirkten nicht wirklich sicher oder komfortabel. Das Essen war – gemessen an thailändischen Standards – eher mittelmäßig. Vor allem das Frühstück fiel deutlich ab und konnte nicht überzeugen. Der Pool ist zwar angenehm groß, wirkte jedoch optisch nicht wirklich einladend. Das Wasser hatte einen leicht grünlichen Schimmer, sodass man sich nicht ganz sicher war, wie sauber es tatsächlich ist. Zudem gibt es rund um den Pool nur wenige Schattenplätze, und ein Gastroservice direkt am Pool fehlt komplett – was den Aufenthalt dort zusätzlich unattraktiv macht. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Lage am Strand: Am Ende des Seri Beach gelegen, hatte man zwar noch etwas Lärm, dieser verstummte jedoch meist gegen 2 Uhr nachts. Mit Ohrstöpseln war es dann einigermaßen erträglich. Das Personal hinterließ einen gemischten Eindruck. Es waren auffallend viele Mitarbeiter präsent, die jedoch oft eher herumstanden, als aktiv zu helfen. Die Freundlichkeit wirkte teilweise aufgesetzt, und besonders das Management sowie der Service an der Rezeption waren enttäuschend. Der Empfangsbereich selbst machte ebenfalls keinen guten Eindruck – eher wie eine improvisierte Abstellhalle als ein einladender Hotelbereich. Vermutlich war es früher einmal ein Shop, was man noch deutlich erkennen konnte.

- Helmut (10/5): - Das Koh Tao Cabana ist eine toll gepflegte Hotelanlage am Ende des Sairee Beach. Die Bungalows sind in den tropischen Garten eingebettet, so dass sogar die Granitfelsen in die Räume intrgriert sind...ganz außergewöhnlich! Das gesamte Personal ist zuvorkommend freundlich, Scooter mieten wurde von der Reception vermittelt. Das open air Restaurant bietet einen deb Atem beraubenden Blick über die gesamte Bucht. Über den Strand sind die Lokale, Bard und alle anderen Einrichtungen in 5 Gehminuten locker erreichbar, Abends Taschenlampe mitnehmen, liegt im Bungalow vor. Wegen der steilen Hanglage sind die Bungalows nur über zig Treppenstufen erreichbar, man muss also gut zu Fuß sein...Alles in Allem ein tolles Resort nichts

Harde muziek van strandtenten verderop is tot diep in de nacht te horen. Daar kan de accommodatie niks aan doen, maar vond het echt een minpunt. Heb elke nacht met noise canceling headphones geslapen.

- Antonio (5/5): Disappointing and expensive for what you get. - Location, room sizes and tranquility. Disappointing customer service. During our stay, we had a couple of issues which were not resolved appropriately. First, we were put in touch with their trusted scooter rental company. The guy rented us a bike that was faulty. When we noticed, we raised it with reception staff. They called but since it was after 7:30pm, nobody took responsibility. Given that the rental is a service they offer, they should have taken responsibility and resolved the situation. They didn’t. Secondly, on our departure, we were charged 500B due to a missing laundry bag. We did not take it but there was no room for us to get away without paying it. They pressurise us to pay since they were holding the taxi, with some other clients waiting whilst I tried to explain. It didn’t feel right to have everyone else waiting so I ended up paying. One more time, the hotel did not take responsibility or tried to understand the situation. Finally. During our stay, there were 2 things that affected our comfort. There was a wedding organised within hotel grounds, taking up the beach space and staff attention. There was also some noise and people walking around. That day our room didn’t get done and we had to chase it. We had to wait outside the room, wasting time whilst they came to do it. Then, the pool schedule is very limited. It closes at 6, right when the sun sets. Which for us is a great time to enjoy a peaceful swim without the heat. Overall, they have nice facilities and a lot of staff, but I was highly disappointed by how little and efficiency we got every time we had some queries as well as the treatment we got. For a 5 stars hotel, it was below standard. It was an expensive stay compared to the comfort and the attentiveness we expected to enjoy.

- jeff (9/5): - We were scrambling to find accommodations for one night after checking out early from another place that fell short. We weren't hopeful, expecting this place to be overpriced with not much in return. We were extremely surprised. The location was absolutely perfect for being a few minutes beach walk from the craziness on Sairee beach but just far enough that we couldn't hear the dance clubs. The grounds were stunning. Very lush with tons of tropical flowers and butterflies. The cabana had traditional charm with modern amenities, not another generic hotel room. And the restaurant - which a lot of reviews said had subpar food - had the best buffet breakfast I've seen in this part of Thailand. Plus a courtesy shuttle to the ferry. It wasn't cheap! But for what it offered, it wasn't excessively overpriced. I wish we could have stayed there our entire time on Koh Tao.

- Luca (7/5): Bene, ma potrebbe essere decisamente meglio - Le ville immerse nella vegetazione, la posizione sulla spiaggia, la gentilezza dello staff Il Wifi funziona a singhiozzo e non in tutte le zone della struttura, l’acqua calda nella doccia non sempre presente, la poca trasparenza sulle carte di credito accettate. Sul loro sito è indicato che accettano l’american express, carta utilizzata a garanzia della prenotazione, ma poi una volta arrivati alla reception prima dicono che non l’accettano, poi insistendo la accettano, ma applicano una maggiorazione senza informare nessuno.

- FURST (6/5): Emplacement top, mais établissement qui mériterait un audit complet. - superbe plage et très bon emplacement L'accès à notre chambre, située en hauteur était très dangereux. Absolument déconseillé pour des personnes ayant des difficultés à se déplacer. Béton, cailloux, grosse pierres, etc .... La propreté du restaurant laisse à désirer, moisissures sur les rideaux à l'arrière du restaurant, flagrant en revenant des toilettes, nourriture très moyenne, et pour les amateurs de vin, le rouge est absolument à éviter...

- Petra (9/5): Heerlijk eiland. - De ligging, het personeel, het huisje was fantastisch. De douche werd snel koud, maar dat is ook het enige.

- Madeleine (7/5): - Die Cabanas haben uns insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Die Anlage ist sehr groß, wunderschön grün und hat einen tollen privaten Strandabschnitt. Der Ausblick vom Restaurant ist grandios. Der Rezeptionsbereich und das Restaurant sind ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Die Möbel sind alt und teilweise abgewohnt. Da sollte aus unserer Sicht investiert werden, da die Anlage viel Potenzial hat. Ebenfalls riechen die frisch! gewaschenen Handtücher bereits vor der Benutzung sehr unangenehm - die werde ich definitiv nicht vermissen.

- Cate (10/5): Paradise! - This place is actually paradise! The grounds are just stunning, so well cared for. Gorgeous rooms (we stayed in a cottage with sea view and it was beautiful) absolutely stunning pool area, always plenty of towels, sunbeds in shade and sun, butterflies everywhere. The beach area was lovely, sunbeds right on the beach and lovely restaurant (more expensive that most in the area) Breakfast was included and the selection was huge. The staff are super friendly and cannot do more to help you. They came to pick us up from our first hotel and then dropped us off at the pier - carried our bags for us and showed us to the ticket office. I would 100% come back here, just an incredible resort, everywhere is just so well cared for and beautiful.

- פרלשטיין (1/5): - We had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. In the middle of the night, we discovered a mouse in our room, which was both shocking and unacceptable. We immediately tried calling the reception, but there was no answer. We then went physically to the front desk, only to find that no one was there to assist us. There was simply no one available to help deal with the situation, leaving us alone to handle it during the night. As a result, we did not sleep at all. In the morning, we reported the issue to the reception staff. While they did apologize, they made it clear that they had no way to compensate us or improve our experience, other than offering to send someone to catch the mouse. This level of service and hygiene is far below expectations. We were extremely disappointed and would not recommend staying here.

Immaculately clean and excellent customer service - The property was immaculately clean, the staff were all friendly and there was a very high level of customer service. The room was spacious and well maintained. The location is the best on the island. At the end of the main beach with a beautiful view across the bay. Absolutely stunning and would high recommend to anyone coming to Koh Tao. There was nothing that we didn’t like

- Lydia (10/5): Absolutely perfect stay in a gorgeous resort - Everything! The location, the room, the staff, the restaurant, the cleanliness. Everything was perfect and by far the nicest place we saw whilst in Koh Tao! we were so sad to leave and will definitely be back. It was my partners birthday during our stay and they went above and beyond decorating the room and treating us with such kindness. Nothing
- Hadar (6/5): נחמד - מיקום טוב , קרוב למרכז אבל שקט. הצוות מקסים שרותי מאוד ,אדיב ותמיד עם חיוך. המון יתושים בכל מקום! הייתי במלון לפני יותר מ10 שנים ודבר לא השתנה. האחזקה של המלון לוקה בחסר הדבר גורם לתחושה של ישן. החדר אוכל /מסעדה ישנים מאוד ארוחת בוקר בסיסית והגשה (שולחן הבופה ) לא מזמינה.
- Shai (9/5): - Great resort with quite beach and great atmosphere and view. Close to most things The restaurant could be improved a lot The bathroom is open to the outside so mosquitoes are a little bit of a problem there and throughout the resort. There is a consistent noise from the parties nearby until 3am everynight.
