- Hosea (8/5): You can’t beat the price for the location. - The location is absolutely amazing. Just footsteps away from the beach , so close to local restaurants ,and shopping. The room was pretty spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. Office staff was very nice and friendly and the resort also provides chairs and towels to use while you’re there. You could tell the room wasn’t cleaned very well. It seemed like it was a rush job . There was hair on the walls of the shower and randomly found eyelashes sticking to different parts of the wall in the bathroom. The bed frame was also very dirty Unfortunately, my first impression wasn’t the best ! The upgrade option for parking is a little steep but for the area it’s needed .

- Yang (4/5): It was nice to be next to the beach, but probably won't stay there again. - It was great to be right next to the beach as well as close proximity to restaurants and stores. It made going out and just walking the sea side very easy. There were also some parakeets that lived right outside on a palm tree. The room we stayed in was not quite clean when we checked in. There were hair on the shower wall and toilet. Also, looked like they just got done painting the tiles in the shower. It was coming off when it got wet. The walls are super thin so you can hear almost everyone that stayed there when they were talking.

It was within walking distance of a multitude of restaurants, bars, convenience stores, dessert places, and public transportation. We could walk to La Jolla or Belmot Park in less than an hour. We were steps from the beach. The Ocean Walk in front of the hotel is the perfect place to see the sunset and to people watch. The staff is great. There are beach chairs and towels to borrow. There is a small fridge in the room. The room is tiny. We were constantly walking over each other. There was only one nightstand and lamp. One side of the bed didn't have a place to put anything or a light. The safe did not work. The small bathroom did not have a place to put our things (toothbrush, brush, curling iron, etc.). We were only give one set of towels. There was only one chair and the bed was the only other place to sit. The wifi was spotty. It dropped three times during our 1 1/2 day stay.

- Theresa (10/5): Fantastic - I loved hearing the waves crashing from my room. We were a block from a really good restaurant bar. Parking was a challenge. You have to watch where you park. The no parking street sweeping signs are different on either sides of the street.

Pacific Beach is a little too busy for us but the inn offered a quiet atmosphere. Definitely worth paying for the parking spot in front of the inn. The room was a nice size. Two things we would like would be to have access to ice and fluffier pillows.

- Veada (2/5): ROACHES, GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! - The location was great. We went from 3 days at the Mission Valley Marriott to one day at the Pacific View on the beach. I just wanted another day for my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, we were met with roaches. We were tired and ready to relax but couldn't. LeiLani said that the only person that could give me a refund is Roxanne. She would call me on Monday be she didn't. I called her today and she said that she could not help me. She wouldn't even guide me to someone who could It could have been better with no roaches. She told me that she could give me another room, not only was the room a lot smaller but no ocean view as well. I would not stay in a place that has roaches to take back to my family and comfort. Roxanne response was that the guy came out and inspected and didn't find any roaches. I guess I just disrupted mine and my husband's peace of mind and time for the fun of it.

The hallways smelled like cat litter and cigarettes for our whole stay. We also payed for late checkout at 2pm, normal checkout was at 11, we were taking a nap and had a cleaning lady buzz her card into our room with no warning while we were still there. We went out for food and came back around 12 and our key card no longer worked due to them not updating the cards so we had to handle that with the front desk.

We couldn’t see the ocean FROM the room, which i expected to see. It wasn’t a fair way to describe the ocean view from the room. There was no ocean view. Be honest about that.

The staff were proactive in communicating about checkin and checkout times. The beds were comfy. The WiFi is terrible. We couldn't even visit a single website. There is no option to use streaming services on TV. So we are forced to watch cable TV with lots of commercials (5 minutes commercials for every 9 minutes of content) A tile on the floor was oozing some liquid or mud. It rained earlier in the day but our impression was stepping on that wet floor. Thankfully, we were moved to another room. The rooms were not cleaned very well. We had left over food in the refrigerator from before. The inn provides aromatic shampoo, lotion and body wash. However, we had an empty of lotion bottle. Despite asking multiple times, we didn't get a new one.

A HUGE thanks to Jose. Our sray has been beyond perfect, and we are so sad to leave to head to Carlsbad. From the fire pit last night to the board games to the incredible location, and again the most perfect staff in the world and perfectly renovated + the coffee maker. Everything you can imagine needing, like a perfect be, this hotel delivers. Don’t even think about anywhere else.

- alkay898 (8/5): No frills, but very clean room with great view. - This is more like a motel than a hotel, but I thought it was a very nice, no frills place in a great location. It sits at the end of a street that dead ends at the ocean bluffs. I paid extra for one of the two rooms that have unobstructed ocean views on the second floor and I thought it was worth it. I could sit in bed and watch the surfers. The room was spotlessly clean when I checked in. The bedroom floor is vinyl and the bathroom is all tiled. I travel a lot for work and generally stay in upscale hotels, but let’s face it, hotel carpets are gross. I appreciated the approach taken here—just the basics: clean, tidy accommodations. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back.

- SusanB2527 (8/5): Great location, nice hotel with a few pros and cons - The location on Pacific Beach and Mission Blvd. is great! You can walk along the boardwalk while enjoying the ocean view. Public transportation to Old Town, then connecting to Seaport Village, Balboa Park (zoo) and downtown is really easy and inexpensive. LOTS of nearby restaurants, CVS and grocery store, all within a few minutes walking distance. Hotel is 2 stories, and there's no elevator. Our first room on the 2nd floor had an amazing ocean view, but was very compact. We kept banging our shins on one of the platform beds when trying to maneuver to the bathroom. Bathroom was very tiny and, overall, the space was congested. We switched to a 1st floor room that was MUCH bigger, but did not have any ocean view. The rooms have a mini fridge but no microwave, though there is one in the lobby. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom. There's no complimentary bottled water and no ice available. We had a little trouble with the room temp., but maintenance cleaned our filter the next day and that seemed to fix the problem. The staff is eager to please, though "housekeeping" only changes your towels and empties the trash, even on multi-day stays. The lobby has lots of amenities, including beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, beach toys, board games, and items for purchase (i.e. bottled water, Tylenol). The rooms are very clean, have large screen tvs and in-room safes. Overall, pleased with our stay and recommend for beach/sightseeing stay.
- Jessica (9/5): Awesome place, planning to go back again. Hearts and greats vibes - Location and front desk was very nice and accommodating. The shower was narrow and a bit tight. I think it would be better utilizing a bigger shower head maybe.
- ruesheec (10/5): Beautiful hotel and location! - We loved our stay and the customer service was amazing. The location is perfect within walking distance of so many bars and restaurants and of course the ocean is right out the door.

- Michael (6/5): - Shower was too small, shower dispensers were hung in wrong place, they were very hard to use, towels are very thin, no Ice Machine, Room was super small( didn’t look like picture!! Great location!! We were their for only 2 nights any longer it would have been rough!
- STEPHANIE (10/5): - The rooms were a little different than it was pictured online, but the location was perfect. You definitely have to try Oscars the taco shop just right down the street parking was a bit of a headache, but I got lucky and got a spot outside my room. It was nice that they have chairs and towels in the office to take down to the beach over. I’d stay here again. I enjoyed my weekend

- Steven (2/5): DO NOT BOOK HERE - The floors were dirty to the point it got on your feet. THERE IS NO PARKING except for like 3 spots. The bathroom doors do not close all the way and had a 1-2 inch gap.
- ronald (4/5): - The room was extremely small could barely walk around the beds. I would never say in room 207 again. Large amounts of sand on the floor and in the bedding, I know it's by a beach but it could have been cleaner. We have stayed there off and on over the years and this was absolutely our worst experience. Could have done much better for $50 more elsewhere.

- Johnson (10/5): Great hospitality. - Louis was awesome. So friendly, and he made sure we were taken care of. The first night, the light on the balcony was shining through the little curtains like a spotlight. The manager put up a curtain and it was amazing. No more spot lights. The towels were small. The shower curtain was to close that it kept hanging and touching you when showering.
- ana (2/5): - Arriviamo alle 16.50 e ci dicono che non è possibile fare il check-in perché la stanza nostra era occupata. Poi dopo circa un ora di attesa ci dicono che non va bene la nostra carta di credito che era stata accetta senza problemi nelle altre strutture che abbiamo prenotato in due settimane di vacanza. Ci hanno fatto fare la pratica per dieci volte per farci pagare per due notti e ci stavamo fare pagare per dieci volte, ma poi abbiamo reclamato e ci hanno fatto rimborsare. La signorina alla reception era molto scortese e mal fidente, penso che sia stata anche mal intenzionata, gli altri clienti nella reception ci hanno aiutato e compreso. La location è molto bella davanti all’oceano ma il servizio alla reception è molto da rivedere e reimpostare. Grazie
