Guest Reviews
- Gustaf (10/5): - Near to the airport. Easy transportation. Clean room.
- FriscaS (10/5): - Coco is located at main road. Easy to find the hotel
Friendly staff. Breakfast is good , worth for stay.
- Sohail (8/5): - Good over all compired with 2 star hotel, reasnobl services and aminities with the cost of hotel. Thanks
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I chose Coco De Heaven on Jan 17 & 18, There is CCTV & Parking available inside the fence. On 18 Jan after 10 am, I came back to hotel after breakfast, I left my phone on my moped's pocket for less than 30 seconds. I came back to pick it up in less than a minute. My cell phone was stolen. I requested front desk for CCTV coverage and I was told CCTV is not working. I went through my room and requested room service, I never received room service. Staff regularly relocate the bikes and mopeds to make more parking space. There was no public present in the parking lot when I came. Ninja 250 belonging to staff who was going home was parked beside my moped. Person who took my cell phone removed the SIM Card & as result I could not locate. Police mentioned since there was no CCTV working, which is rare for a good hotel, It would be hard to locate the phone. I requested to talk to manager, but supervisor states he is on vacation. There was no responsibility and no search conducted. I offered a large reward to staff if they can provide my cell phone. I believe the individual who has my cell phone knew who I was and works within the premise. As a traveller, I would reccommend to be careful at Coco de heaven for your belongings. Especially when staff knows there is no CCTV and accountability. I was very disappointed by lack of customer service. I did check out of worst nightmare. Management does not want to follow up. I have been contacting for more than a week :(

- Romeo Jr (6/5): Satisfied a little bit - I stayed there for 3 nights. When I arrived, it was quicked check-in, the guy at the reception was nice and accommodating. The housekeeping are not friendly and approachable. But the lady who took the guy at the reception was very nice. She taught me to download GoJek apps so that I can book car, and when the driver sent me messages in their language, the lady help me to reply. The location was far from everything like the malls, food chains, etc. They have free breakfast but only 1 menu everyday and they don't have free coffee and milk at the room, they only provide sugar and tea and they don't have free shampoo and soap inside the bathroom. They have nice swimming pool. The only thing I don't like much was the guests are smoking at the lobby and the smoke gives me cough.
- John (2/5): - Animal poo on floor. Animals i n room.
A/c did not work
No hot water
- Verified traveler (4/5): Cheap Hotel close to airport - You get what you pay for...although staff were helpful. We were only here a few hours waiting for flight home.
Budget room, no soap, no toilet paper, stained towels, poor AC, no window, tiny room, no cable TV (indonesian only), noisy street and no restaurants nearby.
The pool was nice and clean and is close to the airport.
- jagjeet (2/5): Not happy at all with the hotel - It totally different then what I expected from rating and reviews about it. Did not provide a vegetarian option for breakfast had to buy outside all the time. Service was disappointing. Room was terrible specially bathroom. Shower head was broken, shower curtain was disgusting.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Shower broken and cold
Room tiny
Staff disorganised
- Samuel (2/5): Terrible - If I can say something is please remove this hotel from the site... we found fleets on the bed the shower is disgusting, we asking to change for another room and the hotel transfer us for the room available and this room was used and not cleaned after this.
Terrible experience!!!
- Julie (2/5): AVOID - I don’t know wich kind of person gonn’a looking for a room like that but that was so dirty. Clearly disgusting and I’m choked to see people offer this kind of service. Please change it ! We were supposed to stay two nights, one was enough.
- Mohd Fathuddin (6/5): Just a 'meh' hotel - Nothing good or exactly bad. I think it might be off season, that I saw more employees rather than other hotel guests. Breakfast is just the standard IndoMee instant noodles fried with some vegetables and eggs. The hot water that they asked you to make your own coffee/tea was actually cold. Room was a bit stuffy, pillows doesn't match. Can't get wifi signal from room although I see the router was next to our door. Overall, not exactly a good hotel for couples going to Bali.
- Dawid (6/5): Basic Budget Hotel Near DPS International Airport - We chose this hotel for our first night because it was near the airport and we arrived in the middle of the night. The following day we moved to a nice hotel in Sanur. Since it is a budget hotel, don't expect much from it. One thing that we especially didn't like was a smelly and dirty washroom with NEITHER soap NOR toilet paper. These should be essential to keep some level of hygiene in a place with high rotation of people! There was a kettle in our room but next to the tap there was a sign that water is non-drinkable even after boiling. The positives were: very friendly staff, small but yet free breakfast, swimming pool, fast Internet access. This place isn't definitely a destination for a memorable vacation on Bali, but if you just plan to spend the first or last night there to catch a plane, it should be good enough.
- Richard (4/5): Male Sure You Get The Room Front Of Pools.... - i do the check in on 4 pm, but my room still not available, the towel is ready on 10 pm....really?? YES.....first i've got room were a little dirty and damp with a bad smell, when i'm going out for dinner i do the change room with the front desk.
- Verified traveler (4/5): poor service - checked in went to shower, no towels. went to ask about towels. have none now. I need to shower anyway so I go begin.. no hot water.. soap runs out.. I get annoyed, try to call, phone broken, really frustrated
- Michelle (8/5): Great Hotel, Super Staff!!! - We stayed at Cute Coco as a couple for 11 days, overal impression was great ambiance, clean room, but most of all, the staff is just wonderful! The surrounding is not impressive no but if you just need a nice and comfortable hotel to do your trips then this is just great. Thanks a bunch to all the staff at Coco for making our stay the best!! xxx
- akb (8/5): Nice budget hotel.Popular with locals n backpacker - Very small rooms with no window. Close to airport and Jimbaran beach at a 15 minute walk. A nice clean pool.
Breakfast is for namesake. They have a samll pantry. Good hotel if you dont want to spend much and live in a decent place away from hustle bustle of the city. Staff is friendly and they'll help you with cheap transport and your travel plans.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice budget hotel. Clean pool. Friendly staff - Overall happy.i enjoyed my stay. Not crowded and away from hustle bustle of Kuta. Location is 10/10.
- Abrie (8/5): Good for the price - The hotel is very close to the airport and Jimbaran beach, a great way to start your Bali experience. Staff is very friendly and hotel has a well maintained outdoor pool. There was some disrepair in the room, such as a faulty toilet seat but overall a good deal for what you pay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great for transit in Bali - We arrived late evening, left early morning. Parcel that we had arranged to be sent to this hotel from overseas was awaiting us on arrival as arranged. Friendly helpful staff. Issue with flushing toilet was fixed promptly. We have used this hotel as a transit stopover for other family members previously. It is very good value as a budget hotel. Magnificent nasi goreng breakfast, one of the best, and freshest I have had. Pool looked amazing, unfortunately due to our schedule, we didn't have time to use it.
- Hareen (6/5): 10min from the airport, great for 1 night - We just stayed 1 night, and the hotel was perfect for us.
They even have a small beautiful pool which we couldn't use.
The only negative point was the smell of humidity in the room/bed. That's why we wouldn't stay there more than 1-2 nights.
- feather (2/5): air con doesn't work, bath room title cut my feet - Got to coco de heaven first night hot. No internet in room, air con doesn't work. Showers has cracked titles cut my feet while showering, they moved me to another room that had rat. Yes rat. They catch it and killed it.
I email orbit customers service department but no return email. Terrible nightmare. I want my money back.
- Margarida (2/5): Horrible experience - Horrible! Booked a double bed with pool view and a fridge in room only to find out on arrival "we don't have that, you can have either pool view or fridge in room". Moved to a room with no windows. Staff were far from helpful. The room had fungus all over the bathroom walls and there was a humid smell in the room. To top up things, there was no internet cover,no food available ,unless you request from the local take away place, and so close to the main road in was extremely noisy and smelly at times.
- Rahmawati (10/5): Cute Coco in between Jimbaran to Ngurah Rai - Our stay in Coco very nice even room was small but very relaxing and clean with minimalism style of furniture designed it very sweet, completed with coffee tea maker, clean bathroom and toilet, friendly professional staffs, good breakfast with 3 variants menu and worth for prices per nite, very happy stay there and will recommended to friends espc. who only need to transit
- Verified traveler (4/5): Airport stat - Suitable for a quick overnight stay near the airport.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good place for a stop over - As my partner and I were arriving in Bali at 1am, we wanted a hotel we could get to quickly to just stay the night and move on the next morning. Coco de Heaven is only a 5 min drive from the airport and so was perfect. It was very clean (especially the pool) and the staff extremely friendly. The air con in the room was adequate enough and you also get a fridge, which was perfect for keeping our water cool. We had such a pleasant first night that we booked a second as well.
- Idris (4/5): Rude stuff - The stuff were very rude and inconsiderate. Plus their WIFI isn't working at all.
- Mohammed Adam (8/5): Very good - It's a really nice place to stay, good location, friendly staff and a nice swimming pool.
- Bel & John (10/5): * Excellent value for money * - Staff helpful and always smiling. Fixed breakfast each day - either fried rice with small omelette or omelette sandwich with a chicken sausage, help yourself to tea/coffee/orange and watermelon. Free ginger tea/ Balinese coffee from 7pm each evening, Free drinking water tank in reception where they will refill your water bottles, lovely clean pool but only 3 sun loungers. You really need transport to get anywhere but taxis are cheap enough - Jimbaran Beach =AUD2 Kuta AUD5. Rooms cleaned daily and if anything not replaced ie Water or toilet roll just ask at reception. Excellent wifi throughout including our room. Full size fridge & kettle in room. A few tips - the hot water on the shower is obtained by turning the knob to cold & the bathroom sink tap is turned on by twisting rather than lifting, the TV has a USB port on top so bringing a hard drive with you is a big bonus as none of the TV channels are in English. There is a small 24hr shop a few doors down on the left that sells all the basics, a small "home" cafe is just beyond the shop that sells basic local meals for AUD2 and a little further down this road there is another reasonably priced cafe and a burger king. The road outside the hotel is manic but Hotel can organise scooter/car/car with driver. Please note the airport taxis class this Hotel as being in Jimbaran not Tuban cost to Hotel AUD10. We were there a week and never had ANY bugs in our room. All in all a cracking budget accommodation option. Highly recommend !
- Suzi (6/5): Good for acknfortable sleep - Room was clean but tiny. Breakfast not included. Out door area wAs nice, but small. On main road, nothing nice close by. Ok if you want somewhere comfortable to sleep & then jump straight in a cab & head elsewhere for the day. Staff very friendly but no Engligh speaking staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): lovely staff, cheap - hotel was very cheap, clean, cool, it had a nice pool and very nice, helpful staff. it was located close to the airport but the road in front of the hotel is a bit scary but manageable. walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Shower is sometimes temperamental when others are using their showers.
- Dmitry (8/5): Good for a stay on arrival/before departure - ...on a budget, either if you have a motorbike, use taxis, or do not intend to go anywhere far, like we did. Just minutes from the airport, on the main road, but the rooms are not facing it and, despite being just 20 m away, we didn't hear road noise in the room (outside it's acceptable for most people too). The swimming pool is small, and there were always some guests using it - but, anyway, not so many places in the area and this price range will have a pool at all. The room is small too, and there's no table (there's simply no space for it), however outside there are several tables which I used to work when was bored of using laptop on the bed. The ceiling in the bathroom had some mold from excess humidity - I think exhaust fan could solve that problem. Except the nearby Alfamart and half-empty Benoa Square mall (containing Burger King and Domino Pizza) 5 min. walk down the road, there's nothing around - even for the local eateries you'll have to cross Jl. Bypass on the traffic light near Benoa Square. TransSarbagita bus stop (which occasionally detours to the airport, you'll see the sign or ask the conductor) is also there, and the bus is cheap and comfortable, but you may have to wait. Anyway, if in hurry, taxis are extremely easy to catch, thanks to the location on the main road.
- Nicolaus (10/5): Beyond my expectation - I didn't expect much from this hotel, but turn out it's beyond my expectation. The room, sheet, bed, towel is really clean. The pool seems nice (but i didn't try it). The location is great, i got the room in the backside so the noise from the road is not a problem.
- evan (4/5): poor. - moved 3 times to different rooms ,,nothing working ,either water/.ac / refridge.
- Karun (8/5): Nice Hotel with very friendly staff - Affordable yet pleasing experience with a very good staff.
- praba (8/5): Nice room and good staffs - Nice stay and convineant. Staff are frenly n helpful.
- Ganapthy (8/5): Nice hotel ! - Good for the money ! Clean !
Nice staffs ! Breakfast is not upto mark ! Wifi signal was weak.
- Brendan (6/5): Ok if you just want a cheap bed near the airport. - The room was clean enough for me, and the bed linen looked fine. I didn't use the pool but it looked ok. WiFi works just in the reception / pool area, but not in my room. I guess the major issue for many would be the location, being on a very busy road where you have to pass the airport to get to Kuta, so it's not very convenient if you want to enjoy the nightlife for a week. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The manager even said he will try to improve the WiFi :)
- ky (6/5): Friendly Staff - The staff there are friendly and nice.. The room is tidy and clean but the shampoo is limited provided.. The towel is changeable in everyday.. However, I have met a inconvenience environment due to having a maintenance service in early morning .. I force to wake up early morning due to the annoying sound from maintenance.. I unable to online due to no wireless access in my room and I need to use net at lobby..
- Chris (6/5): Good stop over after flight. - Location good distance from airport so nice comfortable stay after long flight. Nice layout, friendly staff, clean room, and pool. My window looked out onto a brick wall however so this will be my only gripe.
- Rachel (10/5): Top notch - This little hotel looks lovely as you pull up outside and the pool looks beautiful on an evening, all is very clean. Location wise, it's near the airport and close to kuta beach too (by car).
The staff are ridiculously helpful - they even managed to get a birthday cake for us overnight; couldn't thank them enough.
The rooms were quite spacious with kettle and a full fridge! Quite modern and clean, although the water smelt a little bit in the bathroom.
I would have no problems staying at this hotel longer than one night but we were getting a ferry off the island the next morning.
- Thomaek (10/5): enjoyable stay - very clean and tidy hotel, for the low prices absolutely recomendable
- Ed (8/5): Good place for short stays, approachable staff - Location may not seem good at first but it is actually very close to Jimbaran beach, great place for a sunset dinner by the beach. Kuta is 15 mins away while Tanjung Benoa, a good place for water sports, is about 40 mins away (without traffic). It doesn't have much in terms of size and facilities but is good enough considering that it's a guest house. Friendly, approachable staff. Overall a great stay.
- carol (6/5): hotel close to airport - basic hotel, low budget accommodation. Hotel is close to airport, with a convenience store close by. No dining or restaurant in hotel. Basic room, reasonably clean, however was not told on arrival that to have room cleaned your room key needs to be handed in to reception in morning. Makes me wonder what would happen if room key was lost? Staff friendly and eager to please. Breakfast - just. Would recommend for low budget travellers who just want a bed for night and are out during days sightseeing, shopping etc.
My personal gripe is that the mattresses are like rocks, no soft comfort here.
- Maya (8/5): Close to airport - Great for staying close to airport. You will need to catch a taxi to get anywhere.
- Lisa (6/5): Because It's Close to the Airport - It was a simple hotel, really near the airport so it's good if you have a really early morning or late night flight. It was clean but old. Nearest food place would be Benoa Square, 15min walking required.
- Vishnu (6/5): Rooms good but very small - Rooms are good but very small. No option to place extra bed. Centrally located. Bread and omelet is the only Breakfast option. Swimming pool is nice. They arrange taxi at any time if you request. Staff behavior is good.
- TravelinAlan (8/5): Stayed there after night arrival at DPS airport. - Good for the 1 night only. Not a good location for anything more than that.
- Salman (6/5): short stay - The hotel is good for budget traveler. don't expect 5 star service. the staff level of English is average and you may not get many facilities readily. it is little far from the beach but quiet neighborhood area.
