Moins cher que de prendre la demi-pension ou pension complète. Petit déjeuner pas mal. Chambre bien, avec terrasse, mini-bar, literie OK, ventilateur de plafond en plus de la cliimatisation, top pour les personnes qui ne supportent pas bien la climatisation. Propreté top, merci à Zilani, room attendant, qui était aux petits soins. Bien organisé, Magic nous a donné son numéro et nous avons pû poser des questions réserver des activités etc . Merci á lui également. La mer est top, beaux corails et une grande variété de poissons tropicaux a petite distance de la rive et accesible fácilmente en marchant ou nageant. On a pu faire du snorkeling à gogo sans dépenser un sou mise à part l'achat du masque tuba. Conseil d'avoir des chaussures de plage car il y a pas mal de corail et pierres au bord de la mer. Il y a aussi un ilot avec sable fin et blanc à quelques dizaines de mètres de la rive. Lorsque la marée est basse il y à à peine 10cm de profondeur. Beaucoup d'endroits ou acheter des fruits et autres aliments. Nous petit déjeunions bien et à midi on mangeait souvent des fruits plutôt que des plats chauds. L'hôtel met à disposition des transats gratuits sur la bikini beach, il en a aussi du côté de l'hôtel Arena aves parasols, il en a assez si arrivé avant 8 heures, après il y a toujours des transats gratuits mais conditionnés à la consommation de boissons et/ou nourriture. Comme beaucoup d'autres îles locales on peut circuler pieds nus, sable.partout, il n'y a pas de goudron. Beaucoup de travaux aux alentours, les chantiers ne s'arrêtent pas la.nuit, compliqué de trouver le sommeil si on a des difficultés à s'endormir.

• Pioneer157056 (10/5): Kaani Beach hotel - experience - In February 2026, we stayed as a couple for three weeks at Kaani Beach Hotel on the island of Maafushi, Maldives. 💦 Kaani Beach Hotel is a smaller building and part of the Kaani hotel chain on the island, which also includes Kaani Grand Sea View and Kaani Palm Beach. All three hotels are located about 30 meters apart. Our reception was in Kaani Grand Sea View Hotel. The staff was very friendly.👍 The transfer from Malé airport to the island of Maafushi took 45 minutes, and we booked it through the hotel. The transfer worked fine. Our stay at the hotel was excellent – the room with a balcony had a view of the sea and the street, quiet and peaceful. The room was cleaned every day and towels were changed. Coffee and tea were available in the room. Beach towels were new and nice. The cleaning staff was helpful and kind. Breakfast was served at Kaani Grand Sea View and was okay. Special praise for the service, kindness, and professionalism of the staff who served breakfast at the Kaani Grand Sea View restaurant. Special thanks to Jusika, Anhali, Moomin, Sabbir, Rowel, and chef Thai. You made our stay pleasant. You are wonderful!👍 We also recommend the massage at Kaani Palm Beach Hotel. Thank you, Linda, for the excellent massage.👍 The hotel’s internet was quite unstable, and it was necessary to reconnect depending on which hotel you were in. The island of Maafushi is inhabited by locals and is truly beautiful, with lots of greenery, restaurants, and boutiques. We recommend the restaurant Marisco, where excellent and varied dishes are served at affordable prices, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only drawback of the island is that the two beaches – “bikini beach” (beaches where swimming in swimsuits is allowed) – are only about 150 meters long and crowded with sunbeds and guests. Sometimes it was almost impossible to reach the water and swim because of the sunbeds placed side by side. Kaani Hotel had free plastic sunbeds, which were uncomfortable to lie on. The option was to use more comfortable sunbeds owned by two or three private cafés. However, if you wanted to use those sunbeds, you had to buy a drink. Usually, for two drinks – fresh juice or iced coffee – we paid about 10–14 USD every day. Attention when you paying drinks at the beach because they sometimes try to charge much more, and prices are displayed only in dollars. The safest way is to pay by card. The beaches have very little shade under the palm trees, and the sea was often dirty. The island authorities should consider opening more “bikini beach” areas, as many new hotels are under construction and the number of tourists is expected to increase. However, excursions organized by Kaani hotels to sandbanks and nearby islands offered the postcard‑perfect Maldives experience. Finally by, we were very satisfied and warmly recommend Kaani hotels and Maafushi for a pleasant, affordable Maldives holiday.🌞👍

I do think the hotel could do with investing in more umbrellas as there was a real shortage especially compared with adjoining hotels who had double the amount for the same amount of beds, it does get very hot.

It might have been a wonderful place before - when the pictures was taken, but now it's totally ruined by all the construction around and in front - as you can see from the pictures I uploaded too The staffed was rude and arrogant from a start, and just laughed at us, when we pointed out, that is was a scam selling a place by pictures that wasn't showing an up to date situation. But in the end, after we said we would contact the tourist police and also complain tk booking.com the finally moved us to one of their other hotels, where everything was fine.

The photos are completely misleading and do not reflect reality at all. We were placed on the first floor with absolutely no view—no sea, just buildings and constant construction noise all around. The room and balcony were dirty and clearly low quality. There is no proper reception in the building; you have to go to another hotel for any assistance, which is extremely inconvenient. On top of that, birds, especially crows, were constantly coming onto our balcony, making the stay even more unpleasant. Overall, this place is poorly managed, noisy, dirty, and dishonest in its presentation. I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Totul! Nu este adevărat nimic din ceea ce vedeti in imagini! Din cauza celor care au scris recenzii de la celelalte hoteluri are acest scor bun. Kaani au 3 sau 4 hoteluri, acesta este Kaani Beach care este cel mai dezastru! Imagini sunt foarte vechi, in fața hotelului este plin de restaurante, cladiri, constructii si copaci. Galagie in fiecare seara, nu am putut sa dormim. Dupa ce se inchidea restaurantul din fata ramaneau oameni de la ei si stateau de vorba pana târziu in noapte. Am plecat mai obositi decat am venit. Camera este veche, prin usile de la balcon se aude tot. La fel si usa de la intrare, era cu goluri pe langa. Nu ai un dulap unde sa iti pui hainele doar sa le agati pe umerase. Usile de la dulap abia puteau sa fie deschise. Nu ai receptie la hotel, daca ai nevoie de ceva trebuia sa vorbim cu domnul Tiger sau sa mergi la celalalt hotel Kaani Grand. Am scris despre problema care o aveam dar a mai durat inca o noapte pana ne-a mutat in hotelul Grand. Din pacate nu ne-a ajutat prea mult. La micul de jun este mai mult dulce decat mâncare rece. Sper sa vedeti realitatea nu ceea ce scriu ceilalti de celelalte hoteluri.

Δεν μου αρεσε η συμπεριφορα του προσωπικου στη ρεσεψιον...φτασαμε στις 10.00 το πρωι και περιμεναμε μεχρι τις 14.00 να μπουμε στο δωματιο μετα απο 15 ωρες πτησεις τη βγαλαμε τοση ωρα αναμονη στους καναπεδες ενω θα μπορουσαμε να μπουμε λιγο νωριτερα στο δωματιο αν ειναι δυνατον χρειαζοντουσαν δυο ωρες για καθαρισμα για 10τμ δωματιο και δεν μας προσεφεραν τιποτα...περιμεναμε εστω να μπουμε λιγο νωριτερα μετα απο τοση ταλαιπωρια και ενω μας βλεπανε! Επισης το πρωινο τιποτα το ιδιαιτερο για τοσα χρηματα περιμεναμε μια μικρη ποικιλια ειχε πολυ λιγα πραγματα και καφε μονο γαλλικο μια μηχανη καφε θα μπορουσε να ειχε λιγα παραπανω φρουτα, αλμυρα επισης ειχε πολυ λιγα για τετοιας κατηγοριας ξενοδοχειο!

Teleurstellend - Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het ontbijt is goed (al missen we vers fruit), de kamer was schoon met een prima bed, goede airco en fijne douche. Toch wegen deze pluspunten niet op tegen de misleiding en de hoge prijs. Misleidende foto's en geen goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. We betaalden $150 per nacht, maar dit hotel is dat bedrag absoluut niet waard. De foto's op Booking zijn sterk verouderd en geven een compleet ander beeld dan de werkelijkheid. Dit is erg misleidend en zorgt voor teleurstelling bij aankomst. Het hotel is gedateerd, de strandbedden zijn versleten en ons uitzicht was op bouwafval. Er wordt overal rondom het hotel gebouwd, wat veel geluidsoverlast veroorzaakt vanaf ‘s ochtends vroeg. Kaani Beach voelt eerder als een bijgebouw dan een volwaardig verblijf. De ‘bikini beach’ is klein en overvol, ook dit wijkt sterk af van wat op de foto's wordt getoond. Absoluut een hele teleurstellende ervaring.

The view from the room was of construction debris — there’s ongoing building work all around the hotel, which causes noise disturbance. Kaani Beach feels more like an annex than a main hotel. The beach is overcrowded (the so-called ‘bikini beach’ is very small). The photos here and for example booking.com are absolutely misleading and do not match reality — they must be several years old. (At least 10-15 years i think) Positive points: the staff is very helpful, the breakfast is excellent (although we missed fresh fruit; the pineapple came from a can). The room was clean, the bed comfortable, with good air conditioning and a pleasant shower. However, the room also didn’t match the photos from our booking. The price-quality ratio is way of— we paid $150 per night, which is definitely not worth it given the conditions. The misleading photos set completely different expectations and that was truly disappointing.

Nós ficamos do Kaani beach, e o mas simples, mas tudo perfeito e limpo. Eles são super simpáticos, sempre o sorriso no rosto a perguntar se estava tudo bem! Nós comemoramos anos de casamento e fomos atendidos pelo Shawal. Perfeito, atendimento e a comida deliciosa, a sopa de camarão, divina. Ele nos tirou fotos, foi o diferencial da nossa noite se tornar perfeita. ( gratidão Shawal). No quarto o Masud Miah, perfeito tudo limpo e cheiroso, super atencioso sempre pronto para nos ajudar. Gente eu apaixonei por esta ilha Maafushi. Depois de Malé ela é uma das ilha que tem mais habitante. Perfeita pra vc ficar tem vida e muitos restaurantes, loja…etc. Nós andamos toda a ilha a pé e super fofa e tem tudo que precisa. Os passeios são lindos, e tem também como você passar um dia em algum resort que sao belíssimo, nós fizemos 2 resort e 1 passeio, pois pegamos chuvas 3 dias. Fomos praticamente nos restaurantes dos hotéis, pois todos em frente à praia, a comida deliciosa. Super recomendo. Voltarei 🙏 No café da manhã poderia ter fiambre. O resto perfeito , até ovo frito e a simpatia era perfeita.

How can you make that compulsory for everyone without stating that during the booking stage. Thereby frustrating folks at checkin point. Air condition was dripping water and got all the table with my laptop bag soaked. It was absolutely horrible. Breakfast was terrible as well.

• Carl (8/5): To the excellent staff members at Kaani hotels. - The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Special mention to Magic and Tiger for ensuring everything was smooth and seamless with check in and check out and every other concern. Also special mention to Nash at the front desk and Sofi and the other ladies in the Spa. The servers also did an exceptionally wonderful job of being attentive and willing to assist in the dining area. There are three hotels under the Kaani group on the island. Kaani Beach was poorly located having a construction close by so there was no really good view, as compared with Kaani grand and the other Kaani hotel. There was no elevator though admittedly it was only three floors it was still a little inconvenient. The dining area was a little far from Kaani beach but it was good exercise after the meal to roam around.

Que habia pagado por una habitacion deluxe con balcon y me dieron una simple y cuando lo dije... me dijeron que todas las balcon estaban ocupadas!, perdón? Si he pagado por una de ellas y me dijeron que era problema de booking no de ellos... luego el ventanal no tenia riel y podia caerse si la tocaba un peligro total... luego pedi que por favor me hicieran 2 picnics porque tenia la actividad de los tiburones y les dije que era alergica al queso y van y me dan 2 bocacillos de queso, sin bebidas y bufff no quiero explayarme... mala mala experiencia. Nunca más!.

• 327christinec (10/5): Best views, snorkeling trips, super clean, awesome service - Our group of six 'mature' friends in our sixties, spent four days at the Kaani Grand, overlooking Bikini Beach. We really appreciated the attentive service in the restaurants there and at Kaani Seaview. Special thanks to Jusika, Rowel, Sabbir, Momio and Chef Nasaru L who made the best omelettes. The room cleaning was done spotlessly each day. We enjoyed relaxing on our balcony overlooking the best beach on the island. We went on two snorkeling trips and both were excellent. The guides on the boats were particularly thoughtful towards the non swimmers and the nervous snorkellers, by holding their hands in the water and making sure they saw the turtles, sharks and sting rays too. They also went to a lot of effort to film everyone as they swam with the sharks etc. We were delighted by the short videos they provided. My only advice to the management at Kaani hotels would be to provide a little more variety in the buffets each day, but that's a small thing. Overall, the food was delicious and very well presented. Thanks to everyone at Kaani Grand on Maafushi island 🏝️

There are three different Kaani Hotels which are basically right next to one another - Kaani Palm Beach, Kaani Beach and Kaani Grand Seaview. We booked Kaani Beach but did not realise that it was no longer on the beachfront as the photos on booking.com were taken several years ago before restaurants were placed out front . Azmin the front office manager understood and made sure we had an excellent stay!

• Lilian (5/5): - El desayuno está bien, es variado y te hacen huevos al momento. La habitación estaba limpia aunque con bastantes desperfectos. En general la estancia fue aceptable. El día anterior a irnos, reservamos el fast ferry directo al aeropuerto por 25€ por persona en el mismo hotel. El día que nos marchabamos, al llegar al ferry, nos metieron en un ferry de icom tours que ara en Male antes de ir al aeropuerto y este vale 15€. Les escribimos para reclamar la diferencia pero nunca contestaron.
