• José (10/5): Sublime - De todas as vezes que foi às Seychelles esta foi das melhores estadias que tive. A começar pela Solana e restante equipa que me recebeu com toda simpatia e profissionalismo. Casa muito bem equipada e localização sublime com vista para a praia Ance Royale. Excelente A/C , cama e atoalhados super confortáveis, duche com boa pressão de água, cozinha muito bem equipada para cozinhar, varanda bastante espaçosa, propicia para relaxar e fazer as refeições a apreciar o oceano Índico. Há também vários estabelecimentos comerciais a escassos minutos, restaurante, minimercados, banca de fruta , loja de roupa tradicional etc... Aconselho vivamente. Relação preço qualidade justa. Dica para quem quer visitar as Seychelles, alugar carro para poder conhecer e descobrir lugares , parias paradisíacas. I💗 Seychelles. A próxima visita está agendada para Outubro 🥰 Só não gosto do pouco tempo que vou 😅

• Áron Gergely (10/5): Wonderful accommodation in Anse Royale with very kind hosts - Amazing location, beautiful view from the balcony, the nearest beach is the most beautiful beach in Mahe, and only a 3 minute walk away. In the vicinity, there are grocery stores, two beaches, restaurants and takeaways. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped, clean and modern. The hosts are amazing people. Very helpful, always smiling. I am really thankful for them having us at their house for 10 days.

I think this service should be offered complementary.

Довольно резкий подъем и спуск в гору , сам путь к пляжу лежит вдоль оживленной дороги, пройти всего пару минут ,но довольно некомфортно. На балконе довольно неудобные и бесполезные кровати -шезлонги Ползают какие-то микро муравьи,еду оставлять нельзя вне холодильника. Будьте внимательны и убирайте личные вещи: уборка раз в три дня , но тем не менее каждый день в ваше отсутствие к вам в номер все равно зачем -то заходят. Ещё раз подчеркну, что это всё мелочи и Солана и вилла заслуживают 10 баллов.

Chiedere dei asciugamani per la spiaggia perché non ve li danno se non li chiedete. Secondo me dovrebbero essere già nella stanza quando il cliente arriva. Noi abbiamo chiesto dopo due giorni se li avevano a disposizione, ma se non chiedevamo non ce li avrebbero dati

В 5-10 мин. ходьбы помимо лучших пляжей (во время нашего проживания в январе 2026г.), находятся кафе, магазины и take away.

• Hana (10/5): Perfect Stay with Breathtaking Ocean Views - We stayed at Au Fond de Mer for five nights in December 2025, and everything from arrival to departure was absolutely perfect. Our host, Solana, made the check-in smooth and effortless. The apartment itself was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with a huge terrace offering one of the best ocean views we have ever experienced. The area is quiet, safe, and residential, which made our stay very relaxing. Parking is easy, right in front of the building, inside a gated garden. Just a few steps downhill, you reach one of the most beautiful beaches in Seychelles, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Shops and restaurants are only a few minutes away on foot. A car is not necessary, but it’s definitely advisable if you want to explore more of the island. We can highly recommend staying here and would happily return.
• Gert (10/5): - The location was really excellent and close to the beach to snorkel. The shops were also within walking distance. There is a bus stop just down the road. Solana and the team at Au Fond De Mer were really attentive and exceptionally helpful, Solana even assisted us with organising an airport taxi and a rental car. Our room had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen, hairdryer, iron, umbrella, drying rack, etc. We didn't have a sea view, but we could go out to the deck where there were lounge chairs and a table, and watch the ocean from the property.

• Kateryna (10/5): Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended! - My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Au Fond De Mer, it was truly amazing and one of the best experiences we’ve had. The property is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The room has everything you need and even more. The kitchen is having all the needed utensils and everything you need in general. A special thanks to the owner, Solana, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Anything we needed was taken care of quickly and with genuine care, which made our experience even better. We were even granted an early check in at 10 am, which was very helpful after our early flight. The location is perfect, with two beautiful beaches just a short walk away, making it easy to relax and enjoy the island. Coming up to the accomodation there is a short steep hill which could be difficult for people with accessibility needs, however it was not a problem for us. There is aswell a car park provided in the accomodation and down near the beach. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. We can’t recommend it enough and would definitely love to return!

• Tkachenko (10/5): Восхитительно! - При заселении предоставили номер больше, чем тот, который бронировали Номер был на третьем этаже. Балкон очень большой и невероятно уютный. Есть опасение, что попав в данные апартаменты вам не захочется больше никуда ехать или идти, потому что вид, который открывается из всех номеров Au Fond du Mer просто невероятный. В самих апартаментах все очень красиво, ухожено, чисто. Есть все необходимое для проживания. Хозяйка Solana очень добрая, помогала с любым вопросом и всегда была на связи. Договорились, что в следующий раз когда приедем на Сейшелы, то обязательно остановимся здесь еще раз. В апартаментах большая парковка, поэтому всем гостям хватит места! Также, есть большая парковка у двух пляжей внизу апартаментов, чтобы спуститься утром и сразу же искупаться. (Если вы без машины, то подъем в гору может быть затруднителен, но мы были на машине, поэтому нас это никак не коснулось!) Из двух пляжей внизу, больше понравился Fairyland. Каждое утро там убирают и продают фрукты. Еще один плюс апартаментов, что они расположены рядом с городком, где множество магазинов, а также фруктовый рынок.

Même si les distances peuvent se faire a pied nous conseillons une voiture ne serait ce que pour visiter l'île en toute autonomie, bref nous recommandons à 200%👍👍

Amazing view of the sea from a huge terrace with a large dining table and a double bed. The accommodation itself was very spacious, clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. Free parking on the premises behind a locked gate. To get to the accommodation from the beach you have to climb quite a steep hill. Getting from the accommodation to the larger Anse Royal Beach you have to either take your car or pass through some 100m of very narrow road with fairly heavy traffic and no sidewalk which made it quite dangerous especially after it got dark.

• Nina (9/5): Lovely stay! - It is a beautiful place with a very friendly owner who even lent us an electricity adapter because we forgot our own. Everything was clean and both the beach directly across the street as well as the one a few meters in the direction of the village are great for swimming and snorkeling. The kitchen had all we needed, even some starter set of oil, salt, herbs, coffee, etc. was there. Our apt looked towards the sea and it was great sitting on the terrace in the evening listening to the waves. Also organizing a car through the accomodation was absolutely hassle-free. Same goes for airport pick-up. Can only recommend especially if you're looking for something a bit more individual than the big hotels. For the Seychelles the price is good, but generally speaking it is a little pricy for being a self-catering apartment (but again it'sthe Seychelles and at least the accomodation is locally owned). Also we were a little confused that while shower gel was provided, shampoo was not. (It was no big deal because we had brought our own, but we still wondered about that). Other than that everything was really great (and even these things mentioned here were super minor. I just couldn't think of anything else to write :D ).

Bathroom area is not separate from bedroom. Although knew this when booked and wasn’t a major problem for us.
• Greta (10/5): Great apartment with a great beach nearby - The whole stay was great. The host is pleasant, room was clean, AC is working, and the room has everything you need for cooking yourself. There is a really nice beach just down the hill (2 min walk). We had rented a car, so it's easy to get everywhere from the apartment, but it is on a hill, so if you are going around by bus, take into consideration that you will need to drag your luggage up and the hill is quite steep.

Ma la cosa che lo rende strepitoso è un grandissimo balcone con vista mozzafiato sul mare. La vista del mare si ammira anche dalle due camere da letto. Credo che dal vivo sia ancora più bello che in foto. La cucina dispone di tutti i comfort. Le docce sono grandi e con getto di acqua potente. L'host è molto accogliente. Insomma consigliatissimo L'arredamento non era di mio gusto ma la cosa non ha condizionato assolutamente vacanza

One thing to take into consideration, though, is that the road leading to the place is quite steep. It can be a bit tiring if you’re walking, especially if you got any knee issues. Still, it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive!

• Alex (10/5): Great self catering apartment on Mahe that has it all - This accommodation had everything, near to the beach (steep but very short walk), parking, super quiet, wonderful hosts but nothing beats the view from the balcony which was spectacular. We loved having our diners, bought from Leo’s Truck nearby, on the terrace, listen to the ocean and look at fruit bats and colorful birds. Solana and her team were super knowledgeable about the island, they organized a rental car for us that was delivered to the airport and we were able to return it at the jetty.
 We would return anytime!

The apartment is very spacious, impeccably clean, and offers an incredible Seaview that made every moment special. Both the balcony and bedroom provide stunning views of the pristine beach, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Solana, the owner, is truly a gem. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Not only did she provide fresh bananas for our breakfast, but she also helped us find a last-minute taxi to the airport, which was greatly appreciated. Her kindness and thoughtfulness really made the trip feel extra special. The location is fantastic as well. Fairyland Beach is just a 2-minute walk away, offering a beautiful and peaceful spot to unwind. If you walk for about 10 minutes, you’ll find a little town with everything you need: supermarkets, a bank, gas station, hospital, fruit market, and a variety of restaurants catering to different budgets. It’s the perfect mix of tranquility and convenience. If I’m lucky enough to visit the Seychelles again, I would absolutely stay at Solana’s apartment. • Szabolcs (10/5): If we return to Mahe, we will definitely stay here! - The apartment is located next to one of the most beautiful beaches, with a huge terrace and beautiful ocean views. There are shops, restaurants and a gas station within a 5-minute walk. Very nice, well equipped and clean. The host is very kind and helpful. She helped us to arrange the transfer, and the car rental (she arranged the rental car for the next day), as well as we were given a summary of the activities and attractions offered on the island, and she kindly answered all our questions. She even made sure to return the deposit in several banknotes, so we could pay for the taxi more easily ... Nothing. We would have liked to stay longer...
• Matthew (10/5): Couldn’t have ask for a better accomodation - This property was perfect! Fantastic location on a small hill looking over the bay! We stayed a few nights in the north and a few in the south and this location in the south suited us a lot better. The beach is a two minute walk (and one of the best beaches on the island!) and the town is maybe 5 mins walking. The staff at the accommodation were very friendly, providing lots of information and overall a great service! It was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our self-catering stay! It’s very clean, well equipped, all in good condition. Solana and sushma are very helpful, and care about their guests. Solana would check-in to see if everything was okay and as a solo traveller that made me feel safe and comfortable. I didn’t book a view room (when I go back I definitely will), but the space was practical and peaceful. There’s also an option to keep the room or to use the waiting room when your flight is later in the day. This is a great option and I would recommend it. They hotel stay was actually price friendly and the value for money was worth it… it actually felt more than home than a vacation cos the owners are super friendly, helpful and very kind. They organized all my trips and I have to say it was worth it. Also if you have a late check out they have a super dope lounge where you can relax and cool off or probably reset before your next flight and the views are to die for ❤️. Like I said the value for money for staying in this place is so worth it and you wil not regret a thing at all. Super close to the beach , walkable distance to the shops and supermarkets. Grocery markets and fish market is nearby, a minute or two away by car. Apartment is well equiped, nice and clean. The host is very kind, providing lots of useful information and tips. We really enjoyed staying here and honestly recommend it! Unskilled drivers may have issues with car parking due to not a very spatious car parking, especially with larger vehicles. For us this was not the case.

View from the Terrace is beautiful and the big outdoor lounge sofa is comfy and just invites you to relax! We got a warm welcome by Sushma and were shown everything. She also helped us with some issues we had with a different rental company (not the one they recommend!) Also Solana provided us with some sliced coconut and shared her wisdom regarding cutting and finding the right one :) On Top they also provide laundry service! Thus definitely a place to stay if on Mahé Island. Nothing really to complain about.

De eigenaresse doet er alles aan om je te helpen en het naar je zin te maken. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het uitzicht is om van weg te dromen. Werkelijk een prachtige plek met grote kamers!

• Thomas (6/5): Chambre d'hôte accueillante et foncionnelle - Séjour d'une nuit avant de reprendre l'avion du retour. La location est bien placée pour rayonner vers le sud de l'île. Les locaux sont confortables, et le personnel très agréable. Toutefois notre chambre donnait au rez de chaussée sur l'entrée des lieux, ce qui coupe enlève beaucoup d'intimité, et ne donne pas vraiment envie de rester sur la terrasse. C'est je crois le seul logement qui n'a pas la vue magnifique sur la mer, mais nous n'avons pas payé très cher (pour les Seychelles).
• Clive (10/5): Lovely view from the top - We travelled as a family of three and had the top apartment with the best view out over the sea where it is safe to snorkel. It was very spacious and well appointed with two double-bed bedrooms with firm mattresses and a safe. Bedroom 1 has an ensuite Bedroom 2 has a shower room next door which is also accessible from the lounge There is a huge balcony with a table and six chairs where you can eat your breakfast watching the fishermen in their boats search the sea bed every morning. Fruit bats fly close by close enough to touch and even enjoy the banana tree in the garden. It is on a steep hill about 150 meters up a 1 in 4 hill so a car or some level of fitness is required. There are 3 pin 240V electric sockets (UK style) and plenty of them to charge your devices and there is also Wi-Fi in each apartment (free). It is about a 10 minute walk into town where there are shops and restaurants but no pavement some of the way so you will be close to the traffic on a busy(ish) road. There is also no lighting so a torch is essential if walking in at night. Solana can organise car rental for you at a good rate which I would recommend even though there is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill.
