- Stephen (8/5): One night in a seaside location before heading home. - Well located in the centre of Portrush. Comfortable rooms for the style of hotel with reasonable facilities. No lift.
- John (7/5): Suited us as a place to stop on way to Londonderry - Good place to stay for an overnight en route to west of Ireland. Comfortable room. Breakfast was very ordinary and the restaurant was very functional rather than appealing
- Farhad (10/5): -
- Andrea (8/5): Clean and friendly staff breakfast was great not having a lift let the property down - Location No lifts top floor had 4 flights of stairs hard work
- Morton (10/5): - The staff were absolutely wonderful ❤️ will be back.
- Harry (7/5): Well located small hotel with lovely breakfast and pleasant staff. - Great location with bedroom overlooking front street and lovely breakfast with helpful staff. Evening meals not at same standard of breakfast and very limited wines. Staff a bit inexperienced and unsure what was available.
- DEIRDRE (9/5): -
- Jenny (7/5): - Clean and tidy for an older property. Bed a bit hard. Could do with some hooks or similar in bathroom or something like a table to set things on.

- Carol (4/5): Disappointed overall - Im a chef and would like to say the food we had on Saturday evening was good and hot when delivered well done to them.
Thanks to the younger gentleman who look after us 6.30am for a continental breakfast as service wasn’t to start till 8am he went out if his way to help and assist myself and my daughter as we were there for a golf competition having travelled 4 hours up . Pics and email from hotel did not match reality.
On the 3rd floor lots of flights of stairs .
No parking after I emailing and asking about it I was told no problem. Had issues parking and not knowing the area parking was not as described in an email.
Overpriced for what it is .

- gary (5/5): Overall warm and friendly but standard of room disappointing . - Dining area and breakfast lovely, fridge in the room handy . Room was tired, decor and cleanliness needs attention . Shower cubicle small and in poor condition. Water leaked under door . Pictures of rooms on website not accurate.

- charlenegZ2958GO (4/5): Not great - We went on St Patricks day, a family of 2 adults and a child. It wasn't busy and we didnt have to wait long. I ordered a pizza to share with my child and a side of chips but they gave us a kids pizza, despite me questioning if they dont half and half pizzas which we were told no. Dont understand if they are freshly made how this wasn't possible. I have personally had better frozen pizzas, definitely not a nice at it has been on previous visits. Fizzy drinks were not fresh, it was as if they had been poured from a opened bottle cos there was no fizz to them.
The burger didnt look like great quality of meat either, definitely not homemade. We ordered garlic bread to have on the side, we had to ask where it was and it still never came. When we went to pay they had not removed the garlic bread that we didnt recieve and there was an extra side order added to the bill.
I was very disappointed as any time we have been before was amazing and would have recommended but not this time. It was like they were trying to cut costs but still keep the same prices as before
- Darren (7/5): - The area the staff friendly drinks good price nice food comfy bed clean bathroom Dusty web from ceiling in room
- 16 (10/5): Lovely experience all round - Everything was great! Staff, cleanliness, location and breakfast were lovely. And staff were attentive towards it being my birthday and left some chocolates and a card upon arrival 🥰 There was nothing I didn’t like, only thing I can think of is it would be cool if the bar did cocktails, but that’s no negative!

- Compass15372215570 (2/5): Bad food experience - Unfortunately as nice as the staff were, the food is really appalling and extremely over priced. I have not had such a bad food experience in many years. Dinner for two was extremely poor and I would most definitely not recommend eating here.
- Rebecca (9/5): -
- Nichola (10/5): - Was great
Staff where lovely
Very central Nothing
- Samantha (10/5): - Clean and very friendly Bathroom was very cold

- Jonny (7/5): - The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely food both at dinner and breakfast. The 2 bottles of water in the mini fridge in the room, was a lovely wee touch. Fantastic location. I paid for a double room, and it was two single beds pushed together, and the mattress wasn't very thick, therefore I could feel the divide between the two beds. The rooms on either side of me, were far too noisy, one room had their TV blaring until 1:40am, and the other room the couple argued continously until 2:15am. However, when I went down to the reception to complain to the night porter, he was very helpful, and sorted out the two rooms.
- Edward (10/5): -
- Amanda (6/5): We stayed two nights, and had a pleasant stay. - The breakfast was lovely, good choices available, hot and tasty. The staff were really nice, friendly and there was always someone on reception Bedroom was a good size, the bed was comfortable. Great location. We were so happy to see such a big bathroom, unfortunately there was no heat in it. A freezing cold room with a shower that was either scalding hot or freezing cold. This did put a bit of a dampener on what was otherwise a nice room.
- andrew (8/5): Reasonable value - Bar area very cosy, well set out
Staff excellent
Room was nice, comfy seats and drapes, bottled water & tea/coffee Coffee machine at breakfast - one was faulty, the other produced poor drinks
Cooked breakfast was ok but a bit minimal
Shower in room 7, ok but not much power.
Toilet seat was plastic and cheap, easily upgraded and not expensive to do
- Hannah (10/5): - Staff so friendly and helpful, … the fry was lovely and not greasy … coffee was great and plenty of it
- Denise (9/5): Great location - Excellent food Slightly noisy in the rooms above, but as its an old building this cannot be helped.
- orlaconnolly11 (6/5): Nice staff but mediocre facilities - Great location, our room overlooked the street which was nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. We did find the water pressure of the shower to be quite poor and in the morning and at night time a lot of noise travelled upward from the bar and kitchen, so if you are a light sleeper this might cause issues. We were able to tolerate it though. We didn’t try the bar for a drink or dinner, but we did have breakfast there which I found to be quite mediocre. There were much nicer places in Portrush for breakfast which we ended up going to instead. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
- Jan (5/5): - Helpful staff. Good location Room was cold overnight and heating could not be adjusted in the room. The duvet was thin and there was no second duvet or blanket provided in the room. Bathroom was cold and the heater didn't work so it was very cold getting out of the shower. The shower was set to ice cold with some inaccurate stickers to indicate how to turn it to warmer and wasn't straight forward to use. The floor boards are uneven and squeaky. We had a poor nights sleep as the people in the room above us were being very loud until after 2.30am, and when we went to ring the reception we discovered the phone in the room didn't actually work and we had to go down to reception in person. The staff did speak to the other guests and the noise stopped but every footstep from above could still be heard as they moved about their room. The room fixtures are dated and old. Noise traffic from the street is very audible. Towels were tired and old looking. If it had been inexpensive I could have overlooked much of this but it was massively overpriced for what I would describe as large guest house. It did not feel like a hotel but was charging hotel prices.
- Margaret (8/5): Cosy one night stay - Tasty breakfast and good locstion There was no hot water from the shower . Would have liked a room on a lower ground .
- Denise (10/5): - Very friendly and spotless
- Mary (6/5): Very good - Location fab Small narrow stairs to accommodation
- Michael (8/5): -
- Ciaran (7/5): - Very good location and friendly helpful staff. Felt old and a bit rundown.
- Rebecca (10/5): Fabulous location. Super staff. Excellent location. - Loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. Nothing

- C (8/5): Detox needed 🥴 - It’s a old fashioned property with a bit of character, but it’s clean has decent food and friendly staff and was a fair price we issue with the shower support bracket which I reported on leaving nothing major
