- kangelini (10/5): Nice and comfortable stay in Bangkok - Enjoyed our stay, which was comfortable and convenient. Rooms are large and comfortable. Staff are delightful. Enjoyed the food in the main coffee shop restaurant too which has a very nice breakfast, and lunch too. Traditional food options available, and some healthy clean food options too. My company booked the room and therefore was not able to have my Bonvoy membership recognised for the hotel room, however on F&B consumption they do give 10% off the spend for Bonvoy members. Many nice restaurants within a short walk. Only quirk with our stay is that waiting for the elevators takes a very long time (only four elevators serving the whole building, and the staff also use this elevator).

Even though it was only for one night, everything made us want to come back for a longer stay next time. A special thank you to Pure, who took great care of us during our visit. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional, and her warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We stayed in the Studio Suite, and the birthday decorations prepared in the room were absolutely beautiful. It was such a thoughtful surprise and made the celebration feel very special. The breakfast was also excellent with a great variety of delicious food, and we especially enjoyed the signature cocktails at the bar — they were creative and very tasty. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’re already looking forward to staying for several nights on our next trip to Bangkok.

This was my third visit, and every time I return, it truly feels like coming home. The warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the staff make all the difference. I must especially highlight the outstanding leadership of General Manager Alexander. He is incredibly hands-on and highly visible throughout the hotel. Every time I walked around the property, I would see him. Each morning, he was present in the Social Room during breakfast, personally ensuring everything was up to the highest standard. He always took the time to chat with guests and make sure everyone was enjoying their stay. It was a wonderful coincidence that we visited during Songkran festival. When we returned to the hotel on the morning of the water festivities, Alexander was there at the entrance making sure everything was perfectly prepared. He stopped to chat with us and reminded us to enjoy the celebrations. I travel frequently for both business and leisure, but there’s truly nowhere quite like W Bangkok. The GM’s proactive and personal approach, along with his genuine interest in guest feedback, really sets this hotel apart. Thank you for making my stay so special and remarkable every single time! ❤️

Khun Aye at the front office provided outstanding service during check-in and explained everything clearly. I also appreciated the room upgrade and the delicious local dessert from the housekeeping team. Khun Dodo and the breakfast team were excellent as well. I will definitely come back!

- Rkwok68 (10/5): A good Bangkok outpost - Stayed 5 nights at W Bangkok and had a very comfortable return visit. We were upgraded to a suite on the 29th floor using Marriott SNAs—spacious, well-appointed, and exactly what you’d expect from the W brand. The gym (with Technogym equipment) and the WET deck pool remain standout amenities, just as impressive as our last stay. The biggest change this time was the breakfast. Previously a highlight, the buffet now feels more average compared to other 5-star properties. There are noticeable reductions in selection—most notably, the memorable sweet burnt coconuts are no longer included and have been moved to a paid lunch offering. A bit disappointing, and reflective of the broader trend of less included value. That said, service remains excellent. The breakfast team—led by a personable manager with impeccable English—was proactive, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Even minor issues were handled quickly and professionally. Overall, still a strong stay: comfortable rooms, great facilities, and a convenient location near two Skytrain stations. I’d continue to recommend W Bangkok as a solid option, though on our next visit we’ll likely explore other 5-star properties within Marriott or IHG for comparison.

We were there for the Songkran Splash Away event on April 13th, and while the event itself was fantastic, the level of care from your staff was even more impressive. I would like to specifically commend Nin and Gun from the Bell team, as well as Pure from the GRO team. During the event, my friend lost a pair of sunglasses. Despite the crowd and the high energy of the party, Nin, Gun, and Pure were incredibly helpful and diligent in assisting us. They managed to track them down and return them to us, which truly saved the day. Their professionalism, proactive attitude, and genuine hospitality made a significant impact on our stay. They truly live up to the "Whatever/Whenever" philosophy of W Hotels. Please ensure that this praise is shared with them and their respective department heads. Starting from friendly staff, a convenient location (next to Chong Nonsi BTS Skytrain), spacious room with beds were incredibly comfortable, and breakfast each morning was fresh and varied, with plenty of options for different diets A special shout‑out to Pure and Katie, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. From thoughtful gestures on helping us to capture family photos, the breakfast team’s on great attraction recommendations, the ground crew offering takeaway water to survive on hot days, and the pool staff surprising us with complementory refreshing drinks. She was incredibly warm, attentive, and made our check-in smooth, easy, and seamless. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and Fah made it feel truly special, personal, and memorable, which we really appreciated. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view, incredibly cozy pillows, and total blackout — perfect for a deep, restorative sleep. Everything from the atmosphere to the attention to detail was on point. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!
- _V8874CH (10/5): Amazing experience at W Bangkok - I cannot speak highly enough of my recent 3-night stay at W Bangkok with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary, and this has been an incredibly unforgettable experience! As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, we were generously upgraded to a superior room free of charge. The hotel also prepared lovely decorations for our special occasion, which made us feel truly valued. The first room faced the street with noticeable noise from traffic and transit, but after we mentioned this to the staff, we were seamlessly moved to a quiet room the next night at no extra cost. The breakfast selection is exceptional, with delicious dishes and several new items served daily, satisfying all our tastes. The 24-hour swimming pool is stylish and perfect for taking wonderful photos, adding plenty of fun to our trip. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to taxis and rail transit. A special shout-out to "Jessy" for his outstanding service! He crafted adorable and memorable towel animals for us, which left a heartwarming impression on our Bangkok journey. Every staff member here is attentive and friendly, and we will absolutely choose this hotel again on our next visit.

- FredrikHalmstad (10/5): Another great stay - Stayed at W again for 4 nights, I live in Bangkok but sometimes I like to take a local holiday and stay in hotel for a few days to pamper myself. I must say that W is a favourite. I really enjoy the facilities and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. I can recommend the Spa and the relax facilities. This time the jacuzzi was out of order but otherwise the facilities are very good. The Thai restaurant was fully booked by a company but the kitchen table proved to have great food.

We were celebrating a special occasion and they made it special by arranging some desserts . The breakfast spread was one of the best in a Marriott, with rotating hot items and ala carte items which were very tasty. Location wise it is quite near transit station , but we used Grab due to the convenience.There is a Michelin Star restaurant on campus which we did not try but heard good reviews .

- SvenZH (10/5): Great stay at W Bangkok with convenient BTS access - I stayed three nights at the W Bangkok and overall had a very good stay. The room was comfortable and well designed, with a reasonable size, although not particularly large. One aspect to be aware of, which is quite typical for W hotels and more a matter of personal preference, is that the bathroom is almost completely open. There is no real door between the bedroom and the bathroom area, only a curtain, so privacy is quite limited. Even the toilet is separated only by a glass door. Breakfast was excellent, with a very large buffet offering a wide selection of both local Thai dishes and international options. The gym is surprisingly small considering the size of the hotel and can get quite crowded at peak times, although the machines are very new and well maintained. There is also a nice pool area. It feels more like a stylish place to relax rather than a pool meant for proper lap swimming, but it’s still a pleasant space. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful during the stay. The location is very convenient. The hotel is directly connected to one BTS station and another one is within walking distance, which is extremely useful since traffic in this part of Bangkok can get quite intense. A nice additional plus is that the Nobu restaurant is located right next door, so you can easily walk there for dinner. Overall, a stylish and well-located hotel that works very well as a base for exploring Bangkok.

- Mat92473 (10/5): 10/10 - From arrival to leaving, the experience of the hotel and passion of the team members is what makes this hotel so unique and why we continue to return to this hotel. The Whatever/Whenever team made our arrival to the hotel very special; the personal touches are memorable! The team around the pool are so friendly and welcomed us by our names on almost every visit - not an easy task with so many guests!! Our room was kept very clean and re-stocked well! And breakfast was excellent - even during the extremely busy period of CNY! All the staff were great and so pleasant, but I would like to make a special mention of one individual who truly made our experience extra special every visit. Carlos was so polite and attentive, greeted us with a warm smile without fail, and always checked in on us. My travel partner has a severe lactose intolerance, Carlos made us feel so at ease with his understanding of this and his additional checks with food and drink orders made us feel so content. Even when the breakfast room was so busy, we knew we were in safe hands with Carlos which really was so important to us. We learnt he was early on with his career in hospitality, and he certainly has a promising future, and we hope to see him again in future stays at the W Bangkok. He provided the 1st class experience and more. And finally, I would like to say, when you see the GM of the hotel supporting his team during a peak period and clearing tables, that's when you truly know everyone at this hotel puts their guests at the heart of their actions. 'a great leader, leads by example' - credit to the GM and his daily visibility around the hotel
