• Elza (8/5): Beautiful views and best swimming pool in town! - Atlantic Palace hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to respond to requests and the service all around is outstanding. The quality of the food in the restaurant is also good. The swimming pool is amazing - another reason to return to this hotel. And the view over Pointe-Noire from the balcony is superb. The neighbors to the hotel had a loud party that went on well beyond midnight. I know that the owner is addressing this issue, as it impacts negatively on the guest experience.

The hotel is managed by Lebanese it seems, resulting in degraded service quality. At times I see Lebanese guys at the reception desk, sometimes a woman of Lebanese descent or similar…. The hotel is not as glamorous as I thought
• alegriav2021 (10/5): A weekend away - Such an elegant hotel. The entire staff was so kind and accommodating. The balcony had a gorgeous view of the ocean in the distance and the courtyard below. I couldn't have had a more relaxing stay. Oh and the food,it couldn't have been better. Love this hotel.

• paparoel (6/5): Empty good food - Been here a few times over the last few years. Never busy but now empty.. new hilton dt in town so there is the action. Room ok but my room had no hot water working. The breakfast is poor but the dinner is very nice. I would recommend dining here.

The staff is very attentive, the hotel is immaculate, the food is very good, the pool is very nice and clean, and the gym well-equipped. • Varun_travellor (10/5): Grand... - A grand place from the moment you enter iside the hotel! check in is a brisk process and pleasant. the stay is comfortable. rooms are spacious and comfortable and give a good vew of the pool and the outside! every room has a small balcony to enjoy your leisure time and it is a very nice place to be! the breakfast for not very impressive. the spread was small and not all was tasty for the amount taken! service in room was ok! the shuttle to the airport is very expensive 25000 XAF. please take a local taxi for 3000 XAF instead!
• Verified traveler (8/5): Atlantic palace PNR - Hotel is kept clean and tidy. Few if any mosquitos in rooms which is a big plus as no nets. Food is of a reasonable standard although breakfast was not as good as the last time I stayed. Efficient check in and out and sorted my faulty safe very quickly.
• Coaad (6/5): 2 week stay - The hotel is on the expensive side for what it is. Some new hotels being built and the competition will wake this hotel up. The rooms are fine and the hotel is well kept. The restaurant is expensive, badly managed and waiters running around while guests wait. They even take time out to watch soccer on the tv whilst management stroll around oblivious. Some lovely hotels on the beach close by that have better food and at a much better price. A few good waiters but only a few. Waiting nearly an hour now for our food, luckily our last night. Not worth the money, much better to shop around.
• Imali2017 (8/5): Good for business trips - accessible wifi - We enjoyed our stay here as it was a comfortable place to sleep, and easy to sit by the pool and restaurant both to get some work done and to have a social dinner/drinks. Breakfast was not great, however lunch and dinner menu was fine.
• Milesy504 (8/5): Great place to stay in the Congo - I stayed for 2 weeks during a business trip, and was surprised by the good standard of facilities and food. A great gym, large pool, very good breakfast and dinner (nothing's cheap in Congo). Laundry was quick, and the rooms spacious, even if a little dated. The A/C worked well though. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who finds themselves in Pointe Noire
• llcoold (8/5): Solid 4 star - I've actually stayed here several times, and became more familiar with the hotel after moving to pointe noire. It's right in the Main Street, with all rooms facing the back towards the pool. Entrance is very grandiose, and rooms are also quite nice. Pool is semi-Olympic sized,with beautiful grounds around it. Breakfast buffet is very good, as is the dinner menu.
• Eryk932 (10/5): 2nd time here. And much better experience - I visited this hotel 1st time last year and it was good. But this time it is even better. Room was very spacious and clean and there was no "humidity" smell in it. Not sure if they changed lifts but the current ones were very quiet and fast. Staff is friendly and receptionists spek English very well. Check-in took 2 minutes, check-out 4 minutes. Restaurant is pricey but open until midnight and offer wide choice of meals (international and lebanese cuisines). 25 m outside pool is often used by hotel guests. The best place to spend night in Pointe Noire, probably one of the better hotels in the region.
• GigiP_13 (6/5): Over-rated - European level hotel only at a first sight. Very expenses for an old structure with few services. Conditioning unit in the room is very noisy but I do not know honestly if you can find detailed something better in Pointe Noire. Prices for European - type hotels are really high here.
• AlaskaUnite (6/5): Florescent Necropolis - This place is lit up like the 4th of July, and upon walking in, the gaudy decor can make you a little dizzy. But the staff is very friendly and helpful. I do not speak French, but there were no problems communicating with anyone, even when there were some changes that needed to be made to my booking. The rooms are large with good amenities. My standard room came with mini fridge, a bottle of water, cable TV, good sized bathroom and a balcony that looks out onto the garden and pool. Buffet offered on the weekends is great with lots of options. The only complaint really is the decor and the price of the rooms. The whole place is dreadfully dated. But the hotel is in the middle of everything with easy access to everywhere you need to go in PNR.
• CheekyAxel (8/5): Nice ambiance, dated everything else - I was placed into this hotel on a couple of visits into Congo and for my first move into country. While the outside and entry are very nice, the place needs work. The room: These rooms look like they are from the 80's. Very dated look and not impressive at all. The showers show wear along with everything else here. The food: The best part of the food is the buffet on Saturdays which is Lebanese. Otherwise the food is ok but not for what you. The pool is one of the highlights here. Very nice and clean. Looks great at night and lots of people use on the weekends. The gym needs work. All in all, for the price you pay you would expect more. But then again this is Congo pricing which is gouging and not worth the spend. I give it 3 stars as it is an overpriced average stay.
• Eryk932 (8/5): You have (almost) all what you need in this hotel - Probably the best business hotel in Pointe Noire. You have a very nice outdoor swimming pool, good restaurant and gym (open only until 9:00 or 10:00 PM). It is expensive but it is clean, rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Service is ok but not everyone speaks English.
• mustufa_vin (10/5): One will enjoy the stay - Very good ambiance, staff is co-operative, good pool and gym, Rooms are very spacious and excellent furnitures. Couple of points to be considered by hotel if they can have live counter for breakfast and improved wifi speed. Definitely the name goes with the ambiance of Palace in the hotel. Enjoyed a lovely stay.
• 234margaretg (10/5): Great location - My husband and I have stayed at this hotel twice for about a week each time and enjoyed it both times. We found the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and clean. The pool and gardens are beautiful. The hotel is not far from the beach. We had to withdraw money from the automatic teller many times and appreciated having one close by on either side of the hotel. We appreciated having a breakfast buffet available since we had to leave the hotel early each day. The restaurant is very good with a varied menu. There is also a nice bakery across the street. The view from the rooms overlooking the pool is lovely.
• anwartakwa1 (10/5): enjoyable experience at the Atlantic - staying for over a month in an unknown country can be a scary thing especially if you are their for long working hours for an oil company. Staying at the atlantic was such a satisfactoin after the long hot days , coming back to a fresh room facing the huge swimming pool made you forget about the stress of the day. The service is impeccable and everyone was very nice and smiles were everywhere. Definitly asking my company to book me there if and when i ever come back for a visit. Ow and the nights i didn't eat out the food was delish too!
• andrewmatthews23 (10/5): Beautiful Hotel - I stayed here travelling through Pointe Noire for business and have to say it is, by far, the nicest hotel in the area. The entrance way is amazing, marble and huge chandeliers opening into a gigantic lounge area. The restaurant has a very nice selection at a very reasonable price. The pool is huge and the view of it from the rooms is pretty awesome. Definitely recommend this spot as it blows away all the other hotels in the area.

Dont expect standard services which you get in branded hotels 3.Shifted from large room to smaller room in the middle of my stay on the pretext of some ongoing maintenance 4. Dont expect any local information from concierge / reception as they are not interested to answer any queries 5. if you wish to have breakfast in the room, only a standard breakfast / cannot be modified @ USD 20+ Pros 1. Restaurant manager was very helpful, very unlike rest of hotel staff
• Verified traveler (6/5): Not bad for Pointe-Noire - Considering what is available in the area, the hotel is not a bad choice. Rooms were not bad, food was nice and services more than acceptable. For a business trip or a 2-3 days stay this should work fine for most travelers.

The breakfast buffet was rather monotonous. The reception staff were not so friendly at check in. Otherwise a good hotel in a great location.

• Beck (8/5): Best Pool of Central-Africa - Overall good hotel with friendly service. My room was below expected standard but a very nice garden and perfect pool are like an oasis that make you forget the dusty roads of Congo.
• RH (8/5): Excellent Hotel - An excellent hotel, and a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of Pointe Noire. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and during my 3 days there I saw no mosquitos or bugs in the room at all, which is unusual for west africa accommodation. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I stayed for 3 days on business and will definitely stay here on my next trip to Pointe Noire.
