- Roseann (4/5): - The room was very dirty with dirty finger prints all over the walls, power went out a few times, room leaked rain all over my bed and suitcase. The elevator stopped working multiple times we had to use the emergency stairs to go down with our luggage. A staff did help us though. In the end, we were not offered a discount or even money back for our inconvenience. Staff were very friendly and tried to help as much as possible. I think there is potential for this place if owners put a bit of money into it and cleaned it thoroughly.

- Matías (2/5): - It was dirty, all of it. Things didn't work on my floor (3rd floor) and I had to go all the time to the other floors. There was a mistake with my bed (which had a horrible mattress, also) so they moved my stuff when I wasn't there. And then they said it was my mistake (beds were not labelled correctly). When they changed me into the new bed it was dirty and they didn't clean it. Many things wrong, wouldn't go there again ever

- Verified traveler (8/5): Reasonable price and good option - It is very cheap. Bathrooms and toilets etc are all good however need to share the room with others. If someone is fine with it then I think it is a very cheap option for your stay in Barcelona. Staff was very good and cooperative. 24/7 front desk service is available.

- Mohamed (6/5): - Nothing to rave about actually. I paid extra for breakfast of which was never provided. You must find out about their special entrance or you will be locked out
- Verified traveler (6/5): - To start some positives: There are hostel staff who make an effort, and go an extra mile to leave good impression, however difficult environment they work in. Also clearly there are noticeable attempts to make some improvements - new sinks, mirrors, toilets. Hostel is located in quite area not far from metro station. Negatives: You get what you pay for. Upper floor where I had been located is a derelict place - broken toilets, showers, electric switches on the walls, hanging wires etc. This is hostel than shared accommodation, what mean a gamble... It turned up I did not have much luck, had been located with one chap in there already, who had been moving from one bed to another, than I doubt I had clean bedding - suspect he slept in my bed prior my arrival. Than next 2 nights in addition came to sharing room with another chap who did not like soap and water - had been stupidly excusing himself for not having spare socks - stench was horrendous, even all night fully open terrace door did not help, what meant poor or no sleep. He left after while, however, left stench behind - I do believe his bedding was not changed after he left. ?Did mine was changed?
- Martin (10/5): - Mellow is located in very calm neighbourhood with eye catching views.installation are quite good specially modren cube type beds well equipped with private box and curtain.I,ll recommend Mellow to backpackers .
