The levy tax is all they are concerned about, pay your money and stay at a better place, PLEASE! You will be disappointed here

• Jared (8/5): Great Stay & Great Service - We had a wonderful time staying at The Palm. Some highlights include a short 15 minute walk to the beach where there is a lot of space you can use for yourself. The beach was clean too. The hotel staff gave us plenty of options to explore around the area including an island tour which we decided to partake in for a reasonable price. There are many shops around the area if you want to save money and eat / cook cheaper meals in the room. Our room was located on a steep incline so be prepared for that. Otherwise great stay!

• Verified traveler (6/5): Our stay at The Palm - We stayed here for 2 nights, small family. The self-catered apartment is nice it self. Clean, big and with good view ( we got upper one ) It is stated that this is up in the hills 15-20 min to walk to Beau Vallon just as you know you will be happy with it. It is no problem to walk, but when it is dark we felt unsafe to walk along the road with small children ( no walkway ) so you must bring flashlight or take a taxi or have a renta car. Nice with the small swimming pool. Unclear when reception is open so a bit difficult to get help when we needed. Communication is also important part of a stay for us. We asked The Palm in advance to arrange taxi for a planned restaurant visit in the evening and also to go to the jetty early in the morning. Driver never came. We were 1,5 hour late for the dinner and also had to find a driver for the jetty ourselves. Owner said she was available on WhatsApp when she was not there, but was not possible flr us to reach or call when we needed. Our comfort was also partly disturbed by neighbours dogs barking all night.
• Birgit&Sven (10/5): - Very warm welcome on arrival day, incl. lots of information regarding the island and on events and proposals for tours. We also get very good support on booking a day trip to the Saint Anne Marine Park, incl. all fees and creole lunch buffet. Very very good and daily room service. This is a very nice, safe and well-groomed place, what we definitely would book again!
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely quiet setting in a more residential area of Bel Ombré and is about a 10-15 minute walk to Beau Vallon beach. Large self-catering apartment with two decent sized rooms, two bathrooms, open plan kitchen and lounge area with access to a balcony overlooking the pool. Room was cleaned and tidied everyday. Christine was a fantastic hostess, very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I felt she went out of her way to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend and we have left Seychelles with many fond memories. Hopefully we shall return in the not so distant future!

Very helpful advice provided on places to visit, eat etc. One thought for improvement is outside path lighting. It was difficult to see walking to/from car after dark. Good area to stay for exploring Beau Valon, Victoria and surrounding areas.

Our flight was delayed and someone was waiting for us at 3 AM to give us access to the property and our apartment. Great location, walking distance for the beach at Beau Vallon. • Nadine (8/5): Schöne Ferienwohnung mit gigantischer Aussicht - Bei unserer Ankunft, die schon morgens um 7.30 war wurden wir bereits mit einer sofort beziehbaren Unterkunft und einem leckern Frühstück begrüßt. Der Kontakt war immer sehr freundlich und die Mitarbeiter haben uns in allen Belangen geholfen, auch als wir einen spontanen Kurztrip nach la Dique planten. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Seychellen Urlaub mit Sicherheit wieder ein paar Tage im Palm einplanen Herzlichen Dank an dieser Stelle noch mal an das ganze Team
• Verified traveler (10/5): They really go the extra mile.. - We (a family with one child - 2 years old - and a baby - 7 months old) spent 14 amazing days at the Palm Seychelles. The hotel is very close to several supermarkets, not far from the beach (a 15 minutes walk to Beau Vallon), has a very nice view and is extraordinarily clean with a lovely swimming pool area. The apartments are really big with fully equipped kitchen and tasteful furniture. Breakfast was excellent with fresh tropical fruits etc. With respect to service they really go the extra mile - Christine, the hotel manager, is very smart and has very helpful advices with respect to trips around Mahe, to the other islands, car rental etc. We recommend to rent a car.
• Lars R. (8/5): Tolles Zimmer & nettes Personal - Das Zimmer war unglaublich toll und das Personal war sehr nett (Christin und Corinne). Es ist alles wirklich toll und die Küche bietet alles um sich selbst zu versorgen. Super! Leider liegt das Hotel ein wenig abseits und es wird ein Mietauto benötigt um zum Strand oder zu einem Restaurant etc. zu kommen. Oder man erledigt alles mit dem öffentlichen Bus, was zwar auch eine tolle Erfahrung ist, jedoch in den Ferien vermutlich eher nich gesucht wird.

• Kim (8/5): - The Palm Seychelles has nice, spacious apartments: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies, sitting room and fully fitted kitchen, total of approx. 90 m2. However, staff is only available few hours a day, and there are no services beyond the apartments. The gated access is always locked, and you need a remote to open it. So please make sure to prearrange arrival time, since otherwise you cannot get in, and you risk that there would be no one to handover the room to you. So The Palm Seychelles is not a hotel, but once you understand how they operate, it is a good place to be.
• Rabia (10/5): Excellent facilities - I had a great experience staying at the palm. The apartment was in excellent condition. The palm is very close to the beau vallon beach and Victoria, so it's very easy to get to most of the places in mahe. The only problem I had was that there were too many mosquitoes but that's very common in Seychelles. Also, the housekeeping staff was very good. They sprayed the insecticide every day which helped a lot. It's a great place for families to stay.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect place for a small family - Our 2 bedroom apartment with the beach/mountain view and pool access was perfect for our small family, very close to the beach (Beau Vallon) and other facilities such as supermarkets and a small drive to Victoria. The kitchen was well equipped, good cleaning facilities were available and the manager Imtiaz and Cristine were very friendly and always ready to help at anytime. Security was not a worry, you will safe at all time. We had a fairly good internet access although we were warned beforehand that the island experiences bad connection. Highly recommend this accommodation.

• Ash (8/5): Great for families - The team at The Palm are very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The apartments are spacious and our balcony had a terrific view of the sea. Travelling as a family with 2 children, it was great to have a good size kitchen and sitting room so that we could feel at home, rather than being in just a bedroom for our 2 week stay. The washing machine was a bonus, so I didn't have to return with suitcase loads of dirty washing! The little pool was great and we never had to share it with anyone.

The staff were very helpful and efficient. A great location with close access to the beach, but having a car is highly recommended. We spent a week at this location and found it easy to visit all corners of the island with a car - all for the same price as one room in a mediocre resort! We would stay there again.

• Julia (8/5): One Night in Seychelles - The suite was lovely, although it seems they would do better to market it with extended stay rates, since it would be ideal for a week or more. It was a little off the beaten path, a fair walk to any kind of store or to the beach. If we had a rental car and a week in town rather than just a night, it would've been perfect. Note: the breakfast was excellent, but there is no "restaurant" on site- they have a small kitchen which they ONLY operate for breakfast from 9-11, and it is a set menu. Bring food or be prepared to venture afield for lunch or dinner.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely view and appreciated the privacy/seclusion. - The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the beach which was merely a skip away from the hotel. The shower door was broken but everything else was perfect. I will definitely come back to the same hotel if we pull in to this island again.
